661  Economy / Economics / Re: What can you buy with 0.01 cents (1 penny) ? on: June 14, 2020, 09:08:46 AM
I don't think anything could be bought for such small amount of money. At least not in my country. Perhaps in some poor countries people can actually buy something for that amount.
However, I think you can buy some very small amount of some crypto coin and in the future that might turn on as a good investment. Or as a waisted penny in case that you invested in some shitcoin.
662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Reasons Why I Prefer a Bitcoin Mobile Wallet on: June 14, 2020, 04:39:13 AM
Mobile wallets are very convenient and you have your coins always at disposal. They are easy to.use and update. Although they are not so secure as hardware wallets but definetely better than online wallets.
That is why it's good to.combine multiple wallets. Thus you protect your coins at the principle not all eggs in one basket.
Mobile wallet could definetely be one of your choices, especialy for the daily use.
663  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Affiliate Programs on: June 13, 2020, 08:48:24 PM
You can do affiliate networking for free, or you can do it while spending money, neither of them is correct while other is wrong, both of them are valid reasons and ways of approaching affiliate marketing. Just because someone spends hundreds of dollars on marketing doesn't mean someone who does it free is wrong, or just because someone can do it free doesn't mean the one spending money is wrong.

When you do it for free you do not spend anything but you also have to either work harder for it, or smarter for it and sometimes you do not get that many people in return as well, you still spent something which is your time but if you do not work too much, you do not spend any money and you still get a lot of people that is very lucky and successful for you, whereas someone who spends money could get affiliates right away very quickly, sometimes make a lot of money in return if they are lucky or maybe not get much at all if they are unlucky.

As you can see both methods could make you money or could cause you to not get anything, equally possible for both options.

Exactly, just because of the option that is equaly possible to get something or nothing, people usually choose the easier way. Why would they work and they hard if they don't need to? Who actually cares if people are happy with the service and if they'll get back?
It's very similar with affiliate programs, they are not usualy designed that anyone have some big advantage of it, except for owners. I.don't really know anyone who managed to get real use of it so I don't bother with affiliate programs.
664  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $150K and Ether to $9K on: June 13, 2020, 07:36:11 PM
Very optimistic predictions but not realistic if you ask me. Sometimes it seems that people think how Bitcoin price will really go to the value they want only if they want that hard enough.
Bitcoin is still under 10000$ and it seems that barrier is hard to cross so from the current position 15000$ doesn't look very likely as well as 9000$ for ETH.
665  Economy / Speculation / Re: We will likely see a sharp increase then decrease in price on: June 12, 2020, 10:39:51 PM
I can see the long and the increase but I do not see the decrease after that. I have been around in crypto for a long time now and I know that almost every single long and increase eventually leads to decrease so I think you could be potentially right. But that doesn't change the fact that I do not see it this time around. Maybe it could fall, maybe you are right.

I just feel like the increase could be a bit quicker and a bit sudden to just suddenly start dropping right after. Instead of slowly going up, I can see it going to $12k levels very quickly in a week or so, and after that crash in a day to something like just under $9k. That is at least what I can read from the current charts and how the crypto world is going, but of course I could be very wrong as well.

Recently we've already seen quite sudden rise and sudden fall after that. It wouldn't be a surprise.
Even if the price goes up I don't think it will go all the way to 12000$. Resistance at 10000$ is very high.and even if the price breaks it the question is if it will nanage to stay there and rise further. I don't think so, it doesn't seem very likely to me. Probably another fall.would happen.soon after the rise, if it even happens.
To my opinion price will continue to fluctuate in.current range and there will be no significant changes until the end of the yea, at least not those who would last longer.
666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safe with bitcoin? on: June 12, 2020, 08:56:51 PM
I hope that buying online through internet by bitcoin becomes available and popular in all countries, because it is a safer way than going to the stores and touching the money circulating among people .. But unfortunately, there was not enough awareness about the importance of digital currencies in many countries, in my country I do not find anyone who deals with it even though it is much better than my country currency which collapses dramatically.

That is not likely to happen, we are still very far from mass adoprion. According to some statistics very small number of people is familiar with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and is using it.
Yes, people are more and more oriented to online services and cashless payments but they still use mainly fiat money, just in forms of credit cards and similar. Cryptocurrencies will not replace fiat but under their influence fiat might transforne to some more digital shape.
667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Again, another renowned exchange went offline... on: June 12, 2020, 01:41:14 PM
Coinbase is a shop and they can close at them moment they want. Bitcoin is not an essential commodity nor Coinbase has total monopoly over bitcoin fiat trading. Whatever maybe the reason for sudden maintenance whenever the price moves sharply, traders if hurt by this, should punish Coinbase by not using them.

