Before Xavi was announce he want to withdraw from his current position Xavi has been says that Barcelona is deserved to gets a better manager than him but what Xavi done for Barcelona is really impressive and i still remember when Xavi first time arrived to Barcelona as the replacement of Ronald Koeman at that time Barcelona performance is really messed up moreover at Champion League Barcelona was lost with big scores 8-2 from Bayern Munich besides that Barcelona also lost Messi because they had decide to let Messi moved to PSG so Barcelona conditions at that time is not really good but gradually Xavi has successfully to solved the issues and the result is Barcelona can gets Laliga trophy last season

Xavi indeed feel dissapoint to see Barcelona current performance so that's why he decide to leave but i don't think it's entirely his fault because in the last several season Barcelona has facing financial conditions which makes Xavi unable to bought the players he wants and actually Barcelona still attempts to defending Xavi so that's why although some of names were linked to Barcelona as the candidate for next manager but Barcelona owner has been confirmed they haven't look for new manager this because Barcelona owner feel there is no guarantee new manager can bringing Barcelona to performing well so they still hopes Xavi will change his mind and still being an Barcelona manager for much longer
Xavi has been a good manager at the Spanish side, even though they've had some shaky situations, they've just found a way to cover up lapses and make necessary coverings to the loopholes. It's very much good that they were able to put in good effort regardless of what they lacked to good team building. Nonetheless, Xavi would have still done better than he's already done. Well, his days with the team are technically numbered and he's got some commendations which he definitely deserves.

I don't know what to say about his intended replacement but all I'll say is Barcelona as a team has work to be done and I'd love to see the new Barcelona in seasons and games to come.
It'll be very much important that Barcelona management tried their best to get a good replacement for Xavi and finding the best option for them would be a bit difficult. There are prospect options for them but they've got to be very careful in their choices.

Considering Emery as a choice, he's got an improved record with Villa and normally, Villa and Barcelona's level can't be compared so it's safe to say that it'd be a bit different to manage Barcelona based on their range of players and level in football. Barcelona isn't a team to be taken as an experiment. They won't be able to bear loosing their value and pride just because of them trying to make use of a manager who's not really had very much experience in a big team. Although, EPL is competitive than the La Liga, so maybe there can be a little match in strategy.

It seems that Carlo Ancelotti has prepared for this. Therefore Carlo Ancelotti did not recruit in the winter market last before and chose to recruit at the end of this season when the summer market opened, even though if Real Madrid recruited players in the transfer market in January before. Real Madrid could face match the Champions League has calmed down a bit because its strength has increased, so Real Madrid's performance can be more optimal, but I think Carlo Ancelotti doesn't recruit players because he believes in the players he has and remains strong even though he doesn't add to the squad he needs.

It would be a good thing if Real Madrid started thinking about the players they would buy to improve their performance next season, recruiting Alexander Arnold is a good choice, he is a defender with extraordinary talent, he can create assists to help attackers create goals if he is at the club Big like Real Madrid is a big advantage for him because he might taste the Champions League trophy with Real Madrid.

Liverpool is actually also a big club but after Jurgen Kloop left this season we don't know Liverpool's performance next season so Alexander Arnold's future is still a question mark, but at least he can try to join another big club in the European league so that his development increases and doesn't continue to be there in the comfort zone.
It's a player's decision if he wants to stay in a club or leave, also it depends on his contract signed with the team as well as the teams decision to either keep him or let him go. In PSG, Mbappe is one key man that they don't want to give off yet. Even though his contract is set to expire by summer, they still know he's advantageous and would want to keep him. For Mbappe, his stay in the team beyond and after the expiration of the contract seems to be dependent on his intentions as well as the teams performance in the long run.

Good thing for him that Madrid may not really be interested in him yet until summer so he's got to be a bit patient till then, then maybe, he'd be willing to join the Spanish side. Even though Liverpool were questing for him as well, i didn't think they were set to afford that amount for him during the January transfer window. Let's just anticipate summer break whilst watching his movement decision unfold. Real Madrid has even been performing at their best without a stable striker in the team, then we think of how much more they'd perform if they eventually get a striker for themselves. Left for me, they're doing just fine without a striker. They've in the team a lot of youngsters that are doing excellent in their general balling ability.

But still they just have to have for themselves a striker that'd be majored on that role of goal scoring and they won't have to be using a false forward in their games. Well before now, Mbappe was a prospect but Ancelloti has said for now he won't be making any change to his squad and he's comfortable with them. I believe they have what it takes to get the species of forward they want in the team and the team's commitment and bond would really boost their results. The same applies to Alphonso Davies. The both young players would be a good addition to the Spanish giants but we just have to wait on the coach. Since he's said summer will be his time for transfers, then let's anticipate these moves and watch how well and better it improves the team's effectiveness.
683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 23, 2024, 03:24:13 PM

I hope he won't be one of these players that are strong with decisions they make and take, otherwise all of these you're saying wouldn't be happening.
According to reports from the players side, there have been disrespect from Thomas Tuchel several occasions and he would be leaving even before Bayern Munich decided to part ways with him.

I believe he will be on his way his way to Barcelona on a free transfer since they're in a dire need of a defensive midfielder. Joshua Kimmich is versatile and a utility player in between, he could play that role if he goes to Barcelona. They've lacked that role since Sergio Busquet left for Inter Miami.
Benjamin Sesko of Leipzig and Xavi Simons are names likely to leave during the transfer window for big transfer moves. Benjamin Sesko has been linked with Manchester United and Chelsea though as for Xavi Simons, he wants to return a club capable of winning the Champions League Competition. These are also hot news from the German Bundesliga.
Every player has that one essentiality in a team and it also depends on how solidly grounded you are with the team. There are teams with a number of old time players who's been in the team for years and then have gain enough grounds and achievements for the team, then been bestowed with the deserving respect to by the team because of the confidence in his abilities. Kimmich is one man that's been with Munich and has scaled through hurdles with them. They understand his capacity and won't fail to give him the right spot in the team.

