561  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph- another "enhanced" KYC documents and process. on: March 22, 2023, 11:28:07 PM

562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 20, 2023, 10:11:09 PM
So we'll see.  Until then I'm betting against them every road game lol

Actually, a good choice to stick with until the end of the season knowing Warrior's losing streak on their road games is now to the point where it might be recorded as one of the league's worst-established records. The current record of the longest road losing streak by a defending champion was currently owned by the 98-99 Chicago Bulls which has 12 losing streaks.

Warriors are now on their 11th losing streak and their next 2 games were road games against Rockets and Mavericks (as also mentioned above).

Remaining road games:

against Denver Nuggets
against Sacramento Kings
against Portland Trail Blazers

Possible 16-road losing streak for the Golden State Warriors? Cheesy If let's say that will happened, and they won all their remaining home games, their final standing would be 41-41. Close to becoming a participant in the play-in tournament.
563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The journey of successful business man who were professional gamblers on: March 20, 2023, 09:55:12 PM
Gamblers might sometimes take advantage over the house, but in most cases, its always the house that will win over gamblers as gambling casino is certainly design to win, not to lose. However, if gambling casinos cannot stay on top of other casinos and fail to be competitive, then certainly it’s a loss for them. That’s the biggest challenge when you are in a business, you have to make sure that you’re always on top or has the edge over others, otherwise you will lost your business and eventually your expected profits too.

There's no such thing as gamblers will be able to take advantage of the house since in the very first place, there's even no advantage for the gamblers to start with. It's just that once a gambler successfully and continuously makes profits at some point in their session, always make sure to be responsible enough to know their limits.

Since the house was designed to favor the casinos obviously, gamblers should learn how to stop once a big profit is already been established. In that way, at least, their money is not just thrown always towards the site but rather should be able to enjoy the winning money outside gambling.

I know and understand the feeling of being tempted more to continue gambling once the winning streak is currently happening since why stop if luck is here? That was a tough challenge for gamblers to decide whether they will continue or stop.
564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: March 20, 2023, 09:40:27 PM
As for Radmanovich as their resident import, this is what I'm saying a few days ago that this might be his debut and his final game this season, but his performance on this game might be a good thing for him for some reason because there might be a chance that other team or the same team will get him when the conference where there is an import comes. Now they wanted him to be their resident import which is a good decision.

Actually, it was noted that "Vodanovich" (let's correct this. damn I know the full name of the import but what the hell I type Radmanovich of the NBA haha) was already on Coach Ayo's radar for a long time and he really wants to pursue him to be Converge's import. I think there is a conflict with Vodanovich's commitment to other leagues during the Commissioners Cup last year that's why Converge instead got Quincy Miller and in the following conference, Governors Cup, they got Jamaal Franklin. In fairness though, these 2 imports that Converge got are really talented and skilled but unfortunately, failed to take Converge into a top spot.

Converge is still a young team to consider under Coach Ayo and has lots of room for improvement. The question is if Vodanovich will accept the offer of becoming a resident import as that was a big decision to be made knowing he's currently also known to other leagues. Different from the story of Justin Brownlee where he's not even hyped when he joined Ginebra for the first time. He is not even a first choice as he was just a replacement import back then but Ginebra just trusts the process alongside him along the way.
565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | Unified WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | May 7 on: March 20, 2023, 09:18:30 PM
1.37 is a very low odd. I would rather take Inoue to win by KO as that is more interesting. It's still a gamble, though, as the fight could go to decision by the judges. But judging from most of Inoue's fights, they usually end up with KO.

Yes, it's low odds but actually, this is the first time I saw Naoya Inoue breaching odds over 1.1 in a big fight where he's the clear favorite.

Usually, you won't see bookies giving him around 1.2 at most of his bantamweight fights. It's really hard to bet when Inoue is on the line.

You know, this is a 12 round fight, you only need one round for Inoue to hit Fulton with a clean shot, and that might result to a KO.

Paul Butler, who is clearly on a much lower tier compared to Stephen Fulton obviously, lasted until 11 rounds before being KO by Inoue.

That might result in some bettors thinking twice if Inoue will win via KO against the champion, Fulton.

Who knows though? Really need to risk betting some money on a certain bet and see what will be the result.
566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 20, 2023, 08:51:06 PM
The only thing that stopped me from betting more is that I knew the judges will steal as many rounds as possible in favor of the biggest superstar in the sport.

Since most rounds are obviously won by Bivol, it would be hard for these judges to somehow intentionally manipulate the scorecards in favor of Canelo, if there's really an attempt to do it. There's even an analysis prior to that fight, that if Bivol wants to win, he should go with either Knockout or clearly win every round as there are saying that Bivol was not against Canelo but on everything.

On that match, Bivol made Canelo like a punching bag indeed. He's very fast for Canelo, his reach are to long for him and he's a good counter puncher as well. I expect that match to be at least not a one-sided match, but... it is what it is. Those who risked, and put their bet on Bivol on that match are the ones who are the winners aside from the 2 boxers of course.

