Yes, Arsenal and Liverpool have the same points, of course this makes the competition even fiercer, but Arsenal is superior in terms of scores which makes them lead at the top of the standings. Of course we won't know from the results of the matches of the top 3 teams at the moment whether they will consistently win or not and of course we will watch how the match goes but I don't think there is anything to be afraid of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City because these 3 teams are indeed the strongest. At the moment and if you look at it in terms of points earned, of course the 3 teams are safe, like the points gap between Manchester City and Aston Villa certainly has quite a large point difference, so I think the top 3 teams at the will continue to compete closely until the end of the season. But if the top 3 teams currently lose continuously, maybe we will see another team rising to replace their position.

Yes, in the 29th week of Arsenal's match against Chelsea, Arteta will have to be careful because Chelsea's strength cannot be underestimated, but I am sure that Arteta's troops will be able to beat Chelsea and it seems that if Arsenal wants to win a trophy this season, of course they have to win the match against Chelsea. Yes, I also have the same opinion that Manchester City will be able to beat Brighton.

Yes, if the top 3 teams currently make mistakes, I think it will cause tremendous regret and have the potential to fail to achieve their dream of becoming champions in the English League.
We’re approaching the close of the EPL and everyone seems to be focused on who will be taking the trophy home. Yes this is sincerely the most competitive league across Europe as you can see how fierce the competition is. We have plenty matches that could change the standings between the top 3 especially when we’ve got a match between Arsenal and City at the Etihad and this match is highly anticipated. Both teams will be going into this match with full confidence as any drop of points could result in the team saying bye bye to the league chase

Before GW 30, both City and Arsenal have very serious matches with Brighton and Chelsea respectively and yes you can argue that the 2 opponents aren’t on a good form but you can’t ignore the fact that the match between Chelsea and Arsenal is a London Derby and Chelsea have what it takes to stand strong. Arsenal who will real want all 3 points against Chelsea must be ready to fight hard for it. Any drop of point before they face each other or when they face each other should be considered a bye bye to the league. If you ask me, I’ll say Arsenal should bid the league goodbye already because of he crazy schedules they have.

Yes City too have some crazy schedules but their matches might not be as serious as Arsenal’s, as Arsenal still have major opponents like Chelsea, Man United and Tottenham to contend with. Moreso, they’re still participating in the UCL and I think that workload might be much for the squad and we know what rotation of a squad can do. City on the other hand yes are still in chase for a treble as they’re very much active in the FA Cup but the difference is in the league opponents, as they’re having no serious opponents other than Arsenal and Tottenham. I would love to see how the matches go for these teams in GW 29 and then 30 then I think we’ll know who and who are still in the chase for the league.

We have to admit how superior Arsenal rose in the second leg, even though Arsenal won with difficulty but in the end the fans could smile after so long they waited to be able to qualify again for the last 8 of the Champions League, Arsenal struggle I think was quite tough and even in that match it was seen throughout the game Arsenal continued to get great pressure from the Porto attackers and fortunately for Arsenal to have Raya under their crossgoal in the match

Arsenal also actually had many opportunities to score more than 1 goal in the match and even after winning 1 goal through trossard goals, Arsenal had actually scored through odeggard but unfortunately the goal was disallowed by the referee due to a foul , Porto extraordinarily solid defense made Arsenal attackers quite frustrated and even I saw Pepe was able to build a layered defense to maintain Porto's defense Stay tough throughout the game.
Quite happy to see Arsenal can continue their journey in the Champions League season and curious enough to see which strong team will be their next opponent later.

The UCL is the major elite competition with clubs across Europe participating and that’s why you see all clubs in that tournament always wanting to have top spot and top notch performance because of the kind of audience that competition holds. From that competition many players achieve their dream signings and have the opportunity to play for their dream clubs. The Round of 16 of this competition was rounded up this week and we saw some top notch performances that we didn’t expect or should I say that we consider to be upsetting the big teams. This is a norm in the UCL as we always see the least considered tean always doing the wonders and securing qualification past the major team.

