481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Repeating mistakes on casino games in gambling site on: February 15, 2024, 08:47:27 PM
No matter how long you break, you will inevitably going to commit mistakes again and again. There's no way to avoid that but there's a way to minimize it and that's why you have to check yourself always if you're good to gamble this day or you better skip until your emotion has fully recovered. Yes, the emotion is the factor here because if you make mistakes, the possibility of you chasing the losses is very much high and that's why you have to control it as that triggers you to gamble more. And another thing is don't think of that much for your gains because that's making you greedy and still relates to your emotion of going for more and gives you high chances of making a mistake.

It's a global thing that the goods that we consume are increasing, some may not be on a daily basis but you expect that if there's a rise on the crude oil and any related products. Then, all of the things that are being transported are also going to increase. It sucks that it all started during the war of Russia and Ukraine when mills have increased and oil due to demand and supply and even until now, everything has risen. Coming up with some news, UK has admitted that they're economy have fallen into a recession[1].

483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if? (2) on: February 14, 2024, 11:56:40 PM
But, what if it really happen in the future?

What will happen to Bitcoin if in the future we will be experiencing this internet apocalypse?
People are just too bored to make these assumptions that there's no solution to these internet apocalypse. The professionals have been anticipating something like this to happen and it will totally halt the operations of the network if this happens because it's a global impact that shall take place. For now, there is nothing we can do but just to stick to whatever plan that we have and we don't have an idea if it happens since it's probably going to be the first time in the history that will include and involve Bitcoin. I have no idea if this has happened already before. But I am guessing that most of the large companies that do really solely to internet connection have a plan on how to mitigate the impact of it, well doesn't now? Because majority of the companies nowadays are relying heavily on it.
484  Economy / Speculation / Re: WILL BITCOIN CONTINUE TO RISE on: February 14, 2024, 10:12:09 PM
Only time will tell, it can be trapped at this point and some corrections are on their way. And if we're going to see that part, any price below the current is always possible. $29k is possible but I don't think that we'll get back there, there's a stronger bullish part at this end than of going with the bearish sentiment. As we all know, the cycle is in and once we pass through the halving then any price that's higher than of today's price is possible to be surpassed. Long term wise, we know that Bitcoin will continue to get back to its former ATH of 2021 and then might be higher than that. While these ETF purchases could still be probably sold by these institutions in batches as what they used to do and that's to make money but buying force and demand is higher thanks to halving and the cycle that we're in.
Yes, Bitcoin is a volatile asset, although there are some tools to help us predict, it's not that accurate. As we can see, when we had the ETF approved, we thought that it's automatic $50k for us. But guess what? the price moves in the opposite direction, it goes to $39k. But then again, after a week or two, price is now $50k and now still moving to $52k. So maybe we can see another correction, or maybe the price will continue to go up, only time can tell. And again, there will be some technical analysis that seems to be predicting this movement, but it could be invalidated by a simple negative news and pull down the market again. But we still up some aces, the block halving. It will be the catalyst for the price to increase in the future and welcoming us for the bull run.
That's what fuels the market as it pushes through another K price. It has to correct in order for it to move forward. Many have expected that it will go back to $50k because of the spot etf contribution. And many have their own analysis on where this is going. But as a no brainer analysis, halving comes and approaching, 4-year cycle that we've proven in the past. No matter what analysis thinks that this cycle will be broken, it is inevitable to see that Bitcoin is heading upwards and not downwards. Some moments may be seen as it slips a bit but it's always resilient.

