501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A banking app helped me beat my addiction on: January 08, 2019, 05:51:03 PM
It is crazy to see what gambling addiction can do to someone lookong at his story. Addiction is actually one hard thing to get out from and to know an app can really be of help is quite amazing. What do you think?
Yes, gambling addiction is that much cruel and I'm challenging that you cannot imagine how it could be. If you look into the problems of those addicted gamblers facing in their day today life then probably you will get chances to realize their world of problems. Literally, gambling addiction is slowly killing their happier life and pushing them into darkness of underworld. Here more pathetic part is, even they want to get rid of their addictions, they are unable to achieve that themselves.

This is the reason why external helps are always effective. There will be no wonder when some app is capable of deviating their focus and engaging them into new things so that they could be slowly recovering from their addictions. It is possible but only if gamblers are agreeing to cooperate. Without their cooperation, it may lead to further collapse.
502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I LOST OVER 10 BTC IN GAMBLING IN 2018 on: January 08, 2019, 05:19:12 PM
i want to know did you make profit in gambling or lost and i know 99% people lost their money in gambling
You never need to know that what other gamblers are doing with their gambling because everyone is doing what you have just done in 2018. There will be no exceptions with the anyone's gambling. I'm very much sure about that.

Gambling is only for fun not a way to make money what you think Gamblers Wink
You learned this after spending 10 BTC ? I believe this is not too late. Because, some people would never find opportunities to learn this lesson even after spending 100 BTC (given that they are able to spend that much). you learned your lesson at least now in my view so that you can save your future losses and you can recover your losses in some other businesses. Please never ever try to recover your losses in gambling.

Always Gamble what you afford to Lose Don't Give up LOL
I assume your affordable amount is 20 BTC and you have spent half of that and now you started suggesting to other gamblers not to spend their committed money Grin. Every gambler wants to learn their own lesson by spending their own hard earned money. We cannot do anything for that.
503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [freebitco.in] so it is possible to hit 9999 and win ~500000 satoshi on: January 08, 2019, 04:48:08 PM
Congratulations for getting that "highly anticipated" number.

I had rolled many times the numbers between 9886 - 9985 and got 10x of basic rewards and never thought about going beyond that. Many people here have complained about their auto bot dicing like it is a rigged one. But, I am not finding any big differences from any other gambling sites. After, seeing your winning, I believe some people may change their opinion.

as a holder of bitcoin i am glad that it happened near the bottom of current downtrend of bitcoin so i had the chance of winning a bigger price compared to when it was higher.... to the moon... Grin
You are really impressing with your perspectives. After they had reduced the default winning amount from $0.002 prices, I slowly started not showing big interests on rolling with them every hour. But, now I am getting new force to try out my luck without missing any roll on my day time.

It is said that Hoiberg has been in talks with wolves and that is why Thibs got fired this quickly right after a win. They agreed with Hoiberg on principal and the money was alright so they are willing to fire Thibs and get him. If Hoiberg gets hired in the upcoming days we will know that Hoiberg was already in talks with twolves before they fired Thibs.

On which ,I assume is the normal how things run around there, after all they couldn't just fire Thibs before knowing who they want to hire, they had to talk with someone and make sure they have a backup plan in case Thibs could be gone. I think it could be a kidd-bud type of difference.

Last year bucks played insane minutes and players were really not happy with how things were going but in the end they got bud and fired kidd and now they are much better. Hoiberg would probably make them less minutes and players careers will be prolonged since they won't be playing 38+ minutes per game.
505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: January 08, 2019, 02:44:29 PM
Real has nothing to worry about they are just couple points behind champions league level.

They were much much worse at the start of the season but they are doing better now. One loss means nothing when there is still 15+ games to be played. I think the bigger problem is all coaches that had talks with real Madrid wanted to get a center back and wanted to bench Ramos for some reason, not because Ramos is a bad player, who can you buy that is better than Ramos?

It would be really difficult to bag someone like Dijk or similar levels so it must mean Ramos has been a cancer locker room guy, these dudes must be ganging up on the managers and making the life much harder for them. If any new manager comes to real Madrid and benches Ramos there would be a riot in the team which it shouldn't because a manager can bench anyone they want.