His move to a new team no doubt would bring for him exposure and a while new different environment but not forgetting that it won't be as rosy as it already is for him. There, he'd start all over with giving the right impressions and proving his worth before building a good amount of confidence to deserve fully the right spot in this new club. So not opting for any of the options, it's his decision to make but which ever way, there are advantages and disadvantages too. Barcelona seems to be offering him a more accommodative space considering the fact that he's likely the best replacement for their leaking position after Busquet exit from the club. Kimmich has the skill set needed, he's a good player and he's definitely going to be a good addition to the Spanish side.

He's been in Germany for enough number of years and considering how well his team has performed overtime in past seasons, he's got the confidence and experience for further performances else where. For me, I'd say he'll adapt fast to the switch environmental effect if any occurs. He's a versatile and confident player who knows how best and well to man his line of duty. The midfield in Barcelona will definitely experience a bit of improvement with him in the squad list. Next season looks fruitful for both the midfielder and the Spanish side but we just can't predict how it'll all be throughout the time. Let's just wait and watch how the football gives the result it would give.
684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 23, 2024, 01:33:39 AM

Yes, it is true that the depth of the squad owned by Bayern Munich can be said to be better than Borussia Dortmund, because Borussia Dortmund themselves always release very influential players in their team, which is what makes them have to re-arrange their strategy every season because they have to look for new players who can replace the position of a player who leaves. We can see this almost every season at Borussia Dortmund.
Obviously I don't doubt Bayern Munich, because in fact they are also playing normally like the previous season, but the only difference is that Leverkusen is performing extraordinary, so it makes Bayern Munich look like they are not performing like the previous season, even though in fact they are still playing as usual.
In this match, of course it will be an interesting match for us to watch, because every time they meet they will show a heated match because they want to beat each other. A hot atmosphere is always created in big matches like this, and we know that this is one of the biggest matches in the Bundesliga.
Borussia Dortmund in previous seasons have been very much active and eager to chase the trophy. Although at the moment the chase isn't off, they've still got every chance in store to prove themselves. They've had scaly strides from the start of the season up till now, they've managed to scale through in the UCL, no one knows their fate in the next round but there's certainty that there's difference in their performances now and then too. They're a good team that just needs to find back their balance, there confidence level has dropped big and corrections needs to be made soon enough too. There's no time out to let go off winning chances, it'll keep drawing them back.

Overtime, they've had good players in the team going off to other clubs and making wave which only notes that they're a team that builds and carves up players to be exceedingly top notch in performance. And it's acceptable that there are still players in the team that currently are capable of keeping the team ahead. The game between these two sides would definitely be a tough one to go round about. Yes they were sides that were and are still considerably competitive to themselves. They're impactful and they know how best to get the desired results. Munich have been sloppy in performances so far but still they can still prove a stunt against long time league rivals.

Borrusia Dortmund have the right goal scoring ability and they've done well at keeping up heated tussle paces with teams. These two teams would be good opponents to themselves. The 3 points is at stake as the result will determine their movement about the league table. Sadly these two teams who were always top league contenders will have to lower their ego and battle out in the European ticket winning phase of the league. The game definitely would have a few goals in it or maybe end in a draw with them sharing the points.

Initially, many people were certainly shocked by AS Roma management's decision to fire Mourinho and replace him with De Rossi. If you think more deeply, the actions taken by Roma management are indeed very risky. The reason is, AS Roma management changed coaches in the middle of the season, which of course would be very risky for performance stability. Apart from that, AS Roma players will definitely need time to adapt to the new coach. Because of this, many parties, especially AS Roma fans, doubted De Rossi when he occupied the AS Roma coaching chair.

But in fact De Rossi erased all doubts in the minds of many people, especially AS Roma fans. The reason is that after AS Roma was coached by De Rossi, AS Roma continued to experience a significant increase in ranking in Serie A. And currently AS Roma is ranked 5th in Serie A. So when compared when AS Roma was coached by Mourinho and when coached by De Rossi, the difference looks quite significant . But that doesn't mean Mourinho is a bad coach. Because after all, Mourinho is a very great coach and is known to many people on the world football scene.

Maybe Mourinho experienced failure at AS Roma, because Mourinho and his players did not have good chemistry. So during training sessions or during matches, AS Roma players may feel uncomfortable being coached by Mourinho. Well, that's most likely the reason Mourinho failed to bring AS Roma to success.

And it's true, AS Roma now has a very big chance of qualifying for the Champions League (UCL). The most important thing is that AS Roma just needs to be consistent in every match they play in Serie A (they must always win). Because AS Roma is now only 3 points different from Bologna, which is ranked 4th in Serie A. So the point is that AS Roma should not waste this golden opportunity.
The situation of Roma before De Rossi's arrival put them in a situation where they have to fix a bit of loops and come on top. Before now, Mourinho has had the  responsibility to ensure good league game results and I won't blame him much for the times of loss because their opponents, their opponents in some situations have been too title contenders and personally wouldn't embrace a loss based on the goal they have for themselves. De Rossi just came and should be given time to show himself.

They're playing the league games and as well as the European games, their attention is on 2 trophies, European trophy will be a bit difficult for them and I don't think that currently De Rossi would be able to scale through all the clubs that will be presented to him to face in each advancement phase of the tournament. Even in the Serie A, it'll be difficult for them to gain the top stand so it's just best that they focus their strength and struggle to maintaining a good result that'll see them scale through to the European cups next season. De Rossi can still make a great team from Roma and their next games encounters are awaited.

