521  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 1$ per day crypto investment plan any good ? on: March 31, 2023, 10:21:15 PM
Is 1$ investment in crypto every day enough? I'm making up to 10$ per day and I don't want something that will tie me down financially since I have other things I'm using the money for aka responsibilities so all I can afford is 1$ per day, also is BTC the best option with this 1$ per day?

Only we can see the result once we do it on actual. Generally, for me, the whole idea is good especially if you are aiming for only hodling.

However, also consider the daily fees transferring from fiat wallet, etc. to crypto exchanges if you will literally do it every single day.

Bitcoin should be obviously a good option. Well then, good luck with your plan, and hope that someday, your effort will be worth it.

522  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: one mistake that crypto beginners should be aware of ? on: March 30, 2023, 11:53:55 PM
There are a lot of mistakes being made by crypto beginners. I think they made mistakes like choosing an inappropriate crypto exchange platform, thinking only about pricing instead of ROIS, lack of research and planning, and underestimating cyber security. If they were aware of such things, it will be more beneficial for them.

That's why they called "beginners" in the first place. Do you expect them to already have a best and be skilled in doing trades right away?

Without those mistakes, how can even they be a good trader in the long-run?

Let those mistakes come to them as that losing experience will be their good foundation in becoming a good trader in the long-run.
523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: March 30, 2023, 11:52:28 PM
The absence of Fajardo and the Coach Gallent being inexperienced are the main reasons why they got swept, but better luck next time I guess.

I think even with Fajardo on board and Coach Leo Austria handling the team. That won't change the result that Ginebra will win the series.

The reason is, Ginebra already knows how to handle SMB regardless if Fajardo is there. The gameplay will be changed obviously if Fajardo is there. It just makes sense for me to think about that as Ginebra already dominates Bay Area Dragons which is far stronger than the current SMB even with a healthy Fajardo.

The changes would be, if Fajardo is there, the series won't be a sweep. Smiley

524  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHERE DOES THE PROFITS FROM? on: March 30, 2023, 11:48:18 PM

No need to be too technical about these. Just aim for the profits and don't mind where these profits came from.

It won't give any benefit to us in the first place and besides here in trading, we just have to mind our own business.

Buying low, selling high - seems a simple statement but is hard to execute in reality, in most cases.
525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most likely category of people to become Gambling addicts. on: March 30, 2023, 11:45:58 PM

I don't get it. We can easily avoid that "be careful" stuff if we don't introduce gambling to others.

Why introduce gambling in the first place? In my case, I just entertained any gambling-related questions, concerns, or interests if that person approach me first and not the other way around. It's not my usual to introduce gambling to others as why should I do that in the first place?

If someone will ask me about that, that's the time I will only respond to them but there's no way I will stick with those pointers at the OP as it's not my business to be careful when being asked. Besides, I don't know their financial capability so I will just go with the flow.
526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 3) on: March 30, 2023, 11:40:28 PM
That Akaho fight is very disappointed for us and for Casimero, I mean if Akaho decided to continue to fight then we will see Casimero's beast unleashed again and maybe he will really win by knockout. But Akaho robbed us when he quit and although the ruling has overturn, it leave a bad taste for us fans.

I don't understand how that fight leaves a bad taste in you where in fact Casimero turned Akaho into a punching bag that day. Aside from that, it was a KO win by Casimero after the review. That fight is not a disappointment as that win made him ranked 8 by the WBO.

Moving forward, in this fight, the same approach as what he did to Akaho should be shown by Casimero or much better in order for him to be recognized as one of the best contenders for the title. If everything goes smoothly, we will see Casimero again in a title match.
527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 27, 2023, 11:59:45 PM
We will see his fate after winning the fight against Plant, he got that interim ticket to challenge Canelo we just need to wait for Alvarez response after the fight against Ryder,  and I can agree to your sentiment regarding to Benavidez, he wants the belt and he will do his best to earn it, whoever the title holder as long as they will accept his challenge then it will take place.

Canelo has no choice but to accept the supposed deal with Benavidez regardless of anything.

However, even with Benavidez winning against Plant recently, it seems that Benavidez didn't really call the attention of Canelo. There are even speculations that Canelo vs Bivol II is much more anticipated by most boxing fans as they think Benavidez can easily be handled by Canelo and the former is just full of talks.

Regardless though, Canelo's camp maybe has to consider granting Benavidez interest for a long of facing Canelo and just settles everything in the actual fight.
528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: March 27, 2023, 11:57:19 PM
I mean in all stats, Hollis-Jefferson might have better stats, but in terms of impact on his team, I believe Brownlee has more impact than Hollis-Jefferson.

It's because Brownlee is always involving his teammates. Aside from being a consistent scorer, he's not just focused on it but rather taking advantage of his teammate's respective role specialty. It's the same reason why Brownlee is even more preferred by most PH basketball communities to be the primary naturalized player in Gilas compared to Jordan Clarkson.

