581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Become Negative in Value? on: April 27, 2020, 01:06:43 PM
I was shocked for reading a market breaking new as strange as this.

I paused and reflected again and again by applying this condition to other market assets.

I read from Blomberg that the price of crude oil has declined into a negative  of $-37.63/barrel.

What will happen to countries that depend solely on crude oil revenue?

What will happen to the investors in crude oil?

A very serious reflection is that fact that, is it possible for bitcoin value to also drop into the negative?

What if the following happen:
1. A ban in the demand for bitcoin and a ban in the use of bitcoin.
2. Backing off of bitcoin miners from the business of mining?

Could these causes bring the value of bitcoin to something similar to the historic oil Price drop of $-37.63?

What do you have to say about this?

Bitcoin is entirely different from oil. Bitcoin can never be zero or below. The only scenario where i can see bitcoin going to zero is people stop using bitcoins and there is no demand (maybe an issue is triggered in the blockchain). If that happens, bitcoin will be finished. Don't expect bitcoin to go to zero and bounce back from there. It will be dead forever if it goes to zero in value.
582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet advice? on: April 26, 2020, 11:21:48 PM
I am new to Bitcoin and in the process of setting up a small farm in the basement of my business premises here in the UK. Obviously I need to open a wallet however there doesn't seem to be much discussion or advice available on wallet providers. I've read a few reviews doing a Google search but these often seem biased. I've read some glowing reviews about Blockchain, Coinbase and ZenGo on some sites, however when you read the Trustpilot reviews (a popular review website here in the UK) the ratings are very bad for these wallet suppliers with lots of horror stories.

Can anyone make some recommendations for safe and reliable wallet providers?

You may use any wallet for which you have control on the private keys. This will include the desktop wallets and the mobile wallets. Avoid the online wallets like coinbase etc, because they do not give you the private keys. Also some people store their coins on the exchanges , which is also dangerous as exchanges could be hacked or scam.
583  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Common Cryptocurrency Scams and How to Avoid Them on: April 26, 2020, 03:20:13 PM
We have to be extra careful when using out bitcoins on the internet. There are a lot of phishing sites and other method which are used to trap the newbies and even the experienced into their trap.
If someone asks you for an investment and promise for a lot of return, be careful not to trust anyone blindly.
584  Economy / Services / Re: 💰Fundraising campaign-Feed the one who are affected by the COVID-19 🦠Pandemic on: April 26, 2020, 03:01:36 PM
Excellent initiative! Please can you give a stream or pictures here because I want to see the happy faces of the poor people who are suffering now days, it gives me a relief when I see someone happy whoever it is.

I think it is not a moral thing to take pictures when you distribute the food and things to the needy one. This will make the poor think that they are so helpless. I think we should help the poor without making their pictures as the motive is to help the people only without disclosing their identity.
585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Overview List of Exchangeable Bounty Campaign on: April 26, 2020, 02:38:57 PM

        586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee 2020 Prediction on: April 26, 2020, 02:10:01 PM
Honestly, I almost believe this guy on 2017, I entered and was new at crypto that time but now I think this guy is a clown. Those influencers are not effective anymore and they are just telling things they want to, even if they have no basis at all. Now his promoting monero, etc. Maybe he is being paid for it or wants to be paid by it? Predicting is not bad, but if you made a wrong prediction and you are paid for it that is totally bad. If I am not mistaken this guy promoted some project and it went scam.

Every serious Bitcoin user stopped to follow  so called Bitcoin experts like this guy long ago. Like you've said they say whatever they like and that is usualy not connected with any facts or true situation on cryptocurrencies market so everyone who listens such predictions and analysis might get completely wrong decisions so it's better to just ignore it.

When i was very new in the bitcoin world, i followed him a lot and was impressed by his predictions and always thought they could become true one day. But to my disappointment, none of his predictions was correct. I have stopped following him now and would advise everybody to do their own research instead of following others.
587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most gamblers can never hold onto big bag? on: April 26, 2020, 01:55:52 PM
How come he lost everything one day? Do most of the gamblers lose money in such way?
Your friend is the most unlucky person, why doesn't he stop when he gets 30 ETH in two stages of his victory, he's really bad luck.