They played away to Monza weeks ago and the game outcome actually went in their favor. They were able to confidently net in 4goals and this gave enough goal margin in the match. Monza who were the host didn't actually make much effort, adding that they were up against a better side and nothing less or different from the final outcome was expected to happen. The odds were in Roma's favour and in their own part, they were able to perform and deliver rightly, adding an extra 3points to their league table points and this as well adds to the push and morale ahead of their next European cup game against Milan.

It cannot be denied that indeed until now the Manchester United players are one of the clubs that has a big name and not only now because it has happened from several previous seasons but in the end we also cannot eliminate the fact that Manchester United is also one of the buriers of the performance of star players because when they are at Manchester United with the conditions that occur in Internal, the talent that should be well honed loses momentum and ends in failure.

We can see some players who are examples such as Casemiro or even Cristiano who have not been able to be maximized properly or some young players such as Van De Beek whose performance was destroyed and not even heard of until now as well as some wonderkids who were initially predicted to be great players such as Sancho, Greenwood (although his popularity declined due to his own actions) and a series of other names that failed at Manchester United because there are still a lot of talents buried when wearing Manchester United uniforms.
Ten Hag always does it his way even the ones he doesn't like but indeed at this time as long as it is still positive it doesn't really matter, it's just that if in the end the inconsistency returns like at the start of the season it means there are problems that are still very risky and cannot be resolved by Manchester United.
When I saw Ronaldo coming back to Manchester United though I had chills but at a point I was like why?? Will he still be effective?. It proved his return wasn’t met well by the coach Ten Hag because of the negative imapct it had in the club. The club had some needs and when Ronaldo came back they obviously forgot what they needed and made sure football is played all around Ronaldo and that reAl brought in a sense of pride for the Balon D’Or winner.

Erik Ten Hag took over and showed he’s in charge and that was what was needed at that time. The iron hands of the boss was what the team needed. Though we can’t blame Ronaldo for the bad performance of the team as he proved to be helpful on so many occasions even before the arrival of Ten Hag. His interview was the line drawer for him and that made Hag lose hope and every confidence and trust in him and if you look at the interview and what’s going on now, then you’ll see some sort of truth in what he spoke about then.

Well though the board to an extent were wrong in bringing him back and trying to build the team around him rather they would have brought him back amd make him come in from the bench that way it would have been more honorable and get match winning victory than the humiliation he was put through. Ronaldo is still an integral part of the club’s success and history and he’s still loyal to the cluv and vice versa though things went wrong but I think it could have been better if a different approach was followed.

ATM fans will always hate Felix for his past problems and Felix return to ATM will definitely make the player depressed, but in fact ATM is also confused when they want to sell to another team, of course they will only offer a low price because Felix doesn't have any outstanding achievements.
TBH, I'm not saying he didn't have a good contribution with Barcelona, but at the start of last season, Felix made a pretty good contribution, but after that his performance dropped drastically, almost having difficulty giving the best score in every match.
Indeed, currently Barcelona has no intention of extending the loan period with ATM on the grounds that Barcelona will try to find another player to replace his position with a much better performance quality.
but we'll see after this season ends whether Barcelona is able to get a replacement player who has better talent or if not they will just keep Felix.
Felix has always been a good player, he's a loan player no doubt but he's performed more than he did with his original club. Barcelona has given him the type of tempo he needs to play with. They're a good and committed team and their players are coordinated. The coach himself is young and knows what he needs and builds his team to deliver rightly. It won't be bad to watch Felix stay to do more at Barcelona. Atletico didn't favor him as much as Barcelona has. He's now out of his shell and has built more confidence in himself as well.

I personally don't think that after being watched to grow by Barcelona, then they'd let him off their camp. And I'm convinced that he also would want an extension with the Spanish side. What kills a team is favoritism and it's one factor that should be worked on. Coaches should not involve favoritism as it may have an impact on the game outcomes and as well cause a whole lot of technical errors to occur and it may affect the player's conditions. They need to be encouraged and made to put in efforts to working in the team.

It'll build their ball playing abilities and causes positivity in every game outcomes. His return to the club by summer would really have its own effect though and seriously it'll be dangerous and uncertain to say anything about how his performance may turn out. He's trying his best as a player and so the fans should be able to see his efforts. Barcelona treated him better no doubt and I expect that Atletico wouldn't be different considering his strides shown with Barcelona already.
688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: March 22, 2024, 03:24:40 PM

TBH, I want to see these two popular teams to meet in the final round but I still want to see the drawing of the next match schedule and indeed Liverpool and Leverkusen get guaranteed to qualify for the semi finals but we don't know whether the two teams will not meet in the round semi finals or will only fight other teams.
like in UCL when most people want to see Man City and Madrid meet in the final round but apparently have to meet in the quarter finals and this could have happened to Leverkusen and Liverpool.
so there is no doubt if Liverpool and Leverkusen qualify for the final round but depending on the match schedule in the semi final round and hopefully these two teams will not meet in the semi finals.
In the Europa League, there's been top contending teams from the start till the current stage of the contest. Even though days back, the playoffs stage was concluded and there we saw few teams earn advancement tickets. Well from the beginning of the tournament, we know that it'll only be the tough teams that'd survive. Also predicting the winner this season would be hard as there are a number of tough teams to pick from. The highest we can do is to just analyze these teams based on their overtime performances this season and bringing that in the picture.

The highest probable winner would be Leverkusen, then Liverpool and any other team behind. In essence it's safe to say that if the draws are favourable, then Liverpool would battle with Leverkusen in the final game of the tournament. Between these two teams, Liverpool have been trying though, they're anticipating the EPL trophy, and as well the Carabao cup too where they weeks ago won Chelsea to secure the trophy. With this in their minds, the next goal will be to keep advancing in the UEL and staying intact in the EPL too.

