641  Economy / Economics / Re: Another good news for cryptocurrency in the Philippines on: June 15, 2019, 03:18:06 PM
Iloilo properties for sale accepts crypto as payment

These properties are owned by cryptocurrency proponents who believe that a conversation on making cryptocurrencies a viable payment option should start.

The owners are both cryptocurrency proponents, and told CoinGeek that they believe that a conversation towards seeing cryptocurrencies as a viable payment option should start.

The owners also said that another reason why they accepted cryptocurrency payments is because of their plan to have the proceeds from the sale of the properties allocated into a cryptocurrency investment.

It is good to see some more crypto adaptation and some attention paid to it, especially in the Philippines since it is considered one of the most bitcoin and crypto supporters, i hope that other companies and sellers take the same route, as paying for properties with bitcoin seems a little bit impossible as the people who own a large amount are probably going to hold it and they are not the spending type, i think the best way for crypto to advance and get accepted everywhere is micro transactions like Amazon or ebay.
642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if US government made Bitcoin illegal? on: June 15, 2019, 02:22:51 PM
Let's say tomorrow there's a US law that any US person who gets caught with bitcoin server goes automatically to jail for lifetime.
And the 2400 US bitcoin nodes would go offline.
What would happen to price?
What would happen to hash power?
How long would it take to recover?
Let's speculate!
Assuming that bitcoin gets banned from the US it won't happen in a day or tow, people will have a notice before it does, and therefore i believe that between the time when the ban is announced and leading to the start of taking it into measure there will be a mayhem in the network , as all those coins and bitcoin that are owned by US resident start being moved, imagine how much bitcoin will be available to buy and that would mean that the supply will increase and that will actually affect the price in a bad way and we will see a high drop in it.
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: United States Residents Will Lose Access to Many Altcoins Starting in September on: June 15, 2019, 02:05:57 PM
It really doesn't make sense to me, to see government and other parties working so hard on regulating crypto in the US to which they have come a long way comparing to other countries, and on the other hand they have been banning and closing exchanges, and most of the ICO and IEO have blocked their sales for US citizens, either way if there is a will there is a way and still there is a fair amount of exchanges sites left out there for people to use, but this makes me think that they might start doing the same as the others and restricting the US.
644  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Please suggest alternative to Coinbase for buying BTC with Bank transfer or card on: June 15, 2019, 11:53:03 AM
I mean as far as bank transfers you can try p2p exchanges like localbitcoin or bestchnage, it might not seem to many people that it is not safe or trusted but it is since there are options for escrow, and you can find many trusted users that will have bank transfers or credit cards, just try to go with the trusted ones and not get greedy and look for the best price because that is how most people fall for it and they get scammed.
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: facebook bullshit stable coin, spread this as hard as you can... on: June 14, 2019, 09:17:33 PM
I think that facebook might not be the hero we want but the hero we need for cryptocurrency to reach that adaptation we need, whether we all agree or not about if it is another useless coin that just adds up the shit pile of altcoin that we have or it is good and has its use or whether Zack is just making it souly for profit purpose, but we all can agree that if it find success and people are fond of it could lead to other major companies following their steps and it will lead to crypto taking over.
646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Officially Confirmed Their Coin! White Paper To be Out This Month! on: June 14, 2019, 08:58:33 PM
Facebook’s head of financial services and payment partnerships for Northern Europe has officially confirmed the stablecoin according to this news. https://www.cryptoinformers.info/news/160-facebook-officially-confirmed-their-coin-white-paper-to-be-out-this-month

white paper for the token would be published on June 18.

But the coin will be tied to basket of currencies in order to prevent volatility.

