621  Economy / Reputation / Re: Unknown Personal massage me offer sell her account on: March 25, 2020, 12:15:43 PM
Both U_Trune and NNRR use broken English, fishing merits, having almost similar usernames, helping OP within few minutes of posting and meriting her etc, all looks suspicious but there isn't enough proof to tag them as Alts.
But one thing I learned from being active on Reputation and Scam Accusation for a few days is that never trust anyone even if they are helpful and reputable  Grin
622  Economy / Reputation / Re: User creating new accounts just to leave fake negative feedback on: March 25, 2020, 08:16:25 AM
Apart from negative feedback, you might also attract some stalkers who'll go through almost all your posts and will try to report them as offtopic, plagiarism etc or even open a scam accusation against you. They'll try to get you tagged/banned as a retaliation. But as long as you haven't violated any of the forum rules or done anything scammy, just ignore them. You are just safe and the business will continue as usual. There'll be a lot of other things irl to worry about.
623  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Telegram run by scammer on: March 24, 2020, 06:04:53 PM
If the claim of ChrisVandermeer is true, then btcven should be tagged as scammer even though he hasn't logged in for almost a year. But I'm not sure if it's the telegram user who scammed is @rdymac.
624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XMR 2.0 with high security and decentralization as Bitcoin on: March 24, 2020, 03:42:28 PM
I remember the term Proof of Proof being used first by Veriblock but I don't know about it except for that it secures the chain with the help of Bitcoin blockchain.

Do you think their project worth mine?  Embarrassed
Free of ICO,pre-mine or founder's reward
Their requirement for pc is super simple.
2 cores CPU and 500GB hard disk space, no GPU.  Cheesy

The most important thing - for each Monero (XMR), an owner got 1 Poporo.
Does someone hold monero? Will you get poporo?

Let me know your idea.  Cool

If the project features are promising to you, then you should probably mine. BTW, I do hold some Monero in my Hardware Wallet and if they airdrop Poporo to Monero holders, I'll probably claim then if they are worth something substantial.
625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Freewallet EOS Wallet reliable? on: March 24, 2020, 02:34:53 PM
Anyone on here knows an EOS wallet with free Ram,CPU and Net resources? I've tried token pocket and no luck  so far, I saw on the internet that Freewallet EOS Wallet gives users free Resources, how true is this? And can I import private keys?

Freewallet is a custodial wallet and they don't give your Private Keys. They'll be holding your funds for you. It's similar to holding your EOS in an exchange. Trusting FreeWallet is similar to trusting a centralised exchange. So its a waste to move your EOS from an Exchange to FreeWallet. If you want to hold your funds, don't hesitate to create an EOS wallet by spending ~2$ with ZEOS.
626  Other / Meta / Re: Caution: My Hero account has been potentially compromised on: March 23, 2020, 07:03:45 AM
The one good thing the hackers did to your account is rank it up from Hero to Legendary  Tongue JK.

Congrats on getting your account back. Never seen someone so persistent to recover a forum account which was hacked 2 years back Smiley
627  Other / Meta / Re: Posting reserve? on: March 23, 2020, 05:57:02 AM
^ Looks like KimmyF didn't actually reserve the spot like the previous user you caught.

Original unedited post:
For which purpose someone strongly believe that Bitcoin could hit 3k again when going down coronavirus cases and few months left for halving time.

After Edit:
For which purpose someone strongly believe that Bitcoin could hit 3k again when going down coronavirus cases and few months left for halving time. Now what should we do sell our Bitcoin to scammers and wait for price up. That's not right 3k correction time is over now time for 5k-6k correction.

Though his reply doesn't make much sense to me, I don't think this is a big issue. I too have made posts and then edited mostly within 5 mins when I find a better way to express my thoughts after I posted, I see this more of a language constraint issue. Nothing more.

Edit:
Did a recheck, looks like KimmyF is also using 'reserve' to post later. http://loyce.club/archive/posts/5407/54078816.html

629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid being cheated by altcoin developer on: March 23, 2020, 04:38:37 AM
If I hire a developer to create a fork of Bitcoin with a small premine. How do I make sure I get my premine and that the developer hasn't ripped me off. Is there a way to know for sure that I have received my premine? What would be the steps when launching the network to verify the developer hasn't done anything 'tricky'? Thanks!
If you are not a developer yourself, you cant find if your altcoin developer is cheating you. So it is better to employ an experienced and good developer who has a good reputation for himself in the community. Reputed developers most probably wouldn't do anything tricky or try to scam you as it will damage their reputation.
630  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 16-Mar-2020] on: March 22, 2020, 03:00:54 PM
OWNR requires users to make seven posts in the Alternate cryptocurrencies section - most others require posts in the Games/Games discussion sections.
Does it matter? As far I see, OP is an overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns which pays in BTC, so I don't see a problem in adding OWNR to the list. IMO, Gambling section is no better than Alternate cryptocurrencies section.