For Leverkusen, they've been impactful, currently the top spot in the Bundesliga too and so they've got same goal as Liverpool and therefore if in recent times they've remained unbeaten, then I doubt that there'd be a negative difference now when the tournament and season is almost rounded up. For me, I'll really love to see the heated game between Leverkusen and Liverpool in the UEL soon though and I have a feeling they'd be made to play against themselves.
689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: March 22, 2024, 01:12:23 PM

Yes, Rakitic's presence in the SPL has certainly brought the SPL's name back into the public spotlight and yes, Rakitic deserves to be looked at by Al-Shabab because he is a midfielder who has good strength and Rakitic from Sevilla who is now pursuing a career in the SPL, is sure to be warmly welcomed by many by SPL fans. and yes I remember when playing against Damac Rakitic scored a goal and at that time he became a hero for Al-shabab and at that time the score was 0-1 for Al-shabab's victory.

However, Rakitic's presence certainly made the name SPL become popular with many people, but of course what made the SPL more famous was because of Ronaldo's presence at the SPL because I'm sure before Ronaldo went to the SPL, few people watched SPL matches, so in my opinion, Ronaldo is the person who contributed to making the SPL become more popular.

Yes, in the match between Al-Shabab and Al-Hilal, it seems that many people predicted that Al-Hilal would win the match and indeed up to now Al-Hilal have never lost in the SPL and up to now Al-Nassr far, they have not been able to beat Al-Hilal. And it seems that even although Rakitic was at Al-Shabab, he certainly wouldn't be able to beat Jorge Jesus' team and in that match I think I would bet on Al-Hilal winning.

You can’t deny the impact of European players on the SPL and that’s why I love the way the do their business by getting those European players at a good price that way they’re boosting the leagues views and in turn helping to build up their local players. That way they’re making their local players transfer fee go up in future. This os what business is all about spending now and making the profits later. I think most European football clubs don’t have this idea yet and as still they see no need in investing in their teams.

Very soon we’ll have the SPL being able to contest against some European teams and probably defeat them too. Rakitic presence in the SPL brought the league back to the media especially after that goal. That’s the effect of getting European signings to the league though we know the major signing that brought them to the media was Ronaldo signing som years ago but still that doesn’t write off the fact that European signings are great signings. Rakitic club will be facing league leaders this weeken and this is one match to watch.

Yes especially as Al-Hilal haven’t lost any single game this season in the league, they’ll be able also defeat Rakitic and his side again this weekend. I’m very confident of Al-Hilal defeating them with over 2-3 goals this season. The opposition team might got Rikitic as their star player to help them challenge Al-Hilal but I doubt if Rakitic alone would be enough to help challenge Al-Hilal with a more better squad than Al-Shabab.
690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 22, 2024, 12:53:40 PM

Clermont seem to be difficulty keeping up with the performance of clubs in league one this season, other clubs may have improved a lot so that Clermont is lagging behind in improving their game, chasing 6 points from clubs above them is not an easy thing and this season only leaves Only 8 matches where there is not much time and in those 8 matches Clermont still faces some tough matches, namely against PSG, Lens, Lyon and Monaco. We all know that these clubs are not just ordinary clubs, they are elite clubs in League 1 so beating them is not It's easy for Clermont. I think Clermont's chance of securing its position in Liga 1 is very unlikely.

A similar thing happened to Metz in the 2021/22 season, he was relegated and last season he was no longer competing in league 1, but this season he is back in league 1, but there has been no significant improvement for Metz, currently he is still struggling to secure his position in league 1 and he is right above Clermont with a difference of 3 points in 17th place if he does not improve and perform surprisingly in the remaining matches this season it is possible that he will be relegated again, it is a shame for Metz that his performance in league 1 over the last 3 seasons has been very bad.
All these teams who make it to the main league of a nation and then do’s the try to invest in their football, how do the expect to still keep up with the way the league goes. How will you come and spend over 2 seasons in a league and yet no investment that you can rely on to help you and your team be able to still remain im the league. Most teams are very okay and satisfied with being a mediocre team rather than fighting and struggling to see if they can at least get European spot next season. This should be the key for most team as with this kind of mindset, you’ll see how improved the team football will get.

Clermont came to the Ligue last 2 seasons and it’s been wavy for them as their performance over the past 3 season has been dwindling upward and downward. Their first season they managed to finish some points above relegation and they were lucly. They put in hardwork in the 2nd season and were able to finish in the top 10 Of the league and that result was quite impressive and I know how much their fans have been happy. What went wrong after the sweet performance last season, they all relaxed and think all is well. This season they’re having a very tough one with only 4 wins and 8 draws while they lost over 14 games.

This is leaving them in 18th out of 18 teams in the league and that means relegation already especially as in the final 8 matches of the league they’ll be facing some quite difficult opponents. This is a very poor one but they should go down to the other league and work real hard and they could be lucky to return nex season and when they return they shouldn’t be like Metz who returned and is about to get relegated again. Investment is very key in every team as this helps the team achieve it’s maximum potential and it also helps to build the face of the league when the teams in the league are all at a great performance level.

It's not certain yet on which tema musiala will join. There have been some rumors said it was chelsea or liverpool. Arsenal has not become a strongest candidate to get him from bayern. Even though if club was able getting him and it will be a pre agreement as the transfer is still blocked till the opening of summer transfer season.
No reason to put musiala as a potential name to help arsenal here. It's not yet clear about musiala's future as even the player still say nothing regarding this. I think that the news that was reporting him to go to the arsenal totally fake.

There are many news that were talking about his possibility to leave from bayern to join in another club. It means that everything related to him still remain unclear this time. Im only guessing that if musiala will make his premier league move rather than stay much longer in bayern munich.
The fact that if musiala was coming to the bayern as a rookie but he has proven himself by spent a few years and his price has been going very high.

