So, I'v been talking to a guy called "Jack Liao".

Claiming to have a 3MH scrypt unit running on these chips (i think) at 80w + 100ghs sha256 as a "bonus" Smiley

Anyone else been talking to him?

Hes from www.lightningasic.com

That's nice and all, but if he is selling it at $9000 its not really news.

Please let us know what you discover.

They have been selling close to 25 units a day.
Now they are no longer available 225 to 0.
No ! I missed the Neptune's  Cry
I got the BTC I needed this morning ...

You can still get a preorder on Ebay for $230,000 LOL

Thanks but seriously no one cares, your device is about $50 too expensive and really no one is going to buy it

I think you're giving the current target market a little to much credit...

LOL you are probably right!

What's the moon?

Where could this possibly go? $0.01 USD?

Where do you see DOGE in 12 months?

666  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Hacking The KNC Firmware: Overclocking on: January 16, 2014, 09:33:23 PM

Hi,

i just started to fiddle with my 4VRM jupiter.

I tuned to 2.5V SPI and 256k SPIFrequenzy first and then started with 201.

It fires up, Amps go to around 50 and Temps around 60C, and then the miner suddenly shuts down.

Its most probable a PSU shutdown (i am using a Seasonic 1050 Gold) cause after some minutes it boots just normal again.

Any ideas?

dont change anything under the advanced tab. set everything to default and try 211. it is working very good for me.

i did and again miner shuts down after ≈ 10sec

what PSU do you use?

leaving everything at default and just changing to 211 your rig shuts down but does not with the default?

If so, try your Jupiter with 3 modules plugged in, if that works then you are just at the edge of your power supply.

Three modules at 231 should run between 495 and 511GH just FYI

667  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX8A1 - 6/8 chip Coincraft A1 board on: January 16, 2014, 09:28:20 PM
I ask for a refund at Technobit.eu Website on 2013-12-09. They told me, the refund "will be done in 10 days". Yesterday (2014-01-09) I double checked my bank account and get nothing from Technobit. Plus they don't answer to any eMail or Contact-Message furthermore (last few weeks). They are scammers. My Order-ID is FESYNGABJ. I am going to my lawyer and will fight against those scammers using the most possible of an law enforcement. However, law enforcement is much easier sind 2014, because the scammers sitting in Bulgaria and are now  in a country based in the European Union.

Don't purchase anything from Technobit Scammers. They told me to refund via paypal immediately. Nothing happens.

+1

Very nice and why dont you answer your emails and your customers, also deliver your orders from November ??

It will not be easy for you to sell more devices if your company keep showing to everybody that doesn´t have after sales support

Because he is busy screwing people over that's why!!

670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 16, 2014, 04:10:01 PM
Mr. Bitcoinorama said it should level off. My prediction is 0%.

It will level off eventually, but not for a good few months yet.

It will level up when price of electricity spent on the miners equals the price of BTC mined. There's no economic sense to stop before that moment, and people will keep adding the GHs to the network.

I agree, my original comment was referring to the fact it becomes less possible to maintain the disruptive increases as the amount of powerful hardware required becomes substantially more each time. Either the volume of that hardware continues to gather momentum, or the significance in incremental difficulty increase drops.

The moment KnC launched the first step down to the 28nm node it was such a significant leap forward it was able to triple the cumulative network hashrate in a month. The second batch did not have that effect. Right now neither will anybody else's release, however the frequency by which we are expecting new competition to arrive is on the up, not least because many have been delayed to the same(ish) period of time.

I do however wholeheartedly agree, and always have believed that profit margins will be squeezed to such a point by which the returns are close to the costs paid for electricity, as they were with GPUs. Fact is this a low maintenance means of autonomous reward. Brain power aside the initial tech savvy hurdle isn't huge. Not in the same realms of innovating Bitcoins adoption by public where the rewards for those that succeed in that are huge.

Mining just rewards the early adopters willing to take the risk in supporting the idea of a non centralised payment means, and hopefully eventually, a non centralised currency...

When retail sales of hardware "level off" and it is no longer viable for John Q Public to buy bitcoin miners, the retailers will build them for themselves and mine themselves as long as the price of BTC keeps going up.

So sir, CES is over, you are back to work, do you have any news of any kind for your loyal customers?

671  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Cointerra running at 80% ???? on: January 16, 2014, 02:31:58 PM
I think you are jumping the gun, I have no skin in this game (no pre-orders) but its clear to me that slapping the chip on the board and firing it up with version 0.01 of the firmware and getting 80% of the specified performance does not suck at all.

Remember raising the performance is about firmware timing, voltage adjustments, miner tweaks and cooling (to name just a few) how much of that do you think they were able to do so far? Not much is my guess.

Wait another week before you panic.

Just my two pesos.
672  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Product Failures / Underperformance. on: January 15, 2014, 07:51:23 PM
30Gh/s little single, mines around 25-28

Dont think for a moment your alone.  Angry

Its all over the place, the later you were shipped the worse it got.

I have a little Single that mines  at exactly 30.xx (what I paid for)
a Single that mines 57 (3 less than I paid for)
7 gh Jally that mines at 7.2x
7 gh Jally that mines at 8.6x

so I paid for 104gh and I got 102.8ish

compare that to KNC where you paid for 200GH or 400Gh and you got 330Gh or 660Gh respectively.

