661  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: YOBIT exchange scamming peoples in EGOLD ICO and steal a lot of investors BTC's on: June 08, 2019, 08:11:23 PM
hu guys
like u see in the chart EGOLD ICO drop from 20 sat to 4 sat in less then 6 hours
YOBIT exchange scam a lot of peoples in their new ICO "EGOLD" peoples
bought this ICO at 10 sat and they sold it at 4 - 6 satoshi because of
yobit scam YOBIT devs steal investors real BTC for a fake coin
Obliviously YoBit is well known for bad reputation, a lot of people have been complain about how it has high withdraw fees and some having their accounts closed and others having their withdraws stuck, and with all of this bad talk about it, people still fall for it and invest in its coin and expect it to go well,  all i can say is that its their fault for even beveling  in it and they deserve it because  they probably haven't made their research right and just probably following someone who is advertising them.
662  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Fueling the Gig Economy on: June 08, 2019, 08:03:04 PM
As a freelancer who lives in a third world country i can confirm that bitcoin is probably the best option for anyone like me, since payment methods are limited to where i live i have looked for years about ways to provide my services as a freelancer but the only easy and convenient way i found is cryptocurrency and more specifically bitcoin, and with it becoming more and more popular among the gig due to the fact that it is more profitable to work and get paid in bitcoin which its value goes up rather than jut getting paid with fiat, i ma sure that freelancing for fiat will no longer exist in the future.
663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apocalyptic Scenario - What happens to Bitcoin? on: June 08, 2019, 07:53:52 PM
What happens to the value of bitcoin in an apocalyptic scenario? Eg, if the world starts getting hit with electromagnetic pulses which knock out power, or let's say the report that came out a few days ago is true, that civilization as we know it deteriorates by 2050 due to mass migration from climate change.

Many claim that bitcoin will be worthless and gold, guns, and ammunition will be very valuable. On the other hand it has been claimed that bitcoin requires very little infrastructure and would work much better than other things. If bitcoin is truly a store of value, then it should store value especially in unfavorable circumstances.
When such thing happen, there will be not time to think about bitcoin, everyone will be thinking about survival and think of every possible way to keep himself and the people around them safe, and no one will have time or the means to look at bitcoin, but assuming that some people will still have access to the internet will see that bitcoin will have no value because there is 0 demand and if there is no demand the value will just go down and bitcoin will no longer exists.
664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do u think about BNB? Worth to buy? on: June 08, 2019, 07:38:44 PM
BNB has been doing well only for one reason and that is because the binance popularity as a big exchange, that is the most iconic and traders are fond of it because it has lowest fees, and since its launch BNB started doing well even better than most of the coins that have launched several years ago, altigh that BNB has no other use outside of the binance exchange it is still good investment and a good way to make profit because it will be here and will still go as long as the exchange stands.
665  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you get your daily overview of the market?? on: June 08, 2019, 07:26:04 PM
The daily routine that i have developed in order to make a decision or a prediction about the next movement, is i take a look at the charts of the main coins like BTC/ETH and making a technical analysis based on trade volumes price movements and than i take a look at the news and see what are the recent factors that have influenced these price changes like companies involved with crypto regulation, and than i make it a habit to look through different forums and take a look at topics and comments to see what other people think and what they are doing.
666  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin believers/investors are foolish or low IQ people ? on: June 08, 2019, 07:05:22 PM
Few months back when I was reading this forum, somebody said Bitcoin investors and supporters just think of Bitcoin $5000 or $10,000 or $40,000. They do not know anything.

$1 to $5000 in 10 years and Bitcoin people still say Bitcoin is an investment and not super-HYIP or ponzi.

My website: https://dangerousmother.com (for real world out there)

Talks of Bitcoin as global currency and Bitcoin taking over Gold and Silver.