In the match between Arsenal and FC Porto, little did we expect that match to go to extra time especially as so many of us thought Arsenal will be thrashing out Porto with some huge number of goals. Well Arteta boys got the win at 90 minutes but that wasn’t enough to end the game there. Porto too performed better than they did at their home as they came to give Arsenal a run for their money and that was one of the major reasons why we saw this match going to extra time and even to the penalty shoot out.

Arsenal need to be grateful to Raya who was able to pull up some saves in the match and also during the shoot out because him not being there could have been a different story already for the Gunners. Now they’re through to the last 8 and I think this is the first in over 14-15 years and you can see the joy from the fans. Well, I think the attack needs to be more productive in this phase cause now we’ve got the competition getting more stronger and top teams still remaining and ready to battle it. Congratulations to Arsenal for still staying top of the league and on their Quater Final Spot.

Yes, AC Milan really has to be careful in this match, because as you said, Slavia Prague will play with high intensity to make up for their deficit in the first leg and I am sure they will go all out in this match. AC Milan have to think in that direction but it shouldn't be a burden for them, because if it becomes a burden then they won't be able to escape in the game, and that's what's dangerous.
Playing carefully doesn't mean playing stiffly, they can play as usual but their concentration level must be increased again so they don't lose focus easily, and they also have to play as neatly as possible so they don't make unnecessary mistakes. They are already 2 goals ahead at the moment, this is a very good opportunity for them to qualify for the next round. Actually, they only need a draw to get through this round and hopefully they can do it very well. It would be very disappointing if they had to be comeback by Slavia Prague, it would be one of those painful matches that is not easy to forget.
Milan needs to put in extra work to their efforts. Their advancement in the European cup is very much a good push for them in terms of their confidence building but there's been times of less ball performances which takes till on them and it's causing setbacks in their Serie A race. This season though, they weren't really much of a strengthened team with increasing tempo as before but they tried to win games. All hope isn't lost for them as they've still got chances against lesser teams and their next league opponents. They're a good side but it'll take something extra to be a better side. For now, they've got to strive to stay in shape and in the right spot on the league table.

There are still weeks to go, no one knows if a change can be effected to the standings, one just has to look out for every team's performance. In all their strides, they never should forget that they're in huge competitive battle in the Serie A league and every moment and game count, so they've got no leisure to slack or relax or draw back in their efforts too.Though Milan's injury cases caused loopholes in the certainty of them progressing in the European contest. They have to fight to conquer the round of 16 phase and there's a neutral probability that they'll advance in the contest.

They're currently at a time that they'd need to put in more proactive solutions to help them out of their current predicament. In their domestic league as well, they have not really been up and doing as they're known for, their matches can't even be confidently predicted because they're lagging behind. They're not currently the Ac Milan that we know. The coach himself is experienced with them therefore there's a probability that he'd rectify the default in no time but they really have to up their game if they want to progress through this season without issue.

I shake my head when I see takes like this. How do you follow Pep's Manchester City and say he was successful only because he has financial backing? Do you know how that sounds?
Klopp has spent almost as much as Pep in Liverpool. Klopp has a net spend of about £900 million. Check how much Arterta has spent so far in Arsenal. What about Manchester United which has a net spend of over £1.2 billion post Alex Ferguson era?
Most recently we have Chelsea that have spent a billion on transfers in the last two seasons, yet all these clubs don't have Alf the success of Manchester City in the Pep era. So how do you say he's successful because the club grants him all the players he needs?

