641  Economy / Economics / Re: Where and How to Spend Your Bitcoins? on: June 07, 2020, 08:42:17 AM
I previously bought a car from my friend, and I paid him 25 BTC and sent it straight to his wallet. That's the way we trade. In addition, you cannot pay anywhere. If someone denounces you, you will be very heavily imprisoned.
D*mn! That's a cool example of actual transaction using bitcoin Shocked. I wish I can do the same thing but I noticed that my mentor and few friends with the same interest are now silent. Hmm, I don't know why, maybe they gave up already after 2017's ATH.

Just be careful always on choosing the person who you are dealing with. It seems that you've got stronger regulations there compared here in our country.
642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 07, 2020, 06:24:00 AM
Hey guys check this out! Will McGregor retire for real Shocked?

Whether this is real or just a threat, one thing is for sure. Dana is losing talents right now. Bones then Masvidal and then now Conor? He must do a quick response if he really want to save his huge money makers lol. But sadly he is doing nothing, it seems that he is not bothered of these shocking news at all.

Hmm, do you think Conor will do it or it's just his tactics to demand more from Dana. Your thoughts?

643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A day to celebrate and pay tribute to casinos? on: June 07, 2020, 03:25:14 AM
I think there should be a day to celebrate and pay thanks to casinos who give us so much benefits and in return they handle so much criticism and society's curses
Okay, I understand your appreciation for the benefits of casinos that may bring to us but I think it's already unnecessary to give a special date for them. You should realized that business is business. Those casino owners only love our money in our pockets and not us. Besides, they can drink a bottle of champagne and make a celebration every day if they want to while all of us are hardly finding good fortunes on their tables.

Hmm, if you really want to show a big thanks to them then keep playing. That's enough I guess Cheesy.
644  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My Bitcointalk on: June 07, 2020, 01:54:58 AM
My journey here from a p2p trader to PRO trader both in stock market and leveraging trading is really wonderful. I learn a lot by reading all wise words from veterans trader.
Huhuhu I'm getting jelous with the current achievements you have Sad. You are now a pro trader but look at me, I'm still struggling in saving money to start my journey. Plus, the pandemic hinders me to find a job making my goal even farther from me. But I am never losing hope, maybe 2021 would be a great year for me and for all of us. All I need is a f*cking laptop (until now I can't buy one) and a right capital to start. I will keep grinding!
I hope that this forum will be alive until BTC reach 1M$ price to infinity and beyond.  Grin
That's for sure mate. As long as there are people who believe and use bitcoin, the forum remains alive so don't worry. I just hope I will experience that 1M mark lol.
645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OK! Who is THIS Bitcoiner? on: June 06, 2020, 10:12:28 AM
This is a big fan of Bitcoin though but he is doing it at a wrong place at a wrong time Cheesy.
I agree but who knows? Maybe he is aware of the risk of that riot but he still took that opportunity to get the attention of the media and spread the gospel lol Grin. And with that being said, I admire him for being witty and having strong guts as well.

I'm quite happy that he is somewhat advertising Bitcoin but the words are just over exaggerated. How can Bitcoin will save us at first place.
Mate what would you expect written on a piece of cardboard? Of course you cannot find his full explanation in there so I understand if he just choose a short, sweet and catchy tagline.
646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best altcoin ??? on: June 06, 2020, 06:50:52 AM
Don't listen to the random suggestion. Look at the thread, you will see people shilling or promoting shit coins. Again, you will always receive biased suggestion. People will convince you to invest in coins that they have invested in, no matter how shit that coin is.
Chill dude, there's nothing wrong for saying your own opinion. Yeah I agree that some of them are just shilling a new token but at the end of the day the decision would be on OP. I just hope he is smart enough to avoid these traps Grin.

