If it is his personal choice, then it is my personal choice to complaint at FTC against Spondoolies-Tech for being part of a larger conspiracy. He could simply reveal the info about FC and save himself...

The retardness in this thread is amazing.

NOW, SPOONDOLIES CUSTOMERS: WILL YOU TRUST THIS COMPANY OR GUY WITH YOUR MONEY?

Will you hunt down EVERYONE that took a picture with Rock Xie?

I've only lived here for 3 years now and have yet to visit the gardens, I do think me and the Mrs will do it this spring though and yeah it can be stupidly expensive here at times, most earn a high wage and have high quality of living though......

If your ever in town by all means please shoot me a PM, would love to take ya for a beer and a walk around the city, i don't hate you really, just some banter here and there Smiley

I'm on SSH today, a balance of indica and sativa, to much sativa can put me on edge and slightly anxious depending on the situation. in reality i am an indica lover but like a bit of sativa during the day.

Will do.

Just try different strains and observe their effect on you. There must be one that will not make you that anxious.

No but really, she has been in the shower room for 90 minutes now, its beautiful outside and i want to go out and enjoy it with her. I am not pissed at her, just kind of jesting around with the internet...... i just don't get why she takes so long on such a beautiful day...... but you are right i should go out on my bike until she is ready Smiley

edit: the tourists are mostly idiots(been one in the past), most Dutch have way more fun on a Monday night that the tourist actually do on a Friday night

That is a lot of time to spend in the shower, but just use the opportunity window to do stuff that you need to do by yourself like checking your paper back-ups or making new ones or reading an article that was saved during last week or buying smoking supplies. Or just take the bike and do a block tour. It is obvious that she will need ~30 mins to get ready for your walk outside so you should have plenty of time to take a bike ride and be back before she is done.

Do share. What's fun to do during a Monday night?
624  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: March 08, 2015, 11:01:53 AM
I'm not mad or angry, disappointed if the whole things fails, but not angry or mad Smiley My vision is maybe impaired by this sunday morning spliff i am smoking before going to enjoy a walk in the park and feed the ducks on what may just be the fist sunny and beautiful day of the year here in Amsterdam.

Just 1 week ago I was thinking of an Amsterdam trip to visit the Keukenhof Gardens, but it didn't materialized because Amsterdam is too damn expensive Smiley

Maybe try changing the strain because this one isn't relaxing you at all.

Quote
Well I tried warning you shareholders folks since last summer, but nobody believed me and everyone accused me of bashing AM and trying to promote other products.
Playing the "i told you so" card and the "victim" card in one shot, wow you must be a real card shark

I repeat: I have no reason to play the "i told you so" card versus pierrejo. Versus you, jimmothy or Mabsark yes, but not versus him. Since he seem to see this community as not working together I tried to show that there is still hope and that not all the members fit into his description. Since I didn't expect for him to believe me I put the quote to back up my statement. Nothing else. The rest is just your pure imagination (and it's understandable since you are smoking apparently the wrong strain).

edit: I am getting slightly disgruntled at how long the other half is taking in the shower......

This shows that you can never enjoy anything. Instead of finishing the spliff and enjoying it or enjoying the weather or anything else you spend your time being disgruntled by your other half that is taking too long into the shower. You seem to always see the empty part of the glass instead of seeing the filled part. I had a phase like that too, but I realized it is wrong and I worked hard to change my attitude towards everything. One punch line that determined me to see that I have a wrong attitude was someone that was stating that a presentation should be taken like "being able to present some great thing to other people" instead of being stressed about it just like everyone does it. It's all about personal perception and being open. Life in Amsterdam shouldn't be about being pissed about your other half taking too long into the shower while you could find something fun to do in the meantime or about being pissed at people that are trying to point obvious things which you refuse to accept. Everyone that travels to Amsterdam does it to have fun, yet the people living there don't seem to have so much of it...I see it as personal choice, while you may see it as fate working against you. It's all about perception.
625  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: March 08, 2015, 10:16:55 AM
Its just the way you even come in here now - hahahaha i was right you were wrong, you lost money, hahahaha, i am better than all of you. Trololol.
Try mixing it up a bit and not just being the boring i told you so record.

I know I've potentially made bad choices and lost some money buy i dont need you trying to rub salt in the open wounds as such

You are like the cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow

It's your distorted way of seeing things just like last summer when I was raising legitimate issues and you were thinking that I am trying to promote SP-Tech gear. YOU have a wrong attitude towards criticism against AM and against people reporting it.

