Official Lisk ReleaseIt’s happening! We finally have a release date for the Lisk platform. Before I say the date I want you to know the story behind it. We initially planned to release Lisk at the end of April or early May. However, something unexpected happened. Read the whole blog post

Can you show us the transactions on the chain?
No, vault->wallet transaction are Coinbase internal.

Would you also announce Liskman as the official Lisk Forum mascot, please? $ $ \/ | \/ | / \ | | Shall we leave it to a vote? Liskman sounds funny. These kind of things are never official, they need to be urban legends. Max's taking liberties now....................no mention of a launch date anywhere.....................
Launch date will be announced later today. Like I mentioned. One thing after the other.

Lisk ICO - BTC & XCR RefundsAs described in our ICO Terms and on our ICO Website, XCR depositors were eligible for a refund until the April 18th, 2016. Nobody contacted us in order to get a refund, therefore we will only send back Bter’s 2,500,000 XCR. However, about 178 BTC were received after the ICO ended. Everyone associated with these funds can expect an email from us within the next hours detailing your exchange ID, transaction ID, and the amount of BTC to be refunded. If you receive the email, you may then provide us with a working BTC address to receive the refund. The total of 178 BTC have already been successfully withdrawn from our Coinbase vault in cooperation with our escrow partners. Blog Post

A blog post regarding refunds will be published today. what refunds Sorry for the confusion. Wolf Rainer said something about refunds. What I meant: There were over 100 BTC sent to us AFTER the ICO ended. We will start to refund them today. BTC which were sent in the correct time frame, are not eligible for a refund. Do you have any news about the launch today? Yes. Will also be posted today.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1346646.msg14616430#msg14616430I already said everything. Today I will release more information.

I hope that they will declare the launching day soon..
Max is waiting untill new customers will buy something at the lisk.fund, you should wait some time... That's wrong, we are not associated with the Lisk.Fund website.

I went to the faucets and collected Lisk there. After collecting 10 Lisk I withdrawal them in a wallet. Going hard on the wallet, I discovered that there is no payment, balance 0 Lisk. what am I doing wrong? Try to reload the window or restart the client.

First day rewards kommen später. Was braucht man eigentlich für Vorraussetzungen um Delegated zu werden?
Server Stimmen Coins xxxx?
Du brauchst deinen eigenen Server wo du Lisk drauf installiert hast. Du brauchst einen Delegate Account den du registriert hast. Du brauchst genug Stimmen der gesamten Community, damit du in der top 101 bist.

Is there a simple, (ELI5-esque) explaination of the differences between Crypti and Lisk. I know the brief history of the two. Specifically, what I want to know is when the original Crypti project was forked, what improvements and changes were made to make Lisk a different coin?
I can prepare one if you want. I would release it shortly before launch. Please prepare it, it's important! I'm interested in this as well. Yes, I'd appreciate that. Those of us who never paid attention to Crypti could use a good cheatsheet explaining why the two projects are similar but having the Lisk fork was a good idea. The comparison will only show the difference between the last Crypti version and the latest (launch) Lisk version. Why it was a good idea to fork:- A "new" team with a huge motivation. - Fundings which are sufficient for years. - A bigger community than Crypti ever had. - A project with clear leadership, which is utterly important. - A more rapid development cycle. That's just the beginning. But I don't want to go too deep into that. I will prepare a feature comparison for launch, so people see the value we are building with Lisk.

I can't say on which exchanges Lisk will be available on at launch. You also don't publish announcements about your broker, right? Maybe the exchanges will announce it after we announce the launch date, because then they know if they are available at that day.

Yes, wait for release and buy real LISK later on. I'm waitin for this too (lurked too much, time to get active). But, any ETA on the ETA announcment? Someone said it suppose to be this week. But Lisk team is suspiciously quiet about that. Yes, this week we will announce the release date. Oliver did big changes to Lisk in the past week and these changes need to be tested today/tomorrow. After we got the results we can announce the release date. The changes are necessary, our last stress test revealed a few inefficiencies in the Lisk core which need to be sort out before we launch. Lisk is so popular right now, that we need to make the core as efficient as possible. If Crypti would have been so popular as Lisk is right now, the network couldn't have support the load. With our last updates we fixed many problems already, the next one will be a game changer.

Maybe one delegate could send a percentage (50%?) of it's LISK to a LISK faucet? I would vote for such a delegate.
Really good idea. I'm currently the owner of http://www.liskfaucets.com (collection of all Lisk faucets with unique functions), http://freelisk.rocks and http://liskcoins.xyz and could really use a sponsor. If someone is gonna be a delegate when mainnet launches, please email me if you want to be a sponsor. I can make a banner for all the websites which states you are a sponsor so you will get more votes and recognition from the community. info@liskfaucets.comPlease post your project to the projects section on https://forum.lisk.io/. Other people need to see it!

1) Can I vote for a delegate without being a standby delegate? 2) to vote for a delegate, do I need to register my name (100 lisk on the testnet) ? 3) how a profit sharing pool can see who vote for it? I don't know if it's worth to vote for a delegate without being one... why because you are greedy and need to get something to do something for the community? Yes you can vote without being registered. All you need is lisk in your wallet. it's easy to see who voted for you, just because you don't know how to do it does not mean it can't happen. No, I am not greedy. I don't want t be a standby delegate but I read the forum and i have a list of people that I consider good delegates. I remembered that it wasn't so easy to search and look for people that voted for you...but maybe it was old testnet or maybe I am wrong. So...I am not greedy but you? Are you a delegate for glory? Everyone can vote for everyone (maximum 101 votes at once). It is heavily recommended to vote in order to secure the whole network. It doesn't cost much. Right now 1 LISK per vote, but we will reduce the fee.

if i didn't have a point or weren't right in pointing this out the banana user wouldn't say i'm trying to be smart. i appreciate that. others agreed with me and i'm glad i raised this.
Sadly, barely anyone agrees with you. Bitcoin is a decentralized crypto-currency platform even though the client is downloaded from a centralized server. Lisk is a decentralized application platform even though the dapp is currently downloaded from a centralized server. You are clinging on some aspects of decentralized applications, stating a "true" DaPP should be decentralized in every manner. What is rather outstanding is you also cling to the idea Bitcoin is not decentralized... here we have the definition for the Dapp my Maxx: An application which becomes decentralized because it runs on a blockchain with a big number of servers. All servers are controlling each others computations and correct them if needed. Same as Bitcoin, Lisk or Nxt are decentralized application themselves. E.g. Bitcoin only has the feature to send tokens around. However, a Lisk dapp can has mostly any feature, e.g. saving an arbitrary value onto the blockchain, calculating a deterministic value and so on. We don't store any code on the blockchain. Dapps needs to be deterministic, yes. So once and forever: Dapps on Lisk are not decentralised downloaded (the same as bitcoin regarding to Lisk), nor saving data on the blockchain, so everyone can use it decentralised (like Ethereum with smart contracts) but a app can save some numbers on the blockchain, and it can use Lisk (which is a decentralised software) thats making Lisk Dapps decentralised. It cant run from data on the blockchain, because of Javascript limitations. An Dapp like Augur is impossible, IOT Dapps possible. This is wrong. I specifically said that you can save "data on the blockchain". Something like Augur is possible.
