661  Economy / Gambling / Re: JupiterRising.xyz | MASSIVE Amount of Games!! on: December 31, 2022, 08:08:41 PM
~snip~
All Games Work, if you do find any bugs please report them to me through email or SMS.
^Welcome to the forum and also the gambling community.
I did not check yet all games on your website to find this bug but I think it would be good if there are a few people here who will find the bugs if you will reward them. Just like what recently happened here before, a casino gambler owner runs a bug-hunting campaign on their site and has a reward, on this way I think it is very effective to know more bugs in your system.
Good luck with your gambling casino, let us hope that you have a business here for the marketing ads.
662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling For Fun - What Does This Mean To You? on: December 31, 2022, 07:34:00 PM
So over to you now, what does gambling for fun mean to you as a gambler,? As I know that this phrase might mean different things for different people, would like to know what your understanding is on this.

I do not want to repeat what I replied to your post yesterday about the same topic in other thread as I agreed with your understanding about what is gambling for fun.
Other things that I want to add is that gambling for fun means:
- we wont be affected negatively no matter what would be the result or our gambling.
- we wont force ourselves to recover when we are on losing moment
- we cant start and stop as we wish in the right time
^There are too many of them and your idea was definitely right.
Gambling for fun especially when you feel bored and you gamble, considering that is for fun. Another factor could be, you gamble because you have free time, or even it could release your stress after your work. But we cannot blame people who are gambling as a way of their living, probably they know already the possible worst outcome but they continue because they love to gamble and they have expertise in it. Each of us has different insights towards gambling and we respect of what their decisions, as long as we know that gambling is for fun.
663  Economy / Gambling / Re: Coinballer - An open-source multi-player Bitcoin gambling game. on: December 31, 2022, 07:17:58 PM
~snip~
The player who has contributed the most money to the pot at the end of the game wins the whole pot, minus a 2% fee for the host.

In the case of tie, funds are distributed equally and any fractional remainder is left with the host.
^ Hey Jack Murray, it would be nice if there is a top 5 winners, it is very hard to compete in only one position and it is unfair to the small-scale players like me that only spend an amount that we can afford. However, even though it is open source but I agree with the above said that it should be on a smart contract that player only connect their wallet via API, they still have control over their wallet. Overall, your concept is good for those gamblers who care about their privacy. If you will succeed here and become a fully well-established gambling casino, for sure you are the first gambling casino that has that kind of feature here. If you are serious about this you can make an ANN thread here.
664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Interesting events in 2022 on the crypto market on: December 31, 2022, 05:48:17 PM
~snip~
What event do you think has the most impact on the cryptocurrency market in 2022?
^I think these 3 series of events, are the FTX bankruptcy or collapse, the Binance FUD, and the withdrawal of all funds in CEXs.
What next is possible? There are too many events that quickly change the market condition which means there are too many weak hands in the market pretending real investors. People are easily getting FUD and panic, but at least with these events people learned from their mistakes and have an awareness of how to protect their assets. Now people learned what is noncustodial wallets.
665  Other / Meta / Re: What one change would you like to see in bitcointalk in 2023 on: December 31, 2022, 05:07:02 PM
~snip~
My answer is that I am happy with the current bitcointalk forum and no changes are required.
^The recent change that I noticed is that there is an (OP) text next to the profile name who opened a post thread. But when it comes to software? Make it simple and the forum is fine with the current software. I agree with a few comments above, the forum is fine with the current setup if there are software changes, that would be on the new forum website, the Epochtalk.
Forum Rules may apply and we all know fighting spammers and scammers are the most priority among us here in the forum.
As of now, Bitcointalk is fine, the merit system works fine and it is very effective, additional improvements could be us, or those who are actively reporting posts, we are thankful to the top reporters who deserve to have badges under their profiles.
666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where is your bitcoin balance at the end of the year? on: December 30, 2022, 11:21:17 PM
Bitcoin is about to end this year's journey through several hostile markets.  Many have invested in Bitcoin this year and many have sold Bitcoin.  Anyway, who has a balance at the end of the year?  My balance is in this range (0.01-0.1) and there are 5438179 total addresses in this range.  What number position is your wallet in?
Screenshot from: https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-bitcoin-addresses.html
To be frankly speaking,  i'm not too proud of my current Bitcoin balance right now, due to the fact that I have equally spent far beyond what I budgeted for the entire Christmas and New year celebration in just within this few days with friends and family members. And do you know the funniest thing? The year hasn't even end.
But moreover, its better to enjoy quality time with family and friends in good health of mind and body when you can, than spending it on a hospital bills.