Another thread that popped up recently requires users to start and maintain threads each and every week - not sure how that one went.
Are you referring to this? They seem to be active for 2 weeks with 3 campaigners and paying them as promised.
631  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk Future on: March 22, 2020, 02:39:30 PM
Just curious. What's the point in discussing about Cryptotalk's future. Personally, I wouldn't even bother whatever shitshow they are doing or intend to do in future. Cryptotalk took away some of the spammers from this forum for themselves which is good IMHO. So are you guys worried that since new users are not allowed to register to Cryptotalk they might flood towards this forum or just worried about the future of the spammers in Cryptotalk?
632  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: value increase on: March 21, 2020, 04:27:57 PM
Does my bitcoin i have in my wallet (like 70 bucks) increase / decrease over time depending on bitcoins worth?
If you are asking whether the value of your Bitcoin in your wallet will change in terms of Fiat Currencies(USD), YES, it would change based on the market price. But don't worry about the Dollar value of your Bitcoin if you are planning to HODL. 1 BTC will always be 1 BTC
633  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Very innovative BTC/ETH scam ongoing live, right now. on: March 21, 2020, 04:11:34 PM
Someone please help. A lot of people are losing hard earned coins.
What do you think that we can do except for repeatedly advising them not to fall these scams. Most of those who fall for such scams are greedy idiots. Only thing we can do now is reporting the website and the social media postings as scam
634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: March 19, 2020, 05:32:45 PM
I'm an occasional sports(cricket) gambler. Since I don't see that any sports event is going to take place in the next month, I have started to play card games like Rummy, Poker, Blackjack etc. But the thing is with online Poker and Rummy you can't read your opponent and might end up losing  Undecided But I don't see an alternative to gambling.
Card games can't be equated to sports gambling. Both are different genres and the target audience and fan base may not be similar. I have never got myself involved with card games, because I found them difficult and less exciting. And also, I usually play card games in real world, rather than doing it online. I am more comfortable that way, than going online for this genre.
I never compared card games with sports gambling. Apart from Sports gambling, I have a liking towards cards when compared to dice, Hi/LO games. This may differ from person to person.
635  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Canadian Exchange accidentally sent me a few grand... what do? on: March 19, 2020, 04:50:53 PM
It's up to you to decide but, in general, it's better to return the funds back. If it was me, I would have contacted them about the extra money and would have returned it.
636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl altcoins or..? on: March 19, 2020, 04:13:23 PM
Which altcoins are you hodling?
I'm holding ETH and XMR.

I didn't sell any altcoins that I'm holding lately (i probably should), however, is it a smart idea to buy them now or wait a bit more?
It's always ideal to buy altcoins when the prices  are low from your previous price entry. So if you are already holding a bag with higher price entry, I would advise you to some now.

What are you holding? and what will you do?
As I have already mentioned, I'm holding ETH and XMR. But sadly I don't have any spare money left to buy some cheap altcoins. However, I managed to buy small amount of BTCGrin
637  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 16-Mar-2020] on: March 19, 2020, 01:41:59 PM
I see that you have missed OWNR. It's expected to run atleast for 4 more weeks.

Good news!

As I said previously after redesigning the signature campaign will open again. So the OWNR team wants to reopen the signature campaign again. And it will run atleast 4 weeks from now. And another good news, OWNR wallet has made a partnership with BITFINEX

All things are the same as before except the weekly period. So the new payday will be Friday, [ Friday-Thursday ].
Please read the rules carefully before applying.

The campaign is officially opened now. There are 20 slots are opened for full-legendary rank. You can apply.

Currently the thread reads CFNP. But I guess new slots have opened as some of the participants left for Roobet.

639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steem community hardfork - Hive.blog will be launched on Friday on: March 18, 2020, 06:16:10 PM
I see that 50% rise today but it looks like a trap, it already is going all the way down, maybe wait for tomorrow and then ride the wave. Hard forks is a great way to get new coins. And a great business opportunity, so i will keep an eye on that coin, thanks for sharing the info mate.
It's good thing that the community decided to hardfork Steem and make it decentralised. But I wouldn't suggest anyone to buy steem now for getting the free airdropped Hive tokens. I'm sure that CZ and Justin would heavily manipulate the prices of both the tokens.

640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk PSL T20 Pool and discussion. on: March 18, 2020, 04:01:28 PM
Eventhough it's a good thing that the Semis and the finals are postponed because of COVID-19 outbreak, it really sucks from a cricketing fan perspective that we have to wait nearly a month to watch the semis and the final.

Just for record "One Month" is not coming from any official source or any sort of source. It was me, just speculating the timeline, so plz don't take my words for granted. If that's the case.  Grin
Yeah, I completely understand  Grin Since IPL has been postponed until April 15 earlier, I was also of the opinion that 1 month period sounds reaonable for PSL too, if the COVID-19 spread is successfully curtailed. Anyways IPL is going to start somewhere between April 16 to May 1, so it's going to be a boring month without any matches.
