501  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is Best Trading or Freelancing? on: July 14, 2020, 09:01:10 PM
I agree, Trading is way better than Freelancing. Imagine how much you can earn in trading rather than freelancing. And the experience you get in trading you can't forget. the worst and the best. but if you are a busy guy who just want quick easy money the i guess freelancing is one of the ways to go.

You forgot to say that in trading you can lose to and trading is not for everyone.
Yes, you might make more money but the risk is bigger and your final score depends on many factors. Freelancing is not so profitable but it's more secure, especialy on long term. To choose what is better depends on every individual and his preferences and skills, there is no general judgement which one is better.
502  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think the price of Bitcoin can exceed 10 thousand dollars at the present on: July 14, 2020, 08:13:09 PM
To my opinion it's possible but not very likely at this moment. Even if the price goes up to 10000$ it's hard that will stay there or even go further. So, at present I don't expect some significant price changes and no some special growth, it's more likely that the price will stay in current range for longer period of time. I know that many are eager to finaly see some price movements towards 10000$ and beyond, some excitement but I don't think now it's the moment.
503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how big? on: July 14, 2020, 05:43:54 PM
Can we just discuss the market size not the gambling addiction or anything related to that?

The size of the whole community of crypto casino is already that much big specially at this time that casinos are temporarily closed and people have no choice and if they wanted to play gambling, they will be just dropping by any online crypto casino for a much more convenient gaming experience even players are jus staying at home.

That article is not already surprising because there are lots of cases that lose of money is associated on playing in a crypto casino. That amount stated on the article is not that big if you will compare it into the whole loss being recorded while playing in a crypto casino. That is amount is really massive indeed but just for the individual loss of the player. If you will be better think of it, it is just a part of the big community that crypto casino have. It will just continue to expand as long as there are players that are being encourage playing on this platform so such loss will be stated to be a small part of it.

I think we can all agree that crypto-gambling capitalization is higher every year. The prices of some crypto-currencies are high,
and early adopters have advantage here, with coins they bought cheap now they are high-rollers. They can gamble with high
amounts, amounts we can't even imagine.
Crypto-gambling will grow more, this is just a beginning. Many people see how better it is, easier, and more private, many gamblers
seek for privacy.

That is true, crypto gambling capitalization is on the rise. However, I'm not sure about the structure of players. Early adopter have certain advantage but I'm not sure how many of them spend accumulated funds in casinos. Not all of them have these gambling feature and the real amount of crypto that is gambling system could be just approximately estimated but exact figures is hard to define.
504  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we headed for 250k btc in 12-18 months? on: July 14, 2020, 01:18:42 PM
It's such a silly prediction about the price movement that is actually not worth of comment.
People use wishful thinking to predict the price and then come to such exaggerated values that don't have any real justification in anything. So, dream on...
505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Limited escrow service for building self discipline. on: July 14, 2020, 11:17:10 AM
Personally, I don't have an escrow agent to help me to manage the money that I used to gamble because so far, I can handle myself without any problem. I can stop playing gambling whenever I want because I know that in gambling, the emotion will take part, including greediness, because of winning the games. But maybe that can help other members who need help from the escrow agent or members who use too big money to gamble. Make sure you can select the recommended escrow agent to handle your money.

This just shows that you have good self control and that you are not addicted to gambling. I'm in the similar situation so I don't need someone who will tell me how much I can spend.
Unfortunately, some gamblers have serious issues with that and can't recgonize the signs that they might be in financial troubles because of excesive gambling. In that situation escrow agent might help.
506  Economy / Economics / Re: Government+cryptocurrencies on: July 13, 2020, 05:02:18 PM
The world would have been much better if educated people were chosen as politicians and the countries would be run by them. Sadly that is not the case in most countries. Hence educating them is not really an option unless them themselves understand the importance.

I think the most important thing to be a leader is a virtuous character. Skill, insight, skills, and experience can be upgraded while character, habits, and mindset are very difficult to change. An honest and responsible leader will choose ministers and advisers who are loyal, honest, and highly dedicated to the people. And the important thing is a leader must have a high spirit of nationalism and firmness and focus on thinking about the interests of citizens not the interests of political parties or personal interests. With a firm attitude, idealism will be maintained and not be swayed by oligarchs and plutocrats.