As long as real Madrid doesn't get rid of this issue and fix the players not ganging up together they will face with horrible future results and can say goodbye to winning the league for years until its resolved.
506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the king of all altcoins on: January 08, 2019, 02:12:12 PM
many say that ethereum is the king of all altcoins. maybe because a lot of bounty tokens use the ethereum platform. but has anyone ever think, if ethereum is king, it should be able to control the altcoin price, like bitcoin can control the altcoin price. What do you think ?
You got a point still they are exchanges which are listing altcoin pairs with ethereum as base currency. It means ethereum is also deciding the price of those altcoins as per your perspective view. Still, I just wonder deciding the worth of one coin will qualify a base currency as the king ?

The king is facing down fall right now due to various rumors about its hardfork moreover the exact reason for downfall is not clear yet.

Altcoin industry is older as bitcoin, it means it is already 10 years of old. But ethereum was introduced just 2 to 3 years back only. Before ethereum litecoin was having the highest value among major altcoins. But I was not seeing any discussion at those times like claiming litecoins as the king ? Moreover, these are all just what people are claiming themselves and it has nothing to do with the development or markets of altcoins nor with ethereum's ecosystem too.
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Hodling Coins!!! on: January 08, 2019, 12:37:56 PM
I, personally believe on holding system most specially if the tokens I hold is the right one. There are shitcoins that can possibly lead you into devastating ending.
I just wonder how you are trusting tokens for long term holding. This is highly dangerous if you believe into a random thing because as per many veteran people of this forum bitcoin kind of highly reputed assets alone good for long term holding. Even some coins and tokens are seeming promising but anything might happen because we cannot depending on a team of dev to be  continuously developing those coins/tokens. I mean to say most of the coins and tokens are not working as per the decentralized concepts but bitcoin alone works as per the consensus to make any changes/upgrades.

Shitcoin doesn't have any good chance to recover again. They are the dead coins that hopeless forever. Hold the right coins and trade when the perfect time comes.
I suspect most of the new coins and token will become shitcoin over the time. If you go for analyzing by the year of 2013/2014, lot of new altcoins had been created after bitcoin hit $1200 but 99% of them not surviving till now. This is just an example what is going to happen to the most of the currently existing tokens. Because, after a heavy dumping most of the devs are not preferring to continue with a project.

A news a while ago releases that DX. Exchange plans to offer digital versions of big U.S. stocks. Others believe that this is the beginning of the traditional market’s merge with blockchain technology but some people thinks about it in a negative way. What are your thoughts about this news?  Huh
I think the biggest selling point of this idea would be the globalization. Even tough it is really difficult not to invest into anything worldwide when you have a lot of money, it is quite difficult to invest into stuff when you have just couple thousand dollars.

Someone from France investing into USA stocks at about 100-200 dollars capital would have a lot of hard time finding the right place to do so. With this technology just like how we managed to find a way to send each other 5 dollars for couple of cents transaction fee, it will be same for stocks, someone from south Africa sending 5 dollars to someone in Australia is incredibly easy in crypto whereas quite difficult in traditional systems.

Same applies here in stocks, someone from South Africa to buy stocks of an Australian company is quite hard right now, at least hard if you are not spending 25 thousand dollars, this way you can spend 25 dollars and get 3 stocks of an Australian company easily. Crypto and blockchain just makes globalization incredibly easy.
509  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It is not your fault that you are loosing in trading! on: January 07, 2019, 04:48:13 PM
Maybe some bigger coins too? I mean definitely go for bitcoin because that is the most healthy one and definitely not losing the top spot anytime soon but ethereum and ripple doesn't look like they are going anywhere neither. I would say capital is useless without investment.

People who are rich and wealthy do not become rich because they posses money only, they are rich because they own stuff that makes money for them. That is why capital would mean nothing in the future whereas your investments could mean a lot of money. Warren Buffett didn't became wealthy by just accumulating money, he invested that money into companies he believed would go high and he was right. Be the warren buffet of your life and invest into stuff that you think would make you money in the future.
510  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to enter a perfect trade and stop being a loser. on: January 07, 2019, 02:26:22 PM
You do not even have to understand charts to understand where bitcoin rallies and where bitcoin drops at this stage. We have seen bitcoin moving to same prices over and over again so many times that anyone that sells at 4200 will profit when the price goes down and anyone buying at 3600 will be profiting.

