"Next level", when PayPal accepts it maybe ?
It goes to the next level when people use it not because it is "rising in value", but when they agree that it is better than cash.
Finally, it shall go even one step further when people use it because it is easier to use than cash.
But the most important thing is, Bitcoin may not reach any of these heights. Bitcoin may go further, or Bitcoin may die soon (the govts. involved are quite powerful).

So the service section is becoming like a porn section now.
Just want to see some of your opinions on this.
My concern is for youngsters like CrackedLogic who is younger the 18.
Should there not be a sub-section in the service area or something?
Like NSFW section?
Anyway. Like to hear your views on this.
Yeah, no. I'm not sure if this is a passive-aggressive attack on CrackedLogic, but I'm pretty sure this game is not meant for kids. These services die out very quickly, and creating a section would legitimize and popularize them further. I'm pretty sure what you are saying will just bring about more spam/scam cam sites.

Do not join this campaign, I was just speaking with the admin of the site to confirm my suspicions. If you join the campaign you're risking having negative feedback applied to your account for advertising a scam.
That is honestly the best idea ever. A mob of people on the trusted list should give anybody attempting to advertise a Ponzi instant negative trust, killing all these new Ponzi signature campaigns.

maybe you could say hi and strike up a conversation?
never mind this is a crazy idea. it's best just to keep buying bitcoins like everyone suggests
Mhm, why try to talk to people when you can get a bazillion dollars of bitcoins from hodling and buy people ?

Any way to quickly convert this to different time zones? Any websites which I can enter unix time as a list and it will return the time zone I specify or something similar?
Implemented ! On the top of the screen is a "Time zone" that anyone can access and edit. The format needs to be "HH:MM:SS.mmm", where HH is hour, MM is minute, SS is second, and mmm is millisecond. If you need to, for example, convert to GMT -8, you need to make it -08:00:00.000

Highlighting edited stuff is almost impossible to do.
How do you display if someone has removed info ? What if they have done multiple edits ? What if they edit once adding one paragraph, and edit a second time adding just one word ?
An edit history sounds nice in theory, but would get clunky too.
So honestly, I doubt this will work.

2- It will create more spam. On reddit, where comments are well sorted, it's okay. But what happens when a hundred people send 100 satoshis to a new post by some gambling company for example ?
Yeah thats a good point actually, and you would end up with 2 extra posts just to tip someone. People using tips to bump etc. hmmm A PM tip bot "might" make sense, but I'm not sure why would you do that when just tipping via blockchain.info or something would be as fast. This website: https://bitcointa.lk/pages/features/ Shows what an alternate forums looks like. They might be able to implement it into the forums itself if they wanted to. Also, you could make an extension/bookmarklet if you were determined to, but it wouldn't be displayed (as again, it would be spammy)

"102% return" Considering the fact that you would get only 102*99.8 = approx 101.8% back
You get a profit of 1.8%. Assuming you have a transaction fee of 0.0001, even if you send 10 mBTC, you will get under 1% profit, due to the transaction fees + owner fees.
What this means is that not only is this just another ponzi, but this is the least profitable ponzi ever.
The only appeal of ponzis was the fact that some early entrants could get profit and laugh at the later entrants. But this is just stupid.
The days of ponzis are gone, and this ponzi doesn't have a chance, and wouldn't have had a chance, even in the days of ponzis.
Lol Yes we are the least profitable ponzi ever because we don't want to scam anyone only reason we are giving very less profit You can't scam anyone if nobody participates right ? I think that's how you can stay "honest"

I can't help wonder sometimes, say I have 10 BTC in X address, if I send them to Y address, I have 10 BTC in the wallet with the Y address.
Say I create another address for the same wallet with Y addy, will anyone be able to know if I spend some of that 10 BTC?
If yes can you please explain how? It's still unundeerstandable for me, since the blockchain only deals with addresses, how can btc be linkable to wallets?
Other than that, if I send the 10 btc to Y address, will anyone be able to get all the addresses of the same wallet? Thanks!
The blockchain only shows addresses, not wallets. By seeing one address in a wallet, nobody can ever guess any other address. Having multiple addresses is awesome, because you can isolate transactions from each other and by using a "mixer" you can send BTC from one address to another without anyone else even knowing you own both adddresses.