Same here, aside from that I am more invested in altcoins taking chance to get a profit and buy more Bitcoin at the end.  At the current bear market, I feel (probably I am wrong) that some altcoins will grow much more than Bitcoin growth so investing my Bitcoin to altcoin and selling my altcoin (when it peaks) to buy more Bitcoin is currently my strategy.
^ I hope too that you are in the right decision but which is not right for me.
Choosing potential altcoins is quite a very tricky part because if you don't know how to choose it, it could be you will follow hypes which is the reason you invested, not the real potential of the coins. Just stick to the BTC accumulation and hold it for a long period of time, if you trust this coin, there is no fear to hold for a long term and wait for the desired profit. However, I cannot blame you for that because that is decision, you must be careful on altcoins investment.

667  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding could be better on: December 30, 2022, 11:14:45 PM
Some investors fear the current market situation and looking down on Bitcoin because of its current price not realizing that it's already time to accumulate more of it and hold until the market recovers again. Holding would really be the best thing to do during this msrket season. It's hard to risk on day trading without enough knowledge because it's a broad and complex thing. If you want to make a good profit without dealing with too much risks, holding will be a wise move.
^It is very simple, just hold and wait for the profit was there but the fact that many people now did not have the patience to wait, they wanted to gain profit in a short period of time or a quick profit, that is why they gamble investing on altcoins or doing trading even though they don't have experience and skills. The purpose of BTC to become a digital currency will probably change to a store value, because people see it as a potential of using to store value than using as a digital currency and as a means of payment.
668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you have 1 bitcoin? on: December 30, 2022, 11:02:51 PM
Hello friends
Do you currently have at least 1 bitcoin?
~snip~

Faith, hope, unemotional analytics or the ability to see the future? Cheesy
Please, answer only those who really own at least 1 bitcoin
Thank you
^ It is hard to accumulate 1 BTC now because it is very expensive, if you have, you are not a regular investor because you have that large sum in your wallet. I have under 1 BTC, a small amount that only I can afford to hold, I did not easily get panic because I know already the market sentiment and the market movement. I have been here in the crypto market for how many years so now I fully understand if there is a market crash and learned how to hold my asset while the market was in a bad situation. BTC has a smaller fraction than you want, there is no need to have a whole number because that is very expensive, you can even own a worth of $5 in your wallet.
669  Economy / Gambling / Re: Researching for Upcoming Game on: December 30, 2022, 10:51:56 PM
I have come across a gambler asking for reviews on a particular casino which he himself had no idea about, here now he wanted the members to give him their own idea whereas they aren't the ones interested in using the newly launched casino, so this spark many reactions as we all advise for him to give it a try from his end before he can receive any additional review from others, i know it's not easy like that as when dealing with a new casino but things must follow due procedures and not shortcuts, there's nothing bad in trying out the new ones and the kinds of games they serve gamblers maybe it could really be something worth going for.
It is possible to try new casinos, but before doing so, one has to read the ratings made by people. And usually, casinos that have just been launched here will get members' attention, including those who will then try to see what is in the casino. After giving the new casino a try, they will post a rating here so others can take a look and maybe give it a try too. But during that trial period, we must remain careful because not all new casinos will be what we expect, and some casinos turn out to be scams. This makes us have to be careful in looking for information that can support us before we try these new casinos.