I did it twice already and made a decent profit back, 4200 was the top it can see and I realized it at third time price went down after reaching 4200, so I said next time I see 4200 I will sell, also when the price hits 3600 its harder to go back down and usually goes higher so I said I will buy next time it hits 3600. So last time it hit 4200 I sold all my coins and I rebought it at around 3740 (couldn't wait until 3600 Cheesy ) and now I am in profit, that was without bitcoin going up, with this new 4000+ I am in even bigger profit. Never looked at any charts neither, was just too obvious.
511  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Tricks For Newbies on: January 07, 2019, 07:34:42 AM
when do you know if its the dip or it will continue to drop? it takes a lot of experience in reading charts and graphs to determine one and its very risky.
I believe no one will be able to predict the accurate point of dips and that is the reason experts are always suggesting to go for buying at a regular intervals so that you will never miss the exact dip levels. Yes, we need to buy at regular intervals so that definitely we can catch some dips. It means we should never go for investing all our money in one single shot.

Another is timing and emotion is very important when you buy during the dip. People tends to panic when they see a huge dip already and might sell off when they feel its hopeless.
Controlling emotion and waiting for market to cope up, is just a part of basic essentials to get into trading. When we are not ready with this part of emotion control then it should be always better to stay away from trading. Because, we cannot assume when we will be having market to go as per our expectation then it is always good to control our emotions so that waiting for right market will not be a problem.
512  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I bet it all in bitcoin? on: January 07, 2019, 06:56:21 AM
I don't see anything wrong with going all in on bitcoin. I think we have seen the worse days of market in December 2018 and believe the worse days are behind us and we are  about to witness the full recovery of the market.
You are just talking about the current situation of the market and investing all into bitcoin right now may be the right option but it cannot be an universal suggestion with respect to bitcoin investment for ever. Even for current times, we cannot be sure about those worse days will not be repeating again in 2019 but, if you are able to withstand any further fall down then you may go for bitcoin with all your capitals. But my suggestion is, you may go for bitcoins with all your capital but you should look for long term like 2020 or even further.

The risk is huge and so we must scale very well the amount we have to lose, not to fall into the fallacy of trying to solve life with a single shot.
If you had asked for any other investment then I will definitely say "a big no". But you are asking about bitcoin investment then I will be suggesting to go for it but you should be ready to wait for some infinite period also. Yes, for long term only you can go for bitcoin with all your capitals.
513  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders, what are your views in 2019. on: January 06, 2019, 03:47:46 PM
I can't say 2019 will be a better year or a great year, I can not see the future but I can tell you just one thing for sure and that is all these people keep saying "good bye btc" are quite wrong. It is as wrong as saying earth is 6000 years old. There is literally nothing you can say that could be as wrong as that in crypto.

You can say bitcoin will be 10 dollars or 10 million dollars each and both would be more sane than saying bitcoin will be gone. Bitcoin has been here for 10 years now and this is the best year we ever had if you look at what the lowest it was, if you look at highest it is still one of the top 3 as well. Hence just looking at the drop with a blind eye is a very wrong approach and it will be the end of some traders to be honest with you. Hopefully we will have a better year and all these naysayers will be gone by then.
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: January 06, 2019, 01:57:14 PM
I think part of the reason why Giannis is playing so beastly is that the team is finally built around his talents. Jason Kidd was just trying to force the team into playing like he wants them to play. Bud instead makes the team play the way they want to play, that is the biggest difference.

Brook Lopez for example is a big that can shoot threes a lot better than many bigs in the league and when he is outside that means someone has to go outside to defend him and it can't be a small dude so he leaves an opennes inside for Giannis to go in, same with Middleton and others, when you have shooters outside it is impossible to stack your defenders inside so they take advantage of Giannis moving in, if people collapse on him, he can dish outside.