But if I were to OP, I'll stick to bitcoin first or pick at least eth or btc cash as a jump-start. And then he could deal with more volatile alts once became more experienced.
647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] The Best Casino Promotions on: June 06, 2020, 05:15:57 AM
I'll go with the first two options. I mean, without any single doubt, everyone loves 'FREE' lol Cheesy. And through these, a particular casino can keep their customers playing even on the times that they are already losing. Player's interest are kept since they knew that they can still spin or can still bet despite of having a bad day. These things are effective perks to give them hope and also a way of showing their care for their customers somehow. So I think every casino should have at least one among these two if fhey want their business became more popular.
648  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Humility helps your trading capabilities on: June 06, 2020, 02:43:21 AM
I say this because a proud and arrogant trader to the market, will have a trouble looming ahead trading because over confidence in trading leads to losses.
Yeah! Because in every aspect, "too much" is not always good. There's no problem for being confident because it gives you the feel of positivity making your trading lighter and less stressful but when it becomes too much that's where the irregularities enter. You tend to get comfortable and slowly forgetting the risks you are dealing with. This emotions might lead you to making mistakes since you are too ecstatic. Money talks should be taken seriously, stay focused because losing is not a joke Cheesy.
649  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cryptocurrency Courses for Beginners on: June 06, 2020, 01:05:02 AM
Wow, this is so good Smiley. I thought you need to pay first before getting an access but it's not that's why I'm so glad. Another factor I like about it is that it is so organized, each courses offer vital informations in chronological order (I mean the contents become broader as you read, not narrower). I'll definitely save this one and read it later, maybe this site will teach me more about crypto trading.
650  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Things I have learned from this forum. on: June 05, 2020, 08:33:03 AM
It's been a while kabayaan. Hi! I'm glad that I see you growing and enjoying here in our forum Smiley. Actually getting 20 merits within a month (almost) is quite impressive already. Great job! Just continue grindi.g and it will pay off in the end. Like what have you said, always be responsible — be a learner anda good member at the same time.
There is a disappointment when I created a thread and got deleted, I was wondering the reason of deleting my posts, but upon thinking, I realized that this forum is not like other forums, this forum only accepts quality and good posts.
Well, it really happen sometimes. But it doesn't necessarily mean that your rejected thread is a sh*tpost so don't be sad. Maybe the mods find it as a duplicate of an existing one Cheesy. Move on and keep trying.
651  Other / Meta / Re: Allowing username change, is it good? on: June 05, 2020, 04:37:17 AM
I used to know who the creator is but he is not the one there. For a moment, I forgot that theymos sometimes changes username on request.
Nah, that guy sacrificed 50 BTC and "VIP" title for the name change: (jk)
Aside from the confusion and threats it may bring, it was so expensive Shocked! This is also one of the main reasons why changing one's name is unnecessary. Imagine how so impractical to spend 50 btc just for minimal changes. Maybe it would be more interesting if it will be in exchange for merits lol. I'm not against luxurious spending but of course much better if he spend it to more purposeful stuff like investing and helping the needy.
652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PAGCOR waiting for the approval to reopen land-based casinos. on: June 05, 2020, 01:10:52 AM
Within two days, the number of covid 19 cases here in the Philippines climbed by 1000 making a total of 20000+. That's absolutely disturbing because it seems that we are not flattening the curve at all. Just an update.

Despite of this, I hope IATF still give permit for land based casinos to continue their business. I know that the situation might get even worse by reopening such non essential sectors but let us put in our consideration that our nation's coffers are depleting fast. Tax revenue from such industries could help a lot. Here is an article you can read to give you estimated numbers (sorry I can't find a more updated one). As long as they will strictly comply on the safety protocols, they can eliminate the spread of the virus.

The disappointing part right here just that the government are not focussing on the pandemic and focus on other things.
Indeed. Actually I'm worrying a little bit with regards to protesters who conduct rallies recently promoting to junk Anti Terror Bill. Well I agree with their vision but, please for God's sake, not in the times of pandemic. I think government should postponed this bill for the meantime in order to calm those protesters and avoid mass gatherings Undecided.
653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 04, 2020, 12:18:19 PM
I hope "he will comply para pwedi ng maglaro".
I love the meme Grin. At least we still have reasons to laugh despite of the negative issues we are experiencing here in our country. Thanks Kim lol (peace yow)

But kidding aside, I also wish Abueva can be able to come back soon. Maybe on the next conference? I am not a fan of him to be honest (actually I'm more excited for Fajardo's full recovery) but I miss his charisma somehow. I can see Rodman in him — a great player with a gangsta attitude. But once he back, I really hope he already changed for real because at the end of the day the sport he is playing is basketball. Too much commotions are inappropriate.
654  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Vs Cryptocurrency, which would you choose? on: June 04, 2020, 10:16:41 AM
I will be choosing fiat as long as there will be merchants that dont support crypto
Well, I'm pretty sure that is what going on for the rest of us here. Since the scalability of bitcoin or crypto in general is not so big yet, people those who are willing to harness it more got no options. I really love the concept of bitcoin technology, it is so futuristic Cheesy. However, the majority are still not into it most especially government and banks.