If the politicians were all that, highly educated, dedicated to the people and community and focused to.solve the problems of their community then this world would be ideal place.
We all know that isn't so and they usualy put their own interests first. Yes, it's the question of mindset too but if you look politicians all around the world they are pretty much the same. I don't think that education of politicians can help but education of people who elect them can.
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which website do you usually go to get your news and casino reviews? on: July 13, 2020, 01:15:36 PM
To be honest, I stick to bitcointalk. Gambling section is very informative and lot of information and experiences could be found here. Of course, some selection is needed but still it could be very useful.
So far I haven't found any quality site to get information about gambling, casinos etc.so I'm also interested if someone has something like that to share with others.
508  Economy / Speculation / Re: TA indicates a bull run is coming on: July 13, 2020, 11:47:19 AM
TA isn't fully reliable and often it could be interpreted in different ways. Based on techical analysis you can't predict bull run, unless that calls wishfull.thinking.
TA is just a help tool but not something that could help to predict price movements and something your decisions should be based, don't give too much significance to it.
509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A treatise on privacy on: July 13, 2020, 09:54:54 AM
So for me, this privacy feature of bitcoin is really taking us off-track than bringing us on-track where we can see organic growth among the legal merchants and users. Really sad to see!

How exactly does it negatively impact adoption though? If merchants and users were such puritans to refuse to use Bitcoin because criminals use, they also wouldn't use cash and some of the biggest banks too. The real problems that stop adoption are giant price volatility, lack of scalability, lack of regulation, complex user experience. Besides, darknet criminals have been switching to Monero for a long time already.

I also don't understand the point.
Yes, at the very begininig Bitcoin had negative reputation because of use on dark web but I thought we got that over. Monero is number one criminal currency that is true.
But I don't think that any cryptocurrency shouldn't have negative reputation because of illegal use because this is not worse compared to fiat currencies. It sedme that everyone forgets money laundering and other criminal activities done by fiat and they don't mind using it.
510  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Signal Trading work for Cryptocurrencies on: July 12, 2020, 07:48:56 PM
For me trading signals will only affect the results of our own analysis, sometimes trading signals make us suffer a lot of losses.
I have often joined many trading signal groups on telegrams, from free to premium. But all trading signals have in common that
is beneficial to the owner of the group, because he had already bought coins that will pump. So when the members buy the price
not long ago immediately dump, because the group owner has taken profit first.

You've made the point. The only personal who has any use of signal group is its owner. Many people are not familiar with that and they think such signal groups will help them make the profit but that is in fact illusion.
I know that many are looking for shortcuts in trading that will help them make profit fast and they think signal groups might be one of such shortcuts but trust me success doesn't come easy and over night.
511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Opinion Needed] What do you want to see in a gambling site review? on: July 12, 2020, 07:00:20 PM
For me it's very important to see reviews about safety and security, legitimacy and customers support. Also, KYC requirements and procedure.
I'd also like to see something about general experience of users then bonuses, available payment methods, currencies accepted and of course variety of games that are offered. It's preferable is reviews could be checked, so that I know that they arw real gamblers experiences, not faked ones.
512  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Keeping it's limitaion Between 9--10K on: July 12, 2020, 02:32:53 PM
It's hard to say that this is the limitation but Bitcoin keeps this price range more than 3 months.
Even when the 10000$ barrier was broken it didn't last for long. Many expected strong price rise afzer the halving but that didn't happen either.
To my opinion pricr range between 9000$ and 10000$ will continue to hold for longer period of time, maybe even all the way to the.end of the year so I don't expect to see some bigger changes.
513  Economy / Economics / Re: Rise in US unemployment. Thoughts? on: July 12, 2020, 12:19:14 PM
US is not the only country that faces with rise of uneployment rate. Due to lockdown because of pandemic economy and businesses are having really hard times amd many companies don't need so many workers anymore. Unfortunately it seems that situation with unemployememt is getting worse.
Like many other countries US will also need nore time to recover and until that unemployment will rise. That might lead to very bad social situation, big number of poor people, possible riots and similar.
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots are better than Dice. on: July 12, 2020, 10:27:43 AM
I think that is just the matter of taste. For same gamblers dice are boring and slots more excited and vice versa. But from play point of view or some special strategy there isn't much difference.
For me it just depends on the mood, sometimes I'm more for dice and sometimes more for slots.
515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be the ideal currency of the future? on: July 12, 2020, 07:11:40 AM
Bitcoin is currently, partly the most ideal currency. For some people who looking for privacy and security it's the most ideal idea because, I guess that's the goal of Bitcoin, For people who usually transfer a huge a amount of money And for people like me who don't like the normal back accounts because of the corrupted banking systems and printing money all the time. These are benefits of Bitcoin for people and depends how and where you use it. But, for small transactions requiring higher speeds, Bitcoin is still not that much ideal. However there can be a solution for this problem in near future.
Also, regarding to hash encryption, I guess SHA256 is already strong enough for now can years later, however the security can be upgraded for the future usage.