I got your point here and in addition to that, i will only suggest gamblers not to by all means go with public opinions in some certain stage whereby they will need to experience that idea by themselves because the internet is full of garbage in garbage out informations except for a forum like this that has reliable ratings and reviews from its members about a particular casino, so I will not encourage closed source informations about a newly launched or an existing casinos but an open source which also determines with the level of how the research is being conducted to a certain extent on trust.
^I would rather believe the review that comes from a community like this than the review of a review casino that is made only by the author or a review casino. A review that comes from a community like this forum is a good source in searching the honest and reliable reviews because that comes from a single player who has to give a point of view through their experience. However, if we are looking for a reliable source, we should not look after in one source, it could be a multiple sources so that you can compare them which is not giving an accurate report.
670  Economy / Gambling / Re: Consider open live casino (street gambling games) on: December 30, 2022, 10:32:10 PM
maybe in a free country I think playing directly gambling on the streets looks interesting too but it doesn't apply to countries that prohibit gambling of course it's not worth doing, by the way isn't open direct street gambling going to open up opportunities for crime from foreigners around you , because it looks like that is the problem even people might be more comfortable playing casino with their mobile phones with gambling sites compared to street gambling directly open
Gambling in streets could easily attract gamblers at all ages since it’s an open live casino, but yes it will never be allowed for those countries who are not gambling friendly. And the crime rate could be higher too since it gives freedom for all scammers and criminals to easily roam around and look for their new target. That is obviously the reason why this kind of casino is not allowed to happen as there could be a lot crimes and scandals that will surely take place.
^ That is possible and you are right but what do you think if that casino in street is supported by the government and has a government authority protecting it? The number one reason for increasing crimes could be there is no regulation or unprotected by the government because scammers will not afraid of their motive because there is no authority watching the casino. But if they have a license and are regulated, why not? They also need to gain the trust of the users because probably one of them will easily abandon the casino which is risky to leave money.
671  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It Is Possible To Invest In Crypto Currency Without Buying Any Coins. on: December 29, 2022, 10:40:44 PM
~snip~

Are there any other methods you know, that one can buy/invest in crypto from without using a regular exchange or trader?

^If you have a business then, yes.
You can accept BTC as a payment in your merchant in exchange for the product that you have sold, for example, a coffee shop or a grocery store that accepts BTC. Without investment, could be yes, but there is an exchange that considers investment as well.
As the link says, buying ETF seems like you are buying coins but not directly in crypto, but I don't understand this thing, is that ETF safe for saving your fund to the asset that you don't have full control of? Considering all fo this is a very high-risk decision.
672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Attributing wins or loses during gambling/betting to Ego or Simply Intuition. on: December 29, 2022, 10:19:50 PM
~snip~
In trying to relate this to gambling/betting, am more or less interested in, how does your feeling/emotions affect your wins or losses when making a bet or during gambling?

Do you care to know if the bet made was attributed to your feelings of ego or you simply followed your intuition?
^I tried this once when I gambled while I am problematic, and it is not working for me the luck is on my side, I stopped because I have consistent losses at that time which becomes very frustrating instead of having fun. If you have this feeling, it is better to find another way to cure them, not gambling because it becomes worst when you cannot concentrate on playing. I prefer to have a cold beer in my hand while analyzing my problem or thinking over my problem than gambling, dealing with our ego while gambling is not a healthy option. It will create terrible mistakes.
Just go outside and find a girl that makes you happy and when you are bad feelings will heal, then back to gambling.
673  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Casino Android software on: December 29, 2022, 09:55:30 PM
Sportsbet have android app software that works great, but I like more using desktop version on bigger screen.
Mobile apps are great if you want to make bets on the road or when you are not home, but be careful what you are doing in public.