If you are a gambler you got to overcome your habit of greediness. Most of the gamblers lose their earned money only because of their greediness. If the OP was not so greedy, he would have been enjoying 30 eth as it is not a small amount.
588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: COVID-19 - Is Bitcoin still our sole safe haven at periods of economic crisis? on: April 26, 2020, 01:31:46 PM
The most recent fall of Bitcoin was as seen as result of the outbreak of coronavirus.

I don't think so that the recent dump was due to virus. Yesterday and today bitcoin is pumped about 600$, so why it is so ? Coronavius , economic unstably and uncertainty is still there, then why bitcoin is price is again high ?

If you like this post, be sure to drop me some merits! 😇
        Thanks.

Don't beg for merits, rather earn them. If you have not begged, someone might have given you merits.
589  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: My F****** Story With KRYPTONO Exchange on: April 26, 2020, 01:19:51 PM
Hello guys, So here is an email that I sent to Kryptono exchange. Sorry for my bad english and for my bad words. I was and still so angry  Angry Angry Cry
        Email:
"this maybe the 100th time I email you.The first time I deposited Rippels, You took more than a week to credit the coins to my account. Then I changed the XRP to BTC and I wanted to withdraw my BTC you said btc walled is on maintenance. so I fucking wait for a week and you didn't fix that So I tried to trade my bitcoins into another withdraw-able coin. And guess what happens each time I place an order in many coins; the price goes up in a crazy way. So I assume you made a script or a code so when someone place an order the fake market you show to us do like that so we buy coins with a very high price you fucking scammers. And today I had enough, I said Okay, I'll loose some coins and I traded BTC to TUSD and Ofc as I expected I bought TUSD with a crazy high price and I lost 25% of my initial deposit. I thought I'll be able to withdraw my remaining coins though. And What a surprise; my withdrawal gets rejected every time. I'm really mad right now. You know what, If I didn't get a response on this request within 2 days. Keep The fucking coins and I'll spread this email + Recordings on how your fucking fake market behaves (it's a fake system to fool us) everywhere so that people won't get scammed by you and I'll make a scam alert against you."

First of all, if any service /exchange does not respond to you on first few emails, there is no point in emailing them 100 times.
Secondly if you're new to crypto, who told you to deposit  With KRYPTONO Exchange ? If any friend of yours told to do so, ask him WHY ?
Rest, the bitter truth is that your funds are lost.
590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin moves like Gold? on: April 26, 2020, 01:08:33 PM
Not exactly, these are two different investments with different goals.

The biggest difference between gold and bitcoin investment is

        - Gold investment is Low risk  while bitcoin investment is High Risk
        - Gold will give you less ROI while Bitcoin will give you more ROI (Return on Investment)
591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than your bank! on: April 25, 2020, 06:48:22 PM
Bitcoin and banks, although they have some common features, however, these are completely different concepts that have different functions and roles in society. Banks are a single network of financial institutions that perform much more extensive functions in society than Bitcoin and the entire decentralized cryptocurrency. Banks generally serve the state and the country's economy and are under reliable state protection.
Bitcoin, like the whole decentralized cryptocurrency, is only an alternative means of payment and I would say an additional financial asset to the existing traditional assets and therefore it cannot and cannot replace them, let alone replace the entire banking system.

In short, banks will get closed in the future and bitcoin will be the future currency of the world. Banks exists because of the fiat currencies and we all know that these fiat currencies are centralized controlled. With the more use of bitcoins, people will remove their money from the banks and buy crypto, and that will bring end to these banks.
592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [OPEN] wayki chain ambassador request signature campaign - miss 7 full members on: April 25, 2020, 03:07:58 PM
I agree , that's still hard for other members to complete the rules of 20 post in 3 sections only. If I calculated it right you need to make 4 post a day in that 3 sections  which is hard because there are not always a new topic created on that section.
Can I request reverse the rules instead of 20 to 3 section do it 10 and 20 post to other sections .