Bitcoin is still far away from ideal currency. Yes, you described its benefits which are true but there are also many limitations.  Like high volatility, low adoption, lack of regulation. Because all of that you can't rely only on Bitcoin but you actually need to use sone others m currencies, fiat currencies, to be able to cover all needs in your real life.
Maybe in the future that will change and Bitcoin will go through certain kind of upgrade to become more ideal. But in general words, nothing in life is ideal.
516  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial Crisis Will Come on: July 11, 2020, 07:21:30 PM
If we are going to put basis on the pandemic, i am sure that we can say that there will be an incoming finanacial crisis, i believe that the effect of the pandemic is worst and we can maybe still feel the crisis next year, we need to be more practical and patience this time for we can help the government solve the pandemic.

The pandemic bring economic crisis with it and was that the crisis which everyone was talking about ? Or will there is another big financial crisis which will come in near future ?
Another World War could trigger another financial crisis, I don't think of any other cause of next financial and economic crisis.

The world cannot take any more financial crisis now because this pandemic has already pushed us back and many people are finding it difficult to even survive. Many have lost their jobs; small shops are facing the financial crunch and economy has already falling. So hope this all comes to end quickly and good times begin again.

I'm not so sure that will end so soon, I think that we are actually at the begininig.
Financial crisis was predicted long time ago and this pandemic just made things worse, more deep.and more global. In many countries crisis hasn't even strated fully and like you've said so many people have already lost their jobs and many companies and businesses are not doing well. To be honest I'm afraid what is yet to come by the end of the year.
517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best welcome offer for you? on: July 11, 2020, 05:10:00 PM
I liked all the welcome offers, as long as there weren't any strings attached.

Of course, most have conditions and restrictions and whatnot, and I usually stay away from them
But I did find some casinos that really just give you some deposit that you can just keep if you want / free rolls etc.

can i check that site your saying ? give me links here or pm if it include a referal link  . im looking for that kind of site too but i havent found one yet so far . all the sites that im playing with have a requirement before you can claim your reward and i kinda figure it out that its not worth it but i just play the normal way  . welcome bonus does depend too , usually free rolls are for slots but on non slots game they will credit some few coins instead for you to play or test thier site

Seems that many players are attracted to certain casinos based on different rewards and welcome bonuses. For above mentioned site I'm interested too.
But I would like to see some figures about that how many gamblers then stay loyal to these casinos. Do majority of gamblers stay as long as they are able to use rewards and then go further for another reward or they become more regular.
518  Economy / Economics / Re: How long will it take banks to phase out physical cash completely? on: July 11, 2020, 10:55:42 AM
This pandemic speeds up some processes of digital transformaton and I think we are getting closer to cashless society.
But to my opinion isn't not up to banks but up to people, their clients. We still have rather high demand for cash, especialy among older population and in underdeveloped countries. So, banks has the eyes in.the market and they can't deprive clients from something they want. However, I think that in the next five years we might live in cashless society.
519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your favorite crypto for gambling? on: July 11, 2020, 09:38:31 AM
I stick to Bitcoin. It's the most trusted and most reliable cryptocurrency for me, it's accepted everywhere so I don't experiment  I don't like using altcoins and often fees are bigger than for Bitcoin.
Everyone has its own preferences and players often makr decisions based on transactions fees and volatility but I think that Bitcoin is on the top of gambling cryptos.
520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everyone should read this Bitcoiner's story on: July 11, 2020, 06:25:19 AM
A good read indeed.

It was a worth it journey for him but if he's not that too hard-working and persistent, nothing will happen to him. With the last word he said about bitcoin changing lives, well, everybody here can connect.

Exactly, I think that everyone of us here have some experiences where Bitcoin changed our lives, it's universal story.
This is once again a proof that being hard working and persistant pays out sooner or later. So, never give up Bitcoin no matter how hard sometimes might seem.