Actually, Bivol is not that fast for Canelo. It's just that he's really good at finding an open spot to land a perfect blow. Aside from that, Bivol successfully made Canelo very disappointed and frustrated and that led Canelo not to be focused on the fight. Bivol destroyed his rhythm. If only Canelo stays his cool and calm state of mind, might be the close fight we expect the entire match.

Anyways, we might see a different Canelo now if ever a rematch with Bivol will happen. On the other hand, though, a different Bivol can be expected too.

Let's tune in first on their respective upcoming matches; Canelo vs. Ryder in May ; Bivol vs. ? in June.
567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 20, 2023, 08:35:12 PM
Grizzlies destroyed them last night. The best player for Warriors was Kuminga, that tells us something's wrong. I don't think Warriors can go far enough even if they get a spot in play-off.

"Particularly on that game", I agree with you that there's something really wrong but if that will be the focal point to determine how the Golden State Warriors will behave in the playoffs, I think that's not appropriate. What I stated previously, is "in general". Of course, things might changes as there are teams that really shown improvement this season.

Not a fan of the Warriors though and I don't really care where they will end up this year, but still, it's not that we can't expect them in an off-night mode always, especially in a series game. Well then, wait for the playoffs and see how far they will go this time.
568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 3 Reasons Why Cytpocurrency Gambling is more Addictive than Fiat Gambling! on: March 20, 2023, 08:26:58 PM
Do you guys think my assessment is to the point or do you think there are more reasons related to cryptocurrency gambling addiction? Please go ahead and reply to this thread. If you have a valid point that I think is related to this thread then I would add it to this topic.

You have valid pointers there but in general, there is no such thing as the [i"]TOP 3 reasons"[/i] to consider why cryptocurrency gambling is more addictive than fiat gambling, as that was all subjective to different gamblers.

I do admit that I'm a heavy gambler at both fiat and crypto and I never it came to the point that I will compare the experience between them. If you are not a regular gambler, I doubt you will understand the point of view of different gamblers.

Clearly, what you mentioned are those things that are not present in fiat gambling but on the other hand, for sure, there would be a counter statement that is in favor of fiat gambling. No point in comparing them but just enjoy what you preferred.
569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How my lack of knowledge has blinded me so far on: March 20, 2023, 08:18:10 PM
There are people like me who dislike KYC verification requirements from online casinos, and I always have two complaints about it.

1. Why the need for KYC.

2. Why pretend they won't ask for KYC, but ask for verification after a big win.

Regardless of how much we dislike KYC in gambling sites, especially crypto-gambling sites, that's their business, therefore their own rules. There's no Science here that we really need to technically know why these gambling sites do have related terms about KYC.

Simply, let's not make it too technical. We, as users need to do the adjustment. If in some cases our favorite and preferred gambling site, especially a crypto-gambling platform, mandate a KYC, either; you will comply with it or just stop using them and find another gambling site that will meet our criteria.

I'd rather be more concerned about how to win big instead of the issue of complying with KYC to be able to claim it lol. As long as a reputable site is concerned, I'm sure they won't likely do some shitty act to avoid rewarding the users with their big winning withdrawals.
570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why people promote gambling sites . on: March 20, 2023, 08:11:50 PM

You can call that way of marketing and promotion by these so-called influencers an act of being greedy, deceiver, unethical, inappropriate, or any word you like but in reality, who are the ones to need to adjust? That kind of marketing strategy won't be stopped and the cycle will just continue over and over.

Not just for the purpose of referral commissions but these streamers are also being paid for the number of views on that said platform. Most of them are not even affiliated with those sites they streamed but since there's an opportunity to gather many viewers there, they will just consider streaming it.

We can't stop or even minimize that way of marketing as that has proven to be effective at some point. If in some cases, you see a bullsh*t streamer based on your view, you can report them or even spread awareness about that said streamer as long as your claims are true. You can also educate newbies to always read anything about Terms and Conditions. For sure in the long run, as long as these newbies continue to lurk in the gambling world, they will soon become better users that know how to choose and determined a good gambling site.
571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Placing bet on WWE on: March 20, 2023, 07:58:49 PM
My opinion was that and it is still that I can not bet on fixed matches, almost everything about WWE is fixed.

I think the term "fixed" is not the appropriate word to apply to WWE matches because in the first place, there's no fixed and rigged matches there, and can be compared to the legit fixed matches that happened at some real sports events.

It's very clear from the start that WWE is just for entertainment purposes and that's what the acronym stands for.

Although I don't really understand why there are people who are interested in betting on such entertainment shows as most fights there are not even live. Even their biggest events, Royal Rumble and Wrestle Mania are mostly pre-recorded and results are even posted on their main website even prior to the officially scheduled telecast.
572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: March 19, 2023, 11:58:08 PM
Anyway, is the date for this fight set already?

As far as I know, no date yet and even the venue hasn't been officially announced.

What matter here is, this is a sure fight now as both boxers don't have any issue pursuing the fight.

I'm also not thinking that boxing politics such as promotional issues will happen here. 100% this fight will be pushed.
573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: March 19, 2023, 11:55:35 PM
As much as I want Converge to at least taste a bit of championship, that really low chance to happen as SMC teams will always be dominated the league.

