4882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Spreading Bitcoin to....JAPAN??? on: November 24, 2010, 03:58:22 PM
If bitcoin was invented in Japan, maybe it should be popular in Japan?
4883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which Country You're From on: November 24, 2010, 03:53:58 PM

4884  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Chrome Bitcoin Extension Bounty(300 BTC pledged) on: November 24, 2010, 03:23:08 PM
Is the source code available anywhere? I would like to put it on github.
4885  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Hippch's Download Site on: November 24, 2010, 03:03:43 PM
Honestly, I thought about all of this, but really do not know how to deal with that. I planned to add "Flag this"-kind link to report pirated files, so I can remove them. Do you have any links to cases with this *AA group and filesharing services?

Gorgeous Angeline Jolie wallpaper? Ain't that pirated?
4886  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Letter to the CCC on: November 24, 2010, 02:48:06 PM

I got the email address right anyway.

4889  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic Of Bounties. on: November 24, 2010, 06:11:55 AM
As price deflation continues, the new bounty become more valuable, thereby inducing incentives to complete the bounty.
4890  Economy / Economics / Economic Of Bounties. on: November 24, 2010, 05:58:15 AM
IF there are price deflation, the value of bounties rise. This increase incentive for people to complete them.

However, new bounties will offer less money.
4891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Much Needed Makeover: A New Look for MyBitcoin.com on: November 24, 2010, 05:54:20 AM
http://ubitio.us is potentially one of the most benefical site. All we need is good uploaders that provide us with new materials that aren't "pirated".
4892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Much Needed Makeover: A New Look for MyBitcoin.com on: November 24, 2010, 05:48:33 AM
IMHO, most if not all bitcoin sites stink.

bitcoin.org is the best.  Every other site needs work including mine.

Bitcoin.org is too technical.
4893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Much Needed Makeover: A New Look for MyBitcoin.com on: November 24, 2010, 04:09:26 AM
But the buttons and login screen still sucks. More work to do.
4894  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bounty for Bitcoin Animated Movie [13622.05 BTC ($2520) and growing] on: November 24, 2010, 03:50:13 AM
Bytemaster is inactive again. He is last seen November 9.
4895  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Hippch's Download Site on: November 24, 2010, 12:30:40 AM
This is awesome by the way. The confirmation went through faster than having to solve a stupid captcha.

On one of those site(rapidshare), you have to solve a captcha, then WAIT 15 seconds, and then BE LIMITED to slowass download speed.
4896  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please Read: A personal appeal from Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales on: November 23, 2010, 11:43:24 PM
That remind me. I need to get to the CCC. We need to conquer more charities before we take on the Goliath that is Wikimedia.
A session at their annual congress in Berlin between Christmas and New Year would fit perfectly into their agenda, and spawn a lot of interest.  I was there last year, and it was packed with all kinds of hackers.  There is no better way to capture their interest.

Can't come to Germany.
4897  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Letter to the CCC on: November 23, 2010, 11:35:02 PM
Finally got around to sending a letter to vostrade(AT)ccc.de

I sent 30btc to the bitcoin faucet. Now you can increase the bitcoin handout  Smiley

Wrong topic.

Not really. If you doing an advertising campaign and direct people to the faucet directly the first thing they experience with bitcoins is the ability to try it out. That has to be a great selling point.  Smiley

bitcoinme.com is a better alternative.
4899  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Operation Project Wonderful (215 BTC) (Taken) on: November 23, 2010, 11:25:12 PM
We may have better luck with advertising on Anarchy In Your Head. It might be rather expensive though.

(Sent a short email to the author about it)
