521  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can i start forex with no risk of money? on: July 10, 2020, 10:58:45 PM
Well, this question just shows how people see trading and investing as some kind of fun game where they can always win.
There is no trading whatsoever without risk, that is the first rule and you need to learn how to asess and manage the risk. Forex isn't any exception. I seriously suggest to get well informed before entering any kind if trading.
522  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why hasn’t Bitcoin’s price skyrocketed? on: July 10, 2020, 08:58:45 PM
the reason is pretty simple and it has nothing to do with stock market, corona virus,... it is simply because bitcoin is not a pump and dump shitcoin so you can't expect it to just "get pumped" (aka skyrocket) for no reason.
i'd say it has been growing reasonably well for the past 2.5 years. keep in mind that you have to look at the long term changes not the short term and not the bubbles. ever since 2017 bitcoin has been growing in adoption (and after the bubble burst ended) in price too. not to mention that in many ways it has even "skyrocketed" when you look at the rise from $3,200 to $10,000.

That is all true but many users still think that Bitcoin price moves according to their wishes and without a reason.
Many also thought that halving would be a trigger for big price rise but that didn't happen and now they are disappointed, looking the reasons for that in corona pandemic and similar. They also forgot that halving could have caused the price fall as well. Although the Bitcoin price is quite decent many are still not satisfied.
523  Economy / Economics / Re: Very strange most people like to buy with bitcoin , but using altcoins very few on: July 10, 2020, 12:35:37 PM
I'm not surprised. When it comes to cryptocurrencies people stil trust Bitcoin the most. It's the oldest coin, trusted, the best adopted, could be used in real world for real needs and highest valued. From my point of view, these reasons are enough.
On the other hand, new altcoins appear all the time but very few are worth our attention. Many pretend to take Bitcoin's place but that is not going to happen.
524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it beneficial for the crypto casinos to add stable coins? on: July 10, 2020, 09:42:52 AM
Some casinos have implemented beside cryptos even Fiat in order to expand their target of users and I think this is the most successful approach to this. This will put a bit more burden to the casino maintenance group but it will be well worth it as long as it expands the target users of the casino and increases the numbers of players.

From the volatility perspective it's good to offer fiat. That might also atract gamblers who don't have or don't want  to spend cryptocurrencies.
On the other hand that might be a burden for casinos not only because of maintainance.but from regulatory perspective too and additional pressure from authorities in some countries.
525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: July 09, 2020, 01:01:53 PM
Recent reports from all scientists suggest that wearing masks does not protect against coronavirus. We need more professional masks since the virus remains in the air for a long time. I think it’s very risky to open establishments where a lot of people gather. This is fraught with new infections and the spread of the virus.
The most required and most safe mask that I know is the N95 mask followed by the surgical masks but it will be useless if you doesn't have any alcohol or at least hand sanitizer on hand. The virus is slowly mutating and it lasts longer on any surfaces. Researchers and Scientists also say that the transmission of the virus can be airborne too aside from droplets only showing that it really is evolving.

Still the best way to prevent ourselves from infecting this deadly virus is don't go out of our house as much as possible. Unfortunately, not all people can afford to do that and they will just go out if they want.

I didn't believe for a second that masks can help! Of course some special masks can help, but how many people can afford them? And even those masks can't last for long, you need to change them from time to time.
It's not just that some people need to work, some businesses depends on people who are coming, if everyone stays home what will happen with towns like Vegas is? They are already damaged, and by some prognosis about this pandemic they can just expect more damage to their economy! Which means all people there are in fucked up situation! It's a hard choice, to destroy economy for saving some lives, or saving lives but destroying economy and many lives and families?!

