501  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: DITO stocks - dapat ba mag invest na DITO? on: October 17, 2020, 04:49:20 AM

The more coverage, the more ang kita nila which means more investors ang makukuha nila.

502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: the cheater bounty participants began to act again on: October 16, 2020, 03:48:13 AM
I think the only way to avoid cheaters from stealing account is to make the users post one more authentication in their social media accounts.

It would be much faster if people post their username or authentication post number from btt to their social media then add that to their authentication post in btt to make sure that this is their account, that way bounty campaign managers can be sure that applicants are really owning their social media accounts and not just stolen.

Users should also add their post from social media that authenticates their btt account in every post of proof of work so that way cheaters will have no way to steal accounts.

Now you are asking "what if they want to hide their btt account from the public?", can't be helped since bounty hunters are already making themselves known to the public by using their social media accounts to bounty hunt here. Also, it's not like the majority of the bounty hunters are using their "real" social media accounts anyway.

Just a suggestion though.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Will UNISWAP become a centralized exchange? on: October 16, 2020, 02:46:21 AM
I think UNISWAP is going to be like Etherdelta who's purpose is to provide decentralized exchange for DeFi projects. UNISWAP is built that way and this is what the users want. I don't know about this debates about it being centralized but if they go that way, they will lose a lot customers who relies on dex and other competition might seize the place of UNISWAP.
504  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Bagong Digital Telco Gomo PH on: October 15, 2020, 07:36:03 AM

505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Enpugh is enough time Truth about btc on: October 15, 2020, 04:32:26 AM
I noticed that some of the posts of the OP are not really making sense. I don't know why he's doing that but I think he needs to take time to contemplate on things and get a grip on reality. Is he just posting for fun? I don't think he aimed to get serious discussion out of his random ideas. Just my 2 cents. So let's just ignore what he posted here.  Tongue

If you look at the economics thread, you can see that OPs threads is everywhere and I agree that most of his threads are either nonsense or confusing the community so I don't know how this guy isn't banned yet.

It's clear that he is trolling and having fun at that. He probably loves the attention since he's getting laugh at most of the time.
506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hardware Cryptowallet with Fingerprint Authorization on: October 15, 2020, 04:10:11 AM
It's pretty cheap for a new innovation like this so there must be a catch to this, or they are just trying to advertise this new system to the masses as much as possible by making it cheaper than most hardware wallet.

I'm kinda wondering about the security though. What can the users do if the handprint is compromised.
507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on recent move of 1000 coins mined back in 2010? on: October 13, 2020, 08:02:41 AM
Coins mined in 2010 or 2020 doesn't have any real difference, infact 1000 bitcoins in 2010 is nit really a huge amount so someone mined that coin and went to come suddenly he woke up and see what lottery he got just for doing some little thing years back.Just another news to speculate about the bitcoin and nothing more. Anyway there was 2% hike in the price in the last few hiurs so that news affected in the positive way.

That's right. I don't know how people is correlating this to being bullish and now investors are taking analyst seriously and buying Bitcoin in short term. This is just like one of those "Finding their old wallets from their old hard drives and viola they are rich now" stories and that doesn't mean they will be able to control the market price especially that 1000 can't be compared to whales who owns thousands of Bitcoin.
508  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: DITO stocks - dapat ba mag invest na DITO? on: October 12, 2020, 03:55:56 AM

Edit: Baka dahil sa new partnership nila https://www.developingtelecoms.com/telecom-business/operator-news/10097-dito-selects-partner-for-philippines-rollout.html. Nakalagay din dyan yung operation date nila which is march 2021.
Maybe new opportunities like new business ventures ang ma open ng dahil ng dito. Good news nga talaga ito kasi it also serves as a marketing sa mga kababayan nating pinoy.

This was the sad truth. Marami pa rin ang nabibiktima sa mga ganitong modus and I wonder really why. Because the there are hints already dun sa offer kaya masasabi mong scam talaga sya; like the $6000 per month. That's what I'm always talking about my colleagues as well as the newbies in B&H section na nacucurious sa mga nagsusulputang investment platforms kuno sa FB — if it's too good to be true then stop it.

