521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the buyers move to anonymous coins? on: September 14, 2017, 03:47:56 AM
No they won't!

anonymous altcoins will always remain a currency to be used for illegal activities in the dark web and not much else in other places in real world and that is fine.

plus there will be nothing wrong with bitcoin, and there is nothing coming. it will remain the same and continue being adopted and grow.

of course trading is different. anon coins might see a pump if a hype really takes place and then fall down like always.
522  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cheap Bitcoins! on: September 14, 2017, 03:38:32 AM
each time there is a topic like this talking about cheap coins and others agreeing with it, i am wondering how many of those who read and agree are actually buying bitcoin "cheap"!

we all know price will go back up at some point, sooner or later, and everyone who has not bought will regret it. but i am just curious to know how many are just "talking" and how many are actually "acting".
523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SYSCOIN - AMAZON on: September 14, 2017, 03:30:23 AM
What do you think?
4000x next year?

it is a dead altcoin and it will remain that. nothing can revive it and it has absolutely nothing to do with Amazon, you probably either got some very false information or you are spreading it because you are a bag-holder hoping for recovery of your funds you naively invested in this death trap.
524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on: September 14, 2017, 03:23:01 AM
Bitcoin has went down to usd 4,000 since August 22 and the JP Morgan chief executive, Jamie Dimon, called it a fraud. What do you think?

people have been calling bitcoin names for ages. from being dead and rat poison to things like ponzi scheme. and not "fraud". and none of it ever mattered and it will not matter when big and advanced countries like Japan has adopted bitcoin as a real currency.
in fact these people are making a public idiot out of themselves when they say things like that!

and the reason why they say these things is either because they feel threatened by bitcoin or they want to make profit from the drop. there is no other possibility.
525  Economy / Speculation / Re: My opinion why btc falls, others prosper. on: September 14, 2017, 03:16:09 AM
the people who did invest didn't have to invest much money, when it first came out, if you had invested $10, you would have a nice fortune now....because its sitting in the thousands now, i feel very few people for this reason wont invest in it, even if i did a $1000 now, i think it would take forever to see a huge outcome compared to the first investors.
consider this:
shares of a lot of companies in the world have been stupidly cheap when they started. companies such as Apple, or Facebook,... and now they are stupidly high.
obviously many bought them when they were cheap.

do you think nobody is buying them now just because those first wave bought it cheap and are now rich because they were fast and wiser?

Quote
Now that people see the uses and market for online currencys, a lot more people are paying attention to it, due to this, I'm feel the average person will invest in other coins like ethereum, ltc....etc, hoping for a big outcome like bitcoin had.
yeah, well the same way the average person invests in penny stocks in the hope for a big outcome they also invest in altcoins for the same hope. sometimes they get their wish if they are fast and dump after the pump and sometimes they get the sharp end of the knife when they buy after the pump and get dumped on.

but they won't "prosper"!
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with 2000€ on: September 13, 2017, 09:24:00 AM
I'm quite new ....
I'm looking for a long term solution ....

then invest in bitcoin!
wait a little while until this drop finishes and finds its bottom then buy there. and then that would be your long term investment.

I was thinking about 1500€ in Kraken.com (Bitcoin/Eth...) and 500€in Poloniex to occasionally "play" with volatile crypto...
What do you think about that ?

if you enter trading altcoin you will need to "check the price of your invests every two hours". otherwise you will be losing money without even noticing. or you will have to find an exchange that allows you to place stop losses (i am not sure if Kraken has that option but if it does then make sure to use it).
527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cant believe a Tweet can cause $billions blood bath on: September 13, 2017, 09:16:38 AM
just enjoy the discounts that the weak hands are giving you. even if the news about China is not a big fat lie, it won't matter in the long term. in a week or so from today price will be up above what you buy today and in a longer term such as next year you will be blaming yourself about why you haven't acted on this opportunity to buy cheaper coins while you still could afford it.
528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I need some advice on NEO on: September 13, 2017, 09:05:16 AM
the market in general is not in a good shape these days, it is too volatile and shaky. and that always makes predicting the market extremely hard and nearly impossible. and when it comes to specific coins like NEO that have been pumped recently it becomes harder to predict too.

however the price you have bought seems to be near the bottom. so it wouldn't be the worst idea to hold it specially since you are not yet at a stop loss to want to sell before it becomes big.
529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: *** Get Rich Fast! *** on: September 13, 2017, 08:58:03 AM
the thing is, in altcoin market it is actually possible to become rich fast but for 90% of those who are trying it won't be possible and most of them are losing money anyways. and the only reason is that they have no idea what they are doing. they know nothing of trading and nothing about the market.

otherwise you can clearly see that earlier this year all altcoins were pumped a lot and investing in a couple of them could give you a huge profit if you know when to get in and when to dump instead of holding it tight with false hope.
530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH smartcontract for new ICO or not? on: September 12, 2017, 10:00:35 AM
it depends on what you want to do.

if you really want to develope something real then you can do it without using any of these platforms and even without using any ICO or any fundraising of any kinds (see bitcoin and litecoin for the most successful example).

but of course if you want to just make something and do the least amount of work, and if you want to copy paste as much as possible then using ETH is the way to go. there are a lot of them and you can just rename one and call it your own!
531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what do you expect from ripple ? 2018 on: September 12, 2017, 09:54:15 AM
continues drop like always and possibly back down to 2000-3000 satoshi first and then a small pump up about 1000 satoshi and then the followup drop down to 1000 satoshi and finally back to the real price of XRP at 500 satoshi.