Those that are capable to do all of it are great people. I can't even do all of it, I am not sure if I can start my own startup and that's why I just want to be an investor. Having a business sounds great but you know the effort of it will take a lot from you. Coming from money, time, focus and effort, all of them are going to be required if you want your business to be successful and thriving. People might think that you're going to do less with a business but no. You'll even be the one to be the initiator of being everything on it as a role model.
488  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why we need to stay vigilant on: February 14, 2024, 12:03:58 PM
Think of this market as the wilderness and you're walking in the wild(scams). That's why each of us need to be vigilant with our steps and be attentive at all times. You're on your own and don't think that the regulators will save you as an individual. They are there to make policies and laws that will benefit and also most of us. But if it's about taking care of ourselves, we need to be wary that there's no government that will protect us every time that we're going to search for these exchanges or projects. And that's why I am telling you that we're on our own and you have to protect yourself from them and that's through being informed and validating each project or investment that you'll be interested with.
489  Economy / Economics / Re: Surviving the economy with creative thinking. on: February 13, 2024, 11:54:04 PM
Definitely. It's different today unlike in the past where people can be reliant on their jobs and incomes as a white collar worker. But with inflation and cost of everything rising while wagers don't come up with that cost. It's importan to be creative and we've seen people working with three jobs and more just to cope up with the rising cost. Although those fortunate people can still have their work-life balance but those average workers, it's noticeable that it's different nowadays that the salary they're having won't be able to give them a better life but just bare enough to survive.

Prolly him.
It matches the story that he just told and if this is the real him then he's hufflepuff.

My question is:

Why didn't you report the bug if you were there as a tester?
He answered it that he never wanted to return any money and that's what on his mind to just keep on abusing the system while he can until he's busted but never did.

2. I never felt guilt or wanted to return the money. Casino is a very shady business and the owners of these platforms dont care about their players or their losses and will do anything to milk their customers out of their last dollar. So i feel no sympathy. I outplayed them at their own game.

If he's the real guy based on the article, then it's known on which dice site he has exploited. But with skeptical minds, we've got a thought on this one that the guy(OP) might just know the story and trying to claim that it was him. Otherwise, it was really him.
491  Economy / Economics / Re: Is increase in minimum wage a good method to fight inflation? on: February 13, 2024, 08:31:26 PM
Over time, I've heard discussions about inflation and the rising cost of goods and services across almost every sector on the world economy.
However, suggestions have been made in various ways on how best to tackle the menace called Inflation. Recently I have personally thought that one of the ways to fight inflation in an economy is to increase minimum wage. More so there has been a back and forth argument on these, as some persons argue that the increase in minimum wage will rise the bar on commodities, because they feel hence you increase the purchasing powers, it will have a multiplier effect on the economy which might be challenging.
As the minimum wage increases, it is also going to make the employers do something to at least take back for that increase and that's through their products or anything they are producing to increase the cost as well. Increasinng minimum wage might not be the solution but it is really one way to at least give us better way of dealing inflation.

So guys, is increase in minimum wage not a good measure to fight inflation. Let's have your opinion.
It is one of the good measures but it's not going to be enough if we want to totally triumpant over it. That's why as a minimum earner, we have to expand our skills and make use of our time better to go with another source of income so that we don't rely to our mininum wage whether it's increased or not.
492  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hey! it's $50k today. on: February 13, 2024, 06:24:22 PM
-snip-
The majority of the analysis that I am seeing tells that it is going to be followed by a dump. Yeah, this is quite too early to see before the halving but once this breaks the confidence of those analyses, as usual, Bitcoin is always unpredictable and that's what people must predict and expect from it. So, if there are analyses that tell that before or after the halving it is going down. That's okay but the result still depends on the demand and how it is coping up with the adoptions like the actual volume that it is getting from the Bitcoin ETF spot. And don't be surprised everyone when fees go higher as well.
I'm not sure why they made such an analysis - but in their hearts they probably expected the price to rise to the moon. It's hard to guess where it will actually go once $50K is hit - personally I expect $55K higher to be reached before the halving although there will be some minor corrections.

Well - finally $50K is a reality again after last being touched in late December 2021.
It's been 2 years since we've seen that price and again it has been followed up by a dump and that's normal. $48k then $49k, and for sure that is going to be back to $50k lines and more again. Those analyses that they've made, I think they're normal and they've got their own basis base on how they read the market. If it's not for these moves and some news that had been caused of it or the actuality of the effect of the ETF, we're not going to see it quite early this time. But then, we still have ample time before the halving and what's next for its main effect that might be seen after several months.

