601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stories about lost Bitcoin on: June 12, 2023, 11:03:58 PM
I've lost bitcoin out of greed. The mistake is completely on me, and took place many years back. If I've kept hold of those bitcoin, now it could've turned more valuable. Came across a multiplier scheme in which we need to download a software and run it, sending the bitcoin to specific address and it gets multiplied. Never thought it to be a scam and lost big money around 0.05BTCwhich in today's market is very big.
602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Easy or hard to quit? on: June 12, 2023, 08:35:25 PM
It all depends on the person and his ability to control his mind. When one wins jackpot with which one can have life changing moment as well lead his rest of life will surely allocate certain amount for his future gambling need. If he lost the allocated amount, surely he'll take from the rest of the winning and gamble. This is the reality and myself too experienced it not on winning jackpots, but on winning small amounts that are really big to me. It is really hard to quit, once we've got used to it. Over time the learning will make him take a decision and get fixed to it.
603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the best career for women on: June 12, 2023, 06:28:48 PM
Bitcoin can't be considered as career, whereas one can make his career along with the cryptospace. This requires lot of learning and dedication to find the right opportunity. Even Women can do this, but bitcoin as a career is simply impossible thing. To have a career alongside of bitcoin one need to excel in programming, development, marketing, etc. Not everyone were able to master it, because this isn't simple as other jobs. A career means, series of jobs we move on connected with the other. To achieve career with bitcoin is to move with technology.

The wicket pair of Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane is India's hope. These two batsmen are unbeaten on the wicket so far and both are batting with a lot of responsibility if they can build on their partnership then India have a chance to win this match. India now need 268 runs to win. With seven valuable wickets still in hand, it is possible for India to win the World Test Championship if they bat patiently. The match depends a lot on Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane, that's why I said because after that, there are no responsible batsmen like these two. So these two batsmen have to take this innings a lot further.

Aussies have got two big wickets this morning of kohli and Ravindra Jadeja. The game is very much towards Aussies now. India still need 257 more runs to win and last recognised batsmen Ajinkya Madhukar Rahane is on the crease. India are chasing a target of 444 which is never chased before and it becomes more difficult if the opponents is Australia. Still 79 more overs to be bowled today so defiantly we will have a winner today.

When you see that India has lost half their side and the likes of Virat Kholi are no longer available. It's obvious that Australia would win this match from here. Also, there are still 2.5 sessions left in the match. People can hope that India may bat out all these sessions but currently, this does not seem happening.

Looking back to this final and you will realize that India lost it in the very beginning when they let Australia scored 450+ runs target in their first innings. After that, there was just no return for the Indian team.
All hopes gone for India as virat kohli, Ajinkaye Rahane and jadeja all are out and now their lower order is just finishing the match on a decent note .
Australia played brilliantly in all 5 days and they deserved to win this final . Their batting and balling was phenomenal.
India missed out on the finals of the World Test Championship for two consecutive seasons. India were defeated by New Zealand in the previous season and this year they lost to Australia by a huge margin of 209 runs. Rohit Sharma's team was confident this year after losing the previous WTC final but in the end Team India failed to perform as confident. If a team like India performs like this in test cricket and against an opponent like Australia then how can India expect to win that match.

England's condition was slightly in Australia's favor because we generally know Australia England New Zealand's wickets are usually bouncing wickets but the Asian continent's wickets are spin assisted wickets, this advantage has been taken by Australia in the Test Championship.
Maybe Australian cricketers were used to England Pitch conditions. However it is unfair to point out reasons for the loss. Rohit have claimed that the opening order who were expected to perform didn't do well. According to me, the wicket of Gill is unlucky whereas the wicket of Rohit Sharma and Pujara is an unwanted one. Rohit was in good position and there is no need for a sweep shot by the time. Soon after that Pujara went for an uppercut as if he's playing T20. Boland was good in giving breaks and Nathan Lyon taking the end order who were good in the first innings.
605  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top 5 Advantages of Bitcoin Casinos vs. Traditional Casinos on: June 10, 2023, 11:59:17 PM
Everything have got its advantages over the other. When it comes to traditional Casinos the fun and entertainment used to be different whereas with cryptocurrency Casinos it used to be different, because the present gambling experience happens only through the online casinos. Bitcoin Casinos were preferred for its transparency and for the privacy. Now this is no more, because each and every platform have begun to request KYC.

