621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official Anoncoin chat thread (including history) on: March 27, 2014, 04:22:49 PM
One thing that should be clearer is whether you need i2p running in order to run the client with anonymity or whether it actually has it's own support for i2p built in via some kind of library.

- next up, merged mining?
MM is not supported
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official Anoncoin Information, FAQ & Description thread. I2P/Tor explained [Mod] on: March 26, 2014, 10:27:16 PM
Strangely ANCblockchain's adresses all start by KXWc9osG and not by A...

Also few days ago it was more like blockchain.info, now it is like ABE

Would be nice to go back to the blockchain.info style and with correct ANC address IMHO Cheesy

Lol, you're right.

geekz: can you set the prefix to 23? (I will contact him in other ways too)

What do you mean by prefix 23? Can you please help me with that?
"address" version, see base58.h this makes the addresses show up correct

anyone know the fix to the decimal point being off by 100?  Everything is correct expect it says 2301 instead of 23.01 for example.

624  Economy / Securities / Re: Vircurex may 2013 report, is this a joke Kumala ? on: March 26, 2014, 08:30:12 AM
just wanted to point out that until today, there was still no dividends paid out and there is no information on how long it will go on like this...

until another "hack"? Smiley
well, now we know for sure that we will never get any dividends anymore
625  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptostocks - BTC,DVC,LTC denominated Stock Exchange/Crowdfunding Platform on: March 26, 2014, 01:09:30 AM
i fear that the whole cryptostocks platform could be abandoned by the users if the know vircurex is run by the same guy  Embarrassed
yesterday i saw a lot of sell orders here on cryptostocks. maybe the first users wanted to get out their cryptocoins and therefore sold their investments?!?!

it does, atleast back then it was hosted on the same server. VCX or C::S got hacked and wallets of both services have been compromised the same time.
626  Other / Archival / Re: closed on: March 25, 2014, 07:05:52 PM
also why didn't these fuckers cover some ltc last november at record lows?? they wrote in the november report

The decline in NAV is due to the price increase of the coins that we have an underrecovery in, primarily LTC

you idiot, buying some ltc back there at 0.008?

also they lost massively with the Aurumxchange’s Default as reported in the august report

https://vircurex.com/Reports/2013-08.pdf

and a theft of FTC too

SO TOTAL negative -1000BTC since long

how the fuck can a company run with negative NAV?
they should have raised more capital or shut down business, in order to limit any losses on depositors.

what happened is totally criminal, and everybody should have been alerted of this, instead, even if I spend hours in here, this never came to my attention. I didn't know FUCK!

I mean vircurex is one of the oldest exchange, when I started there was vircurex and btc-e pretty much nothing else.

unfuckingbelievable... WHY THIS SITUATION WASN'T MADE PUBLIC everywhere??

should have been the first thread on many boards:

VIRCUREX IS RUNNING WITH NEGATIVE NAV: BEWARE EVERYBODY

i have pointed out the VCX stock scam alot of pages back.
627  Other / Archival / Re: closed on: March 25, 2014, 06:16:38 PM
so it looks like there was not even a litecoin left in that scummy exchange. unbelievable.
why this motherfucker kept on going on fractional reserve instead of raising funds after the last heist?
he lost everything last may, shareholders wiped out, best thing to do was to raise fresh money and start from a sound financial position or close down with minimal damage.
he kept on screwing customers and depositors. crazy fuck

Has anyone successfully withdrawn any of the other coins ?

I just dumped my FTC for DVC and got this "wallet is currently offline" message on the withdrawal attempt.

My BTC deposit continues to be MIA.

DVC and QRK are empty currently AFAIK.
629  Other / Archival / Re: closed on: March 24, 2014, 04:48:41 PM
FYI

"2013-05 VCX is currently not paying dividends, see released reports for details."
"...Depending on the trading volume development this is expected to take 9 to 12 months..."

Now it's almost that 12 months, so there is need to steal money from ordinary users, investors are already robbed.
it was a well planned scam, twice scammed. once at VCX shares and now Vircurex itsef...
630  Other / Archival / Re: closed on: March 23, 2014, 11:06:10 PM
im so tired of this  - just left my trust rating.
same goes for me...
631  Other / Archival / Re: closed on: March 23, 2014, 07:46:57 PM
So to recap:

Make Vircurex an asset on cryptostocks (same owner) named VCX.
Owner breaks the contract with his investors and shovels losses on ivenstors in form of no dividends.
Vircurex pays for having alot of btc/similiar on/in it.
Vircurex freezes those money because they have no more coins themself.

