Wow NZ beat ENG by 14 runs and are leading the series 2-1. Until over 15, ENG were in full command , scoring boundaries in every over and looking to win the match. Then came the streak of losing wickets  Lips sealed Great comeback from NZ

I could not watch any of the match of this series. But this? this is the true strength of our world champion LOL. I do not think England has a chance to win the series. Coming from behind is not going to play easy for England.

Main culprit is Krunal Pandaya though, good fielder but dropped the sitter.
Well it's part of the game. Let's not blame one guy for everything.
India did not bat as expected
India did not field as expected
India did not bowl as expected

And after all these, how do you expect a win. If they want to win the next match then they will have to do better than what they did in this match.
5962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Mutual betting pool] India vs Bangladesh 2nd T20I on: November 05, 2019, 06:55:36 AM
Nice to see the mutual betting. I expect the match to be abandoned because of the cyclone alert, so I'll also make a bet just before the cutoff time if they're going to play.
Please be noted that the cutoff time is one and half hour before the match starts. Feel free to send any amount (max 5mBTC) and pick your team.

But if it was ENG Vs NZ, we could see a good competition and would be more enjoyable imho.
Yeah I get that. This is just an experiment. We never had this king of arrangement before in here. If this turns our entertaining then we can do it regular basis in close matches, I mean against those teams who are close in strength.

I don't have  LN wallet yet however I think from the next release of Electrum when they will have this LN feature, I will defiantly have one :-P

Edit: I might actually be able to free something up from one of my exchange accounts if not.
I will only have this LTC that mentioned in the title. Do not have any plus/minus :-D
5964  Economy / Currency exchange / Have 0.0759 LTC want BTC Binance rate on: November 04, 2019, 07:13:40 PM
I would like to exchange 0.0759 LTC for BTC. If you are interested then PM me or comment here.

Cheers,

PS: User Haunebu will send you the LTC for me. You can see the details in here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5198546.msg52982797#msg52982797

Thanks for helping.
5965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Mutual betting pool] India vs Bangladesh 2nd T20I on: November 04, 2019, 07:06:50 PM
Alright. Can you send 0.0005 BTC to the pool for me? I can send the equivalent LTC amount when you say so to the address that you specify. Thanks again.
Done!
Currently it's 0.006612BTC/LTC at Binance.
I have sent you 0.00050181 BTC
tx: 4945592b31874d4c43d5ff44230b2a547e26a161dbb3af1f3404da35d4faf13f

So if my calculation is correct then you owe me 0.0759LTC. I will create a trade in the exchange section. And if anyone buys it then you will need to send it to them.

Anyway, update me with your team selection with the tx above so that I can quote it on the OP.

You nailed it and it would be interesting to see his response (GP's) in here.

Since the max amount you can send in this pool is 0.005BTC only and many people will be willing to send even less than this amount, the bitcoin tx fee can be a burden but go through this article on  Fees are low, use this opportunity to Consolidate your small inputs!, can help save your tx fee to the minimal.
Unless something is very much time sensitive, I always use 1 sat/byte fees :-P
Everyone is welcome to use that. I have this bc1 format address which means the fees will be lesser than the usual if you use 1 sat/Byte. For my tx it cost me only 141 sat LOL

Really, emails are written? Cheesy
Explain "written" in your own words granny.

We know you're illiterate (presumably your "lawyer" takes the time to read these posts aloud to you), but surely you recognise that emails are generally composed of a written language of some form, even if you don't understand it? I mean, you can see the strange symbols of the alphabet arranged in patterns that literate people call "words" and "sentences" and which are collectively known as "writing", right? Roll Eyes
Does this mean, GP does not have the intellectual level even of a 5 year kid?

I already have sent the amount with a higher fees, then this Huh Hope we can see a minimum limited over match.
I know. By any chance if we do not see the 2nd T20I is happening then we can either send the coins back to the senders addresses or we can reserve it for the next match. We are never out of options of course.