Just a tips I've been in a campaign before they only required 20 post a week and 7 post  only for the section they want us to post.

guys 20 posts in 3 BIG subsection is less then 3 posts at day
        3x7=21

That equation is not difficult at all. Also we have to only make a total of 30 posts in all and that is 7 x 4= 28  and add 2 more.  Smiley

By the way what is the cutoff time & day of week 1 ?
593  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Covid-19 a cause for BTC price drops? on: April 25, 2020, 03:00:02 PM
Although Halving has come close, it seems that there is no optimistic signal that BTC will rise. Currently Corona Virus is making it difficult for the leading economies in the world. And is that the main cause of Bitcoin price drops? Let me give you some possibilities
        1. Unemployed people do not have income so they do not dare to invest in Cryptocurrency.
        2. The psychology of fear that if we die by Virus and die, investing in Cryptocurrency will not bring anything when we die
        3. In a difficult economy, investors need to withdraw assets and sell cash to maintain businesses such as payroll, purchase and sale of goods instead of investing in cryptocurrencies.
        4. The disease has not yet been controlled, the economy has not shown signs of recovery, so investors are afraid of not participating in the Cryptocurrency market.

Yesterday we received a positive signal from BTC which suggests a rise in the price after halving. The price will rise as after each halving, at the same time we are coming out of this crisis situation COVID-19. We are also coming out from this crisis

Actually, the price in € crash the 8th or 10th march if i remember, since then the price of BTC just rise again from 3.900 aprox to 6900€ today

There was a slight dump in the price but now the price is again rising. If i remember correctly, when the covid-19 panic started, the bitcoin price was near 7200$. It moved down to 6900$ but it is now even more higher these days, 7511$ to be precise. I would say that bitcoin stood strong in all these times.
594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] JSEcoin on: April 25, 2020, 02:50:15 PM
Today i checked and found that we can no longer login the site as there is no prompt for username and password. All our mined coins are lost forever.

The login button does not work.

Its clearly written that the project will end on 21 April which is already gone. If you had the coins on the site, you needed to transfer them prior to the deadline to the exchange. Now you cannot login and your coins are lost forever because you did not follow the instructions properly.
595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin spread rapidly on ‘China Twitter’ the price will rise before halving on: April 24, 2020, 06:03:05 PM
Lol, is this the first time that Chinese heard about halving? I doubt that, remember majority of the miners are in China so they have long been waiting and anticipating the block halving. Google trends? of course, everyone is at home, so obviously, the search will spike. I doubt that this will cause the price to spike prior to halving, everyone has been accumulating specially 2018-2019, so the price is already in. Maybe this is a bear trap, no expert in trading, but I'm not comfortable seeing the price going up like this.

Do you think that the current spike in btc is artificial and bitcoin will dump, then it is Bull trap, not a bear trap. I can't say with surely where bitcoin will dump on halving or pump, but in the long run bitcoin will pump big. By the end of December 2020, bitcoin will surely cross 20,000$ and then 2021 will be a great year for bitcoin.

        599  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top 5 Predictions For Cryptocurrencies In 2020 on: January 29, 2020, 02:07:45 PM
A new year – at the start of a new decade – always feels like a fresh start. The last two years have been a bit sluggish for the crypto assets industry, but things are likely going to change as we go into the 2020s. Here are the top 5 predictions for 2020, and how you can use them to your advantage.

        Read more here: https://zycrypto.com/top-5-predictions-for-cryptocurrencies-in-2020/

Five different predictions does not make nay sense. I would be happy to know if anyone can predict one correct value of bitcoin.
No one can predict it precisely.
600  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What’s Stopping Crypto Markets from Entering the Mainstream on: January 27, 2020, 08:03:26 PM
As far as bitcoin is concerned there are some issues like scalability and high fees. In my view apart from regulations, these are some serious issues that are hindering its adoption in mainstream payment system.

Bitcoin lighting network solves most of these issues.
Its still the people in power which is stopping the growth of bitcoin.
