5581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Crash game more risky ? on: May 09, 2020, 06:28:23 PM
I have been playing the traditional gambling games but i have observed that crash game is more risky than the other gambling games. I always feel more greedy while playing a crash game and this make me lose more money. I think i have lost more money in crash games than any other game.

What is your observation on this  and do you prefer other gambling games over the crash games ?

No, I do not think so.

it is very easy and I have made a good amount of money playing it on Stake.com. I am not sure where you are playing it?
In my opinion, it is very easy and does not require skills as such.
5582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 09, 2020, 06:23:35 PM
Yes and on sports sites and channels all Indian community is very big so its very difficult for others to win any thing even they deserve about this win most of votes cast base on nationalty base.

Is that surprising? For all types of sports and games, the fans of a particular player would be from his own country. There can be rare exceptions, such as Ronaldo/Messi in football and Bryant/LeBron with basketball. Virat Kohli is a big name in international cricket. Even in countries such as Australia, he will be having huge number of fans. But then, Steve Smith will be more popular there.
Patriotism will play a major role in sports as well. Cheesy So yes obviously Steve Smith will win the poll but it will just be a close call since Indians are living in each corner of the world. Smiley

These kind of polls and voting are useless as the voting depends on the community. Indians are already everywhere in the world and what unites them is cricket and it is obvious that a cricketer from India will win such king of voting.
5583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The One Biggest Lesson Lesson you've learnt from Bitcoins Investment on: May 09, 2020, 05:12:32 PM
Interesting question!

There are many but, the biggest of them all is patience. You need lots and lots of patience and success will follow. As a investor and business man for me patience has always been profitable.
5584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Blockchain a Good Career? on: May 09, 2020, 04:38:49 PM
There has been an increase in demand for professional who are good in Blockchain after 2017. Recently Facebook also hired a good amount of professionals for it Libra project. New start up are coming out will help solutions using Blockchain technology. In my opinion it is one of the most demanding and best profession at this time.
5585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Some Alts for long run investment. on: May 09, 2020, 04:05:22 PM
Almost all coins have reached their peak before halving. It is better to avoid these coins for now and invest in them for long term holding after halving. Cryptocurrency market will take a dive after 11th of May and then all these coins will bleed. That will be the right time to take position.
5586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful using MEW to create Ethereum wallet and also opening them on: May 09, 2020, 03:06:54 PM
I have stopped using MEW long time ago. I had also lost a significant amount of funds while using this wallet. I prefer other wallets that can be downloaded either on my mobile or desktop. Web wallets should always be avoided for storing crypto assets as there is high risk of these wallets getting hacked. If anyone is interested in knowing which are the best Ethereum wallet in 2020 then click the link.

5588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto casinos pros and cons on: May 08, 2020, 09:55:48 AM
Hi guys!

We are all here because we like playing with crypto Smiley
There are many advantages of gambling in crypto casinos, e.g. privacy and speed. Or something else?
But are there some disadvantages for you compared to fiat money casinos?

Cheers,
Karl

In my opinion the biggest disadvantage of a crypto casino is it volatility. Cryptocurrencies are know to be very volatile. So if you are comparing a crypto casino with a USD casino, you will always lose in USD if the price of that particular cryptocurrency goes into red suddenly.
5589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Altcoins that's very profitable in Trading and Mining. on: May 08, 2020, 08:59:36 AM
Mining is for those who can afford to invest good amount into mining rigs and have free electricity. Mining is no more profitable as the cost of maintaining a rig is higher to the number of cryptocurrency you will earn.

The above list is good for holding for long term and not for day trading. If you want to trade then gom for cryptocurrency listed form 101 onwards on CMC. Here you will find projects that have a high volume and the price also less.
5590  Other / Meta / Re: Why Same MERITED Rankers send Merits to themselves? on: May 08, 2020, 08:53:54 AM
Hello...

I have a question which concerned to merit? I came to notice that we have lots of newbies who are trying very hard to get merits here on this BITCOINTALK forum. With lots great topics that contributes and also supports to put this forum in a great shape in future. I believe legendary is the final rank on this forum Right?