Can we say mass adoption for cryptocurrency?
It obvious that we are moving towards an ear where everything is digital, and whether facebook is doing this and creating their own currency for the profit or just to try something new, it will be a deciding factor and its success or failure will shape the future of cryptocurrency overall and whether other will start adopting it or not, but i think that because of how facebook is well established and have so many users across all its platforms it might be the push that crypto has long awaited for.
647  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When 💩 hits the fan... on: June 14, 2019, 08:22:46 PM
Probably one of the biggest reason why people usually panic and start selling left and right when shit hits the fan, is because they haven't done enough research and just do trades based on other people's decisions and ideas, i get it sometimes you don't have the time to make research and look up what coins are goo and what are ones that are not going to do that well so you turn to those who are experts but you will never get anywhere if you just stay a follower, you have to believe in the trade that you are about to make and the coin that you are about to invest in in order to know what to do, and not do things because someone else said to do it.
648  Economy / Economics / Re: would you give your fingerprint or eye scan for a fair money supply? on: June 14, 2019, 08:13:08 PM
Giving a fingerprint to some random will surely get you in trouble, just thinking about they could easily put it on a crime seance and accuse of murder or theft, but giving an eye scan does not sound that big of a deal because there will be no use for it, unless you are the president or some owner of the a secret vault they can't use it, so i don't see a harm in giving an eye scan for money for the time being, but i am still against giving crucial personal details that are not already public.
649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I pay with Bitcoin? on: June 14, 2019, 07:39:15 PM
Soooo... any other places where I can shop with BTC aside from these five? https://cryptotradernews.com/insights/5-places-where-you-can-pay-with-bitcoin/

Would love to transition all of my family expenses to crypto!

Thanks in advance!
There are a lot of ways that you can spend bitcoin to buy literally everything that you need these days, if you are in a country where bitcoin is legal and known by most people than it won't be hard for you to find places where to spend them, and the shops that accept bitcoin shouldn't be just online retailers there are lots of shops in real life that accept it, for example if you live in the UK you can use this site to find which are close to you

650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still investing in ICOs? Let me know! on: June 14, 2019, 07:23:13 PM
Hey guys.

I do currently ask myself if the ICO market will bounce back?. In how many ICOs do you typically invest and what is the average investement?.

Let me know.

I do currently work with a team on an ICO and i find it very important to understand the community and their investment habbits in 2019

Glad to hear the opinion of the bitcointalk community.
ICOs for me are just a thing of the past, they no longer have an audience that is able to support it and push the tokens in order to make significant profit from them, since 2018 the market has started getting flooded with shitcoins that have no new ideas to add to the market, they are just for an attempt to make profit and if they don't work thier developers just ditch them and quit with all the people's money, and so many of them lead to people to lose trust in this market, and so the ICO is no longer as good.
651  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the next trading method that I should learn? on: June 14, 2019, 07:09:59 PM
I learned how to scalp crypto-currency and I do it well. I'd like to learn a new system. What do you suggest?
It does not matter what trading system that you sue, once you get the basics and think that you are able to make consistent profit and you know how the market works you could easily get into any trading method, there is no one trading method that is going to always give you profit, but for the crypto market where it is always changing you have to adept to it and change you ways as well.
652  Economy / Economics / Re: Are there any communists in this forum? Is it compatible with crypto? on: June 14, 2019, 05:42:23 PM
In my opinion crypto maximalism (which implies libertarianism, freedom from state's control of our money) is not compatible with being a communist or even a socialist, as the implementation of these systems requires always some kind of force being applied by the state to "redistribute" wealth, but maybe someone can prove me wrong.

We may all have different ideologies and have different political beliefs, but the only thing that everyone agrees on and the only thing that everyone likes is money, and bitcoin gives everyone the opportunity to make some, so it does not matter whether you are a communist or a librettist, plus in our current society most of the people don't care about these kind of ideologies, for the late boomers and beyond who are the people that are shaping the future don't care about these stuff.
653  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance to block US customers on: June 14, 2019, 10:46:08 AM
Binance, the largest exchange by volume is now going to leave behind it's US based customers. Anyone verified as US citizen won't be able to trade while the IP from US would be blocked by default effective from 12th September, 2019.
Binance Dex is also blocking US IPs.

