621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OMG !!! Disaster for BitCoin... Who Stole all of PETER SCHIFF's Bitcoins ??? on: January 22, 2020, 03:06:00 PM
where's the hard fact there?

Peter Schiff's Bitcoins wasn't stolen and he already admitted that he lost his keys to access the bitcoins. IMO, this guy is a fraud, how will you lost access easily on his BTC. He is claiming that his wallet is being corrupted and stating his password is already not valid, that's the first time I hear those kinds of excuses on losing BTC. Probably he just wants to give negative thoughts on BTC to the public or just wanted public attention.
Most of the people think PS is just an anti-Bitcoin and probably it's true.

There are two things which is going to happen because of this incident.
First, the bitcoin will dump temporary which it already did and then pump back again. This is because people holding bitcoin always panic on any news, real or fake.  Cheesy

Secondly, if the bitcoin are really lost, i mean the private key is lost, then there is more reduction on bitcoin supply because those bitcoin held in peter wallet are lost forever and couldn't be used.
622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: two gambling games that are players favorite on: January 22, 2020, 01:48:25 PM
~
I already feel different when playing dice games. In the first time, I knew dice games, I played for a long time, and fortunately, I don't use my money or my coins. I get a free coin from the faucet, and I use it for playing dice. And if there is no coin left in my account, I will go to the faucet and get another free coin. I don't use a big amount for placing a bet, and I remember that the amount is not more than 10 satoshi so that I can play for a long time. At that time, I don't think about winning, and I only want to know the game.

But I don't play poker because I don't know how to play and I think that will be too difficult for me to understand the games.

Poker is harder to comprehend than dice, that's for sure. But it's not that hard as you think of it. There are many poker games, and you don't need to know how to play each of them, but you can learn how to play the most popular one, that is Texas Hold 'Em. I can tell you from my own experience that it will take not more than a week to learn this game. I mean, you can learn the rules in one hour, but after a week of practicing you can become a pretty decent poker player, who, with some luck, of course, can outplay any player in the world. It sounds like hard to believe, but it's true. Try it someday. You won't be disappointed. And if you don't want to lose your money to the game, that's fine, good poker sites run free rolls each day, where you can win a dollar or two, while risking nothing.

Also these days there are many video tutorials available on youtube and they are so well explained that by watching them you can have all the knowledge in an hour or two and by playing the few poker games you can easily call yourself lucky. However, as we know no matter how much expert and knowledgeable we are , the wins only depends upon the luck.
623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win a Presidential plane... on: January 22, 2020, 01:23:37 PM
Lets do some math.

6M tickets x $25/ticket = $150M then thats already a 20M profit. Well thats how business works.

No one can stop you if you do sell out your assets/properties etc. No matter what the cause is.
Asking if i would buy a ticket? No. its better to save it up yet we do know on having out of 6M chances.

That's a super idea and i think it opens up a lot of ideas of gathering funds at a government level. By this way, the mexcian government can buy a new place and still get a 20M profit. That's a super idea provided we have 6M tickets sold. Any idea if all the tickets are not sold, will they still hold this contest or return the people's ticket ?
624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: betting exchange or regular sports book on: January 22, 2020, 12:56:00 PM
I don't know if many of you guys have experience with betting exchanges where there is no interruption of a bookmaker that is determing the odds.
I personally like betting on a betting exchange more than placing bets on a regular exchange and particular for 3 reasons.

· Firstly on betting exchanges you mostly have better odds than on a regular sports book.
· Secondly you do not play against a bookmaker but by having the opportunity to back and lay bets the odds are entirely determined by the
  punters themselves.
· But my main reason I prefer to bet on an exchange is that bookmakers do not limit winning accounts. On a regular sports book it happens
very often that your account gets locked or limited for some shady reasons but actually the real reason is because you are a winning
player and a bookmaker doesn't make money on winning players. This is different by betting on an exchange. Bookmakers that run a
betting exchange welcome winning and high roller players just because of the fact the 'house' takes a small % commission on all winning
bets. So for them it doesn't matter if there are winning players because a betting exchange offers p2p bets and the house takes a
commission. It is exactly the same as for example a crypto exchange where an exchange takes a small fee on your trades.

I love gambling with crypto but to place my bets on exchanges I am obligated to use fiat bookies like for example Betfair, matchbook or Betdaq. Cause I didn't find a decent sport betting exchange offering crypto deposits. there are a couple crypto betting exchanges like for example Fairlay and 1xbit.com but personally I think they are pretty poor quality exchanges.

I personally would like a crypto betting exchange to appear with all the features like the big boy exchanges like Betfair, Betdaq and matchbook. What do you think?