Now what is the difference for a legendary to MERIT another legendary who is already a legendary RANKER on this forum, same goes to other SAME Rankers on the forum.

This alone I believe makes few low rank members in the forum ask this questions in their thoughts.

Please your REASONS for this welcomed...

The whole pupose of Merit system is to reward user who have been able to help a member of the community. It was implemented to remove quantity posting  and increase quality posting.

There have been instances where some members have tried to manipulate the Merit system but, they were banned for life from this forum. So, avoid such tactics as it will only hurt you.

It is hard to get those Merits but it becomes easy if you create quality thread and help others.
5591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vaccine against Covid-19 should be made before sports events will take place? on: May 08, 2020, 06:58:06 AM
Vaccine will take time by now this is clear.

In my opinion there are two reason why this virus has spread to every country in the world.
1. China did not disclose the world about this deadly virus in December last year.
2. World leaders were not serious about this Virus becoming a pandemic.

Lockdown has been done now is to control the spread of this virus and every country is trying to do its best. But, controlling the spread does come with serious economic effects.

Now, it is not possible to continue with the lockdown as people are suffering more from it than the virus.

So, what is the solution?
Educate people to live with it untill a cure is out.

Is it possible
Yes, every individual globally now knows how this virus spreads and how to keep themselves safe from the virus.

Therefore I think this the right time to open the lockdown in a phased manner and start all the activities that were halted after the lockdown. Let the people decide and let them take control of the situation.
5592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 08, 2020, 06:36:01 AM
I wish we could have a reboot button to start all over again and stop this shit virus from spreading. I am frustrated sitting inside my house for nearly 42 days now.

I have finished most of the Netflix and Prime series. If cricket could have been played I would have enjoyed the lockdown with out any frustration watching the IPL.

LOL.. Imagine my condition. I don't even have a Netflix account.  Grin

Not a big fan of these web series... and I found Amazon Primevideos much more exciting. But nothing can be more frustrating than not getting to watch any live cricket action. I just hope that the T20 World Cup would proceed without much issues. As of now, the situation looks really gloomy. But who knows? We still have 5 months to go for the scheduled start, and Australia is really faring well as far as the pandemic situation is concerned.

I consider the end of this is only now vaccine and till the time we do not have the chances will be far less only even if OZ say has a very good situation. Thing will not be open on such big platform when it involves to players of the world and with so much crowd gathered. Also, news as such does not look anything positive that it will end soon.

I can confirm that Australia is in a good situation right now as the cases have been under control for weeks now however we are coming into our flu season which could see a spike in cases if the government starts opening up which they are talking about. Time will tell if Australia is able to keep it under control if they start to open up for people to start going out again.

@Vella85 I’ll second that as Australia has managed to bring down the infection rate from 20% to just 0.5%, but what worries me now is the fact that they’re easing up on their restrictions. Furthermore with the winter season kicking in and the restrictions being relaxed this is a scary nightmare for all the cricket fans, because if the cases continue to spike out there then it’s quiet possible that the T20 World Cup will be cancelled.

You cannot continue with lockdown until a vaccine comes out as no one know when it will. People are struggling more under lockdown. People need to learn to live with the virus.

Good job by the Australian government in curbing the virus spread. Other countries are still struggling to control it.
5593  Economy / Gambling / Re: Power of this forum... on: May 08, 2020, 06:32:00 AM

5594  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How copy trading can prevent you from becoming a statistic. on: May 08, 2020, 06:18:17 AM
In my opinion if you are new to trading then try to learn the concept first. There are so many books availbe online from where you can learn the concept of Day trading.

Trading does require skills you cannot blindly follow anyone without knowing what he or she is trying to achieve. Another important factor of trading is that you have to be prepared to accept loss. It is practically impossible to earn profit every day.