With the quote that I posted I was just demonstrating and trying to prove a point to pierrejo. The point is that I tried to work with you and to help you see things which you don't see, but only to get bashed just like now. It wasn't an "I told you so" moment. Not now and not in reply to pierrejo, with who I never had any disagreement. So your argument is kinda pointless and stupid in the same time. I understand that you are very mad, but stating that I am trying to rub salt into open wounds when it wasn't the case is simply wrong. Your whole vision is impaired by your anger. Maybe you should pay attention to what is happening around you instead of being busy spilling so much venom out of your mouth.

Please stop feeding the trolls - simply don't reply.
To everyone - take into account that this thread means more than a few chuckles to a lot of folks. I  have nearly all my BTCs locked in AM shares, yet the situation is not as painful as the constant joking about it from a community I helped build.
Work together instead of destroying each others, which is what the very Bitcoin protocol is about: in the long term we gain more by helping each others rather than attacking each others (Blockchain).

Well I tried warning you shareholders folks since last summer, but nobody believed me and everyone accused me of bashing AM and trying to promote other products. Here is the proof:

Are you that ignorant or plain stupid? DataTank Mining project is a customer of AM. AM is one of the - if not THE - healthiest BTC HW business and is not "crowdfunding" anything.

Now crawl back to the cave you came from and troll in some other thread. And take the other two trolls with you.

Healthiest? How come? AM is just cash-less sitting on 60PH worth of wafers. Where is the health in there? They can't even help the bitcoin network with some hashpower of their own so that Ghash can go below the 50% share. AM self-mining is just a joke at this moment. Their future relies on selling inefficient chips to customers.

The list can go on because I never stopped in trying to point out the obvious things, but the only result was to become a hated person around here.

627  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SP10 fan mods? on: March 08, 2015, 08:58:40 AM
There is an absolutely dirty, dirty mod that I prepared but never attempted. Remove the entire thing from its case and lay the hashing boards out flat (ON SOMETHING NON CONDUCTIVE!) and slightly raised. Get box fans and rest them on the hashing boards.

You're still going to be wrecked by the PSU's fan noise though, which is the main problem on SP10s.

LOL dogie you said exactly the same thing as I did

Doesn't that boost your ego?  Grin
628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 20MB Fork on: March 08, 2015, 06:20:31 AM
He doesn't care.  Having to trust centralized master archive nodes is a small price to pay for his dream of achieving maximum Bitcoin monopoly.

Because God forbid retail consumers don't use the same tool to buy coffee as financial institutions use to settle million/billion dollar deals.

In Roadkill's feverish mind, even the suggestion 'perhaps an altcoin would better for using at Starbucks' makes you an evil shill.

I am sure that it will not be so bad as you imagine it and that some end users will still be able to maintain the archive nodes. Even if they don't then I am sure that we can R&D the technology to verify the integrity of the archive nodes in a way that can't be hacked and that there will be some sort of trustless central nodes available. It's all about R&D!

And suggesting the use of an altcoin for Starbucks doesn't make you an evil shit. Supporting scamming/failed companies that promise unrealistic things makes you an evil shit!

You fear we must fix Bitcoin until it breaks in order to save it from certain death?  I find your lack of faith disturbing.

This is where you fail to understand Bitcoin. It's in the early days and it is Beta. We need to break it to make it tougher! Also you forgot that we have some checkpoints and lots of people that are constantly checking the health of the Bitcoin network. If shit hits the fan the alarms will go off instantly. We had this in the past and Bitcoin survived! Why do you think it will not survive again? I am pro testing/breaking/whatever since I am aware that we have some fail-safe mechanisms in place. I know that even if something goes horribly wrong Bitcoin can recover. It was properly designed to allow this! You evil scamming shit!

roadstress on every page sometimes multiple times, insults, repeating same strawman arguemtns over and over again, frequent use of ad hominem, very emotional style of debate, immune to reasoning, bad skills in processing informations which aren't reflecting his own standpoint. Very unpleasant to read and drags down quality.

Just what my impression is.

Have you paid any attention to who I address the insults? You didn't. Go back and check. I only insult the scammers and the sock-puppets accounts of MP who tried to hijack this thread. Tard Icebreaker used to support HashFail, a failed mining manufacturer, who managed to scam all its customers out of 40M$-50M$.