Sometimes they don't and he has 43 points like this. Plus Lopez not rebounding too much and instead focusing on offensive side helps Giannis to have 18 rebound type of games. This team is probably the best Giannis could hope for.
515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: January 05, 2019, 07:44:29 PM
I don't think Spurs is that kind of organization. Cavs took Lebron back because he is Lebron and Cavs were horrible after he left and when he came back he had Kyrie and love with him so of course Cavs took him in. Spurs have 5 rings in the past two decades or so and they are still fighting for playoffs and a decent team, with one more star they could be really fighting for a title, they don't really need Kawhi, hell Kawhi needed them more than they needed Kawhi to begin with.

Look at the rosters, normally they are quite head to head except for Kawhi vs Derozan where most people would say Kawhi is better but Derozan has been helping his team in many more areas than Kawhi. If Kawhi would ever say he is sorry and he wants to come back to Spurs and wants to be back with the spurs family, I am sure they wouldn't mind but he needs to come back as a "sorry for that" and not like Lebrons "I am back so you should be happy about it" type of deal.
516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 05, 2019, 07:04:59 PM
Brighton should not be a challenge for Liverpool at all, no matter where they play, they could play in north Korea and have a possibility of nuclear war if they lose and still win easily without an effort. I know they got beaten this week but a team that has only ONE loss all year is not going to leave any points at the table against a team like Brighton.

It would be really weird, this is soccer after all and stranger things have happened (looking at you Leicester) but at this stage unless they make a huge mistake its an easy win for both teams. On the other side United really needs to win this game, they are on a roll right now and if they can win this it would mean they will fight for the top (not top 2) however if they lose it would set them back a bit once again.
517  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It is not your fault that you are loosing in trading! on: January 05, 2019, 05:45:19 PM
This is exactly what I have been trying to tell people! Your experience and expertise doesn't matter in bitcoin, you can be an amazing trader, you have no fault in the trading because there are things that nobody expects happening in bitcoin. How could anyone have guessed someone would sell a ton of bitcoin all at once when Craig did it, everything looked like bitcoin price was bound to go up and 6.5 thousand looked like the minimum bitcoin will be and it was all sunshine however one unexpected thing led to another and here we are the price is low.

Nobody, not even warren buffet could make great trades too many times in a row in bitcoin. A friend of mine turned 0.7 bitcoins into 40 bitcoins and lost about 15 bitcoins recently, he is still in profit but even the best traders will lose money eventually because unexpected things keep happening in this space.
518  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: “Turtle Trading strategy” implementations on: January 04, 2019, 07:28:58 PM
I know this piece is more about "what" trutle trading strategy is instead of how it started but I can't really go beyond that part. First of all these people were given a method that would probably yield them profits unless something unthinkable happens. Hence they were suppose to follow an order and make money with that strict line given to them.

Lets take a look at the candidates, a black jack master is a guy who can read cards and numbers to do card counting to beat the house and gain house edge, with that in mind he needs to perfect his skills and strictly follow the card counting rules, perfect for this type of job, dungeons and dragons DM is a guy who writes these kinds of amazing stories and lines and make others follow the path without really going above or below the game limits, perfect again, air force pilot drives a plane that's multi-million sometimes goes into hundreds of millions of dollars worth, he needs to know his plane so well that even what could go wrong needs to be in his mind, amazing candidate, former pianist is someone who mastered piano on which keys do what and what you click gives what sound and memorize the notes and songs and so forth, again amazing.

Basically they picked candidates that worked all their lives on perfecting something that needs to be followed stirctly just like trading, they knew who they were hiring and not people who are emotional about stuff.
519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 04, 2019, 06:22:16 PM
Am I the only one that though game was a bit too "rigid" (for lack of a better word) or is it just me? I mean don't get me wrong we still saw the great players doing what they do best but it felt like all 22 people hold back a bit instead of going all out. We know what they are capable of when they use 100% of their power and talents and this felt like a bit... bland.

Firmino has been on a great roll lately and made another goal today, he really knows where to be and when to be there, if we were playing Football Manager I would expect 20 positioning skills. Salah didn't do that much but he was still a presence and that that "gravity" to him. That first "goal" of Liverpool should have been given, I can't really see a millimeter of the ball on the line but that "all of the ball should leave the line" BS seems to be getting worse each year, I understand not half of it gone but it was just a tiiiiny fraction if even that much on the line. Sane was amazing once again, I love that man, he is both incredibly fast and also has insane ball control.