Looks like there's no chance for SMB to bounce back at the series. Ginebra is currently on the highest level. Their experience beating the dominant EASL foreign team, Bay Area Dragons, really turned them into a team-to-beat in the whole league.
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Random Number Generator and it's importance in Online Casinos on: March 27, 2023, 11:52:03 PM
And it is only in Lotto one can win big in random number generating by the gambler. So I don't really believe on the RNG system.

Are you saying that all online lotteries where draw results are generated by a certain random algorithm are all sh*t and not true?

These lotteries won't pass being a lottery site if they will failed to prove the fairness of their system.

The RNG system is 100% fair, "technically". But of course, don't expect sites that are not popular and unlicensed lottery sites to have a fair approach to their users. Always stick with those considered reputable ones.
530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | POSTPONED on: March 27, 2023, 11:48:18 PM
In any case, what is the latest news? Is this fight only postponed or is there a chance of a cancellation? This might give a chance for Casimero to enter the show if he can challenge someone with a high rank in super bantamweight.

As for now, the status is "postponed", and no rumors of it being canceled. Seems that Fulton's camp is just fine waiting for the rescheduled date to give way on Inoue's full recovery. As per ETA, the rescheduled date will be in Japan's summer period.

As for Casimero, it's easy to challenge those boxers at high rank but the problem is, these top-ranked boxers are not interested "for now" to face Casimero. Quadro Alas should at least settle to fight first at those low ranked and build again his name to be recognized.

Currently, it's good that Casimero has an upcoming fight now. He just needs to continue winning until being involved again in the contender's discussion.
531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: March 27, 2023, 11:43:40 PM
I think it all goes down to the right amount for split.  If they agreed on the reward money, then the fight will be finalized.  So for the fight between Crawford and Spence to happen, someone has to sacrifice his purse.

I don't really think that the purse split is really the big issue here for why the anticipated mega bout isn't materialized for real.

Alright, let's say yes that purse is one of the reasons, I believed there might be other big issues.

I mentioned before that it was reported that Spence seems not in good shape anymore to settle a bout at 147 that's why they want to test the waters at 154. We will only see a clear view of Spence's future plan once we see the result of his debut fight at 154.
532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 3) on: March 27, 2023, 11:38:58 PM

As per checking this unpopular boxer, at least in my own boxing vocabulary, Filipus Nghitumbwa is currently ranked number 10 by the WBO.

He's not ranked by other major boxing-sanctioning organizations, WBC, WBA, and IBF.

Don't know how Casimero ended up negotiating a deal with Nghitumbwa but regardless, it's good that he didn't remain idle for long waiting for his next fights. Again, just as Casimero did against Akaho on his debut fight at 122, he just needs to again to impress the boxing community with an impressive win as that might result again in improving his rank which will give him more opportunity to settle a deal with top-ranked boxers.
533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 27, 2023, 11:31:14 PM
They are playing soft at the moment and guess they made a wrong decision for trading Dinwiddie and Dorian Finney-Smith this is solid guy which give them a solid performance also can blend well with Luka. But now Mavs performance is declining and to bad for them because frustration starting to build up due to losses they get for past couple of games they played. Its hard to win when they are in bad shape at this point maybe for that we can see Dallas fall in bad spot.

I can't consider the trade with Kyrie Irving a wrong decision since if you will looked at all games where Irving is present, he's not the usual Irving that hogs the ball, act as a center of the offense, and not involving his teammates in most cases, etc. Here in Mavericks, Irving is sharing the ball, always keeping up with the play, and overall, doing great so far.

There's no problem with the Dallas Mavericks offense but noticeably their defense becomes worst allowing their opponents to even break their respective score averages per game. Dorian Finney-Smith is one of their best defenders before but even though he's not with the team now, they should be supposed to fill his role easily. I will disregard Dinwiddie, he is consistent in being inconsistent lol.

To mention some, Maxi Kleber (currently injured), Christian Wood, and Dwight Powell, these guys are doing well in the early to mid-season but they began to play poorly at some of their games here in the last phase of the season.

Currently, at 4 games losing streak, few games remaining this season (they are up against the Pacers as of I'm typing this), and might not even make it to the play-in tournament this year. As a long-time Dallas Mavericks fan, I'm really disappointed at what happened to them but I hope their failure this season will lead to them into a good spot in the next draft pick.
534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chasing looses Vs Finding closure: Any difference? on: March 27, 2023, 10:57:06 PM
I really need a clarification on this. Is chasing looses in gambling same as looking for closure because i recently read an article on reddit where the poster said that he will gamble untill he wins just to look for closure. I have been thinking about this for sometime now because closure has the same characteristics with chasing looses which is even when the gambler is loosing he will still be gambling just to recover all his looses.

