565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin banking system on: April 30, 2020, 01:38:29 PM
Hello! What's your opinion could BTC kill banking system? Bitcoin has an advantage over fiatbecause its amount is limited and it can't fall under inflation.Inflation usually is caused by monetary policies of our central banks. Bitcoin is free from inflation, governement control and high transaction fees.Banks can’t control BTC because it has no representative and is fully decentralized. That's why banks are afraid of BTC.

.If u like donate to my address :  19fCVjYVuppjhSvZc4fYimLSjTv63SyoYD

Yes, bitcoin is far better than fiat based system but unfortunately not many people or institutions realize this.
By the way, why should anyone denote you ? This is not a right way to beg for help or donation. I hope you understand it.
566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pet shop want to become a bitcoin exchange? on: April 30, 2020, 12:27:03 PM
I’ve got a pet shop and I wanted to accept bitcoin and alt coins then I was reading about becoming a bitcoin exchange ... is this possible? I understand it’s worth goes up and down.

If you accept bitcoin payment, it will be the first Pet store to accept the bitcoin as a payment method. I would like to know in which part of the world you have the Pet shop ?
Having an bitcoin exchange is something different or maybe you should explain clearly what do you mean by becoming a "bitcoin exchange" ?
567  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whale on: April 29, 2020, 03:20:02 PM
I often heard this word, whales. What is whales term on cryptocurrency? How does it affect the price of one coin?in what way?

Anyone who has a large quantity of certain coin, that person or group of people are considered as whales. Since they have a lot of money, they can buy or sell the coins in large quantity and market tends to pump and dump because of these whales. They are able to move the market in their favor.
568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is getting more adopted in my Country on: April 29, 2020, 02:08:02 PM
I remember that even before i enter Crypto ,our country has already ATM machine but until now the progress of this marke
t is still not that High and adoption still in process not like other countries that
now open their door for Bitcoin.I am not
saying that this is a Bad implication because there are many countrymen that i
come to Meet who has already Know bitcoin
what i am saying here is Don't expect too much mate because time will tell when adoption will finally come to our country.

You are lucky enough to have bitcoin ATM machines at your country which means that bitcoin is considered legal in your country.  I always wished to use those ATM but unfortunately we don't have them yet in our country. I hope other countries of the world will also quickly adopt bitcoin and crypto currencies quickly if they want to survive and progress quickly, they have to adopt block chain and crypto.
569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uber or Airbnb running on bitcoin on: April 29, 2020, 01:24:37 PM
I remember when both Uber or Airbnb each came out. You could save money using them. Now you can't.

Isn't there any good Uber or Airbnb type products that run on bitcoin?

Uber, Airbnb and Careem do offer different offers to attracted customers but they do not use bitcoins yet. There is a lot of competition between Uber and Careem services and if anyone of these two started using bitcoins and introduced bitcoin in their payment method, this could seriously boost their sales and customers.
570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why there is no Standard Marketplace like Amazon with BTC as payment method?? on: April 29, 2020, 01:10:15 PM
I know...there are smaller marketplaces that people can buy/sell goods via bitcoin, but why a major marketplace is not emerging??

I know for a fact, there is a huge demand for purchasing of goods with BTC...even users from this forum is enough to give the marketplace a supply chain issue Grin Grin

1. is the problem in supply side? are sellers worried taking payments via BTC bcas of volatility
2. is there a logistically inefficiency, that smaller sellers can never compete with the likes of amazon
3. is the transaction speed an issue for retail transactions?? major cards payments are done instantly (maybe this speed is needed for impulse purchases Cheesy)

Comment below...thanks i'm a newbie here Roll Eyes

Amazon currently do not accept bitcoins but one day when bitcoin will be used everywhere, Amazon will also accept it as a payment method. Also note that here are many small market places where only bitcoin is used, and no fiat option is there. The only issue is that there are still many people who do not know about bitcoins and sellers are bound to sell in fiat currencies.
571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Payment platforms that support Visa or Mastercard cards = the future of Bitcoin? on: April 28, 2020, 02:03:33 PM
Are payment platforms that support Visa or Mastercard debit/credit cards the future of Bitcoin? There are more and more payment platforms where you can just charge your debit card with Bitcoin and spend it like fiat anywhere in the world.