City will face arsenal but the gunner will play without musiala since it's only still a rumor. Even if musiala will come to the arsenal and he will not play too. It's very far from saying that if musiala will be playing soon.
Everything about him is still remain questionable coz he has not decided yet his final decision.
Jamal Musiala is one young talent that needs to explore further challenges across Europe especially as Bayern aren’t doing well this season. So it’s safe to say he wants to leave. Now which clubs are in the chase, Arsenal haven’t admitted fully that they want him because even as you check you can see the many options Arsenal have upfront that midfield, and that means Musiala might not have the many playing time he needs in the Arsenal team. Liverpool and Chelsea are in the chase also for this young talent.

He came from the Chelsea academy and I feel he might want to return there if the club can try to secure European football and yes he can play in the Chelsea team as this can be the reason why Gallagher will be leaving. Also in the Liverpool team I think he can still fit in that squad as head very good while attacking and Liverpool loves and needs a player like him. Yes he’ll help in the attacking prowess of any team he finds himself and as a Chelsea fan I would say yes he’s a good option but not what the club needs right now.

From the table of the player, zero word has been communicated so we can still say everything still remains a speculation. Yes, speculations because he still has the powers to make the final decisions but like the say in every rumor there’s an element of truth in it. With a case like this, I think Musiala will be headed to Anfield as that’ll be a perfect club for his style of play. Manchester City vs Arsenal still remain a match of focus and I don’t think Jamal will be finding ot easy if he’s in the Arsenal squad as the team is already blessed with many options in hid position.
692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 22, 2024, 11:13:34 AM

Arsenal will certainly be hungry for victory and want to definitely want to become champions this season and last season's failure want to definitely not be repeated and Arsenal's current strength is in good form and Arsenal always plays well and produces fantastic scores such as in the near future against Sheff utd with a score of 0-6 and like against Newcastle with a score of 4-1 and in possession of the ball when competing they are always good. Yes, that is Arsenal's advantage, they have quality young players and experienced players and that is one of the reasons Arsenal has had a good performance to date.

I am sure that the top 3 teams at the moment will appear confident when competing because they all have strong squads and of course Arsenal must be aware of the strength of the enemy because the remaining match schedule is of course decreasing, so the point is, don't waste matches and of course you have to consistently win.

Yes, the match between Manchester City and Arsenal is of course what viewers have been waiting for and it is also an important match Manchester City and Arsenal to gain points, but if Arsenal wins that match, Arsenal will definitely be proud because they were able to beat last season's champions and I agree with you. Certainly if Arsenal wins psychologically Arsenal will play with confidence in the remaining matches. However, if Manchester City wins against Arsenal, Pep's troops will certainly be happy and the potential for winning trophies this season will definitely be greater.
Arsenal after last season mistake during the last few matches on how they gave up on their title chase, are showing enough hunger this season. But my fear is will they be able to maintain consistency to win the league this season. Arteta is under serious pressure as he’s got just the UCL and the EPL to win something for Arsenal else, I think the fans will start coming for him to leave their club. Yes it’s quite understandable especially as he’s spent quite a lot so it’s okay if the fans are expecting him to win at least the league.

He’s tried to show how much of hunger is in the team to win the league this season but the major problem is will they be able to keep up till the very end. Yes keeping up till the very end is the main issue here and not just being an empty drum making very loud noise.Yes they’ve tried to hit on their opponents with great goal margins and as such are top of the table with very huge goal difference of about 6-7 goals between them and Liverpool who’re tied on same points with them. Now their next match is against Man City at the Etihad.

Manchester City are a point away from Arsenal and are very much in the chase for a 4th consecutive league title and they know how much it’ll be when they defeat Arsenal at the Etihad. These kind of fixtures is what Arsenal has in stock for them in the final 10 matches of the EPL. Matches against Man United, Chelsea, Tottenham are going to be real big for the Arsenal squad and not also forgetting they’re still in the UCL and we know what pressure could to a team. This Arsenal team no doubt is good but I just feel it’s not their season yet and they should try again next season. Liverpool looks better placed to win the league. Whereas if Arsenal can get all 3 points against City at the Etihad, then it’ll be a big one for them as it’ll be a stepping step for them unto them winning the league.
693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: March 22, 2024, 10:35:12 AM

Beating Real Madrid is a tough challenge that must be overcome by any club that wants to dominate the Champions League. Manchester City cannot be said to be completely strong in the Champions League. Just because they were able to win the Champions League trophy last season and beat Real Madrid. It doesn't mean that Manchester City can boast because they can't we deny that Real Madrid is still the King of the Champions League and has collected 14 titles, while Manchester City only has 1 Champions League trophy and this season Manchester will not necessarily be able to get it because Real Madrid cannot be underestimated. Real Madrid's performance is stronger this season unlike last season I think in the first leg Real Madrid will create a big aggregate in order to avenge their defeat last season.

The meeting between Jude Bellingham and Erling Haaland will be a dramatic meeting because they will be enemies in the match and we will see a fierce battle between the two of them in attacking, even though Jude Bellingham is not a striker like Haaland, Jude Bellingham can be relied on by Ancellotti to be in every striker position to attack. I'm really looking forward to this big match which feels like a final and at the same time sad because we will lose one of the best clubs in the Champions League before final.
Real Madrid are like the kings of the UCL and yes for you to dominate the UCL you need to be able to eliminate Real Madrid. The same way Pep did it with Man City last season and went on to win the UCL is the same way anyteam wishing to win it this season must do. Similarly like last season, we’ll be having Real Madrid vs Man City again this time in the Quater Final. We know how this kind of match usually goes as it’s always a fierce battle especially as the coaches of both clubs are very sound tactically and you can’t underrate any of them. Real Madrid are having the upper hands in this fixture because they’re currently a better teAm than how they were last season.