I am interested if anyone is going for Bangladesh in the late minute. Imagine if Bangladesh wins by any chance and if anyone goes with Bangladesh then they will have really a big win judging from the two Indian stake so far :-P
5970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 04, 2019, 05:12:17 PM
The next T20 match between India and Bangladesh looks doubtful. The match is supposed to take place in Rajkot. But the problem is that Cyclone Maha is expected to make a landfall near Rajkot in the next few days and very heavy rains are expected for the entire week. Chances are that the match will be washed out without a single ball bowled. BTW, the third match is scheduled at Nagpur, and hopefully we will get a result from that one.
Really! After all these hard work for the mutual betting pool, you gave this news :-D
I hope we have the match but the mother nature does not want it then we can not do anything about it. Anyway, I think India will crash the Bangladesh team in the next match.

~snip~
Sure i will be joining that and thanks for starting a mutual bet.
Glad to hear it. Let's make it entertaining together.

Can you create a LTC address? I will send you LTC to your new LTC address and you can add the equivalent BTC amount into the pool. This is easier when compared to the exchange tip that you suggested.
I never had any LTC so never had an address too.

Anyway, let me know what amount you want me to send to the pool. I will send it and I will create an exchange topic where if anyone is interested to have the BTC then they can have them and in exchange I will get the BTC back from the user.

You can use coinplaza to swap with a significant lower fee. I have been using that site for a while. If you are interested, I would love to share my referral link through PM.

@Haunebu or you can have this option if this is continent for you.
5972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 04, 2019, 04:15:18 PM
The loss by India messed up many people in the market  Cheesy. People who are betting should watch the team selected for a series and i already posted the team members selected for this series and i am surprised when everyone was crying about the dismal performance of India as they completely went with a new time against the Bangladesh series as they never took the visiting Bangladesh team seriously.
Well obviously it was a disaster for punters LOL. I was lucky that I did not gamble in that match. By the way, did you see the new pool I created for the 2nd match. Since things turned out very interesting by the win of Bangladesh then why not make it more entertaining. If you are up for mutual betting then feel free to join us. Here: [Mutual betting pool] India vs Bangladesh 2nd T20I

I guess the pool will not be more than 0.01 BTC which you can be entrusted with unless anyone else have an argument. I have no problem if you hold the fund.
Thank you. Well I too think that we won't have much however for any amount if anyone raise any doubt then feel free. I would not mind to call DS.
5973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Mutual betting pool] India vs Bangladesh 2nd T20I on: November 04, 2019, 04:07:19 PM
This is great. Can you provide a LTC address since BTC fees are pretty high these days? Exchanges like Yobit charge 0.00012 BTC fees for a BTC transaction while they charge dust for a LTC transaction.
Never dealt with this LTC LOL always was a bitcoin guy :-P
By the way, do you want me to open a trade in the exchange section so that if anyone is interested for the LTC then they can take it and in exchange they can send the BTC in the pool address? You can do it by your own too. Just make sure you tell me that your receiving address will be different if you win.

Quote

Also, what is up with 'Send an amount between 0.0005BTC to 0.0005BTC'? Both the min and max are same. Do you mean '0.00005 to 0.0005'?
LOL just realized the it was a mistake in the OP. I wanted to mean the minimum stake is 0.0005BTC and the max is 0.005BTC but I see RapTarX sent an amount of 0.0004BTC. So let's not have a minimum amount. Just the max stake which is 5mBTC.

Edited the OP.

Quote
Will you be conducting this pool for the 3rd T-20 too?
If this brings enough fun then I would love too :-D

I hope someone stake a little BTC for Bangladesh, otherwise, pool BTC will be sent to whom? In case, no one stake for Bangladesh but Bangladesh win.
In this case I will send the amounts back? or we can use this for the next T20I if everyone agree. You will just have option to give your selection again.

By the way, anyone can bet for the other team too :-P
Just make sure it comes from a different tx coz he winner will get the amount in the address the fund came from. This way things will be easier for me I guess.