I know that you can't be successful without good players, but at the end of the day, it comes down to the wit of the manager. Pochettino has Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe in his team and struggled to win even the Ligue 1.
My point is, no matter how much a club spends on transfer, if they don't have the right manager they won't be successful.
Funny enough the players Manchester City but are not so expensive. Now they've gotten Savio from Girona if he comes to the team and turns into a beast, people will start talking about how Manchester City always signs good players. No manager in the top 6 would do what Pep is doing to Doku.
Give Pep his flowers, he's successful because he's good.
City's boss Pep is one good coach that has good foresight. His style of play, choice of players and combination of squad makes City formidable in all their displays. City themselves has a lot to offer in football, they're one team that are tough to encounter, this is because of Pep. How best can a team be with 3 different squads that are too good to face any rival. Even the youngsters are doing far better than old big Dawgs in other teams. The best thing that's ever happened to Manchester City is Pep Guardiola. Sometimes one would wonder if he'd be able to do these exploits with a different team, the answer is yes.

We've seen his works in the clubs he's been before City and we've seen that he's the right man for any club's managerial position.Liverpool on the other hand has experienced a push ahead in their stance since Klopp joined the team. They have been impactful in all areas of contests they find themselves. They've pulled through series of finals and have lifted a number of trophies too. The manager has been a positive addition to them and it's understandable if the club can't let go of him yet.

This season, he's aimed for a number of trophies too, first when they took on Chelsea in the EFL finals, definitely the boss was charged to win again. The European contests too is there. He's been able to put the team in the spotlight which they need to excel. The players he's worked with are definitely improving in their abilities too. Just like Pep in City, Klopp is been a savior to Liverpool and they'd definitely have to get to some greater heights before he exits the team soon.
685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: March 14, 2024, 01:48:01 PM

You say it well. At the moment, I see Barcelona as an ungrateful team. If Barcelona weren't, they wouldn't have said what they said to Xavi at the outset. When Xavi joined the team, he managed it to the point where the team won the Laliga league, and they said nothing negative about him. However, this season, since the team's performance hasn't been good from the start, they have blamed him, saying that he is a bad manager and doesn't deserve to be in Barcelona. Did they forget that he was the one who had helped the team win the Laliga cup when he arrived? The Barcelona team and their supporters are truly inconsiderate.

Since the start of the season, I have maintained that Xavi is not Barcelona's problem, despite some people blaming him as the manager. Did Barcelona purchase any new players during the transfer window? No, they continued to complain that they were short on cash and that many of the players they were using were ineffective. Now that Xavi has chosen to leave the team, they are praising him after realising that he was performing well and helping the team advance to the Champions League quarterfinal, If I'm Xavi, I'll stick to my word and quit the team; I won't give in to pressure from them.
The financial situation of Barcelona at some moment didn't require an irrational spending. It required careful consideration and study too. Barcelona needed to get out of the situation fast and so they didn't n't dare trade their chances. They had eyes on some players who are or will also be willing to join them but they just couldn't squeeze out that funds because it'd have led to another jeopardy. It was so sad that for the time being, they were left with just free transfer options or low budgeted players. Adding a high rated player in the team also meant a careful study of his salary incentives and finding a plan that would befit this player and I don't think any player of that stance, would want his salary structure reviewed.

The best thing for Barcelona was just endurance whilst finding quick means out of the situation so they'd be back to acquiring the best guys in the game. Well in as much as they were battled with that magnitude of setback as a team, the Spanish side still strived towards gaining good game results which also fueled their progress and performances in competitions to come. But they'll need to learn from their mistakes this season and try to set things right in the upcoming season.

I won't say they did extremely well so far in the endeavors this season as definitely they had times of good news and good results and also times where they fell short of victory which was a negative effect to their journey so far this season. There's still a a few weeks left to the end of the season, but sadly I doubt that they can still make a wholesome difference, as Real Madrid and Girona would definitely give them a difficult time, they can also work towards staying in good shape for the UCL tournament games too and we'd see how good, well and far they'd go as weeks go by.
686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 14, 2024, 11:16:24 AM

This season has 9 matches remaining and Leverkusen is at the top of the standings with 10 points adrift of Bayern Munich who are in second place.
It is clearly not an easy thing for Bayern Munich to achieve or even surpass Leverkusen points tally in just 9 matches. remaining.
Currently, many parties believe that the Bundesliga title is held by Leverkusen and of course this statement is also based on Leverkusen ability and playing quality which can be said to be truly stable.
There have been no truly fatal mistakes that have caused Leverkusen to lose and all team that have faced Leverkusen before have felt the pressure of how strong the defense is and how great the attack strategy Leverkusen has.
When talking about players, Bayern Munich is actually far superior with the presence of various great players who clearly have great qualities, but Leverkusen is much better at dealing with every situation and condition in every match.
This is one of Leverkusen advantages that Xabi has implemented this season.