Yes I’m saying this majorly because of te addition of a key player like Jude who will be reuniting with his good old friend Haaland who was his close pal in his old Dortmund days. These 2 players will be the major focus of this encounter because in one way or the other they’re the 2 point men for both teams. Beating Real Madrid last season was kinda difficult for Pep talk more of now Real Madrid is beginning to find their balance, you can imagine how hard it’ll get for them this season. I just wish Ancelotti wouldn’t overthink to try out a mew strategy as it could cost him the match.

This is going to be a fierce encounter and the goal differences between them might not the much. Each of them will be taking their home encounter as a major advantage and I think Real Madrid can use this very well especially as they’re playoffs first at the Spanish ground. This match will be having lots of views as it’s likened to be a final before the final and I have high hopes that the winner of this encounter will go on to win the UCL this season as these 2 teams looks really unstoppable in thr UCL this season. Pep shouldn’t make a mistake of using same tactics as last season else he’ll fail woefully thought I still believe Real will defeat him in whatever tactics he’s trying to use.

In essence, at this moment Juventus is at least experiencing a decline in performance and therefore, most will assume that it will be at least difficult for Juventus to return to second place by overtaking Milan. But indeed, if for example in the next matches Juventus succeeds in recovering and improving their performance then of course, Juventus will again have a chance to compete for second place with Milan. But yes, the bad scenario is that at least it seems that Juventus is still having difficulty recovering because they have experienced instability in the results obtained in every match recently. With these factors, the worst case scenario is that Juventus still has a chance to fall one more place to fourth place, but indeed, a team as big as Juventus should be able to still finish in third or second place at the end of this season.

Milan needs to put in extra work to their efforts. Their advancement in the European cup was very much a good push for them in terms of their confidence building but there's been times of less ball performances which takes till on them and it's causing setbacks in their Serie A race. This season though, they weren't really much of a strengthened team with increasing tempo as before but they tried to win games. All hope isn't lost for them as they've still got chances against lesser teams and their next league opponents.  They're a good side but it'll take something extra to be a better side. For now, they've got to strive to stay in shape and in the right spot on the league table.

There are still weeks to go, no one knows if a change can be effected to the standings, one just has to look out for every team's performance. In all their strides, they never should forget that they're in huge competitive battle in the Serie A league and every moment and game count, so they've got no leisure to slack or relax or draw back in their efforts too. Though Milan's injury cases caused loopholes in the certainty of them progressing in the European contest. They tried to fight to conquer the round of 16 phase even though there was a neutral probability that they'll advance in the contest.

They're currently at a time that they'd need to put in more proactive solutions to help them out of their current predicament. In their domestic league as well, they have not really been up and doing as they're known for, their matches can't even be confidently predicted because they're lagging behind. They're not currently the Ac Milan that we know. The coach himself is experienced with them therefore there's a probability that he'd rectify the default in no time but they really have to up their game if they want to progress through this season without issue.
695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: March 21, 2024, 08:08:57 PM

It would be ridiculous if the Saudi professional league was eager to spend more money on new players who have little potential to increase viewership from the league. The league would be better off focusing solely on increasing domestic transfers rather than buying players from the European continent at such outrageous costs which is also robbing the league too and this is the only best solution for this. Learned from hendo's case if player can go back to the european competition again and it shall be giving a very important lesson for saudi pro league club.
They got what they wanted, and the outcome was far from what they expected, so it must be ridiculous if the Saudi Pro League continues to spend more money in the summer.

I've heard that some clubs are targeting big players like De Bruyne and Salah. I believe that regardless of how much money Saudi clubs spend on new players, football fans continue to view top European competitions such as the EPL or the Serie A as the top leagues to watch rather than this and yeah we are talking here caused by the hype brought by ronaldo's effect but can we sure if all of ronaldo fans continously watch SPL? This must be recorrected and saudi pro league needs to reconsider its decision to sign the players that costed hundreds million.
It is difficult to change a habit that someone has already developed. I'd like to call the SPL the dumbest organization if it continues to spend money to acquire new players from Europe.

It has proven that it is not even working, and how can this club do more shit like this? Enough is enough. The Saudi Pro League can use the money to increase domestic transfers.
Even total attendance has been significantly decreasing. The big players' hype is only for the short term.

Well football is business where you have to spend money to make sure you get the money and yes I think the Saudis understands this. So I’m very cool with whatever decision they take on how they spend their money. Spending money on European players is real worth it as that way they are able to help improve their local players who soon will start being a big deal amongst themselves in the league. Yes because playing with these European players will be of great value to the local players.

The club has gotten the media presence it needed and you can’t compare the league to European Leagues as these European Leagues have been in existence far before the SPL. Checking the trajectory of the SPL, you’ll see how easily they rose from being lowclass to how many online media presence they’re havin. This is because of the investments now the major addition of players like Kdb and Salah isn’t majorly for the media but rather to help grow the local talents that way funding local transfer for the future. Let’s try to look beyond our reach at the future that’s the meaning of these kind of transfers.

Yes you can say the attendance of fans is slightly decreasing well this is because the league already has a winner so there’s no much expectations anymore. Let’s wait till next season and see how the league will look with new faces from Europe joining the league. These oil moguls knows business as compared to the English people and the way they run their club, the oil owners have a wide idea on how to run a club and for that I trust them in whatever decision they take concerning the club.
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 21, 2024, 07:48:59 PM

Bayern Munich would undoubtedly prioritise the Champions League competition over the Bundesliga, where they trail their closest rival, Bayern Leverkusen, by a significant number of points. Switching their focus to the Champions League is not a guarantee that they will win the Champions League, as we still have very strong teams that will give them a tough time if they are to prevail in this competition. Arsenal could be an easy contender, but they must prove that they are superior; otherwise, Arsenal may eliminate them from the competition sooner than expected.