Definitely. Count me in. Are you talking about Onehash style mutual betting? What is the entry fee? Will you be using superbru for these contests just like before?
Yes oneHash style. Not using any third party website coz it's just an draw win draw market. Here is how I am thinking.

We will have an address to send the money.
Say you send X amount and someone else sent Y amount and the other one Z amount. You picked India and the other one guy picked Bangladesh and the other one picked India.

So here we have 2 India and 1 Bangladesh. And say the pool has 3mBTC
Now if India wins then you two share the inning based on the percentage of the stake you had.

X=0.0005BTC
Y=0.0015BTC
Z=0.001BTC

X and Y is India and India won. So the winner's will get:
X <<< 0.0005+0.00025 = 0.00075
Y <<< 0.0015+0.00075 = 0.00225

Obviously there will be a tx fee to deduct.

I hope it make sense.
I am in too.
Let's have a minimum or 0.00005 to max of 0.005 for per users? I mean one can send any amount in between and their team to pick. We will need a separate thread for this of course.

Edit:
Okay here is the topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5198546.0

Please feel free to join.

PS: I hope you guys will not mind me holding the fund? If any hesitation then we can call DarkStar_ to hold the fund for us. Last time he was holding for us.

Yeah mate it seems fairly obvious to me that the guy who had quoted you was referring to the person in the screenshot in the OP as being a bot, not you yourself.

I'm actually curious to see if someone could make a bot using machine learning to try to game signature campaigns...considering how many low-quality posters get through it would probably actually be quite successful.
Okay I get it now, from the contents of the image LOL
Well it seems like some kind of bot posting to me too. This is what I guess that happened there:

1. The poster copied and post from someone from the same thread
2. They used article spinner to hide plagiarism
3. Either they used bot or did it manually to post the spinned post.

5978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have anyone tried to stop gamblers from losing while they keep on wagering. on: November 04, 2019, 11:30:28 AM
~snip~

Recently while playing dice, I saw a person who was wagering with large funds to recover the loss. By the time he has lost part of what I have lost. I texted him my experience, and suggested to stop it before things go out of his hands. He didn't responded, finally he lost everything. Have any of you got such experience.
Whatever you did there was really a good move. It does not matter if the other side the guys heard you or not.
Anyway, with me I had this addiction long ago and I got some family support to recover it. When thing really goes out of hand, family is the one who can help you.

These days, I am not much serious gambler and whatever I do, I do them for fun only. But still I lose LOL

Honestly speaking, you can not make money from gambling at all. For the bookies it's a business that is selling entertainment. And you are paying to buy the entertainment.
5979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 04, 2019, 11:01:24 AM
Guys! only one lose and all these mess :-P
Come on, it was just a bed day for India and any team can have this kind of days. In fact it's very common and we all know this. In bowling, betting even in fielding section I think India is way ahead then Bangladesh team.

Just take a breath and get ready for the next match.

Do you guys want to have a mutual betting pool for the next match?

Market: Including the super over  who will win the match?

If you guys want a pool then I can host it.

Let me know if anyone have any question about how a mutual betting works. Let's have some fun :-D
Can we?
5980  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are we really investing in bitcoin? on: November 04, 2019, 10:57:03 AM

But sadly the fees are quiet expensive but the volatility of the Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies could be taken advantage of through trading. Also these so called authorities who keep snooping right at your back and all the hassles can be lessen through Bitcoin since it is designed to eliminate third party like banks for example. Also, if we think about it carefully, there aren't many limitations and other terms and regulations to be signed unlike in banks.
Yeah you have a point and we are working on this. We are trying it with LN. Although LN has some of the limitation that the node has to be always online and such but I think at least we have a start May be in the future we will find batter solution.

We have just start and it's only 10 years now. I would like you to look at 20 years ahead from now. I am sure we will progress a lot. Imagine the internet in the 90s and now. It had it's limitations back in the days and still it has the same but it's running and to be honest without internet I do not think we can survive a day.

I am just waiting for the Electrum next version to be released. I am sure we will see more adoption for LN and this means more adoption for Bitcoin too.