The problem isn't primarily that exchange goes offline,   it's about  that happens  when no one expects it. Why don’t they warn traders in advance like shops do when their spots  are full of customers. That would avoid any undesirable speculation on the reasons of the sudden shutdown, and so, beyond the worry, such actions leave nothing behind.

That just shows that many exchanges just don't do their business like they suppose to and they don't respect their clients, simply lack of fair and honest businesses code. And that always leaves some space for rumors and ideas of something fishy.
They should be open and trasparent and announce such activities and not act suddenly and without clear explanation. People should know that they are reliable and legit.
668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your recommended ways of gambling. on: June 12, 2020, 12:09:09 PM
The best way it's to choose something you know and like. So, if.you like some sport choose sport betting. If you are good i stategic things choose poker. In any case something that goes along with your character and interests.
Gambling at first should be fun, don't chase the money at any price that often leads to the dark side. Plan in advance funds you can spend on.gambling and try not to go over that line.
669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why don't we literally send Bitcoin to the moon? on: June 12, 2020, 07:49:38 AM
This can be the most expensive advertisement of all time and as we can see, no companies yet thinks the same thing to advertise on a racket lunch. First, its expensive that no one will pay for this and second once Bitcoin is already outside the Earth people will start to forget about this advertisement. Social media, news, and movies might be more realistic to advertise bitcoin, there’s a lot more way to advertise at a very affordable price.

It's only that is expensive but what would exact outcome it can't be known. Who would invest such large amount of money not knowing what would be result, if any? That makes no sense.
It's true that we need some serious advertising and promotion for Bitcoin but I don't think that rocket is the adequate solution for that.
670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Moving large sum of bitcoin on: June 11, 2020, 08:18:19 PM
Some people have a serious fetish of what others do with their coins.
How should we call this, coinvoyeurism?  Grin Grin

Remember what BTC is about?
Your coins, your property, you are free to do whatever you want with them, there is no bank limiting how much you can transfer, no maximum amount per purchase, no broker limiting your sell orders, no fixed hour when exchange close for the day, if you own your coins you're free to do whatever you want with them and it's nobody else's business!

A lot of people talk about privacy, about hiding how many coins you have and not telling anybody about them but when a transfer like that happens...who is that, who is that, let's find out!!! Leave no stone unturned till we expose this guy or company.

Besides, if you count all the tx at whalealerts you're already way past 21 million coins, probably close to 21 trillion!

Yeah, people are always curious about other peoples'l lives, it's more interesting than their own. Similar is with coins, they always want to know how much one has, what he does with that coins, why etc. And of course they want to share this with everyone, although I can't understand what is the use of it.
And they they wonder why Satoshi hasn't revealed his true identity. When you see all.this it's very clear why and it's very smart to stay hidden.
671  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial Crisis Will Come on: June 11, 2020, 07:17:27 PM
New global crisis has been announced even before the COVID -19 pandemic. I think it would have happened this way or the other and because of pandemic it will probably be even worse, it will last longer and spread through more countries then in some "normal" conditions.
Unfortunately, I don't think there is anything we can do to stop this, we can only try to be prepared as good as we can to handle it easier.
Although at the moment I don't think that anyone can tell how serious actually this crisis is going to be and is it world going to be completely changed after it.
672  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade and make a profit in a Volatile market on: June 11, 2020, 04:41:28 PM
if the market is volatile I think playing futures trading is very promising,
because profits can be more than 100% in one play, but the risk is great  Grin
To me trade is a skill that can do well in any circumstance but that's only if it is performed by a skilled trader.
So it makes no sense to go in, especially in a volatile market to try and earn some profit when you can't even handle trading without the market volatility.

Having said this, there isn't a good or bad time for trading but rather a perspective of how confident and how skilled you are in relation to the market changes.

This is why it's advised not to enter a market with great uncertainty even if the reward is higher but better still make a calculated risk based on your own situation.
You just said what I thought! It's right to say that there is no good or bad time to trade. It's all about your confident and skills. When you have enough knowledge, skills, confidences and you believe in your trading skills. You gonna earn profit no matter which situation the market is in!