Bayern Leverkusen are now left with two competitions in which they have high hopes of reaching the finals and ultimately winning. For the Bundesliga, the point difference between them and second-placed Bayern Munich is a significant advantage. The Europa League's path to the final appears to be easier, and they will need to be at their best in the final to win, which they will have plenty of time to do once they reach that stage of the competition.
The quarter final games have been drawn, now it's seeming like a reincarnating battle. The rivalry continues and it all seems unpredictable. The odds for team qualifications are a bit difficult to predict as  the game only gets tougher now and a lot has to be put into consideration without neglecting how different the performance may turn out on the field of play. PSG will battle out with Barcelona, Arsenal with Munich, Real Madrid with City and Atletico with Dortmund.

The toughest game of these schedules would have been all except for Munich and Arsenal but as it stands, Arsenal still has a shot against this German side considering how poor Munich have been in passing weeks and then Arsenal giving their all to their games. Though they've not had a good UCL record, so in records, Munich stands a chance. So comparing both teams, it's just best to leave the decision to be decided on the pitch. Real Madrid and City are title contenders too in their respective leagues, UCL title is as well their natural aim and so one of them would have to surrender it off at this stage of the competition.

Arteta's Arsenal are young, vibrant and victory oriented too. They won't want to give off their chances at the trophy just so easily to Porto. They're a side more likely to put up a fierce contest and make the game tough for their opponent Porto. Maybe or maybe not, Porto will be able to endure the strength Arsenal would put up. Arsenal are to some extent technically better than them still.Munich's performance has been lingering far behind their usual tempo which is odd for them. Their journey to the most appropriate spot this season is threatened and no one is certain that they'll be able to scale through. Their performance is far less than encouraging too.
697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 21, 2024, 07:05:00 PM

It seems like you forgot about 1 team which is also part of the team challenging for tickets to other competitions.
Lens is one of the teams that successfully won a UCL ticket last season and is currently starting to improve on its previous shortcomings and is slowly improving its performance by adding several points to continue to climb to the next ranking.
It is indeed very difficult to predict who will succeed in winning a ticket to the prestigious competition because the point difference is very close, while the remaining 9 matches are the same as the remaining 27 points that can be achieved by all teams and this means that the successful team has a very close point difference a chance to finish in a more decent ranking.
however, I still believe that Monaco this season can at least get a ticket to the UCL or a qualifying ticket for the european league and for Brest I need to see the next match because I see Brest has lost control a little recently.
The Leagues are rounding up And every clubs in battle for UCL spots must now maintain comsistency while fighting for the spot else they’ll be overthrown by their oppositions. This is what’s happening in almost every league at this point. For the Ligue 1, in next season’s expanded Ucl, we’ll have the top 3 teams going through and the 4th going through a round of qualification. Most of these teams are trying to avoid finishing 4th but one thing must finish in that spot.

PSG are very secured as Brest draw to Lile made the gap between Psg and Brest who sits 2nd widen to about 12 points after 6-2 win for PSg over the weekend. Now the points between the 2nd to 5th position seems real close and now consistency must come in this final 10-12 games. Monaco have a huge experience on this kind of game and they are going to be having some easier fixtures as compared to Brest and Lile. Yes but that doesn’t mean some upset can’t happen. It’s football and the underdogs proves to be the spoilers most times so Moanco must be beware and make sure they’re getting all 3 points match in and out so that they can remain safe.

Lille too are also on the run and I don’t see them giving up any time soon especially as their player is about 6 goals behind Mbappe in the league’s goal scoring chart. This goes to show how solid their attacking prowess is and it shouldn’t be underrated at all at any point. I would love to see how this league fight ends but I have my predictions already. I think Brest who have been without a win in the last 2 matches could finish 3rd and Monaco climbing up to 2nd, leaving Lile in 4th as I don’t think Nice and Lens will be able to go past Lile talk more of Brest and Monaco.
698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: March 21, 2024, 05:07:42 PM

I think Aston Villa's position in the top 4 is not completely safe because they still have several difficult matches, namely against Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Brighton and also Liverpool. Apart from that, Aston Villa also still has a schedule in the European League conference, so Aston has a chance Villa maintaining the top 4 position is still not completely safe and Tottenham Hotspur still has the opportunity to occupy that position if Aston Villa is careless and experiences a decline in performance due to the many schedules he has. While Tottenham Hotspur does not have any schedule apart from playing matches in the Premier League so he is more relaxed in set a strategy and there is still a lot of time he can use to continue practicing and training to be ready to face the remaining matches this season in the race for the top 4.

Well, looking at their schedule, it is clear that Tottenham Hotspur has more free time than Aston Villa and he can also use that to overtake Aston Villa in their current position. Tottenham still hasn't played match in Week 29. If he has played it and won, maybe he have the same points as Aston Villa but because Tottenham haven't played them yet, Aston Villa can still sit comfortably in that position while waiting for Tottenham's appearance in the next match.
The EPL continues to lead as the most competitive league across Europe as you can see all spots being in heavy contention by 2-3 clubs. This kind of competition makes the league keep looking very great as the teams will keep improved and looking fierce when they get to Europe. The battle for a top 4 spot in the league is still up and this is because we already have Liverpool, City and Arsenal in the top 3. Now we’re going to see a match or competition between Aston Villa, Tottenham and Manchester United. Yes, you can’t take away Man United off the race because they’re a big team and after the shocker they pulled against Liverpool then you must consider them to be in that race. What makes this battle even more fun is that England could get at least 5 spots in the UCl as opposed to the regular 4. So all these 3 teams needs to rack up as many points as possible.