Those who trade are always learning and improvising their skills, this is only possible when you are practicing trading on a real exchange. Therefore always be prepared to take risky.
5595  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin popped $10 000 on: May 08, 2020, 06:03:40 AM
Bitcoin has to breach the 10k mark before halving but there is a strong resistance at $9800. As soon as it hit 10k it took a steep dive downwards and now it is trading below it. I am sure within the next 24 hours it will again break the 10k barrier and hold there till the halving ends. I expect it to be between the price range of 10k to 11k.
5596  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin offline wallet suggestion on: May 07, 2020, 09:16:07 PM
Well in my opinion hardware wallet are the safest as they are offline untill you bring them online. If you are looking for sotware wallet then download either Exodus or Atomic desktop wallet and keep them offline.

I have been using the Atomic wallet on my desktop computer for HODLing my crypto assets. I donot use my desktop quite often as I am more on my laptop or tablet.

If you plan to use any of the above desktop wallets then remember to always upgrade them to the latest version whenever you are online.
5597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too scared to go for altcoins? on: May 07, 2020, 01:23:23 PM
I never care about these coins, I have no sympathy for them. They succeeded in the past thanks to the glory of bitcoin, they rely on the name "bitcoin" to survive.
It seems like you have a different judgment about this, because there are some coins that come from Bitcoin forks, so it looks like a good breed and they are basically not bad, and it's not just using the name Bitcoin.
Altcoins depend on Bitcoin for their Fiat value it has been proven many times. There are some which are basically Bitcoin forks but half of them have already died and only few are left. Hence it is foolish to compare Bitcoin with Bitcoin fork coins or altcoins.

If you want to know how many coins were forked from Bitcoin just google this keyword "Bitcoin forked coins" and you will get the list.
5598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO OPPORTUNITIES AMD JOBS. on: May 07, 2020, 11:24:56 AM
Hello guys . Good day.
I hope my post serves two purposes.
1. AS A PLEA
2. AS AN ENLIGHTENING AVENUE.
So I've been in the crypto space for almost 3 years now. Starting out from steemit and from there I became acquainted with the blockchain and it's workings. I was in school by then. Engineering school. It eased my schooling due to the new financial opportunity I had making money via blogging.
But fast forward to now. Steemit is arguably in the dumps now. The crypto blogging model isn't really sustainable now unless you know some whales who'd make the platform worthwhile for you.

So here I am after graduating engineering school and stuck at home without work due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Can anyone help with opportunities in the crypto space. I know there are a whole lot of them. I've been trying to do bounties recently. Trying to see how that comes out.
Can anyone help with community managing jobs? Or social media management for a project? Or content creation(Video reviews, article reviews and all that)? I got a YouTube page where I do reviews and I also do that on my steemit blog as well.
This is a call for help and not just for myself. I believe there are a number of community users here who have the same plight as me and would need help as well.
If you can be of help I would really appreciate it.

If you need any links to my work. I would be glad to send them.
PS : Moderators, I do hope I have not faltered by posting in the wrong place

There are indeed many jobs on BTT but it depends on your skills. You can try upwork and cryptojobs to find more suitable jobs. I won't recommend you to depend on bounties as they are  not always reliable. You can try the above two mentioned websites to find good jobs.

You can also create your own service thread on BTT, where you can mention your skills. This is the links https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0
5599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best time to begin your gambling affiliate journey. on: May 07, 2020, 09:51:33 AM
I have been into gambling affiliate marketing for a year now but it has hardly yielded any big benefits for me. I do know why you think that a pandemic situation like this can be utilised to our benefits. I have seen a steep decline in traffic on one of my website. It was better earlier than what it is now.
5600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest BTC Lotteries? on: May 07, 2020, 09:34:28 AM
I used to participate in the freebitco.in lottery even won it once.
Now days its seemed to have died down and no one says they've won anymore.
Lotto's went from 2btc to 0.6btc
I would like to see a forum lottery/raffle can we do that?*Drafting One

I have always avoided lottery it is a completely luck based game and a chance to win is very bleak. Whereas if you try to play some online games then the chance of winning is pretty much higher than lottery.