Using the desktop version is a relief because the eyes can work optimally and not get tired quickly. People also like to use the desktop version and the mobile or app version when they are out of the house. But it's better not to play gambling in public to avoid things we don't want because we don't know whether we will be safe from being targeted by crime or whether someone is stalking us to seize our cellphones.
^Though we cannot deny that using a PC to gamble is quite good than using a mobile but I still prefer using a mobile to gamble, especially when I am outside like taking a break from work or after lunch while taking a break. However, we can both depend on where we are, no matter in the android app or the website, as long as you enjoyed the game, then it is fine with me. Gambling is just entertainment that makes you happy when you feel bored or if you want a stress reliever, as long as you are not chasing losing or money on it, you will be fine.
674  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Profitable and Growing Casino Website for Sale on: December 29, 2022, 09:46:54 PM
It is not impossible to happen that a profitable casino website will be up in the market by the owner to sell it. Although, even with initial impression and common sense, one would ask why the owner would want to sell something like that. As per the OP, change of plans and priorities had become the main reason. Some will be convinced and intrigued, but some won’t buy such sentiments. Regardless, if someone dares to think of buying such, second thoughts must happen for the purpose of clearing out every possible risk and questionable angle in such intuition. After all, the amount being asked is thought as impartial to the value that the website would be giving back to the buyer, at least for a long time.
it is possible that the owner of a profitable casino site wants to sell it with the aim of making quick and instant money, even though selling the site makes no sense and there are not necessarily any buyers.
after all, at this time more and more people will do rather strange things to be able to make money quickly, although there are also those who make fun of it and don't believe they still don't care.

It is perfectly possible, because some people are serial entrepreneurs and create business after business and then sell to others that are specialised in making the company or the site grow to full size and implement a more mature business model. It is said that there are many reasons for selling, but only one for buying.

But regardless, it is quite a challenge to verify the claim of profitability without investing serious time and effort into it.
Making out verifications out of those claims would be the the biggest challenge if you are tending to buy such site where there's no way that you could really verify for yourself because we know that numbers and

inputs could really be faked out or something we do call a financial statement or history or records which is something that we cant trust up.We are talking huge money on here and if its done through online
then i highly doubt that no one would really gamble out on buying something without having that face to face transaction or something in correlated to this.
It is really just hard to believe on selling out a profitable casino if you do know that you could make it even more bigger and make more money.
^This means that no one risking their money on the ready-to-made casino but I think not unless you are a good developer too that you can able to check first on your own. That is why casino owners did not want to buy a ready-made gambling casino because the potential of scams ios very high, they prefer to find a great developer that can build a casino from scratch into a successful gambling casino. The fear of getting scammed or having trouble in the future will push them not to buy a casino like this.
However, I dont know what happen to the OP about his gambling casino and I want to know an update on him and his selling casino.

675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the motives that drive you to gamble? on: December 29, 2022, 09:28:30 PM
I simply believe that rolling dices is entertaining.
...

Spinning slots (and buying bonus rounds) is also entertaining, just a bit more (or a lot) expensive. Playing poker is interesting in more than one way, except the gambling part there are those emotions about outsmarting other players. Sports betting, at least for us who played some sports, comes like something natural thing, we simply enjoy watching some games and following our favorite teams.

I guess it's good when it's entertainment, when becomes more than that it's usually heading to some serious problems.
^Usually following your favorite team drives you to gamble because you are hoping that they will win and that is why you will place a bet aiming with the same wish. Some people are just for entertainment purposes but few of those people are looking to gain profit and have money and that is why they gamble. Avoid the thing that your motive in gambling chasing your lose money because that is not good ever, it could be losing your entire fund if you will follow your emotion. I don't want gambling becomes a serious problem in the future if you can able to manage yourself in gambling, gambling is not bad but instead, it will also give you a benefits.
676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Responsible gambling on: December 28, 2022, 10:53:15 PM
I know about it and I don't think that I need it because I've never felt the drive to get back right away, or maybe never felt it to be strong enough to deposit again after a loss.
I usually have very little money to gamble and I try to divide it so that I can kill some time playing. Say I play poker and I know I only have $100 on my account. I'll try to bet low and if I come close to running out of money, I'll prepare myself mentally for that loss and think about the things I'll do when it happens. For me it's never a way to get rich. I don't try to save up for something and I don't bet money I cannot afford to lose. Most of my bets, e.g. sports, are so low that it doesn't really matter if I win or lose. A win will boost my confidence, make me feel good throughout a day, but if I lose it's not a problem. No boost, on that day, but no feeling down either.
That is definitely a good attitude towards gambling, and I’m also doing the same thing that’s why this responsible gambling feature is no need at all. I am just an occasional gambler so I have less worries when it comes to gambling losses. And when I gamble, I usually set first enough amount to gamble so that if ever I screw them all, that won’t certainly affect me. Gambling is only meant to entertain us, and that’s why I only gamble just for fun, not typically to earn serious amonunt.
^Definitely right and that's very well said.
Just gamble for fun not serious about the amount that you will earn because gambling is meant for fun not for chasing money. People are gamble to make this opportunity for their living which is not an ideal way to treat gambling. That is why I realized that we are very lucky here in the forum as a community because we are well-oriented and have more awareness of the possible problem that we encounter in the future. We know how to manage ourselves, discipline, and put limits on gambling.