then staying there for a while (probably a month or more) then a big pump of 2x-3x and following dump back below 1000 again.
532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is long term investment on: September 12, 2017, 09:42:56 AM
i disagree!

a good long term investment is not something that is bigger after a year. a good long term investment is something that goes up every month. for example if this month it is worth $10 then the next month it should be $11 and then next $12.
but in case of ETH for example the price is $10 then it is $9 then $8 ... $2 then it is pumped to $8 so everyone thinks it must be a good long term investment!!! and worst part is after $8 it starts the same drop again to $7, then $6 ...
(obviously the numbers are arbitrary)
533  Economy / Speculation / Re: Last chance for cheap Bitcoin? on: September 12, 2017, 09:34:57 AM
I dont think bitcoin price will double in 3 months.I think there is a lot of time to invest in bitcoin because its value will keep go up in the next 10 years .There is now way its price will keep decrease. Maybe next it will hit 10k but not this year
look
bitcoin surprise its users on every movement, but bitcoin never make anyone to loss, so it may be possible for bitcoin to double its price in just 3 months or  may be it takes less then 3 months, we never know.
you use the word "may be", i think that is not appropriate at this point because right bitcoin is at the point were no one can predict its value, its fluctuation always surprise the traders and so do other bitcoin holders.so it depend on fortune of its users.

fluctuations are a part of any other market too.
and unpredictable fluctuations are also a part of any market also.

the issue is that most people around here who are investing in bitcoin are extremely inexperience and unwilling to educate themselves. they think if a rise happens it must be a pump and a bubble and they think if a drop happens then it must be a bubble popping and end of bitcoin!!!!
but if they bother to check any other market they can see the same things are going on in other places too. but in those market like stocks or forex, the effects are too small because those investors know what they are doing.
534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more profitable, trading in Crypto coins or trading in stock market?? on: September 12, 2017, 09:29:06 AM
trading bitcoin:
is highly profitable with medium risk because you can be sure that bitcoin price is rising in the long term and even if you make mistakes you can cover them on the rise of it. and the rise is not going to stop for years until the mass adoption.

trading altcoins:
is highly profitable with high risk. it is good if you are familiar with the notion of pump and dumps and know how to use them to your own advantage then you can make a lot of profit.

trading stocks:
i medium to high risk with medium reward. it is a regulated market and big enough to make it less profitable and with less pump and dumps so you can speculate it better too.
535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHY THIS DUMP??? on: September 11, 2017, 07:07:42 AM
these things come in pairs not solo. when there is a PUMP there should also be its matching part after the first one is over and that part is called DUMP.
you can not have one without the other. and since the PUMP comes first, the DUMP always follows.

you can associate any DUMP with the news and try to find a relationship but the reality is that traders are simply cashing out to gain the profit!
536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum's only use case is issuing ICO's on: September 11, 2017, 06:56:53 AM
that has always been the scariest part when investing in ETH! its price is only depending on ICOs and if anything were to change it would take a huge hit.

and it is not just countries banning ICO. there are a lot more that can change.
- when ICO creators start dumping their ETH coins to get out of the market
- People will eventually stop believing ICOs and invest in them the same way they stopped investing in any coin that has a premine
- another DAO happens!
- someone finally uses one of the better smart contract platforms and creates an awesome one with them so others will also switch over.
537  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be worth $20,000-55,000 by the year of 2022 on: September 11, 2017, 06:49:06 AM
..because there`s always the risk of some big country regulating or banning bitcoin or all the cryptocurrencies....

then you don't understand what bitcoin, a peer to peer decentralized currency means!
also banning and regulating are not the same thing. banning is what Bangladesh has done. regulating is what Japan has done. the difference is 180 degrees Smiley

besides, in the end it will be about how many countries are open to bitcoin and how many aren't. so far 99% of countries are friendly.
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BLOOMBERG JUST REPORTED: China bans cryptocurrency exchanges on: September 11, 2017, 06:42:28 AM
even if it were true, i say it is a very good news. because we simply will put an end to Chinese FUD. all these years i have seen thousands of this very same news about China doing this and China doing that to bitcoin and each time the timing is perfectly in sync with price correction which causes a bigger dip!
539  Economy / Speculation / Re: another day, another dip, another buy the dip on: September 09, 2017, 02:10:23 PM
the news from China are evidence about how fragile the bitcoin community is and how it can be easily manipulated.

about 2 days of non-stop FUD and market manipulation and panic sells and lots of weak hands and price went down 8.45% and it has already recovered about $200 of the dip back up.
and you call this "fragile"?!!
540  Economy / Speculation / Re: Core coin wealth moving to Bitcoin Cash on: September 08, 2017, 10:12:20 AM
As predicted a lot of mining power and money is moving out of Core coin into Bitcoin Cash.
Even altcoins are losing value to Bitcoin Cash now.
Here we see the future of Crypto expanding, as Satoshi envisioned.

i know many are wishing for this to happen but it was never a predicted thing to happen. any speculator knows very well that bitcoin cash is just a temporary altcoin for pump an dumps with no real future. like most altcoins it will stay around for a while get pumped using certain news and then gets its inevitable dump.

so far nothing about mining and hashrate of bitcoin has changed. it has even increased more than before and the price is obviously on the rise and each month it breaks new ATH.