So for now, I will just lie in the middle. I like bitcoin but I still need fiat on the other hand.
655  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My 1000th post on this forum! Things I have learnt :) on: June 04, 2020, 05:26:21 AM
Not many months ago I was a newbie, lurking here thinking how others are so smart
Yeah, I also feel intimidated to some members who are really smart especially on the technical discussions and those who are in the Meta section as well. Fortunately I was able to accept the fact that each one of us got their own strengths and weaknesses. I think it's just that there are things where I am good but you are bad at and vice versa Cheesy. But these imperfections are beneficial to us somehow also because it encourage us to keep improving.
[/quote]
You are lucky that you knew that it is your 1000th post. I even didn't notice when I was there.
Me too Grin, maybe because it's not a big deal for me. Actually, I didn't notice that I'm now heading to 3000 mark lol.
656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Patience above all will be rewarded here on: June 04, 2020, 02:40:24 AM
The people who buy in rallies and sell during bear markets and then don't believe in bitcoin anymore are clowns. If the price went to 25k in the next few months I guarantee it that the community will double maybe even quadruple in just a few days.
I hope that 25k in just remaining couple of months will do come true. That would be the greatest comeback for all of us in this miserable 2020 Cheesy.

But kidding aside, those people who buy at rallies and sell at bearish days you are pertaining to is just a bunch of people FOMO. They are opportunistic individuals who decide to hop in because of the price hike. I've witnessed it last ATH (I'm scared for it to happen again). Because we all know that oldies would never do that lol. How sad to think that majority of people show support to btc only during the skyrocket, but after the fall down, they're already gone as well. It seems that they're here just only for the profits and not the adoption Sad.
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much have you earned in one year on: June 04, 2020, 01:32:23 AM
I imagined how most bounty participants and trader who are below the senior rank most especially those who do not know how to choose good/high rewarding projects if they would would have even made up to $1k in the past 1 year.
Yeah right! I reckon it's very hard for most lower ranked members to earn that amount for the whole year because of terrible misfortunes most especially happening in these days. Some bounties do not pay their participants, and if you get your stake good luck for you if you can successfully dumped it after being enlisted Cheesy.
How would they feel if they have nothing meaningful to withdraw at this pandemic period and just looking at their wallet helplessly.
OMG! Ideally speaking, that must be okay since bounties and sig campaigns should only be a source of extra income. Maybe it will only be understandable if you are a student simce you can't find a job yet. Don't get me wrong, it's very sad if you weren't able to get money from here but I think you should not solely rely in here. You can do other means like online selling of goods and services you can offer Smiley.
658  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This forum is much more than just signature campaigns... on: June 03, 2020, 10:55:16 AM
Well, I'm sure that we have many desparate members who make a living from these campaigns.
I agree that there are plenty of them. Let's not get too far, imagine how many members here got red tag because of being guilty of "dual account in one campaign". It's so annoying to see such kind of people because it seems that they're really willing to do something wrong and got dirty reputation in exchange of higher rewards. But well, I can't blame them either because we don't know what they are going through in life. We can't understand them until we able to place ourselves on their shoe, and that's sad  Sad. However, rules are rules. Face the consequences if you violate.
659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Home Court advantage = Not an advantage now because of no-live audience? on: June 03, 2020, 08:32:01 AM
What do you think, does this home-court advantage, still an advantage now?
No longer at all. Let's accept that this is now the new normal. Expect that sports events will be held with few to no audience at all. And you may also think that it is actualy the main reason why sports orgs. don't resume their business yet because large portion of their revenue came from ticket sales.

Guys check this out. Even Joe Rogan of UFC feeling new with the silent ambiance https://www.facebook.com/587803194998190/posts/933322233779616/?app=fbl. What more for the figjters lol Grin.
660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Leaving Bitcoin as inheritance on: June 02, 2020, 11:47:57 PM
[....] 4 - If you die, your family must get into your home/safe box, get the encripted keys and use the characters to perform a brute force atack in order to get the keys.
That was a nice yet a little bit tricky way of passing your coins to your loved ones Cheesy. But what if you died because of a sudden accident (knock on the wood), how did they find where your safety box located? And how can they open it just in case you used a vault? Well, just a "what if".

I think much better to do is pick someone who you trusted the most. The one who really loves you as a whole and not because of your money. You can tell him/her your private keys right away and how can they have it. You now have nothing worry about because if a person really loves you, he will not get tempted with all of the assets you have and try to backstab you over these material things Smiley. It is very crucial so choose wisely.