Aston Villa are currently leading the race as they’re sitted pretty good in 4th place. This is actually going to be a big one for them if they finish in 4th place. They started the season with 8 consecutive home wins and after the big victory against Arsenal, they were in the tilte race. They dropped form and have now lost about 4 matches at home including a humiliating 0-4 win against Tottenham who are their major rivals in this battle for Top 4.The Villas are in trouble as when you check out their remaining 10 fixtures they’re playing Man City and Arsenal away from home and then welcome Liverpool to the Villa Park and all 3 of these teams asre in search of points to win the league. Getting points from these matches will be a big one for Villa and I really hope they’ll be able to cope.Tottenham under this new coach have been one great team to watch. Their signings have all proven to be worth their prices and this is what evry club wishes for. Inconsistency has cost them at times this year, with good results then being followed by poor ones, leaving their top-four hopes in the balance. They still have games against City, Arsenal and Liverpool too.

The future looked somewhat bright for United after finishing 3rd last season under the ETH. It looked like it’s the start of a mew era. However it’s been one hell of a season that the fans and players want to forget and end in a hurry.  They crashed out of the UCL finishing bottom of the league and have never been in contention for the league. But players are returning from injury and have won five of their last seven in the league to slowly close the gap with Spurs and Villa. So, it all comes down to the remaining games and matches against Arsenal and Liverpool look tough, while Newcastle and Brighton are likely to be scrapping for European places. But despite the less easy opponents I think the gap looks pretty big. My Prediction is Tottenham to finish 4th while Villa finishes 5th.
699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 21, 2024, 04:11:36 PM

That is a good suggestion, but couldn't Joe come up with a better option than those old midfielders? I know they're all good, but they're too old for this. I meant that if Chelsea is in a disaster period, this is the primary issue that must be addressed by the club as soon as possible or it will keep get bad result in the football. The main issue is the owner's frontal acts of kicking out a large number of potential players, which, as a result, Chelsea has no experienced players in the squad. The young players still need advice from the veterans about their performance. Todd is good on business but it's not in football

Let's say some midfielders, such as Kante, were still good enough to play for Chelsea but were being sold. This amateur management hired the young players without even considering whether they needed a veteran to advise ttheir young players. Old players' experience can help young players improve their performance.
This is one of Chelsea's worst mistakes. The club was too impatient, and Chelsea attempted to buy instant success and it's destroyed the club. As a result, that strategy is ineffective, and Chelsea must accept this if the club  must improve its performance. I've never seen a club try to take a risk by kicking all of its veteran players.

The club should try to retain some key players. It is extremely difficult to solve Chelsea's problem. The fact that many young talented players are incapable of carrying the club to the next level. It is still not in the top ten, which is extremely disappointing.
Things got even worse when Pochettino started doing stupid experiments that cost the club a lot of money. The new Chelsea appears to be a new mediocre club. It was sometimes winning the game, but it was all luck.

Madrid does it right by keeping veteran to help young players to achieve their best performance. Chelsea needs to take Madrid as an example of how to develop talents carefully.
Football we all know is business but you need to do this kind of business with wide range of experience and consideration of many options before taking a step or making an act. Yes this is because, a wrong step taken could end up spoiling the whole business and then you’ll be on the losing end. That’s why we have the need for Directors that’s sporting directors as these ones are to have wide range of experiences that you’ll be able to have confident in their deceisions. They take decisions that are majorly in the interest of the club and the joy of the fans.

One major decision a sporting director has to make is that of transfer of players in and out of the as he must make the right decisions else the club will be suffering from the wrong decisions. This is the situation at Chelsea right now. The new directors at the club came in and they made a decision of selling out all the key players at the club and this is one very bad decision. Yes because the new young players are lacking in direction and this is mot great as they’ll not be able to perform optimally.

This is the major issue the Chelsea sqaud is having and yes it can be corrected rather than still wanting to sell out major players at th club rather keep them and stop going for young players who are not fully having much potentials. Mixture of the old experienced and the young one with enough strength is what’s best for the club. This will make the club even grown fiercer and better and am example is Real Madrid as you can see the strength of their midfield which is a combo of the veteran and amateur.
700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: March 21, 2024, 03:32:06 PM

Real Madrid is in good condition because they have perfect squad with all their mainstay players who have succeeded in enabling Real Madrid to achieve many wins in the previous few matches.
But on the other hand, Manchester City is also in very possible condition to beat Real Madrid because they have squad that really cannot be underestimated and Manchester City is really focusing on preparations for the quarter-final match later.
Hopefully, in the next almost 4 weeks before the match takes place, Manchester City will not have any problems that could harm them, such as players getting injured, because the first leg match is big opportunity for Manchester City to win by landslide.
Pep must be more careful in positioning his players for Premier League matches and he must be able to look after all the key players to avoid injury problems.

Real Madrid might be able to have additional performance with Mbappe but that will happen next season and this season they will only be the same as last season when they lost badly on the road to Manchester City.
I think the results of last season matches could happen again for this season quarter final.
The UCL has gotten to the Quater Finals stage and now we’re having 8 teams who are very good at what they do all contesting against each other for the Ucl. Now we have to start drawing out the chances of a particular team winning the trophy this season. All the matches in this round of the competition seems to be very fierce as they’re teams doing well in their various leagues. One match that caught our attention is between the 2 best teams who have greater chances of winning the trophy.

The Real Madrid vs Man City continues to be one game that have a fierce fight as both of these teams are doing great. These teams are also doing very well and they’re having great talents that can go on to win the league. Looking at this match, both teams will sure be having the advantage at their respective home grounds but I think Real Madrid have the greater advantage. Yes this is because Ancelotti has learnt from his mistake last season and isn’t willing to repeat on it again.

Talking about the talents of both teams, I think Real Madrid this season with the addition of Jude in that squad happens to be better than the Man City squad as the City squad if you check they’re not able to perform on the high level like they did last season. Also, Ancelotti would have learnt from hos errors last season and will be ready for Pep and his boys. I have strong hopes on Real Madrid going through and also winning the trophy because to me they’re he best team currently but Pep shouldn’t be underrated because he’s a very good tactician. Imagine Real Madrid having an addition like Mbappe then it’ll be a game over before the game starts, well that’ll be possible from next season.