Whether it is traditional way of gambling or bitcoin gambling, the advantage relies on how we handle our gambling activities as well as how good are we in financial management and security.
606  Economy / Economics / Re: Look for what to invest, not what to eat on: June 10, 2023, 11:36:09 PM
People are sure about the return from an investment. However we were able to experience massive losses on some occasions which were completely unexpected. So, investment too kind of gamble. You'll invest today with the expectation to eat tomorrow, but you won't get the food. In such situation what can be done. For two days you weren't able to feed yourself, the next day your mind won't function perfectly to analyse the market. So, the importance of food is high than an investment.
607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 10, 2023, 03:09:55 PM
I agree with both of you that Swiatek will be the champion today, just hope Muchova doesn't let that happen easily, the final match should provide an interesting spectacle for tennis lovers. Muchova is not one of the players who is calculated to be able to perform optimally to finally reach the final and before defeating other favorites who were previously even predicted to be Swiatek's only strong challenger, so what she has achieved should not be let go so easily because Swiatek had faced difficulties when she faced Haddad Maia, so everyplayers have a chance to give a tight game today.
Bet on over 18.5 and hope Muchova is solid in her service game even though it doesn't have to go to 3 sets but at least there isn't a 6-0 score which is very unpleasant to watch in the final match.

Well currently its just one sided and Swiatek leads 5-2 in the first set and looks like she will take the set and the title pretty much without any hard work. For over 18.5 Muchova will need to work more and get some games but still its realistic that over comes in the second set.
Swiatek won the first set 6-2. In the second set Muchova had an opportunity to win, she missed it and then made a comeback and won the set 7-5. Now the match have moved to the third set, this is interesting. After Stuttgart Open title win Swiatek lost Madrid Open final and lost Italian Open quarter finals match. Once again she had reached the finals and it favours her amidst the hard competence from Muchova.
608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 10, 2023, 12:33:00 PM
Looks like Australia will end up giving a lead close to 420-430 which should be more than enough against this particular Indian side. India will probably try their best to draw the match while Australia will be looking for wickets.

Disappointed that this isn't a close contest by any means. Let's see if India can squeeze out a draw result.
India can never think of winning the match at the moment. Four wickets left and Australia leads by 395 runs. Alex Carey have scored his half century and Starc is supporting good. Indian bowlers weren't bad, they're trying their best. The opening session looke good, but they weren't able to pick wickets. Whether the match turns to be a close contest or not depends upon the performance from Indian batsmen. Based on what we saw in the first innings of India this looks like an easy win for Australia.
609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 10, 2023, 07:59:26 AM
Day 3 looked good for India as Australia lost 4 main wickets in quick succession. Marnus Labuschagne looks angry as he was not able to get his full nap. Shiraj and the new ball always work as on day 3 he took the first wicket. Rahane after being dropped for 1.5 years came back with a confident 89. I have no words about Lord Thakur. I would say a good comeback for India on day 3. They would need a far better performance on day 4. They would need to restrict Australia to from scoring another 100 runs as it will be very hard again to chase a target of 400+ runs.