-cut-
They offer x50 times your initial bet
Have fun.
Where's that? I didn't see anything like that in the rules. And there's no way in earth i would connect my wallet to some random sites looking like they didn't even bother to design it. There's no sign of them having any kind of bankroll, nor i can't read the rules. This has scam written all over it and anyone linking their wallets to it can blame themselves of getting their wallets drained.
^All I see is a poor UI casino.
Be careful about linking our metamask wallet to an unknown site, it could be stealing our funds. I would rather wait for the known and reputable gambling casino for their web3 launch which I think it is safer than this. This is a pure free ad that OP wanted, it is not even making an announcement thread for this instead for the formal presentation. A possible reason OP created this thread is that Op was affiliated.
678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the motives that drive you to gamble? on: December 28, 2022, 09:59:07 PM
I gamble just to fill my free time, I'm not really an addict, I prefer soccer betting than playing casinos because besides the benefits it's not as big as playing casinos that rely on luck I also look for safety in gambling, what drives me to gamble is looking for extra money for my needs my life
^This is why I gamble, to kill time when I am bored and it is a stress reliever for me after the whole day's work.
Gambling should be for fun, nothing else, because if you treat gambling as a source of income, making money for your needs, that is not right because your greediness will be triggered, and becomes addicted soon. It would help if you had control of this in yourself in the first place because this is a very important thing to remember. So it means gambling is when you need to spend time while having fun, the last option could be the profit that you can get but this is not a necessary thing.
679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is to blame on: December 24, 2022, 09:59:09 PM
Is the requirement of KYC from online casino the reason that gives birth to online casino getting regulated? I mean in the past there is no regulation thing pointed to online casino but now all eye are on them for a must regulation if they want to keep their platform alive and functioning.
^Because it is government's required.
As we know the government combating cyber crimes fraud or any money laundering, was their mission to stop cybercriminals.
No one to blame here, it is just preventing to happen a possible fraud that could exploit someday. As I can see, most of all financial institution has been regulated by the government, not on gambling but also by those exchanges. KYC helps to reduce cybercrime and I think its a way to help those who are the victim of those crimes so I think that is normal now that there is a KYC procedure.
680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free crypto possible ? Or impossible? on: December 24, 2022, 09:46:36 PM
So IS there any sure way to get some Free airdrops instant please dont suggest those here who might pay maybe not Im Looking for sure deals.
Most of the bounty today requires a little action before you qualified for the airdrop and you have to be more active so you can have the chance of getting more airdrop. There’s no instant free money here, good bounties always take time and requires a lot of work, if you want to get some the try to visit bounty section you can see a lot of campaign there and promotions, you might find a good one.
^Airdrop and faucets now are totally wasting of time and I don't think they are reliable for micro earning.
Not like before as I remember back in 2017, an airdrop is very profitable when it will be listed on an exchange but as of now, it changed, and usually they become scams or do such shady activity. It is better not to continue what you are planning now because you are just wasting your time, instead, look and find a way how to work with crypto and earn it. However, you can still earn but not decent if you are willing to exchange your time for a small amount of BTC that you will get. I rather work as a freelancer than do that, there are too many how to work and earn crypto via your skills and knowledge.