In the previous away match the first leg against Qarabag resulted in draw, and this proves that Leverkusen can still play well even in away matches.
In the second leg match, Leverkusen will benefit from playing at home and of course this is big opportunity for Leverkusen to win and be able to qualify for the last 8.
I also hope that Leverkusen can become team that continues to survive in the Europa League and really fight for the title by reaching the final, this is one of the hopes and desires of everyone, especially Leverkusen fans.
Alonso and his squad aren't giving up and weekly they put up a whole different energy towards that trophy race. Comparing Xabi's abiliy based on his performances with his team, it'll be fair to admit his superiority in skillset. Leverkusen when Xabi took over had to start from scratch to build up to where they are now. So far Xabi, he has been a good boss and his methods have worked perfectly for Leverkusen. One would wonder how he managed to put up such feat for the team considering the spot he picked them from.

It's one quality that can definitely be found in a good manager. Leverkusen have been impressive in all rounds and it's surprising that they're now better than some already grounded teams. It only means that Xabi has a unique managing quality which can be of essence in bigger teams too. I believe he's still got good plans for the German team, which will still be manifested good.Their last UEL round of 16 game was played and the results were very impressive. We saw the two big teams in the competition strive to make a good game.

Although for Qarabag, yes they were very much competitive and they did their best to hold Leverkusen to a draw but this is not a justification to their qualification unto the next phase. Big ups to them still that they were able to perform unpredictably well last night. They better in the first two goals in the game and they definitely used their host advantage very well. Leverkusen, would only have to do better in the second leg adding that they'd be the host and i believe they won't want to tarnish their records so far this season, so I'm very much  confident in their ability to score enough and secure the next phase ticket when they take on Qarabag in Germany.
687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: March 13, 2024, 09:23:14 PM

The second leg match will be a mission impossible match for Brighton, even though they play at home but it is unlikely that we will see Brighton able to create surprises in the match later, currently reversing the aggregate score of 4 goals without conceding something that is very difficult for a club like Brighton, even if they are able to score but maybe their percentage is only 10% in the game to qualify for the next round,  Moreover, Roma who come with high confidence, of course, do not only want to defend completely in the game and at least they will surprise Brighton again with their counterattack.

Brighton this season is actually still better than Potter coaching period in my opinion, when I saw Brighton game in the era of the two coaches I actually saw that Brighton had dared to dominate possession and make shots, I think it was only natural for Brighton to lose in the first leg because indeed their experience in the Europa League is very little different from Roma who have been quite experienced when playing in the Europa League, especially this season is first time for brighton played in European competition in the club history and Brighton must  thank to de zerbi regardless of the outcome of the Europa League second leg later.

The UEL game ended in Roma's favour as once again they ensured a clear 3points victory with a wide goal margin too. This only assures then of a bigger possibility ahead of the second leg clash which seems to be in Roma's favour. They did a good job putting Brighton in that tight corner even though majority of us thought Brighton would stand up to the fight and try to reduce the goal gaps regardless. Roma have been able to gather enough confidence ahead of their domestic league games. Even though the top 2 spot isn't assured to them, they've been able to fight to maintain relevance and as well ensure that they secure an European ticket next season, just their consistency matters at this point.