Can you tell us on which betting exchange do you use ?
I have not much experienced on betting exchanges and mostly bet on sportsbooks. If the odds are better in betting exchange, i can check that too for my future bets.
625  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: if you want to read bitcoin and other crypto news here are the sites to go on: January 21, 2020, 05:24:00 PM
This are the sites that are helpful for newbies and some who like to read daily news about bitcoin and crypto
we can see and read and be aware of what is going to happen inside crypto currencies insights and incoming
projects sites are as follows:

1. Coindesk - www.coindesk.com
2. CoinTelegraph  - https://cointelegraph.com/
3. News Btc - https://www.newsbtc.com/
4. bitcoinist - https://bitcoinist.com/
5. blockonomi - https://blockonomi.com/
6. bitcoinmagazine - https://bitcoinmagazine.com/

These are the very famous and popular sites but i do not trust all the news on them. The reality is that whales also influence the news on these sites and sometime they give negative news to make people dump and similiary give postive news to make people buy the bitcoins and infact they make the moves opposite to that.
626  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: How to Protect Your Crypto Wallet if Someone Searches Your Phone? on: January 21, 2020, 03:59:08 PM
It is advisable to keep your private key or phrase in hardware wallet or some offline storage system as keeping these detail in phone will be a stupid decision. Talking about crypto related app , always enable 2fa and pin security option so it will difficult for another party to look inside your app and do not install these miner or false looking apps or do not give access to them.

If you are using crypto wallets on your phone, it is advisable that you do not install lot of unwanted apps. Only install the required apps and never install directly from .apk untrusted sources. Also it is more secure to use iOS than Android as iphones are more secure than any android phones.
627  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | Crypto Powered Sportsbook and Casino | 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 on: January 20, 2020, 06:02:24 PM
Australian Open money back promo on the sports betting is very tough we need to be very lucky to win the money back. As per the rules, only the first bet is eligible for the money-back and the player we betted on has to lose the match after winning the first two sets. The money-back promo could have been designed better.

You normally do not find gambling sites giving the money back offer if you lose a bet. This is the first time i am seeing this offer, although the conditions for this are though, but it is still better to have it on stake.
628  Economy / Speculation / Re: Monday Is the Best Day to Buy Bitcoin? on: January 20, 2020, 05:28:41 PM
I haven't gone through any charts or the graphs, but during my trading practice I've experienced the starting days of week to have a low price compared to the weekend price. The graph now confirms the statement Monday is good for buying. This can be easily understood by taking the average for the past three or four months performance.

Bitcoin is more volatile during the weekends because the business are closed and volume is less during the holidays. Whales take advantage of this and pump or dump the bitcoins. Also Sunday is the closing of the week and i believe a lot of manipulation is done to close the week as decided by the whales.

630  Other / Archival / Re: Ever played at any of these casinos? on: January 19, 2020, 02:01:53 PM
The nine casino listed on the sites are below.

I only know fortunejack (because of the forum signature campaigns) and haven't heard about any other casino from this list let alone playing there. If they want to attract players from this forum they better increase their marketing budget.  Wink

OP is not the official representative of these sites and he has listed them as his own opinion. The unknown sites which we never saw or discussed on this forum, may not even know that those are being discussed in this thread and maybe their marketing strategy does not even include this forum.
631  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | Crypto Powered Sportsbook and Casino | 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 on: January 19, 2020, 01:21:45 PM
Bitcoin is above 9000$ now but how it is linked with gambling with stake ?

The higher bitcoins get, the more gambling chips you get dollar-wise.

If you have 1 btc, you can now gamble $9k on this casino. If btc was $1k, you would only have $1k to wager and your profits will be lower too.

I do not think if gamblers think like this. There are two types of gamblers.
One who do not see the dollar value and focus on the satoshi being gambled. The bitcoin prices have no effect on these type of people as they will continue betting the same amount.
Second type of people are those who look at the dollar value and if they want to bet like 10$ they will convert it in satohsi at current rates and bet it. This way the total satoshi's bet will be lower in days when bitcoin prices are higher.

Agreed, It all depends on how you look at it. Some people want dollars, some people want more bitcoins. If more bitcoins is what you want then dollar value against bitcoin is not important but I am sure not everybody sees it like this. Some people are indeed after more dollars rather than making more bitcoins.

In case anyone thinks that bitcoin is too precious or is too expensive, he can always use Doge to play gambling. I often use Trx and doge while gambling on stake.com and also you can save transaction fees too if you use these two coins for gambling.
632  Economy / Gambling / Re: Binary Options (Financial Betting) Crypto Trading & No Deposit Bonuses in 2020 on: January 19, 2020, 09:00:42 AM
Don't do binary options. Please don't!

They are a scam! I think that has been well documented on the web by now.

I guess some people just don't care. I don't understand how you don't care if your screwing someone over though.

There are two things to note here. First is the broker for the binary options. If the broker or site where you are playing binary option is shady then of course you will be scammed. But even you are able to find the trusted broker, then again the binary option is itself very risky and a wrong selection will make your money lost. That's why most people think binary option is scam.
633  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: From being a shitposter before now almost there![Hero Rank] on: January 19, 2020, 08:28:41 AM

To be honest I did rank up fast due to the Art Contest and that's really a big help for me. Also some of the users on my Local supports me for my helpful post. The Forum is quite big to explore and planning to go outside my comfort zone. Especially reading on Bitcoin Discussion and
Development and Techincal discussion boards.