Just like billionaire Warren Buffet who keeps saying buy Apple inc. shares and other shares and thereby pushing DOW Jones to 25000 with the help of financial cartel because people are too foolish and they believe in $1000 to $10,000 in 12 years.
You can't blame or categorize all of the bitcoin communityy based on what a small group of it acts or says, in our current society the ones that are dong the right thing are always hidden and don't speak and give their opinions, while the ones that are wrong are the ones who are always out there and giving wrong ideas about the community, a majority of the community is investing and doing their own thing based on their own prospective of the market and they don't go around spreading false, so this is has nothing to the IQ
667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Breaking News! Third world nation bans BTC. 10 years in jail for holding crypto on: June 07, 2019, 11:21:28 PM
There are a lot of people that are users and holder of bitcoin in India, and if this proposition passes through it won't just be bad for the Indians but it will be catastrophic, if this goes through how will they exchange all the crypto they have, I think that this is not going to be happening simply because the government does not have the ability to track the people that posses cryptos, they can monitor ips that go popular crypto sites but people can just use VPN, and 10 years is a lot for possessing crypto it is hire than possessing and dealing drugs, all of this seems dumb.
668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Between ICO and IEO on: June 07, 2019, 10:52:19 PM
The problem with ICOs is that the market gas been flooded with so many coins and most of them are scams, so it makes that the ones that are legit and actually tying to do good get rooted out and die out, with IEO it makes it easier for the ones that are serious to be out there and get noticed by the ones that are interested in investing them, ii really think that ICOs are just a thing in the past and just a matter of time it will get replaced by IEO because i give more assurance to the people investing and not just false promises and than get scammed.
669  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The similar chart of GOLD and BITCOIN on: June 07, 2019, 09:44:21 PM
Bitcoin and Gold have been always been similar to each other in a lot of ways and the charts that are provided here shows that but, it does not mean that that bitcoin will have a similar price chart to gold in the future, bitcoin is not accepted by all the countries in the world so it is unpredictable and at any time and any regulation towards it could take its price down, and on the other hand it was able to skyrocket from 6k to 20k in a couple of months and that is something that gold didn't and will never be able to do, and i am sure that a similar or better thing will happen in the future.
670  Economy / Economics / Re: What’s the SINGLE most valuable benefit for you in Bitcoin and why? on: June 07, 2019, 09:07:19 PM
If you asked me 3 years earlier i would just said for profit, which is i am sure that most of the people start of on that same note, but once you start learning more about it you start knowing the true meaning and the true purpose behind the creation of bitcoin, and you start beveling in its cause and all those benefits that you have mentioned, but the most valuable one would  be that it gives you the freedom to make transactions whenever you want and how you want.
671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be legally accepted in every country in the next 10 years? on: June 07, 2019, 08:33:43 PM
Do you think Bitcoin will be legally accepted in every country in the next 10 years? But I think that Bitcoin will be legally accepted in all the countries within the next 10 years. Not sure about the other crypto coins, but everyone has confidence in Bitcoin, so it can be said that Bitcoin will be fully validated in all countries. Bitcoin's popularity and popularity have increased day by day.
The government of many countries are now thinking about the bitcoin. That day is not far away when Bitcoin will be legally acceptable in all countries.
It is true that Bitcoin has gained a lot of popularity and a lot of users in the past couple of years, and i am sure that in the next 2 years or so it will get even bigger and a lot of companies will start accepting, but i don't know if all government in the world will ever allow it to become used because it will affect them in a bad way if a lot of people use it, because government hold control of our lives through money and if we use bitcoin than they will lose that control.
672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Switzerland - new crypto paradise in Europe? on: June 07, 2019, 07:50:07 PM
Looks like Switzerland is going to overtake Malta as the cryptocurrency bastion in Europe. Thanks to clear, simple, transparent and fair regulations, the number of exchanges which are operating there is still growing (more info here). You think this country has a chance to strongly influence the market with that approach?
Switzerland has always been the paradise for all banking/financial systems, and with crypto slowly making its way into our lives there is no surprise that this country starts welcoming them, and in fact crypto is more beneficial for those who are offshoring their money to Switzerland because it offers them more anonymity and more security, and in the future i am sure that it will have big role in the crypto rise, but the thing that i am worried about is it becoming a hub for centralization.
673  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Very frustrating on: June 07, 2019, 07:39:20 PM
Honestly the altcoin market is just full of these false promises of big thing and big changes just to get people to invest in them, and all in all they are just a big scam trying to make profit from people who are blinded by greed and does not have a real experience in this market, back in 2017 when this trend of small coins that you can make a lot of profit from them blinded a lot of people which lead to the market being flooded with coins that are scams, and by now people should know better than to follow some false promises.
674  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency, KYC and Terrorism on: June 07, 2019, 03:00:11 PM
Some have speculated that terrorists have discovered a way to use the platform crypto currency to gather identities from different people from all over the world. use their identities for terrorist activities. From threads that i have seen, there are people thinking that some ICOs are used to fund terrorist acts by luring investors into investing into their companies, getting KYC in exchange of money, gather a large sum of it and then run away with big bags of bucks.
IMO, these scenarios have big possibilities since there is the anonymity factor feature of crypto currency, we really do not have the knowledge as to whom and where the money will go for when it was transacted in cyberspace.

