If this is the case, I suggest them to ask bluemeanie1 to return the money as soon as possible.
I won't be holding my breadth on any money return. The guy just showed up recently in Nxt forum/thread. Why was he even given money at all? John is someone who has been around with Nxt for a long time. In fact it goes back to early December when Nxt was very new https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=345619.msg4025981#msg4025981bluemeanie1 of course doesn't know that as he himself is someone totally new to Nxt and most likely he is the scammer.

Anyway, what are your reasons fro opposing the auction?
Because it's a second IPO before the launch to collect even more money. The stakes should be divided equally among the current stakeholders. Why you so worring about money? I as a stakeholder am entitled worry, especially after the leadership has proven to be not honest. If this whole project is a money making scheme for just 8 people, lets say it straight.

guy comes out of nowhere talking up NXT.
He didn't come out of nowhere. I remember John was involved in Nxt even back in January. bluemeanie1 is someone who came out of nowhere.

Fuck me!!
Wasnt this massive trash-talker "bluemeanie1" paid to do some coding for NXT???
If true, bluemeanie1 is a thief. He should return the money, but I won't be holding my breadth.

The auction as you may remember emerged as an idea from the community(while NXT AE wasn't around and wasn't even a though) with the purpose to attract a good deal of attention and helping a lot of other people to join before our official launch(There was a high demand for it). After we did the NXT AE listing the auction remained in place because of the same reason and because it is still relatively hard for new people to buy NEM via NXT AE.
There is a big difference. Nxt AE trades are done among users. The auction money will again be controlled by the "developers". Why so much centralized money controlled by just a few people? That's in addition to 25% Nem that they will control and nothing yet known about what will happen to unclaimed stakes (could be 25% more -- potentially making total 50% controlled by a just a few). If they want to do auction, how about doing it with their 15% of the stake (which is equal to 600 stakes a very big chunk)

Winnas0.2 has beed rebuilded from scratch with MultiGateway. V_0.2 need more test, deposit, withdraw & transfer etc, all history of Multigateway are in nas blockchain. Generate BTC/NXT address need 10NAS fee.
How exactly does MultiGateway work? Is there a third party server where bitcoin private key is stored? Who owns that server? What if that server is hacked? Who is responsible for stolen money?

I oppose pre launch public auction, as that means 400 BTC IPO is going into someone pocket at current prices.
If developers want 400 BTC more, why they also need 15% stake too (which is 600 million Nem)
Im thinking quite same, what is the purpose for collect more BTC ? Otherwise, could we use that money to big marketing campaign or made bounties to new devs ? Or just share all btc with old stake holders It's basically designed to collect even more money. So first we had an IPO (which we are not supposed to call "IPO") that collected 60+ BTC and several thousand Nxt. Then we will have a second IPO where 200 more stakes are "auctioned" again for even BTC, this time at muh higher prices (potentially 400 BTC). Double the fun. Then 15% developer stakes and 10% more reserved for future (25%) -- and no answer on what will happen to unclaimed stakes that could be as high as 25% more (making 50% controlled by "developers")

any plans to get it on an exchange?

Just a heads-up from the Nxt world:If you haven't seen this thread, please check it out: " Big scam in NXT hundreds of BTC stolen with a one post" Best estimate is that a scammer stole ~200 BTC from trusting Nxters through the Asset Exchange. The amount stolen has made the fellow who scammed us look like a small-change hustler... This has nothing to do with asset exchange. It was "trade" (Btc for Nxt) A reputable member was selling Nxt for BTC but his forum account (not his Nxt account) may have been hacked. The real number is a lot smaller than 200 BTC as the hacker himself could be sending himself the BTC to make himself look more legit

In Qora having all the coins in one address does not increase the chance of generating a block - which other coin can fordge like that?
That's pretty similar to Nxt. which other coin has Stake Voting system? nxt? nas? ntx? nfd? n2? - sorry the answer is none of them Voting system was planed since the launch. The code is already there but not yet live. I won't call it a killer "feature" as it's not high priority. There are other most interesting things coming up, like decentralized digital good store and automated transaction (that will allow, things like crowdfunding, lottery, auctions, Dormant Funds Transfer, etc and much more)

Qora is the first to have: Password protected wallets that can be recovered/generated from seeds. Naming Service exchange New Proof-of-Stake algorithm. Proof-Of-Stake Stake Voting system
None of these things are new or unique to Qora. Even bitcoin 3 year old wallet (electrum) has " Password protected wallets that can be recovered/generated from seeds."

small problem to create new account and setting MY OWN password. i create a new account to make it, to my new base account. but @ the point "secret password phrase" i get only a given password automated by the site and i cant set my own "35 digit ultra secure" password There is a link underneath in small letters that says "Want to choose your own secret phrase? Click here." this automated password from the site, these 12 words, should be the most safest password ? and i dont cant change my password afterwards.
Yes, the generated 12 word password is pretty safe too. It has 128 bits entropy just the same as curve25519 or bitcoin's Secp256k1

What to do to start forging, it still says my effective balance is zero.
publish pubkey wait 1440 blocks. Yo don't have to publish public key to forge. Forging itself (if you find a block) will publish public key. 1440 confirmation wait is still needed. By the way, how many total NFD coins? 4 billion or 10 billion? Need to have an outgoing transaction to generate the public key. e.g. send some nfd to self, or register an alias, then wait 1440 blocks to forg. I know that, but even if someone doesn't have outgoing transaction, they can still forge (after 1440+ confirmation) and if they forge a block that act -- forging a block -- itself will publish the public key It's good idea to do outgoing transaction for security reasons, but there are big Nxt accounts (millions of nxt) that don't have outgoing transactions but are safe as they have forged blocks.

As we said before launch will be without a EUR / USD integration (after the launch and distribution of coins we start working on this option) Briefly about this technology, it will be created the site "NodeBank" through this website users will be able to replenish the account EUR / USD (VISA, PayPal ....) in the system "Node" NodeBank <= API => Node, Node transaction within the system USD / EUR will not differ from the transaction NodeCoin
This is total fantasy for various reason (1) It's illegal to exchange US dollars without properly registering and paperwork. (2) You have to have proof from the users of their identity (valid ID, proof of residency). (2) Visa/Paypal transaction are reversible (chargebacks are possible for upto 30 days). There is no way you can integrate that kind of system in the core. It requires a third party -- a gateway -- like bitstamp gateway on ripple.

LOL so now we have an ultra-NXT-supporter but offensive troll? no, he is just as a sock puppet of Come-from-Above and he is trolling. put him on ignore

Transaction fees. Every Nxt transaction costs min. 1 Nxt
Transaction fee can be lowered sometime in future. Right now it's still only 7 to 8 cents.