The support for bitcoin will increase with every day but for bitcoin to become official and mainstream currency, it should get support from the government officials which is hard to happen. Bitcoin is a direct threat to the banking system of the world and majority of the banks and financial institutions will never want bitcoin to grow and become a popular currency.
572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Body Of Control? on: April 28, 2020, 01:34:50 PM
If we were to go to a 100% bitcoin currency system. The banks and governments would loose control of whole financial system. The present governments would loose control.

Therefore a new system would be needed to run each country. What do you think would be the new body of control?
How could this work?
What type of system would be put in place on this.?
I don't think the people can control themselves as too many minds and ideas of where things can go in a direction. Therefore you still need a council or kingdom of control.

your thoughts.

Why do not need to control the world monetary system ?
The ideal situation will be that bitcoin is the only form of money and no one can control it but this model is not acceptable by governments because in this way they will lose control over the people but they can't even put taxes on the people.
573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the cure of COVID or CBDC BOOST BITCOINs price this year 2020 on: April 28, 2020, 01:13:18 PM
its been stated now, that during April, if BITCOIN can remain above $7700, we are looking at $8500 as the next stop. If countries slowly eliminate COVID completely, will it help boost bitcoins price even further or serve to deter bitcoin from increasing?. This is when the governments have no more COVID to worry about and focus on rejuvenating their economy. They would start implementing their own CBDC and digital currency like China probably this year as well. Will this be the true cause of the fall of bitcoin, or will bitcoin and crypto be integrated into their banking system?

First of all there is no link between covid and bitcoin prices. So if you have such a believe then you are wrong.
If bitcoin close below 7600$ today (28.04.2020) , then bitcoin might move towards 7200$. MACD and RSI are also turning bearish and volume is decreasing too.
Remember 6600$ is a strong support and 7800$ is a big resistance.
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase refuses to return USDT, although technically they can do it. on: April 28, 2020, 01:06:44 PM
In cases like this, it all depends on how things are set in TOS (terms of service), and Coinbase made a very clear point about it. Although technically possible, this situation requires expert technical staff and is not desirable from a safety point of view. In other words, a return on your assets would only pose a security risk to the company.

I'm not sure, but I don't think Coinbase has an official representative on this forum, so I recommend you to try get their attention on Twitter or Facebook.

great advice. I'll try to get their attention on twitter or facebook.

They will not respond you on twiiter or facebook. If they start doing this , then millions of users will bother them through social media. You have already tried the right way to reach their support and you got the answer from their support.

Do you think they will change their point of view, if you contact them through social media ? I am afraid but your money is lost because you send it to a wrong address.
575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Bitcoin on: April 28, 2020, 12:02:19 PM
There have been many different price prediction for Bitcoin made over the years. These range from the negative to the highly optiistic. Let’s look at some of the more famous examples. Unlike price predictions for various altcoins around, Bitcoin price predictions are often made by peple with either financial or technological backgrounds. according to me bitcoin will go up in future

Till date the bitcoin future is bright but we never know about the future. Bitcoin should replace the world fiat currencies but it is not sure if bitcoin will be considered a legal one world currencies or every country will develop its own digital currency. Some countries have already planned to develop their own national digital currency.
576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happend..... on: April 28, 2020, 07:43:44 AM
Hi all!

Am I the only one who feels the current Bitcoin/Crypto climate is going to shit? When I got into Bitcoin in 2013, this was the true new wild west so to speak. So what happend in the last 5-6 years?

Governments are trying to take back control with regulations and taxes.
Exchanges requiring ID (KYC) etc. (hahahahaha fail)
Developers are requested to make themselves public
Previously rather unknown people. but with success in crypto, are for some reason seen as some sort of "Messiah" (binance dev for example)
etc.
etc.
etc.