what are your thoughts on this?
I think that is one of the biggest problems that crypto is facing, when talking here about anonymity its a double edged sword, on when hand it gives us the possibility to hide our identity to keep us safe, but it also provides a shade for terrorist to exploit and for illegal activities, and when it comes to ICOs i definitely think that they are at a place where  they are being used for the wrong reasons and especially where the market has been flooded with so many useless coins that are only just cash grabs.
675  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Decentralize on: June 07, 2019, 01:48:20 PM
Decentralization does not only signify freedom ,but decentralization offers more security, because if you think of it is that centralized networks and centralized exchanges they are vulnerable for cyber attacks because the money flows to the same place, where decentralized networks they are based on money being distributed all over the place, so hackers find hard time to hack decentralized networks, an example of that are the couple of exchanges that got hit really hard because they were centralized.
676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving: Hype to Speculate? on: June 07, 2019, 10:55:48 AM

Next year, there will the scheduled halving of Bitcoin. For people who are still new, the term can be a little dizzy. To make it clearer:

In case you are wondering, this means that the number of Bitcoin issued per each block, mined every ten minutes, will fall from 12.5 BTC to 6.25 BTC. In other words, this reduction of 50% will cut the block reward given to miners in half and further slow the production of Bitcoin’s finite supply. Source.

So this has something to do with the supply. The rewards available for miners is effectively reduced into half...or 50% less. This can slow down the production of more bitcoin coming from the side of the miners.

And this is the reason why some analysts are predicting that after and even before the scheduled halving, bitcoin can experience a great surge or a real bull run. Do you see this as a big probability or just another hype?
Well obviously when we are talking about reducing the amount of bitcoin supply available for people to get we are talking about an increase in demand, and this demand will eventually lead to an increase of price, many speculate that this increase is going to happen prior to the halving next year, i my guess is that most investors and the ones who really think that it will surge will start to stock up on it start from the last quarter of this year which makes me think that we might see bitcoin reach its highest value yet by next year when this happens.
677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyway to block usage of stolen coins? on: June 02, 2019, 12:58:29 AM
Let`s us say that a exchange got hacked, Would there be anyway to ban those bitcoins? like blacklist the stolen coins so they cannot be used on the network? I know about going back in time with consensus of the network to a earlier block or forking and using that new chain, but could you just not ban the stolen coins?  I mean make a way to do that?
Well it is defiantly has been made before or at least said that the addresses where the the stolen bitcoin was sent to were blacklisted when the Japanese exchange Zaif  got hacked and over 60 million worth of bitcoin were sent to multiple addresses, but something tells me that the damage was already done and probably were sent to multiple address other the ones used for the hack and they just said so just to calm the media down and in reality they could not do anything about it, but who knows if it is true or not, we can't prove it.
678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin usage and misaligned expectations on: June 02, 2019, 12:03:49 AM
I believe there are some people in the community who are in the standpoint that "Bitcoin isn't successful" unless they can use it for "almost-zero fee" coffee transactions. But is it truly a failure?
I am not gonna say that Bitcoin has failed to be a micro transactions currency, but i say there is a large for improvements, maybe now it is not as noticeable since the market is still stable and there is not as much transactions in the blockchain, but back in 2017 when the the price skyrocketed people went crazy and so were the fees, and you had to pay like 10$ for 1$ transaction and if you don't your transaction would take for hours and hours to be confirmed, it did die out after the price started going down again in 2018 but who says that it won't happen again, if we really want bitcoin to thrive and be considered as a payment method like in the real world at local shops and restaurants, we need to find a solution to that.
679  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Rumors confirmed: Binance margin trading coming soon on: June 01, 2019, 11:56:11 PM
Binance has been doing really well, being one of the best exchanges out there, having one of the uprising altcoin, even after they have been hacked they are still big, i am kind of surprised that they did not have margin trading a long time ago, considering that actually there smaller exchanges who did have it, but it is good to seem them implement it even though i am not a big fan of crypto margin trading but it is good to have as an option if at some point i change my mind.
680  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is margin trading worth checking out? on: June 01, 2019, 11:17:40 PM
It is true that you might get more rewarding experience from margin trading as it allows you to increase your buying power, however it is not an easy task since we are talking here about crypto market where trading with you own money is risky enough let alone borrow money from the exchange and than return it with interest for a very small profit, what am saying here that it is not for everyone and defiantly i don't think that it goes well with the day trading strategy.
