I dont think capn is the bribing types - I have had several deals with him and he keeps it on the up and up and pretty straight forward. I was just confused by what was going on and curious if he actually paid for it or not - if he had not actually paid for it, then I would offer to pay he defaulted loan before he actually defaults and then take the chip if possible as it was me that he outbid.

6242  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INFO] Ballet Post Halving Bitcoin Block Now Available 6.25+BTC on: August 03, 2020, 05:36:21 PM
It is accurate - I posted asking if you had had luck. And you asked me not to post. As for the other post, I did not recall sharing my luck, sorry for the sharing twice.

You sent me a PM asking:

Please don't make a new comment EVERY time I bump a thread.  There is no reason for it and sometimes the comments are not helpful.  I appreciate the enthusiasm, but pump the brakes a bit.  Thank you.

Best,
AM

there is a difference - one) the quote you tossed up was from what? 17/18 days ago? Things change in two weeks and your bump brought it back up to the top of the board, so I wanted to ask if you had any luck.

I post in collectibles about the items that I like - I have spent over 3 bitcoin since March buying from the collectibles - while that might not be a lot for some of the guys with super deep pockets, it is a lot for me and for you to insult me because I made two posts in almost 3 weeks on one of your threads is just rude.

But as I stated in my pm, I will not comment any further on any of your future "bumps" and/or threads.

Have a good day.

If he had to borrow funds to pay for the auction win, his bid should void.

IIRC there is no rule about that, Requesting a loan for paying the Auction item is valid. For as long as he win the bidding war fair and able to pay his bid promptly. This is just my opinion and obviously my judgement if ever I'm the host of this Auction. I believe the problem will go to the lender that approved his loan which is not the Auction host business. Wink

Out of curiosity, who is the lender that will approved his loan tho?

seems contrary though to allow this when most require that noob members pay deposits - why simply not allow them to bid and then go to the loan section to secure a loan?

the issue I see with it is, what if they don't get a loan? If someone is wishing to bid on an item, they should have the funds or secure the loan in advance. Though without requiring a deposit from everyone, that would be hard to know or to keep track of.

So maybe that is why it is allowed - which I will concede does make some sense in a roundabout way. Doesnt mean I like being outbid by someone who lacks the funds to pay for the item.

there are some within that first 80 serial numbers that have been redeemed within minutes of their initial loading. Some then reloaded again and then redeemed again as well.

Probably test coins. Gotta make sure the whole funding thing works, I suppose.

Chris

perhaps - I spoke with the guy over there by the name of Frank and he was really surprised to see interest stemming from outside of Switzerland and stated he was not aware their site had been posted here on bitcoin talk.org - their original intent was to develop a website for their friends and family so they could buy them and have access to their public key and funding verification.

He stated they will be working on adding an English version to the site and also stated that the coins are very much a "work in progress" still and admits that they have not loaded a lot of coins yet and their intent is to keep them as affordable as possible.

If I get more from them, I will share it.

Ah very good info I appreciate you sharing this.  I have been in touch with Frank over the last few days but we did not get in to any of those specifics.  Did they mention at all how many were made/going to be made in total ? Obviously they made over 80 via the photos on the site where you can see serial numbers higher than that.

I did ask him some more specifics such as quantity and size, but he has not answered those yet. And yes, I believe that they have made more but maybe not yet funded them - he did say:

...These coins are still "work in progress" and we don't have loaded a lot to be honest....

I understand it as he had funds to pay for the chip when he was bidding - and then took a loan after paying for the chip?

he explained it differently though - said he paid for the auction win - and then later took out a loan.

if not - then I would be very upset as I was winning the auction until he outbid me by 1/3rd of my total bid - no one should be bidding if they do not already have the funds with which to pay.

If he had to borrow funds to pay for the auction win, his bid should void.

I've bought myself some

yes though while he was not familiar with the forums here, he did reach out to others - at least to two others, ChiBitCTy and Lesbian Cow who are receiving samples to review/test. So, while I am waiting for my order, I hope to see them receive theirs first and see what they think of them.

I am still confused - you had .01 btc that you used to pay for the chip - it was sent to minerjones to use as collateral to take out a .009 btc loan?

or did you borrow the .009 btc to pay for the chip and you have to wait to receive it until you pay the loan back?

I am not trying to harass you - just to understand.
6249  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Auction] Satoshi Chip 0.01 poker chip wallet (Closed) on: August 03, 2020, 03:48:32 PM
Hey OP, just curious: did andulolika pay you the 0.01 BTC? I'm asking because I saw a topic where he is begging asking for a 0.009 BTC loan and I believe he made the bid here without even having the necessary money. That topic was created short after he won this auction, thus I think he had only 0.001 BTC and he either by accident or for vanity wrote he is bidding 0.01 lol. And now he asks for 0.009 load which combined with his 0.001 make 0.01 BTC - the money he has to pay for your auction.
You are so stupid you can't even read, how can i take a loan with this very collectible as collateral if I didn't pay for it?

Keep digging for shit but this is a question you ask privately, not bump a dead thread.

so did you pay capn_hash for the chip and did you get the chip from minerjones?

Just curious if the transaction actually completed or not - don't care about some loan, should have nothing to do with this thread.

The chip is being held by minerjones as collateral. I hate spamming threads specially when they aren't relevant anymore.

ah - so it was paid for, sent to minerjones who is now holding it as collateral on a loan, that has not yet been repaid?  The thread to your loan request does not appear as though you got a loan though. Are you still trying to get a loan and thus minerjones has to keep the chip? or is the loan you need so that you can pay for the chip?

I was not lucky enough to get free coins - I had to pay for mine, so I am hoping they are genuine and of good craftsmanship/quality.

So, I have received my June 25th order (my pre-order has yet to arrive and I have written it off - the Austrian Post has provided no tracking - I filed a claim with PayPal and will see where that goes, for now, I have written them off as lost.

I would like to buy the following:

Yellow: Doge, Panda
and
Green: Llama, Panda
and
Blue: Doge, Honey Badger

I don't care if they are 5/6 digit or any type of rarity related to their S/N - just looking to see if I can complete my color sets.

they have a portion of the page where you can search your serial number to get the public key - it stops at 80 - not sure if that means they have only loaded 80 coins to date or they just have not updated their database past 80 coins.

I would be able to escrow if needed - my fee is 1%, I have only escrowed deals for hardware(miners) but this would operate the same way. Let me know if I can help.

Thanks, and about the B yes, but in artwork you can play a bit.

yes but then it is not truly Bitcoin, it is Bitcoin Cash - that is akin to using a USD sign and saying it means Euros - while it may be artistic prerogative, it still does not make it to be what is not.

Do not get me wrong, but it would be more appealing to me if it was an actual Bitcoin emblem.

edit - and bitcoin private slants to the left as well - but their B is a bit different.

I think there three cards where there were 1 of 1 cards - as posted in the original post on this thread.

this appears to be the one you are talking about but it was hand written not typed - as teegumes pointed out - and as it is stated above

this is not a mini, so not the one you are talking about

   None listed

this one is a full size but has a blank back, so again cannot be the one you are talking about

also as teegumes stated, all the numbered cards have been penned, none typed.

the one you posted appears to be the base, lowest value card with 1/1 most likely done with a typewriter as it does not look printed on.

edit - geophphreigh above stated that there was a 1/1 typewritten for the other base cares so maybe it could be legit? I only have the original post as reference.