So why the hell.... Do we (community) go along with all that crap?

And IMHO, if you are happy with the current climate, you should not be in crypto at all!

Or have I smoked one too many? This is not what Satoshi wanted/meant when he created Bitcoin right?

Have a good one,
Towelie

In my country every local exchange wants you to first to through KYC if you want to trade or liquidate into local fiat. That is basically the reverse of what cryptocurrency is meant for.

Developers are requested to make themselves public because of so many scams happened in the past. Now, if they need investment into their projects they need to reveal their identity or create a project better than those which already exists.I support that too as it helps investors to gain trust.

Other than that everything else is a bunch of crap.

The main reason is that people try to cheat the system. For example many people started using exchanges for money laundering business and therefore there was no option but to make KYC mandatory. Decentralization is important and beneficial but at the same time some people exploit it for their own benefit.
577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin banking system on: April 27, 2020, 02:35:22 PM
Bitcoin is very strong , but another question we have to be asking ourselves is whether our government is going to let Bitcoin prevail?
Bitcoin gives us freedom, and to the government it is out of reach and cannot be controlled by them. So, do you think that they are going to allow people to go fully on Bitcoin? If they notice that majority of the people are starting to move away from fiat and moving into Bitcoin, they might start putting up a fight against it.

Some of them are now talking about creating their own cryptocurrency, and I saw news recently that China is close to releasing theirs, even saw someone that posted the Chinese cryptocurrency wallet, what it looks like in this forum.

This trend has already been started and china officially launched their first cryptocurrency. You can read more about it https://fortune.com/2019/10/29/china-digital-currency-facebook-libra-languishes/

If this trends continues, we will see every country developing its own digital currency and that currency will be managed by that respective state so it will be a centralized currency.
578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are having the difficult time, are you still a Bitcoin HODL? on: April 27, 2020, 02:07:26 PM
Bitcoin history teach us that every panic time to buying time and every fomo time is selling time .

I also hold and trying to buy every dip in all deep and big crash step  Cool Cool

Its always difficult to determine which is a perfect buying or selling time. I always prefer long term investment in bitcoin. If you have the power to hold the bitcoins for over a year or two, you can easily make a lot of good profit from it. But there are people who do not have extra money for investment in bitcoins, so they need quick profit for their investment in bitcoins which is not always possible.
579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Education on: April 27, 2020, 01:53:39 PM

I thought it was already introduced into the school curriculum and universities...
In some schools yes but not the majority because Only those develop countries that understand crypto are those offering the course so it means limited until now,But of course there are some online sites that offers also same education for interested people, some are free and some are with payments.

But i believe that sooner it will be open in most universities or even in secondary highschool as we are now getting closer to Computer world when everything relies in computer and man power only requires in limited occasions.

For bitcoin to be included in the school course curriculum, it needs to be first made legal by the countries. How can you include anything in the course which is not legal in most of the countries.  In my country, some people are offering courses on blockchain or crypto trading but that is being done at a personal or private level. There is no official course launched by our government.
580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig W. only claims to be Satoshi, because he knows the real Satoshi is dead? on: April 27, 2020, 01:28:15 PM
Craig Wright only wants to get public attention, so he claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto. After all, how would Craigs Wright know Satoshi
Nakamoto has died, while Satoshi Nakamoto identity is unknown. Several times claiming he was Satoshi Nakamoto was useless, as long
as can't show proof that craig wright is satoshi nakamoto. Now craig wright is known as faketoshi.

Many people tried to claim themselves Satoshi Nakamoto including Craig Wright. Satoshi Nakamoto did not reveal himself to the public for whatever reason, therefore many people tried to take advantage of that by presenting themselves to be (fake) Satoshi. No body believed Craig Wright when he claimed to be the founder of bitcoin.
Also where is the original  Satoshi Nakamoto , dead or alive , no body knows ?