I assume that you are a sock-puppet account too...

yes that's true. roadstress sucks at thinking and writing.  we've all noticed that.  i suggest you ignore his pointless posts.

Go eat shit you scammer supporter!

If you don't want to pay a competitive tx fee for Bitcoin's bulletproof Rolls Royce of blockchains, off-chain banking is one option.

How about everyone that has supported a scammer/failed business pays a competitive fee for posting on this forum? I would definitely vote for that!

If you want fraud, tell me why I'm getting emails from BFL

BFL managed to get 2 custom chips done by them along with real custom miners. What did Ken have? Only Avalon and HF clones. No single custom chip. Not even a failed one. Also BFL had delays, but actually delivered their custom miners and issued some refunds. Can't say the same thing about Ken who was sending out checks that were bouncing back. C'mon. Please stop being a full retard and crawl back to your den.

I agree with MrTeal. This is plain stupid. He is only stating the facts. Everything that he posted is true facts. That's NOT DEFENDING.
632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 20MB Fork on: March 07, 2015, 11:55:46 AM
Are you now going to also accuse Andreas of needing to stop BTC from growing, to satisfy his ego?
Are Andreas' accomplishments and contributions "plateauing" as well?
Is Andreas likewise leading a "cult of personality?"  Or are Davout and Andreas both leaders in the same cult?  Please clarify!   Grin

Just finished watching "Andreas M. Antonopoulos testimony for Australian Senate"

Andreas states that all the issues in the Bitcoin ecosystem are being solved with innovation instead of regulation

So up yours Icetard scammer!
633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 20MB Fork on: March 07, 2015, 10:34:03 AM
That's very zen. You can sell more by making less. Groovy. That's right up there with increasing value by keeping block space scarce. That's like saying  the deeper the hole, the more dirt it holds.

Keeping the block space scarce hinders innovation and various services/startups that do not have the money to use the limited block space. Stop with the limitations already. Not at this small scale!
634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 20MB Fork on: March 07, 2015, 08:13:12 AM
What he probably means is that pruning does nothing to increase transactions per second.

But it's helping with the management of the bigger blocks which indirectly help the increase of transactions per second.
You're not transmitting those pruned blocks. You may also be pruning important metadata and destroying part of the Bitcoin ecosystem.

I see this as a chance of building another service. Offer metadata from the pruned blocks. The way to go is to continuously design, build and improve, not to limit things. For every issue there is a solution that can be deployed. By avoiding issues and by refusing to research and develop new stuff we are putting ourselves in a bubble which will hinder our evolution.
635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 20MB Fork on: March 07, 2015, 07:55:09 AM
Blockchain pruning is entirely do-able.

Cool story, but it doesn't really solve anything.
So increasing the blockchain (in size, per block) is not a solution and decreasing it isn't either?
I find this, illogical. What are you proposing?
What he probably means is that pruning does nothing to increase transactions per second.

But it's helping with the management of the bigger blocks which indirectly help the increase of transactions per second.

Davout's opinion on the 20MB fork is correct; your ad hom attacks on him just make you look desperate.

Hello Icetard! How much money do you have left from the HashFail scam?

You forget one thing. It's not Davout's opinion that matters. It's the network's opinion that matters since it's a consensus network!

Are you now going to also accuse Andreas of needing to stop BTC from growing, to satisfy his ego?

Andreas sees the bigger picture. Bigger than what we are discussing here. Since you are too stupid to think for yourself let me tell you that even if Bitcoin becomes a gold-standard for many other currencies it still needs to support more tps that the present value = biggers block size is needed!

Go back to supporting scamming/failed businesses Icetard!
636  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 0.5% fee anonymous solo bitcoin mining! 29 blocks solved! on: March 07, 2015, 07:12:05 AM
How long does it take to solve a block on average?

Approximately ten minutes. Depends on whether the network is increasing or decreasing in size.

Nice reply  Grin
637  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 07, 2015, 07:09:09 AM
Nice post DTS, I wish you all the best. Good luck pal.   Smiley

An even greater post bitotious!  Sadly I have no way of offering a true answer beyond speculation and at this stage I'm not feeling enough love to chuck ideas into to mix.  Not that ridicule might deter, more my desire to share is waning.

I know Ken better than most because I have been studying him throughout this whole process and interacting.  I have a real understanding of the man.  And guess what; it's as simple as the the day is long.  There are no surprises and there is no conspiracy.  There's only a poorly managed business which was doomed from the outset because of who was at the helm.  THAT'S where we all fucked up.  Our greed got the better of us yet sadly there are those who persist and can't seem to understand that the onus lies with themselves.  Everything else is a distraction, plain & simple.  Ask Blah, *cough*.