Other then the art contest, your other posts are quite good and you have been constantly getting the merits for your posts. I am sure you can become hero member soon because the way you are progressing is just awesome. Congratulations on your achievement.
634  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to start earning crypto? Bitcoin or altcoins? on: January 19, 2020, 07:09:02 AM
Hi members of this forum.

I am just starting in crypto stuff and I am a little confused beacuse the overload of information online. I've read that Bitcoin is not what it was used to be, or that mining is not profitable anymore. Also I've read that to make money it is better to work with altcoins.

What would be your advice for someone who does not own any cryptos but want to get some to enter in the crypto trade world?
Is it better to mine alt coins? If so, do you advice on one in specific?
And what is the  fastest way to earn BTC?  I have read that with signature campaigns but I am a newbie so I can't have a signature yet.
Any advice?
Thank you

Right now is the best way to earn Bitcoin even a small amount of satoshis is great as the price is moving up, I highly recommend this forum Cryptotalk, I have an account here, and I'm earning 1000 satoshis, it's better than bounty campaign from ICO and much better than faucets where you are only earning 10 sats per claim.

1000 sat per post is very less and you should only work for it if you have no other skills. If you have some skills, then you may earn a lot more through freelancing and even if freelancing doesn't pay you in crypto, you can always convert your earnings in crypto and save it for future.

636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it good to talk about big gains? on: January 18, 2020, 02:42:28 PM
I would definitely agree on what you have pointed. I don't have the habit of sharing my winnings or loses. No one wants to know that and people will start judging you by that which will irritate you if you're not ready to take it.
I also don’t like to share about my gain from gaming with people because they are not my well-wishers and in my family, only my mama and papa do know how much I am winning as it’s good to keep your parents aware of your activities so in case of need they will be with you. I don’t talk about my profit especially in public places no one should know about it.

I also do the same because if my friends know that i won big amounts, they will start asking to give some money to them or may ask me to give them treat. But when i lose some amount, no one cares about me. So why should i tell friends who just want to enjoy with my winning amount and wouldn't care when i am in trouble.
637  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★ BitGame.online ★ Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook ★ Welcome Package up to 5 BTC ★ on: January 18, 2020, 11:29:54 AM
Guess that’s one way to expose incompetence in a casino. From their attitude it definitely doesn’t seem like a good casino.
What attitude do you expect from us when user trying to get coins that he did not win?

Just proof him that he is wrong by proper evidence.
Without evidence playing blames games will not help the Bitgame casino and also not the player too. There are way too many complains here.
638  Economy / Speculation / Re: My opinion about the price movement of BTC on: January 17, 2020, 11:35:34 AM
The sad part about everyone trying to connect bitcoin movements to something is that every time it moves you will have to be forced to find a reason for it. Lets be honest this market is unregulated so the only thing that makes bitcoin go up is you buying it, and vice versa for going down, which all comes down to this ; bitcoin is volatile because it is volatile, no need to find a reason.

Just like now for example, we went from almost going under $7k to reaching almost $9k, do we really need a reason for it? I mean couldn't it be just that some people bought bitcoin and others who saw it bought as well and then there was collective buying? Can't that just be the reason for it? Do we really have to have a "big" secret reason for the ups and downs?

Market is unregulated that's true and we all have to accept that. FUD, FOMO, speculation are what drives the price of bitcoin and other crypto. There were predictions few days back that bitcoin going to 5k$ and all of sudden it jumped up to current price of 8900$.

If you are old in this market, then you would have known that bitcoin moves opposite to the expectations. If majority of the people are expecting it to move it  to 5000$, it will move and jump in the opposite direction and that is what happens. Whales always manipulate and move in opposite direction to liquidate others and get profits.

I am anxious, for the fixed odds too. Think it will increase bets amount a lot due arbers taking advantaged of that.

So, just imagine if they add fixed odds and I can bet in any sports daily... it will be my big chance to get to my goal of 100 millions RP and sure they will send me the Lambo to my home as a gift too...  Grin

But right now,, we must enjoy this weekend, we had a lot of football matches for betting, and I already made my bets to get higher multiplier.

FreeBitco.in is becoming better day by day and with so many contests, lottery and now bettings, there is a lot to play and win from this site. I have been using freebitco.in for last many years and i still enjoy gambling on this site. This is one of my favorite site and for those who are new to gambling or crypto, should visit and play at this site.
640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can we overcome our gambling addiction! on: January 16, 2020, 05:00:40 PM
I believe that if a person has a gambling addiction, then it is obvious that he has psychological problems originating from deep childhood.
These are shortages that a person is trying to compensate for his whole life in one way or another, unconsciously. All you need is to find a very good psychotherapist and heal these psychological injuries.

I think it is impossible to heal gambling addiction because a person who is involved in gambling addiction, he do not listen to anyone advises. The best way to stop a person from doing gambling is to limit his money and remove his access to the money. With no or less money, he will not be able to do gambling and with passage of time his gambling addiction will be reduced.