It will be based on your own approach once you are there in the situation. For some people, it's easy to say that once they win huge like the amount involved is really decent, they will stop gambling now and use that money for better. The moment they now experience winning huge money, the original plan will be forgotten and they will continue to gamble more since in their mind, why stop if they are lucky?

You won't find any clarification here based on several responses since again, our approach will depend once we are now in the actual situation.

If you will stop or not once you win big, it's up to you to continue based on how far you can tolerate your temptation to gamble more.
535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about this? on: March 27, 2023, 10:52:46 PM
When some people ask questions about gambling, such as "Can someone can make a living through gambling? I don't like to engage in such conversations because those who doubt that gambling can change someone's life are usually those who have gambled and failed multiple times or those who don't really know gambling strategies.

These people who claimed or live proof that gambling can make a living don't have any obligations to tell us if it's really true or not that they rely on their gambling skills to support their living. I mean, just mind our own business regardless of everything.

We don't even need to know if these people really can keep up with their gambling career to the point that they can consider it now as a primary source of income.

This left me with several questions in my head, such as ' Do religious leaders gamble? Is it right for religious leaders to gamble? Knowing fully well that most of them preach against gambling in their religious places. What is the ethical and moral implications of gambling, particularly in the context of religious practices and beliefs?

Some religious leaders don't need to gamble literally just to gain more funds.

Establishing a religious group is quite profitable in most countries due to its influence.
536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Virtual Betting/ Real bet on: March 27, 2023, 10:48:16 PM
I would probably not bet on virtual games as well and rather spend the time and money on a slot machine where I could maybe hit a good multiplier and get a few extra bucks to play later than just betting on a virtual game where I can easily lose the money. I think it is better if someone chooses to bet on a sports event rather than a virtual one as there are more chances of winning in a sports bet.

Regardless if you are betting on virtual betting or slot machine, there's no such big difference as results on both are based on random algorithms.

It doesn't make sense that in terms of losing money easily and quickly, virtual betting is much more prone to it compared to playing with slot machines, as you say.  Both need some luck to win decently.

Maybe it's just that you are not aware of virtual betting that's why you think it's easy to lose money on it compare to slots machine. Both are gambling and always keep in mind that either of those can drain your funds per session, especially in the long run.
537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taking advantage of bonuses - what do you think about this? on: March 25, 2023, 09:07:19 PM
Is this a good way in your opinion to actually "make money" from gambling or not - what's your opinion?

Being a good way or not depends on the user's determination to make money from that way.

Others might be interested to join those and there might others that not really a fan of joining a tournament. There's nothing wrong to try though as long as you understand well what you are doing.

Not a fan of those personally and I just want the usual way of how gambling is supposed to be.
538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: March 25, 2023, 09:02:50 PM
Donaire's killer move is his counter hook punch where many boxer fell prey.  But the question would be, with the current age of Donaire, will he still have that fast reflex and reaction in order to deliver that deadly punches?

I understand your concern though although what I can say about that is, he still can deliver that deadly punches.

My only reference is, Donaire is not against a considered top-ranked boxer therefore, we are not expecting an Inoue-type of opponent here where Donaire's age is playing a big role. Age does matter and that's usual but against Santiago, I don't really consider age as a factor.

However, if Donaire will struggle against Santiago, no way Donaire can even match with other top-ranked boxers in the bantamweight.
539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much these features weigh most when you choose your favorite casino? on: March 25, 2023, 08:58:57 PM
And having a good reputation allows a casino to survive the tough competition from fellow casinos and can even make the casino get to the top of the list of casinos with the best reputation. But getting this good reputation is not as easy as one might think because the casino must try to show good business by always serving and satisfying its customers. And this also cannot happen in a short time because the casino must show its continuous performance so that its members can see the casino's business. If the casinos can pull it off, they'll just have to see how it comes to them.

Therefore, we can assume and conclude that having a good reputation is the most weigh-in feature that gamblers want.

Regardless of how good the promotion is, of course, you can't expect sh*t promotions at these reputable casinos, the reputation built by a casino is the best reference for gamblers looking in a casino.

Who doesn't want a reputable casino that since we talking about our money here, we can expect that we somehow feel safe playing at these casinos that already reached the stage of being reputable and famous.
540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 25, 2023, 08:52:17 PM
If Benavidez beat Caleb, the super middleweight boxing will be more interesting because there is a chance that WBC might implement a mandatory title fight between Benavidez and Canelo.  I think Canelo will give in to the order and fight Benavidez.

Actually, that's really the goal of Benavidez as he stated in the interview, to somehow make Canelo accept the deal fighting him in the future. Regardless if Benavidez will have a hard time against Plant, as long as he wins, he will be eligible as a mandatory challenger for Canelo. No choice for Canelo but to accept it not unless he will still insist on his solid statement before that he won't fight fellow Mexicans unless it's really necessary.

Anyways, let's see first what will be the result of their respective upcoming fights and see what will be the post-result happenings after those.