That deep conversation and sweet talks and words are likely a romance scam which is popular to the oldies but goodies. They're easy to trust people and even if a random stranger comes to them, they are not going to ignore them if they find some interesting words that they say. One attracting words they'll use is about making easy money and even if we've been reminding a lot of people to avoid such, there will always be those gullible people that will fall for these scams. An experience is what they need but sadly, even some of them have experienced these scams and fake investments, they never their lesson. I've read how many times with these stories that they've fallen to a stranger online that have asked them to invest on specific platform that's not even known, and obviously those fake platforms have been made specifically for their victims.

Congrats to our winner komisariatku, Rasmus got the first goal at 17' with the help of Harry Maguire's short pass.
Congratulations komisariatku, I've missed this one and will join the next one.

I tried playing plinko on hard mode in hopes of getting 1000x. It turns out that getting a 1000x multiplier is very difficult, but several of my friends gotten it. I only got 26x multiplier, which is pretty good and I got a small win.
I've tried going on with that high multiplier but I don't think that I'll ever hit that. And that's why setting it like that multiplier as yours and going down to 10x-15x is likely my confidence set. And it's totally fun to play when you don't have that much thing to do.

I contacted live support, and they side that it's one of the mirror sites. I think they forgot to update the list of mirror sites. There could be more.
Now, it's confirmed that it's a mirror site of them then we should not worry much about it. They should update the list of the mirror sites so others won't get confused about it.
I agree, we have thought that it's not really from them as there's a bunch of phishing copying the real one and its mirror sites. And in that case, I am wrong and xlays is right.  Smiley

What do you think...
  • An upwards trend from $50k
  • An downwards movement from here

I am also curious to know what's the casino but I don't think that you'll disclose the casino for your personal protection because it can track you back then if ever that casino still exists. So, going on, how you'd spent that money because $1M way back that year of 2014 was certainly a lot although it's still a lot considering with inflation and more priced in cost of goods. And about withdrawal, I am guessing that you're not able to withdraw that without going through KYC or you did it with a KYC? Also with the amounts, did you just withdraw it in a single withdrawal or it's in batches?
498  Other / Off-topic / Re: i need product:) on: February 12, 2024, 06:14:05 PM
You are trying to get your market research freely if you're asking that in the forum. Have your own research analyst and specialist for them to know that specific niche and product on what you must buy and resell. Check out websites like alibaba as most of the ecom businessmen are getting their products there and reselling them in their areas with a better profit margin. Or look on your local manufacturers and direct selling for you to have discounts and choose one of them and be a distributor. You are even free to choose two competitors product and have them as your own product to resell.
499  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What have you learnt from this forum that has actually saved/ you in real life. on: February 12, 2024, 11:41:53 AM
Before it was a good idea to tell people that you are an advocate and enthusiastic about Bitcoin, but nowadays, the situation has changed dramatically and you can think of yourself as someone putting into the wild with these scavengers that you'll never know if they're friends or already have a bad plan against you because you've just mentioned that you own Bitcoin. This is mainly the reason why I don't want to tell anyone what I do or I just choose to whom I am saying that I still hold Bitcoin. Because of the wrench attacks, you have to be careful to whom you trust and talk to.
500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A blog about someone planning to retire early with Bitcoin on: February 12, 2024, 08:48:00 AM
$500 is already an incredible and high amount at least IMHO. Whether you live in a first-world or third-world country, that amount is already significant and way back even higher than before this crazy inflation came. What we can learn here is that the accumulation through DCA is always going to be worth it. People may find the strategy to be lowkey at the beginning but that's the purpose of it, the effect will be seen in the long term and that's why it is important that someone has a long term plan or if not, a short term plan. But anyway, the majority of us here have already decided to stay in the long run.