Not saying BFL owes you that, and I will say their miners have worked flawlessly for me, I cannot however say that about their power supplies which all failed (100% failure rate) i replaced them all with Corsair PSUs and keep the RMA'd replacements on the shelf for last resort backup PSUs.

673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 15, 2014, 07:35:58 PM
Wink KNC will ship new Jupiters soon I'm sure Wink

If they do that it will likely push neptunes into Q2. I'll probably drop my neptune order in that case. I hope they put out some updates soon.

And this ^^^^ is why KNC will not release Jupiters. Perhaps they can just release upgrade modules??

676  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: January 15, 2014, 01:50:43 AM
This is bullshit!

Indeed, this thread was entirely bullshit!

knightlife999 is still active, still running an active mining operation and I have done over $10k of business with him without any incident.
I personally vouch for his character and integrity.
I'm not sure who questioned knight's character, but I think it was thought that knight could 100% confirm Joe Reynolds = Taran Gill, who is not an innocent party according to complaints filed, he was named in a court document which listed him as a defendant related to Terrahash.

You people had better stop barking up the wrong trees and dragging innocent people into your witch hunt lest you have it blow up in your face.

So here is the deal STFU or belly up to the bar and get an attorney and sue the principals of Terrahash and leave the rest of the world alone.
You are a bunch of armchair lawyers and here in the real world we eat people like you for lunch btceic.
Questions?

One question: Why do you direct so much anger at parties complaining about the scammers, and are more annoyed at their persistence to complain about the company that took everyone's money and ran off with it? Deadbeats can't even pay their rent.

Oh, and Joe, did you ever talk to Tarin Gill? Just curious as Tarin has a wealth of knowledge on cloud backups:

Twinfolder
Backify
Ubersync

What's your association with Nitrobackup.com? He could give you some ideas as he's run many of those types of sites.. oh wait.

I don't know a Tarin Gill and NitroBackup has been around since 2011, don't need anyone's help.

The anger is directed at people who have no reason to complain about anyone because they didn't get scammed, they didn't lose any money, if you lost money you have every right to whine on for 200 pages if it makes you feel better, but it won't change anything.
By the way this section of the website is for discussing companies that have created custom ASIC products, Terrahash doesn't qualify and for that reason you should start a thread (like others have for Avalon, BFL etc) in the correct section of the site.

You don't see me going on and on and on about Bernie Madoff and the millions he scammed people out of, know why? Because he didn't scam me.

So if you lost money, please carry on........

I didn't lose any money so.......buh bye
677  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: January 15, 2014, 01:02:24 AM
The copy guy that I was referring to previously is: knightlife999 and has deleted all of his posts and as far as I can tell has deactivated/deleted his account here.

Does anybody else recall other people saying that they visited terrahash's office? I thought I did but can't find it now.

This is bullshit!

knightlife999 is still active, still running an active mining operation and I have done over $10k of business with him without any incident.
I personally vouch for his character and integrity.

And just because I am really sick of this thread and specifically hearing shit from btceic who has no standing in this discussion and hasn't lost a penny to Terrahash, anyone who wishes to go after btceic for unfounded slander or defamation I will happily foot the bill for your attorney to do so.

In my opinion BTCEIC could have had some inside information of the demise of Terrahash and I believe that is why he got his refund early? Hmmm maybe that is something you detectives may want to look into huh?

Its over, you all lost your money and unless you get an attorney you are never EVER getting it back.

Questions?

678  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: public record, case 13LA09619 won against BFL on: January 14, 2014, 05:30:01 PM
A subpoena is a document (depending on the type) that REQUIRES someone to appear in court or REQUIRES someone to produce evidence in court, if you are served with a subpoena and you don't appear you will usually be arrested and found in "contempt  of court" and usually imprisoned.

If you receive process of service telling you that you are being sued (civil) and you do not show up the plaintiff gets a default judgement.

Subpoenas are usually not used to compel a defendant to appear, they are usually used to compel a witness to appear.

So in the case you sue BFL in a civil matter they will be served at their registered place of business and they should appear, if they don't they lose.

If you bring a criminal action, like fraud, they will still be served and if they were served and don't appear they could be found guilty of that crime.

679  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: public record, case 13LA09619 won against BFL on: January 14, 2014, 01:19:26 PM
Its not a subpoena, its receiving process of service.

Which is a notice you are being sued and a notice to appear.

Subpoena requires you to testify.

A process server delivers the notice to appear to the registered address of the corporation and just like on TV they say "You have been served"

And then the process server, if needed will testify that the process was served to the appropriate location and/or the proper person and that is all the court needs. In many cases a certified letter signed for at the registered location of the corporation is also acceptable.

At this late date BFL has not a prayer to get this overturned AS LONG as the Process service was good. If the Process server delivered to the wrong address or something then they could get a hearing. However if BFLs registered address was current at the time and they served there, its open and shut case.

What happened to the "Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com" thread?

I been reading PAGES about difficulty estimates, predictions, news of trading platforms, blockchain reporting.

Can we get back on track?

As difficulty is rising and we are all sitting on our hands waiting for KNC to get off the stick and sell some more hardware its getting a bit frustrating.

The video said they would sell more, is it happening? If so when?