Of course there is no good or bad time for trading. Yes, therr might be more or less favourable conditions in the market but waiting.for perfect time, that it's hard to even define, makes no sense. Then it's better not to deal with trading at all.
Market is always volatile and hard to predict that is why it's up to trader and his skills, knowledge and risk management abilities to take best of it and make profit. Of course, sometimes you will need to face the losses too but that is part of the game.
673  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft releases Bitcoin-based ID tool. on: June 11, 2020, 02:55:05 PM
I don't think that the point here is about Bitcoin but about blockchain. And that is not surprise, many industries are implementing blockchain technology for different purposes. The thing is that many still mix blockchain and Bitcoin but use of blockchain doesn't necessary mean the use of Bitcoin and that is the case with Microsoft too.
So, I don't think this news is something surprising.
674  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID-19 Impact on the Indian Economy on: June 11, 2020, 12:04:22 PM
COVD pandemic left consequences on world economies in general but poor and underdeveloped countries are especialy affected.
Unfortunately, India is among them and many people there  found themselves in extreme hard conditions.
It's a country that even before that had big problem with hungry people and I saw in the news that after pandemic about extra 2 million people might suffer from starvation. That are huge, terrible numbers and I don't see how countries like India could solve that problem.without external help.
675  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin cannot be banned on: June 11, 2020, 10:35:10 AM
By its nature Bitcoin is hard to ban. It's not part of any system, no regulatory body, it's independent and decentralized. To use it you basicly need only internet acess.
However, some governments may bring certain regulation that use of Bitcoin is illegal or prohibited but users will always find the way. Besides, I don't think there is any general intention to ban Bitcoin, just the opposite, ecept maybe in some countries that don't respect freedom, free economy and human rights.
676  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Currency Value Falls During Recession? on: June 10, 2020, 08:50:48 PM
There is no general reply, that depends on.each currency, how strong it is and what is the shape of economy that is tied too, how much resilient it is. It's more likely to happen in poor, underdeveloped countries but every currency can fall, depending on circumstances.
Also, it depends how deep the crisis is and what each government and central bank do to protect their currency. So it's not an easy answer.
677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What type of gambling do you want? on: June 10, 2020, 07:53:40 PM
Ok, there are definitely a clear picture forming now.... Dice and Sports betting are clearly a crowd favorite now. I am not too amazed about the the Sports betting, but the Dice vote gets me... why are Dice games so popular? A lot of people say it is because it is so easy to play, but I think a lot of people can play this at home without the need for some specialized piece of code or software.

The difference in votes between Dice and Sports betting and the rest of the games just shows us how popular it is. So what did we learn from this? If you want to start a gambling site, you have to add Dice and Sports betting to be successful.  Wink

People usually like things that are fun, easy and not too much demanding. That explains why dice and sport bettings are so popular. Many gambliers also like and follow some sports so it's logical to connect these two.
So, yes, if someone wants to have gambling site for masses to put it so then to offer dice and sport betting is a good choice.
678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: June 10, 2020, 03:53:59 PM
Well, at this moment is still too early to.say if this is the end of pandemic era or just a pause.
Many experts say this was just a first part
Anyway, life needs to continue and people need to work. That includes casinos too and we can't be locked in our homes forever.
Also, even if second wave appears I.don't think that another global lockdown is adequate solution, that might be really the end of the world as we know it.
So, I'm for casinos to be open and gamblers should act responsible.
679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My top five favorite poker movie scenes... on: June 10, 2020, 09:30:12 AM
It's not easy to find movies about poker, there are several movies that have poker scenes that make me memorable after watching it.
Like Maverick (1994), Casino Royale (2006), Rounders (1998), Lucky You (2007) and 21 (2008). That's the title of the movie of my choice,
maybe there are some more good ones. But I forgot the title, I'll post it again later if I remember it.

Casino Royale is my favorite. Yes, you're right it's not easy to find movies that have gambling theme, at least in a sequence, but to my opinion Casino Royal is really tempting and does it really good although it's not the main theme of the movie.
Lucky You would be my second choice.
680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CoCa Cola now Accept bitcoin on Australia and New Zealand. on: June 10, 2020, 06:57:39 AM
No, bitcoin holders are not that stupid to spend their precious BTC just to buy Coke in a vending machine. And they are trying to promote "Sylo - Smart Wallet & Messenger" - available in Google Play https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.sylo.dapp&hl=en. But just look at the reviews. Hmm...

Bitcoin is not used only by holders and the point of Bitcoin is not just holding it indefinetely in some wallet.
Spending Bitcoins is not stupid. It's only up to every user to decide what is for him worth spending Bitcoin for, is this a Coke from the maschine, new computer or something else, it's actually not relevant.
Anyway, every promotion is good for Bitcoin although I don't think it's crucial  for better adoption, that is far more complex question.