Make the lottery/dice provably fair.
For example they would need to use dice (random stuff) instead of dice. Then it could hash it with the server seed which would be revealed at the end of the day/week. A portable provably fair number generator would be very useful.
And lastly, question, translate, google and youtube are a bit unrelated. I could see people holding their own lotteries by using dice and tip together, but these are just random. They don't make your bot seem better, they just seem random.

Doesn't sound too hard to create a user-made bot, but let's see what this will be used for.
1- Unlike reddit, here dedicated Bitcoiners come. On reddit, it helps promote and advertise Bitcoin, and allows established Bitcoiners to give back. Here ? I can't really see a use. Most people here have a decent amount of Bitcoin, so sending people an mBTC or two won't be that useful.
2- It will create more spam. On reddit, where comments are well sorted, it's okay. But what happens when a hundred people send 100 satoshis to a new post by some gambling company for example ?

I am searching for marketing people who can help me with a site that will release soon.
Budget is approximatly 8BTC
If anyone is interested, please PM me
Firstly, I'd definitely suggest not dealing with other members directly. A signature campaign is a decent idea, you would be best of if you messaged escrow.ms ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=235452.0) who would be able to assist with escrowing for a signature campaign, or EvilPanda( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=134217) who has hosted quite a few signature campaigns in the past, and currently is hosting GAW Miners, a pretty popular signature campaign. Alternatively, you can try your luck at the forum adslot auction( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=838764.0) which will get you official forum slots. Lot less hectic, allows banners instead of just BBcode too.

I'm also curious about the explanation of the 0.1% house edge. Who knows we will get a calculation that will surprise us all We think that Win rate of binaryoption is 54%. 100÷54=1.851851851851852 house edge is 0.185185...%. 100÷54.1=1.848428835489834 House edge is -0.16...% But if winrate is different, house edge can differ Our winrate has been between 52.8% and 56% So, we think that our house edge is 0.1%. Winrate of Binary option is 54% ? Where on earth did you pull that number from ? There are two, equally likely options, which can be chosen, making the winrate 50%. You are just fabricating this 54% winrate to make it look like a miniscule house edge, but in reality, your house edge is (1- (1.8*50/100 + 0*50/100)) = 10% I'd say advertising your house edge as one hundredth of what it really is is really bad practice..

Poker, because it's EV+ (for me) I would personally not even call it gambling tbh. Even an EV+ game is still gambling with luck. What if you got the next 10,000 hands being 27 unpaired ? It would be gambling, because despite skill affecting it, there is a chance that randomness will screw you over.

Yes and no.
They can basically shut down every company accepting/using it and fine/prison every average user. They can try to take down as many sources of the Bitcoin client.
They can basically make it impossible for any development, and any usage by all but the most determined.
They can make Bitcoin worthless, but they cannot stop the few dedicated miners from mining and sending amongst each other.
Technically Bitcoin is unstoppable, as many others say, but practically it is stoppable.

Is that like a Actually, I think milli-bitcoin (not millibit) is pretty much the future BTC ? Okay. mBTC ? Okay, 0.001 BTC Satoshi ? Okay, the smallest unit. mBTC will likely become extremely dominant. Near the 1000$ phase of BTC, mBTC were convenient as they had parity with the dollar. Using decimal places will not stay forever, mBTC is easier to use. Why mBTC and not Bitcent, Bit, kiloSatoshi or whatever crap? Well, I'd attribute it to the fact that mBTC could be considered more of a unit, under which transactions rarely occur. It's not too big that you need to use decimal places too often, nor too small that you would need to talk in hundreds.

These seem to be laws governing exchanges ?
What impact will this classification of exchanges as "money transmitters" have on the average Bitcoin user ?