Yea, 3 times scammed. well done Kumala, you ruined once a great exchange!
632  Other / Archival / Re: closed on: March 23, 2014, 07:30:45 PM
I'm sorry but it sounds like Vircurex owners are trying to solve their own promlems for our hard-earned money. I was wondering why some alts exchange rate went up recently (VTC for example). Now I see the reasons for this. If you are an exchange owner and you wanna an alt-coin exchange rate to go up to the sky, just stop withdrawing everything except for this alt-coin. Easy success formula.
i agree, first the scam of the VCX stuff, now this. well done kumala, now your official a scammer... im really disappointed if you are still the same guy...

why did the quarkpool.info closed down?

i got like 8 quark on my acc, how do i get them out?
your fault, dont use centralized pools, use p2pool!
634  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: March 22, 2014, 08:45:36 PM
Hi guys.. Have you seen that on the BS, sorry BA website ?

As far I remember, when I ordered the X-1, they announced around 0.5W/Gh, which was great, then , they moved to a 0.65W/Gh, and now :

Preliminary specifications:
Node process: 28nm High Performance Process
Package: High Performance Flip Chip BGA
Clock: 1.01 Ghz (Slow/Slow corner)
Voltage: 0.85V
Cores: 99 fully unrolled cores
Efficiency (including leakage): 0.75 W/Ghash/second

This means, the UPS I have bought, the electrical installation changes I have done are NOT corresponding ANYMORE to their new specifications !!! Also, they seem to have AGAIN delays, and worse, instead of concentrating their power to be "Just-In-Time", they have started a new project with LTC chips !

First time I invest on BSPO (Bullshit Pre-Orders), from firms that are unable to manage what they offered ! Not sure if I am going to ask for a refund from the sellers...

Still expecting news from Matt and the OFODB to be soon available (Old Fucking Orders Database)... And don't tell me that 6 months + 25% of hashing power will cover the losses I have had (UPS going to be overloaded, even I took one UPS with 25% more power as required !) ...

Angry Michel.

I would request a refund...
i have asked for a refund but no answer. they sometime read the ticket and set priority to the lowest.
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official Anoncoin chat thread (including history) on: March 17, 2014, 12:13:44 AM
I did not manage to install the Anoncoin client on Debian either, had to switch back to Windows XP.
Now with I2P installed everything is working fine. Without I2P it doesn't connect, don't know why. But the difficulties I had with debian
annoyed me, but I am not an expert on debian so I can't tell if it was for my lack of knowledge.

Still I love the coin for the I2P and Tor support.
OooKay...  The lack of attention to Linux support --in all forms-- is disturbing.  No matter how I've tried, it's failed.  This has to be intentional.  Disappointing as it has KGW.

I've run Debian exclusively for 16 years, and I am not about to run Winduhs for this, -or- a binary.  If I can't compile from source, AFAIC this is promulgated by the En Ess Ay, regardless of the picture they use for the coin.

You mean that nobody else has noticed?  pfff
are you too stupid to follow compile instructions? you can even copy paste the commands...

So, if i ordered prospero x-3. As i know there will be 2 boxes. 2 devices x 1TH. So if PSU is integrated, that means its already inside the device? But what about ethernet cables, are they included in our package or we have to get them by ourselves? And as I understand we will need 2x ethernet cable as there will be 2 devices?
you are worrying about an RJ45 (ehternet) cable? are you serious? you can get those anywhere... i would rather worry about getting the ASIC itself.
637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BBQCoin, the coin you want to eat. on: March 11, 2014, 05:51:18 PM
I posted this to the BBQ facebook page but figured it needed repeating here.

Has anyone thought of forking BBQ to a KGW and scrypt-N?
Oughta skyrocket the value of everyones coins.

waltsmith

Looks like everyone with a BBQCoin wallet committed suicide and the network is protected by bots.

no i didnt Wink

just updated my wallet and get error "Warning: error reading wallet.dat! All keys read correctly, but transaction data or address book entries might be missing or incorrect

This really Sucks because i was one of the very first people mining this from launch and now i have nothing to hold.  Please advise ?
run with -rescan and the missing tx's should reappear
still nothing changed. Did fix the error i was getting but now all i see in the client is a locked wallet with no coins
does this show any transactions?
Code:
anoncoind listtransactions

are you using winblows?
are you willing to share the wallet for manual repair/inspection?
639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | cPoW | PC mining | Fast Distribution | Stability - on: March 11, 2014, 05:48:22 PM
not this time Max - a number of the foundation have the log in, so give us feedback.

But Max could log in on this also no problem.

Mobile wallet does look great, and hopefully we can develop it further, its a real advantage.

also updated are the two primary miners CPU and GPU, please if you know of a better miner of either post it here.

give examples etc.
especially since now we have a serious open source GPU miner and not a scammy/shady proprietary shit Smiley