Nothing looked good! India's chance of winning this final test match is bleak and getting it draw looks a distance away. They bowled so badly on day 1 then they batted poorly on day 2, on day 3 they were able to save the follow on. Today they would need to take wickets in order to restrict the Australia team from not getting another 400+ runs. If they can't then Australia would won this year finals. Indian batting has become so inconsistent that we cannot rely on our batters to draw the final match.
If one of the top order batsman have scored solid runs, the score could've reached close to 400 runs. It was Shardul Thakur who needs to be appreciated for his efforts in supporting the team avoid follow on. At the end of day 1, the match is almost losing for India. The second day's wicket fall made India in a better position. Now on the fourth day of the match there is a need of good bowling from India. Some fortune had to happen, only then this match gonna draw.
610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My friend interested in investing in BTC but the friend's father does not agree on: June 09, 2023, 11:53:31 PM
Give respect to father, because he is the one who cared you throughout and made you reach the position working in a government job. People don't easily understand the concept and the market behind the term cryptocurrency. It will take time, but try to convince. When you find this is no more gonna get positive result the best choice is to buy him little bitcoin and store in a wallet on his phone and ask him to have a watch on the variation happening. Surely he'll realise the need as well S understand well about the technology that can make change in the financial system.
611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is There A Time That You Calculated All Your loses In One Year on: June 09, 2023, 11:01:36 PM
I don't see the reason of why I would do it. I gamble for fun and when I lose it is what it is and nothing can change the outcome. However , if you gamble a lot or if you are high roller , you should have an agenda for sure on how much time you spend and how much money you've lost during that year but overall , will it help you ? The only think that can help you is self control.  Grin
Yeah, when you're gambling for fun there isn't any need to calculate the spending. You spend what is been allocated same as what you allocate for entertainment or something else. When you're focused on making income through gambling, then having note of the losses will help you realise how good/bad is your gambling activity. In all means it is the self control that can keep you away from gambling and not the calculated data of win/losses.
612  Economy / Economics / Re: To Hodl or Lend: What is your take? on: June 09, 2023, 10:25:37 PM
There are too many worries around bitcoin lending. Like how would you be able to guarantee that at the end of the loan your bitcoins would be paid to me or how will the lending platform/company make money. What if the company goes under? Obviously they can’t take it for themselves but there is a chance the coins could be lost forever due to human error, malicious intent etc
Maybe the profiting is low, but having the funds with us lets the user be on the safer side. As suggested the risks and process associated with it were big. To lend and get it back from the people around us itself a big tragedy. To lend and get it back online will have lots of risks. When it comes to bitcoin, what we earn through lending can be earned through holding. Maybe there'll be more time required to hold to experience the profit whereas with lending you'll receive revenue on particular time interval.
613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guilty of promising not to gamble for specific days but back next day on: June 09, 2023, 09:26:01 PM
Almost everyone could've got this feeling atleast once. Whether the loss is big or small, when we loss the fund that is more important we used to think not to gamble anymore. For God's sake we won't follow it. Some get into it and loss more the very next day. With some gamblers it'll last for few weeks or months. After that they'll be the same as what they were previously. This is all about the addiction that gives them the hope of making little or big money out of gambling.
614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 09, 2023, 08:53:10 PM
Alcaraz vs djokovic game was not as one would expect beside the first two sets that were really competitive and tight the last two were one sided for djokovic who broke five of alcaraz serves which is impressive especially in a clay court, now he will face either Ruud or zverev and after today performance i don't think they stand a chance against him and if he managed to win the tournament it will be his second grand slam this year.

In fact, Alcatraz was experiencing pretty rare full body cramps (wow must be quite painful) since early 3rd set. That is the reason of such a poor performance from him. I'm not saying that Carlitos would have won the match but chances were quite high that the match would have gone into the 5th set. Such a pity.

Anyway, Zverez was a mess today. I'm not sure what happened to him but he played really terrible tonight.
To me, both Zverev and Alcaraz played terrible. Ruud had a much easier win against Zverev, 6-3 6-4 6-0. In the third set Zverev unable to take a single point is very bad. For this he could've walked over. Anyhow the favourite to win have made it to the finals very easily.

In the match between Alcaraz and Djokovic, everyone must have expected it to be atleast a close one. From the beginning there is dominance of Djokovic. A second set comeback gave boost to Alcaraz followers, but third and fourth sets were really worse, 6-3 5-7 6-1 6-1. Once again the final to be won by Djokovic.
615  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People are giving too much importance to exchanges on: June 08, 2023, 11:48:24 PM
People give significant importance to exchanges for some reason. Without these exchange it is really hard to have good liquidity. It is really hard for buying and selling. Maybe if these exchanges weren't available, people would've got adopted to the P2P form of buying and selling, but the trading practice could've been more conservative.