511  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Another Pinoy Vlogger Channel hacked after Dogie's case, Ripple Involved on: October 08, 2020, 02:22:26 AM
Another update:

Also, some of you here already mentioned what's happening behind the scene so be careful to those aspiring influencer here.to

As you can see in the picture, yung naka-live ay related sa XRP. We all know na wala namang kinalaman ang crypto sa mga nagaganap dito dahil posibleng binayaran ang hacker para mag-promote ng crypto sa isang sikat na channel.

bump~

Baka i-isang tao o grupo lang din ang may gawa nito at most likely na they have a lot of compromised accounts na waiting lang until tapos na sila sa isang account kasi sunod sunod ang nangyari at pinoy pa.
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finally!! McAfee is arrested in Spain and now facing extradition on: October 07, 2020, 09:17:22 AM
Lol and here I thought he finally got arrested because of some stupid shits he did (like wearing a pantie as mask). At least one shiller is out of the crypto space for good. This news will probably plummet his reputation (don't know if there's anything left anyway though).

Some people are happy coz he got arrested because they lost money in the scam ICOs he promoted, that's all.
I also invested in SETHER but I am neither happy nor sad, simple I don't care anymore, the past is the past.

I still remember when he predicted that verge would reach 15$ then goes back on his words after dumping. I got to admit that I was one of those fools who bought too.
513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trump gets Covid and we Crash? on: October 06, 2020, 01:38:31 AM
I have looking for an enlightenment on how Trump Covid situation is affecting the crypto market and making it to have a sharp crash.

I don't know too. As far as I can see, if people like this one in the article "https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/stocks/stock-market-trump-coronavirus-positive-investment-chief-hedging-volatility-strategy-2020-10-1029644348#" starts spreading FUD to crash the stock market, it might be a possibility that investors will transition to invest in cryptocurrency.

But it's still funny because one trivial matter and people starts spreading FUD, HYPE, FOMO to manipulate the market and in order for people like Mcdonald to fool the masses and enhance his portfolio profits.
514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: P2P Bitcoin Volume Hitting All-Time Highs on: October 06, 2020, 01:19:01 AM
Just because BTC P2P trading volume has reached ATH in countries like Philippines,Nigeria,India,Ghana and South Africa, that doesn't mean that Bitcoin will reach it's new ATH soon.

It's still good to see that other countries besides the large countries is showing the adoption rate of Bitcoin being spread out and being developed which is always a good thing even though it won't really pump the price of Bitcoin, Bitcoins price comes later. Unless you want a pump and dump scenario to always take places.
515  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Bagong Digital Telco Gomo PH on: October 05, 2020, 03:55:42 AM
Sa globe kasi yung Go90 nila is 8gb for 1 week, so in 3 weeks 270 pesos at 24gb.

516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Elon Musk fake giveaway. on: October 03, 2020, 03:40:33 AM
They didn't even try at all! it's 1000x worst than the latest Elon fake giveaway. At least the last time it was a real account that that gave the tweet. I don't know how people will fall for this since the last twitter giveaway scam was fairly recent. But what do I know? I've already seen the stupidity of some so there's probably victims already.
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Ripple (XRP) might be the future of digital payments on: September 30, 2020, 10:09:48 AM
There's already a lot of ways for people to use centralized digital payment besides XRP, so what's with XRP being the future? is it because the fee is cheap and it's fast? the same can be said with other digital payments. I don't know why this coin is even called decentralized when in fact it's the most centralized project at all. Not to mention that a lot of countries are creating or planning to create their own stablecoins which means the use of XRP will be hindered because of this.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My take on DeFi bounties on: September 30, 2020, 07:39:29 AM
You are not wrong though. DeFi hype is like the second coming of ICO which means a lot of investors will flock in it like a bird and scammers will take advantage of this. There's been cases projects exiting the market lately (like this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5278771.0) and this will most likely continue until the hype settled down.
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BOUNTY HUNTERS: THE CARRIER OF ALL BLAMES IN NEW CRYPTO PROJECTS' PRICE DUMP on: September 29, 2020, 08:42:05 AM
Well, we can't do anything about it. Bounty hunters are treated slaves and doesn't have any privilege in this forum so they will most likely be the blame for the market dump. Though this is a fact in some ways because usually, markets doesn't have large volumes at start to support the massive rewards of the bounty hunters so bounty hunters who dumps have an impact in the market, and there's a lot of them.

Nonetheless, people are forgetting the fact that without promoters, investors wouldn't know their project in the first place.
520  Other / Archival / Re: [DeFi EXIT SCAM] HATCH DAO on: September 29, 2020, 05:43:07 AM
It's ironic how they promote themselves as "immutable" and named themselves TrustSwap yet they can't prevent this kind of things and cannot be trusted at all. I'm suspicious about this because they suddenly removed their traces in the internet.  They might be part of the recent scam as they allowed the scammers to do this.
