How do you know theymos isn't satoshi? Notice how both of their usernames are in lowercase and feature an 'o' and an 's'. Coincidence? I think not.
Hmm that applies to hilariousandco as well. I smell something fishy here. Hilariousandco shares FOUR letters with satoshi (s, a, o and i) out of the six unique letters in his name. Hilarious is satoshi.

Trust is trust.
It just means that DevTheDev doesn't trust you. The respected members of the community trust him, and hence, we indirectly don't trust you.
I say convincing is futile now.

I buy games legally, as I am addicted to steam with its achievements and trading cards.
Pretty easy with humble bundle and other bundles.

If this vote is still active please consider adding Direct Dice. Thank you.
OP hasn't logged in back since last December. I don't think the poll is still active and I don't think OP will come back to update it. And secondly, if OP was still active, JD would've been removed from the poll.

Sadly, DirectBet has gotten big enough for my government to notice It has been blocked in my region, just like all other gambling sites. Thankfully, DirectBet doesn't have any "balance" that I would have to withdraw. It's been a nice run, thanks for all the BTC

A signature campaign isn't some sort of a right.
If you do not have high enough activity, and have not been here long enough, don't expect a signature campaign.
Do you really think an advertisement in your signature brings in profit ? If yes, then put a referral link (or multiple) in your signature.

Nitrogen and Directbet are the best two you will find. Peeps Place ranks Anonibet at the top, despite the hate and scam accusations by many. For a more unbiased ranking, from the users of Bitcointalk instead of a single individual, check https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577102.0

I couldn't disagree more about the "bits" thing. How does introducing another named unit at an arbitrary decimal point make things simpler or easier? Especially with a name like "bits" which can refer to a bunch of confusingly related topics: data storage, information, cryptography.
If you are confused by the simple idea of using "bits" as a shorthand for microBitcoins then you must be totally confounded by all the following terms (in order so as not to confuse you too much): penny, cents, nickel, dime, bit, quarter, buck, a nickel bag, a dime bag, a Jackson and a Benjamin. I am sorry if the previous sentence left you drooling on the floor in total mind numbing confusion. I honestly have no idea what a nickel bag , a dime bag , a Jackson or a Benjamin is... I find it easier to use mBTC or uBTC than Bits, as those are SI units. (easier for everyone not using the Imperial system) When discussing Bitcoin, I usually refer to amounts 0.01 BTC or more in BTC itself, everything between 0.01 mBTC (0.00001 BTC) to 10 mBTC in mBTC and anything lower in Satoshis. This is really not an up and coming problem. For the time being, 0.01 mBTC is easy enough to say and is half a cent, so Bitcoins and milli Bitcoins are enough. Talking in uBTC and Satoshis don't really make sense at the present time to me. I can understand how much they are, but 1 uBTC is lesser than a thousandth of cent, too less to need to use currently.

They want that nice quick money.
But why not just work hard for that money legitimately rather than work hard at scamming immorally someone for pittance? Scamming is always much easier then legitimate work. If not, scammer wouldn't scam.. Is it? To successful scam you have to put in usually several hours work, whether that';s building up your rep or actually closing the scam. You could spend that time better building up your account to use for legit purposes like a sig deal or other ways to make money on here. The OP was talking about big scams, for which a sig deal doesn't make much of a difference. Even with small scams, why would the scammer care ? Why spend time posting when you can just make a new account and scam again ? You cannot stop scamming by delving into the scammer's mind, just by being more careful with what you trade.

Honestly, your rates for Jr. Members and Newbies are a bit high.
I'd suggest 0.01 to 0.02 for Jr Members and 0.005 to 0.01 for Newbies, or maybe even lesser. There are a tonne of Newbies, and it is very very easy to make a Newbie account.
Secondly, it would be best to seperate Hero Members and Legendary members if you really want Legendary members to join. Legendary members have no difference in signature allowances, but it is a rank owned by a comparatively few amount of people. Having a signature on a Legendary Member would be a great bonus, so I'd suggest raising it to 0.2 BTC or something.

Is BiPolarBob selling stolen goods?
Considering the ammount the gave away and the time he is among us, I guess if the goods he sells are stolen we should already see people complaining about their steam accounts being closed and the law enforcement knocking on their doors. Not necessarily. If you're a 'good' carder or adept at this sort of fraud I imagine there are several ways you can get life out of your stolen codes. He (or anyone else) could use his own card or one he has knowingly got from someone else with the intention of charging back at a later date. Also, law enforcement probably doesn't work that fast on these cases. I have no idea who BiPolarBob is, I just used that in my example xD Don't consider this a fraud accusation of some sort.

Steam might close your account, but they need to proof you knew they came from a stolen credit card to have trouble with the law.
If it worry you, you might use an alt account to use the credit you got from BiPolarBob or anyone else.
I know that idea. What I was asking is, what if I ask BiPolarBob to redeem the credit and send me the gifts. Send me a 19.99 dollar game as a steam gift instead of a steam code for 20$ itself. He makes a new alt, buys wallet credit with a stolen CC and then gifts me the game in return for 20$ of BTC. Can I be implicated ?

|
Buying a steam wallet code can screw you over, if the seller used a stolen CC.
But can buying a steam gift implicate you in any way ? If the seller used a stolen CC, on maybe a new account, to buy a gift and give it to you ?

I sold around 0.021 BTC for 10$ paypal.
Great live chat, however the fees have put me off.
Paypal fees + the commission of 5% add up to around 12% of a 10$ purchase.
Not any fault of this site, but Paypal to Bitcoin trades are generally a bad idea, unless you desperately need it.

0.01 BTC seems like a good price.
I'll go first as soon as you can give me proof that you own the steam gift. (send me a message from a steam account that owns a portal 2 gift copy) You can send me the game once you receive the funds.

How much are you selling portal 2 and portal bundle for ?
Thanks, Jambola
P.S ( don't buy them for me yet, just doing a price check to compare prices with other sellers)

Price on portal 2 and portal bundle ? I've requested this data from another steam seller too, so I would like to compare the prices.