With everything there'll be pros and cons, failure of the exchanges used to have impact over the market. However this is part of the market, same as what we experience as bullish and bearish movement. In each and every activity, there is a need for systematic process to be followed and the exchanges does it for profit and mistakes happen which is common.
616  Economy / Economics / Re: Will chatgpt really destroy the job market? on: June 08, 2023, 11:27:37 PM
To some extent it'll have the impact on the job market. The AI were developed to support the human beings, but the same beyond the human thinking will be dangerous as well as keeps the human beings under control. Recently came across an article in which beta version of the software is loaded with AI. The software is for video and image editing, which can done just by giving comments. These things will surely create job reduction with people who are committed in those industry/business.
617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 08, 2023, 10:59:10 PM
Sabalenka turning it around and looks like sure thing now even though result is not backing it yet. She started to simply overpower Muchova.

Tsitsi had no chance against Alcaraz and before we start to pile on him let's wait to see how Djoković will fare tomorrow. I feel like there is nobody on tour capable of competing with Alcaraz when he is on his best. First 2 sets against Tsitsipas he was simply unplayable. But if anybody can test him it is player like Djokovic, full of experience and tricks even when he is not in his best form like here.

Watching 3rd set now and she just gave it all away! Tiring herself out with powerful serves, but giving away faults and Muchova got a free pass now. Doesn't look good, but you never seem to know with these women's games, I guess?

I actually really need to find time to watch Alcaraz, haven't seen a single game in past 3 tourneys. I feel like I'm really missing out.

I had the same feeling while watching 3rd set but even first 2 sets were chaos as Muchova won a set what should have been won by Sabalenka and vice-versa so yea..this game was crazy from start to end.

Now , 3rd set ...from 5-2 , Muchova found a way to comeback and win 5-7 which is crazy and Sabalenka ran out of fuel just before the finish line.

Can Maia beat Iga ? I mean Maia had an awesome run until now and already proved herself and to us the fans , that she deserves to be in top 10 WTA. Currently she is 12 I think.

Iga beat the Brazilian 6:2, 7:6 and she will meet Muchova in the final. Sabalenka v Muchova was a real thriller though. After losing the opening set, Aryna gained momentum and seemingly guaranteed herself a place in the final but... she lost from 5:2 and even had a match point. Muchova had a medical issue with her leg(s) but Sabalenka seemed to ignore it and was just hitting out or right into the net all the time. I guess she conceded 50+ unforced errors if not more. There were several close-ups of Muchova during this and it was funny to see that look on her face (like WTF if going on here? What that crazy girl is doing? Grin) Muchova didn't win the match, Sabalenka lost it (or better say it was like a gift she gave to her opponent).
As to the final, I won't be surprised if Muchova will retire. In any case it will be an easy win for Iga.
Haven't watched the match, but both the women's semifinals were good match. Swiatek have somehow made it an easy win than the other match between Muchova and Sabalenka. That was real fighting, because the first tie breaker won by Muchova and the set is won. The second set turned to be hard as the first set and finally went into the hands of Sabalenka. Third set too the same and it was won by Muchova. The expectations were the first and the second seed to be on the final. Muchova have did her best and I believe the final will have the same level of competence as this match were the points were 77-65 65-77 7-5

Australia did lose 4 wickets but they won't be too unhappy with the scorecard. I reckon they have enough runs on the board and another 30-50 runs from here are bonus.

Indians can only think about damage control and chasing the match, although today they did a fair job and didn't let Australia run away. Job is still not finished tho and they need to wrap up the tail otherwise it would hurt them badly.
Day 2, By the end of session 1 Australia have scored 422/7. The tail end is building good partnership, Alex Carey have scored 22* runs and we can expect the innings of Australia to end around 500 runs. Even at this situation Australia is the favourite as the winning probability of India is just 12% which clearly shows that India should try hard to develop partnership. Today India will start the innings and it needs the focus should be much on standing wickets not on scoring big runs.
620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: June 07, 2023, 11:29:34 PM
We can't be sure on which team will win. As said Brazil holds the highest chance of winning the title. Same as the mens football, here also we were able to see very little countries from the Asian continent. Hope this changes in the upcoming world Cups as different sports were started to get importance against the audience getting stagnant towards particular games.

Placing bets on these matches will be surely interesting, because quite often we can see the underdog winning the match. This needs to be promoted well and given importance as the mens football. Only then we'll be able to get more good players as well as motivate women to start their football career.