If only fair trade is a thing in this league, independent teams like Converge have a chance to dominate.

As for Converge import, they are now considering him to be a resident import. A good plan but that depends on Radmanovich.
574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: March 19, 2023, 11:53:37 PM
Or should I say he hasn't faced a boxer who is as dominant as Inoue. We have our speculations, and I understand that most of us favor Inoue to win. Of course, it's not a no-brainer, but if the trend continues, Inoue might have a shot at taking Fulton's belt by knocking him out.

Maybe yes Maybe no. Fulton has a good opponent on his portfolio such as Brandon Figueroa who is no doubt one of the strong contenders in the super bantamweight and he is now in the Featherweight defeating Mark Magsayo recently.

Inoue on the other hand doesn't face yet a prime boxer that is of a high caliber. Maybe Donaire but already past his prime when Inoue faces him.

As for Inoue, he considered Stephen Fulton as the biggest challenge in his boxing career that's why I'm expecting him to be aggressive, as always.
575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: March 19, 2023, 11:49:58 PM
Quote
2. By chance Spence lost this fight and maybe go for a rematch
Hopefully if this scenario happens, Spence will be forced to risk his belt(s)

Do you mean Spence will stake his belts for the rematch with Thurman if he loses here? What will be forced is, Spence will risks his belt at 147 and might possibly face Crawford although as I said previously, there might not a chance now to see Spence fighting at 147 due to some problems.

I mean that's not possible since if the rematch will happened with Thurman, it will still be in 154 and his titles are all in 147.

I don't know though the rules of what will happen if let's say, Spence will ask for a rematch with Thurman and if he's still eligible to do that without vacating all his titles at 147. I think that's a rare case to happen or I just missed some same scenario in boxing history.
576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Random Number Generator and it's importance in Online Casinos on: March 19, 2023, 11:46:04 PM
In most cases, if you know you are on a reputable casino, you wouldn't ask anymore about its provable fairness.
But some players will test it from time to time, just to see if the casino is indeed honest about it.
But RNG and other provably-fair systems are just secondary if the casino already earned their credibility.
Normally, you can find such question to a new gambling site, just to test that they are indeed implementing the provable fairness.

And in some cases, there is surely a gambler that knows technically how to determine deeply the fairness of that site.

For sure, if they found something strange, they will question that said site.

Again as I mentioned, these reputable sites won't do some sh*t regarding the fairness of the game. That is something not make sense to do knowing how hard it is to gain people's trust and that it needs several years in making to make it happen.
577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much these features weigh most when you choose your favorite casino? on: March 19, 2023, 11:42:48 PM

- Strong community and reputation
-VIP perks and loyalty promotions
- Rakeback and rescue bonus

These are my priority. I don't mind KYC as that was a usual thing to do now, for me. I'm not afraid of this overreacting stuff about identity theft where others even post their real names and personal stuff on Facebook lol.

Bonuses and promotions are already common things to expect at all gambling sites.
578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 19, 2023, 11:40:25 PM
Maybe the fact that Bivol defeated a superstar in Canelo made him increase his points.

Not just that, Bivol just turned Canelo into a punching bag that no one might expect knowing Canelo is at the peak of his career during that time.

According to some stats, 97% of bets on that match are all in favor of Canelo.

Just imagine how underdog Bivol is prior to that fight. -440 was given to him which is equivalent to 18% winning the fight. Cheesy

579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the Strangest Bet You Have Ever Had? on: March 19, 2023, 11:35:09 PM

This might be not the strangest bet to consider for others. This a bet that something had a low chance to win but I was able to nail it. That makes it strange as only a few bettors might be able to risk decent money for it as it is almost impossible to happen.

Back in the 2016 NBA Finals, the Cleveland Cavaliers were against the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors are having the best season of that year finishing a big record in the history of the league with a 72-9 standing. They were 3-1 in the Finals and now need 1 win to be the champion. Imagine, a team with a record-breaking achievement in that season, Cavaliers need to beat them 3 times in a row, that seems impossible.

Guess what, a sudden turn of event happened as the Cavaliers did the impossible and become a champion that year. The big risks I faced paid off betting a place for the Cavaliers under being down by 1-3 really paid off.
580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 19, 2023, 11:28:14 PM
Experience really matter on important on crucial games but that will not come always as basketball always change. Warrior current rooster has to  many discrepancy and maybe this will result for their big lose if they can't fill this, also the absence of Wiggins in the rooster is a big gap to fill since we already see how important he is in the rotation so if he cannot go back on Playoffs maybe this will be though for them.

If they are complete with GP2 added in the rooster maybe they had a chance but we cannot say it will be easy for them to win a championship because we know how teams prepared also to win this season.

In fairness to Golden State Warriors though, this team is already proven to always show "big changes" once playoffs come.

Disregarding how bad they are and not well-performing in a season, that all will be erased once playoffs come and every team will start at a 0-0 standing.

I will still treat them as a big deal in the Western Conference once playoffs come. Prior to that though, they need to make the playoffs first, and looking at the current competition in the West, too tight that almost 9 teams are all possible to be in the play-in tournament.
