Maybe so,BUT,have YOU made your own cables I have & am anal about getting it right the FIRST time ............. Yes, i always make my own cable Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, Ho Ho Ho. I hope all of you enjoy this holiday While waiting for my HEX16A2, i make power connector for the miner which will get power from EPS 12V connector from PSU. I use EPS 12 V because my PSU not fully modular & come with 2X EPS 12V connector, so waste to not use them Seasonic M12II Bronze 620W Buy cheap ATX 20 to 24 pin converter on ebay to make the connector Then cut down the require segment that match EPS 12V connector, replace the cable to meet power requirement. Base on observation with HEX16A, using only 1 wire, the yellow wire on PSU side is little warm. So i decided to use two wire & use 1,5 mm2 wire on miner side so loshia won't scold me So whenever the HEX16A2 come with molex or terminal screw, it's doesn't matter ................
Not all PSU's have the 8 pin CPU pinouts the same as PCIE,some actually reverse the wires outside the PSU (the cables),some reverse the wires inside.
..........
EPS & PCIEX had different shape. They should not had same shape pinout.

you can run command: But turn off the PSU is fine
nope i dont need that anymore, i have a fan that powered by a 1 molex connector that can be series each other Thanks! and God Bless!!!!! You are welcome dude. Just monitor the temperature. Happy mining
Nice find!!!! The problem with most PSU's is ALL wires are black.................got to use a voltmeter to be SURE of + & - Not quite true. The connector shape can not fit if plug it in wrong direction.

Not sure how marcotheminer is going to compete with Bitmixer after the New Campaign features and fact you can easily earn 0.035 Bitcoin per week now.
Nothing to compete with really. Indeed, 0.035 BTC per week for 50 post. A month is 0.14 BTC for 200 post. BIT-X pay 0.0012 per post. 200 post is 0.24 BTC BIT-X still higher. Yes...paid higher but not all poster can enroll this campaign. Bitmixer allow all poster enroll anytime without any tough restriction also provide weekly payment Indeed, only poster like me can join

No wonder the wire getting warm. I just find out that corsair VS550 only had one 6 pin from PSU. You need at least 2 separate connection from PSU. Sorry dude, i didn't check the 6 pin availability. From power aspect, VS550 can work. But you need at least 2 6pin from psu, not 2 6pin on one wire. It's like this right? This count as one, not two
do you mean the 6pin? my PSU have 2 6pin only.
Yes. The two 6 pin already used on S3+ ? Theoretical, two 6 pin is already enough. But the warm wires are normal? can i put like 2 fans to cool down the wires? It's shouldn't warm in my opinion. Did all 6 pin warm or only one 6 pin? If the 2 6pin had same warm temperature then, the connection is fine. Just make sure it don't move to hot

Thank you very much, i will unplug the sata now. By the way, what is the best pool for the Antminer S3+?
Sorry dude, i can't answer that since i don't own Antminer S3+ Ohhhh, its ok. By the way is it normal that the wire turns warm? Use 1 plug per connection. There is 4 pciex power plug right, so use 4 connection.

Hi!!!!! Nope. It only supplying the S3+ Thank you very much for your reply! Did the PSU shutdown too? If yes, maybe you need to put some load on +5V rail.