Exactly, in most cases masks are useless, especialy when you see how people are wearing them and how often they are changed. This is more just psychological effect.
Izrael has produced some anti -bacteria  and anti-virus masks but they are expensive and not available everywhere.
We need to continue our lives, economy must function otherwise soon we'll not have anything to eat and we'll all stay out of job. Casinos must work too, cities like Vegas depend on them and just imagine how many people would end up in the streets if they close the doors. Closing everything and stay in.home isn't good long term strategy.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Visa supports CBDC government cryptocurrencies on: July 09, 2020, 09:12:43 AM
This is nothing new for Visa. They were among first payment processors who recgonized cryptocurrencies and see that as a new emerging market. They provided crypto debit cards to many services year ago and with time they are only enlarging their support and services. I'm not surprised
527  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am testing crypto trading bots with real investments - check out the results on: July 08, 2020, 08:14:46 PM
No matter the results that are  obviously income of thorough testing I don't trust bots and don't think they can be very useful in trading. Maybe as kind of guidlines or just for fun but I would never rely on bots when trading, I prefere manual process so I'm not convinced but maybe some users here will get interested.
528  Economy / Economics / Re: What they mean whenever they say Bitcoin was born in the wake of 2008 recession? on: July 08, 2020, 06:26:10 PM
It's just a coincidence that bitcoin was born when the recession of 2008-2009 is on its peak. I don't know why people are overanalyzing this fact, although I can understand since Satoshi's original blog post regarding bitcoin hinted it as a possible tool against such kinds of economic failure and to combat oppressive banking schemes. People later on tried to brand bitcoin as something mythical and like a 'gift from above' since it goes against the norms of banking and the economy that we are so used with.

I'm not so convinced that it was coincidence. That was the period of recession.and people were tired of banks and circle of crisis they cause. People wanted alternative, something new in financial world and to my opinion part of motivation to create Bitcoin was exactly that situation.
Of course, Bitcoin is not the answer to all finances problems and can't replace fiat money or banks although some people see it like that.
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: One game vs a variety: which gives higher potential to a casino? on: July 08, 2020, 02:58:50 PM
To my opinion variety is advantage. Casino with wide offer will attract more gamblers because each one of use has different preferences, we are all.dofferent types of players. Having narrow choice is always a risk and such casino will struggle much more to attract bigger number of players and make decent profit. Variety is always better.
530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we still enjoy the anonymity in gambling in the long run? on: July 08, 2020, 01:40:51 PM
I think that in todays' world we have lost our privacy completely, that become an illusion. Many say that we needed to sacrifice part of our privacy to get protection and some benefits. That is the true, but how big the cost is it's yet to find out.
Gambling sites are no exception and KYC and other legal obligations are a must. So, if you want to use legitimate sites I think you can't escape it.
We see how many people are not happy with KYC and protest because of their privacy but on the other hand on social networks and similar places they reveal much more on themselves than it's decent and acceptable. So, what's the point...
531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What was your experience trading cryptocurrency? on: July 08, 2020, 09:14:48 AM
I've learned so far that trading actions is usually waist of time and money, at least that is my experience, so.I stick to Bitcoin.
Also, there is always a risk and no matter how splendid situation might look there is always possibility for surprise. Losses are inevitable so always think twice how much you can risk to lose and for successful trading you always need a bit of luck too.
532  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we rely on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency? on: July 07, 2020, 07:54:55 PM
That very much depends for what would you like to rely on Bitcoin. Buying stuff for daily needs, saving for entirenment, investing or something else.
By nature Bitcoin is risky so fully relying on it.in.any sense is risk. I think that we still need to combine Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies with fiat money, without that it's hard to cover all our needs just with cryptocurrencies and we are exposed to too big risk.
533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A massive daily jackpot lottery on: July 07, 2020, 02:03:39 PM
I sort of heard that idea before but it won't be as popular as the other crypto lottery that we have today. Why you need an advice? are you going to make your own lottery or you're just researching about them.
I think a blockchain-based lottery dwells more with the dApps. So you should check them out and search for them.