https://www.theblockcrypto.com/2019/06/14/us-customers-to-be-blocked-from-trading-on-binance-com/
Bitcoin and crypto may be accepted in the US but they are heavily regulated and monitored and the law is very strict towards them, and anyone could be using them for tax deprivation and money laundering and or other illegal matters , most of the ICOs and IEO also have restricted their customers from the us from participating in them, and i probably think that is why the Binance exchange is also doing so, but at least they are blocking IP and peopele can still use VPN to use it.
654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than gold and USD? on: June 09, 2019, 12:51:23 AM
You really can't compare Bitcoin and gold and usd, to each other , they all have their field, their advantages and disadvantages and and situational use, if you really want some long term and slow profit without having to worry about anything than you go with gold, if you want fast profit than you go with bitcoin, however you can say that bitcoin is to the cryptocurrency market the same way gold is to the real life markets.
655  Economy / Economics / Re: Does it helpful when blockchain integrated to government system? on: June 09, 2019, 12:01:48 AM
Transparency does not really exist in our modern day and especially for governments, because they are constantly lying to us in order to prevent chaos or so they say, if government were actually willing to accept blockchain and accept it as a new system than they would have accepted bitcoin a long time ago and none of them would have banned it, in order for blockchain to become a system of the government the whole system has to be replaced by new people who have vision for the future and actually believe in it.
656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proposed new law to jail Bitcoin holders, miners and sellers in India??? on: June 08, 2019, 11:31:09 PM
As this is just a proposition, it really think that it won't go through because lets be honest 10 years is just way too much it is more years than catching someone with position of drugs, the Indian government has already passed on regulation crypto and exchanges a couple of months agao, and i don't think that they will go as far as putting people in jail for it, i think they might even go and reconsidered as many has shown that they really are interested in it and proves to have many advantages for it, and they might do what Russian government did where they banned it at first and than they went back on their words.
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Blockchain replace the SWIFT system used by Banks? on: June 08, 2019, 11:13:44 PM
I think that with the blockchain technology slowly making its way into many fields in our lives and people utilizing it in different projects and not just in finance and economy, it is only a matter of time before the whole world moves toward the next step with it and enter a new digital era, and for banks it is not different because they will find themselves at a disadvantages, so right now we see them starting to move towards and slowly easing their way into it.
658  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bulls Near Exhaustion, Investors Should Be Wary on: June 08, 2019, 09:58:51 PM
According to a recent Twitter post from Josh Olszewicz, an analyst at Brave New Coin, Bitcoin’s one-day chart is starting to show signs that bears are starting to creep into the cryptocurrency scene. He explains that Bitcoin is currently trading in a rising wedge pattern, which if not broken past, often acts as a catalyst for a bearish trend reversal.

What’s more, there have been bearish divergences between Bitcoin’s price, and the Relative Strength Index (RSI) and the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD). In other words, as BTC has moved higher over the past two weeks, these indicators have trended lower. This is important, as bullish divergences seemingly preceded a number of crypto market rallies throughout recent trading sessions.

Full Story Here.

Your thoughts guys?

All these are prediction and speculation and there is really nothing to worry about, all it is it just a push and pull from whales and bears as they realize that this is might be there last chance to get their hands on some btc at this low of a price as we slowly approach the point where starts buying before the halving in which the prices might reach very high levels, we went back and for between the 7k and 8k multiple times and it is obviously corrections and once it breaks past the 8.5k will be good to go.
659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption In Your Country on: June 08, 2019, 09:03:07 PM

This is for members outside of the United States of America since things going in that country are all on the news but for those countries who are usually outside the radar of the mainstream media, I would like to get updates which can be good and bad, favorable and unfavorable with bitcoin. Here in my country, we have no problem with the government as regulatory bodies are not hindering the growth of cryptocurrency and in fact we have many more exchanges already approved and they can start doing business in 2020. Reading the news in other countries, I am feeling lucky to be a resident here.

What about in your own native land...how's bitcoin adoption been going on? Is there a bright future in there or maybe is it facing a gloomy and cloudy prospect? Let's talk...
The government in my country has yet to announce its decision about cryptocurrency, and that is wetehre to regulate it or just ban it like all the others, and i think that it has to do with the fact that there is not a lot of people who are using bitcoin or at least haven't been vocal about it in here, but way back in 2017 an central bank official has stated the fact that they approve of crypto currency and they are thinking about ways to utilize the blockchain technology.
660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who watches the watchman? on: June 08, 2019, 08:49:50 PM
Let's start with KYC,  this ICO project developer's will launch a project and state that they want to remain unknown whiles they forced KYC on both the investors and bounty hunters.

The big question should KYC be mandatory for everyone...

Will the anonymous goals be achieved with KYC?
There is no point in trusting developers who want to KYC and not let people know them, if these people had nothing to hide they would not be afraid of exposing who are they and let people and investors trust them with their runing a project, i think that KYC should only be used for people who are truing to buy a large amount and not for everyone, and the the developers who are runing it should be known otherwise there is a potential scam and people should stay away from it.