I terms of Ken's lies.  Yes he absolutely white lied.  Understand this; he surely knew he was taking an enormous gamble by 'being selective' with what info he shared with the shareholders but that was because he was certain of a positive outcome for the shareholders, ["Bitcoins will be worth $10,000 in a few months!"] which wasn't that far away from the community belief at that time.  I do believe he wanted to make his shareholders successful knowing that would make him successful, sadly circumstances along the way steered the ship off course.

I just think we have all learned enormously from this experience and anyone with half a brain should capitalize on that.

The amount of bullshit still coming from you is simply amazing! You state that you know Ken better than anyone because you were studying him and that you have a real understanding of him. THIS IS EITHER BULLSHIT OR YOU ARE REALLY STUPID!

How the fuck do you know Ken if you were unable to spot the scam that was obvious from 100 miles away? For me it was obvious from the moment he invented the IntelliHash shit. Even without it THERE WERE NO FUCKING PROVES! There were only words to fool people and by the looks of it you weren't fooled. You were hypnotized by Ken since you are still unable to see the actual facts. I have no idea how do people believe and send money to someone just based on words with 0 facts to back him up.

There is no poorly managed business because THERE WAS NO BUSINESS from the start! There was just a scheme to suck money from stupid investors like you.

Since you were too busy studying Ken you missed out on the opportunity to check his posts history when you made the investment. I will help you:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=209814.0 - pointed as being a potential scam right from the first post and the lack of technical info is simply absurd

Also since people from Hardware were giving him so much hard time with hard questions he moved to the Securities forum where people weren't asking so many technical details and they were more interested in the business/money facts which he managed to put them in nice words to fool everyone.

Here is more history for you. On 30 November 2013 Ken was supposed to have some chips in hand, but since he had nothing he had to use his lies again to fool the investors and he invented the IntelliHash bullshit:

ken found out right on 30 November (right on the shipping deadline) that chips are going to be late?
Maybe it slipped by me but I believe November/December is the shipping deadline you are trying to quote right? That would mean december 31st would be "Right on the shipping deadline". Please try to be accurate with your posts.

I find that hard to believe+ fact that there were no reasons supplied. BFL had the mighty "clock buffers", HashFast had "lack of substrate", but VMC has nothing. Yes i should trust this company.

Since you are looking for their excuse here it is.

Intellihash(tm)

Intellihash is our new trademark for our new Bitcoin mining software which gives up to a 20% increase in hashing speed and has the possibility to increase the speed of our mining machines as the difficulty goes up.  We have had to modify the software in our chips to make it work with our new software.  The chips are going to be late; however, our new Intellihash software could be a game changer for the company.

Don't ask me what Intellihash is, what "modify the software in our chips" means, I don't know nor do I care. I'm simply correcting you like usual.

The intellihash bullshit is simply impossible to achieve in real word. There is no magical software that can make the chips go faster as the difficulty goes up. A chip speed is limited by it's hardware design only.

I am sure that you were fooled just like Bargraphics was. He had no idea what the Intellihash is, but it sounded good enough to put more money into it. And he did! And many others.

Note that Ken was the only chip designer that had this bullshit. Nobody else has a magic software that makes chips go faster as the difficulty goes up!

It was all smoke and mirrors for the uninformed laze investors who were only dreaming to get rich.

So please stop defending yourself and Ken and get your head out of your ass and face reality. Why do you bother posting here? Go to work to recover your lost funds!

can anyone recommend a sp31 clocking guide?

by this I mean a guide or list of voltages and watts to clock the unit at to get the best power consumption and hashrate

I think the easiest way would be to lower your start voltage and limit the PSUs. For example for using 3350GH/s at 1760W you would limit each PSU to 850W.
640  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: March 05, 2015, 10:49:10 PM
Because setting up a facility to run 10MW of mining gear is relatively difficult and pricey, but not outside the realm of a well funded venture. Building a PV facility that can handle the 240MWh of energy you'd require every day to run 10MW of gear would be a multi-year project with massive capital outlays. If you've got a couple hundred million bucks laying around though, you might want to look into it. Tongue

Tell that to AM fanbois who had their pants wet when AM announced that they will produce 60Ph/s worth of chips. They thought that deployment will be easy peasy.