In both cases if he asks for some advice he should give more information. This is very general and, yes, many new ideas pop up all the time so for some suggestions or advice we should first get clearer picture to see if idea is good or not and will it find the place on the gambling market.
534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin soon will become a boring investment? on: July 07, 2020, 11:19:52 AM
Only people whi are very short involved in Bitcoin and don't have much experience can think that Bitcoin is boring investment. Maybe currently volatility isn't so visible but some patience is needed too.
And Bitcoin is not only about price, it's about possibilities and kind of freedom it gives you so.It's very complex.
Don't see Bitcoin only as a easy money, see a bit larger picture.
535  Other / Off-topic / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto has been a colleague of Pablo Escobar! on: July 07, 2020, 08:17:23 AM
I like this theory, it's the best so far!  Grin
Until now I liked the best theory that Satoshi i actualy menber of US government and that Bitcoin is project of US government.
I really can't beleive how funny stories people make up about Satoshi and why is everyone so obsessed with his identity. Just let the man be and be grateful that he shared Bitcoin with us, who cares who he really is.
536  Economy / Economics / Re: Rising tensions and effect on global trade on: July 07, 2020, 04:29:30 AM
A situation like is expected to happen sooner or later because in the year 2019 before the pandemic issue, India was seen as one of the fastest growing major economy in the world and it was predicted to overtake of the U.K and Germany.
Meanwhile, their last year economy growth left some suspicion and China in the other are know for their centralization habit. I believe this is what led to the data misuse by the Chinese.
As we're all aware that the two countries goals as a member of  World trade organization it better the political interventions make a positive correction rather add salt to the wound due to what are at stake.

Just because the situation like you've described and tendency of some countries to grow and develope fast in economic way and thus overcome some other superior countries some say that this pandemic wasn't accidental and that the purpose was to create new world order and slow sone countries down, like India and China.
I.don't believe in conspiracy theories but on the other hand when we look in what world we live in nothing seems to be impossible.
537  Economy / Economics / Re: China economy and how they handle Covid-19. on: July 06, 2020, 08:04:15 PM
We all know that the root of this pandemic are those Chinese people who eats exotic food.

At first, that's what I believe when it was still china who has the highest number of covid cases, but as time pass by and I read a lot of news and articles, it's already confusing me and I don't anymore believe that anyone have accurately identified the root cause of the corona virus.

They are actually accusing each other, like China accuse US and vice versa, so I'm not anymore interested on where this virus came from, what interest me now is on how and when the vaccine and the cure will be release.

What is done,, is done. Whether the virus came because Chines eat everything that is alive or because of something else, we might never know and there is no use in accusations. However, now it's important to find the way to keep pandemic under control and to enable to economies to recover.
I beleive that Chinese will have advantage in recovery compared with US and Europe, they will put their economy back on feet much faster and again be one step ahead.
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My friend passed away and he have Bitcoin in his wallet on: July 06, 2020, 07:08:10 PM
I'm sorry for your friend, this is a sad thing to experience.
Similar cases when people die and leave Bitcoin behind in their wallets happen more often. If they haven't left any kind of last will where is instructed what to do with Bitcoins then family and friends might have serious issues what to do with it and especially if they don't have access to wallet. It's a legal.and moral question what to do.
Anyhow, in this case I think their family should decide and they should be offered some technical help to deal with it and its up to them what they are going to do with Bitcoins.
539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any successful and relatively new casinos? on: July 06, 2020, 12:34:57 PM
I don't know any new casino that I could revommend. Haven't tried or heard of any. Although, I'm not actually the type to experimente with casinos too much, if I'm satisfied with games choice, security, customer support and withdrawal policy why changing anything.
I can understand that players want to try something new but just because of that new casinos that are often cover for scam appear all the time.
540  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is bullish longterm on: July 05, 2020, 08:08:34 PM
As always, bitcoin has proven to be bullish on a long-term basis but many investors and traders are not be real to this, rather always consider bitcoin as a quick money making machine. Those who look at bitcoin as a means of making profit where quite disappointed sometimes from 2018  when bitcoin went down in price till 2019. Let not forget that, bitcoin is a speculative asset and bullish trend can only come by news or through speculations.

You can't expect that all traders and investors are oriented lonf term. Some want to make profit rather quickly and reinvest money further for even bigger profit without waiting months or years for their investment to pay of and you can't blame them for that.
But Bitcoin gives opportunities for everyone, both short term and long term, they just need to modify their approach and activities in the market. That is the beauty of investing in Bitcoin.