The advancement journey won't be easy, the forthcoming league games too won't be easy. But I believe De Rossi is set to give his best for the team judging from the result of their last two games. For Brighton specifically, they've been impactful and are striving to stay in shape in the Premier League, yes they've also had to fight hard to show relevance in the European trophy chase and this is one feat that they should be celebrated for. They've had a couple of EPL encounters with very much competitive teams considering the nature of the league and these encounters have a couple of times ended fairly and advantageous for them. Even though a few of the game outcomes caused their setbacks towards a better spot on the league table.

Still they're unfailing in their task of delivering good points at the end of games. For the past two seasons, they've made notable differences and this season has been the biggest difference made. It's good to see the smaller teams rise up to challenges, this and more is definitely changing the whole narrative of football as the years go by. I believe that there's still more to expect of this slowly turning dangerous side next season. They're good at what they do and reducing is not an option but rather improving and striving more to be better.
688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: March 13, 2024, 09:13:11 PM

Valencia, which is currently ranked 8th in Laliga, is certainly a good achievement and there has been progress because last season Valencia was ranked 16th and only had 42 points and in the current season Valencia is experiencing rapid progress and has achieved 40 points and of course there are still some left match Valencia will play around 11 matches and I also predict that next season Valencia will potentially continue to be better and will be able to compete with strong teams such as Madrid, Barcelona and others.

Yes, I, like you, don't pay much attention to Valencia's condition and performance, even though Valencia has made rapid progress in terms of performance and ranking in Laliga when compared to last season. Yes, when we played against Madrid, I was also starting to be surprised by the result of the match because Vinicius and his friends couldn't win the match and in the end the result was a draw with a score of 2-2.

Yes, Valencia's last match against Getafe certainly makes it difficult for us to conclude who will win in the next match against Villarreal because Villarreal's performance has improved recently and won in matches such as beating Betis and Real Sociedad, but in the match against Getafe the result was 1-1 draw. while Valencia in their last match managed to beat Getafe so I am sure that in the next match Hugo Duro and his friends will show their best performance and will win the match and I want to bet on Valencia winning.

Real Madrid faced Valencia and the result sadly was less expected to some extent. They're a good side, aiming for the La Liga title and prospect UCL champions too and they ought to have been able to live up to expectation but the game ended in a draw and for Valencia, it was a well deserved and expected result. They couldn't risk loosing to Real Madrid as it'd have jeopardized their opportunity to secure a right spot on the La Liga table. Real Madrid are just having sloppy performances in the past weeks and it's threatening to their progress this season. They sure didn't give Madrid the chance to capitalize on their weaknesses, they proved again to be very much competitive.

The same tempo was put in their encounter against Getafe and they sure were able to secure the three points even though the goal margin was very much little. It's still something to boast of considering their efforts all time this season. Villarreal on the other hand has had quite an eventful season so far, even though their wins haven't been so consistent, but at least, it's something that's worthwhile. They aren't much of a heavy weight side in the Spanish league tho and even though they can be a threat, it's just a little amount of it. Yes they won against big Barcelona and that game result was only to motivate them better ahead of the home game against Getafe. They played host against Getafe and even though the visitors were also a competitive team, it was expected that they as the host should have what it takes more to overpower their visitors.

But best for both teams, the game ended in a draw which I sure do know that neither of them played for that result. They both wanted a push up the table and so they had every reason to play hard to secure it all. Judging by these two teams result against Getafe, it's actually a determinant as to how their encounter with themselves would turn out. The two teams are safely in thesame range of performance no doubt and definitely they'd put up thesame level of strength when they face each other. Although Valencia all time seems to be the upper handed side but Villarreal can still comfortably counter their approaches. Fairly, the game should end in a draw but let's see how it'll be decided on the pitch.
689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 13, 2024, 08:58:21 PM

Things could be very different if bayern gave permission for Naglessmann to run the club for much longer. This is a serious mistake made by this club. Bayern must have learned a lot from the mistakes made in the middle of last season when the club was sackiong naglesmann to be replaced by tuchel, when the club forced Naglesmann to leave the club. It also contributed significantly to the club's poor performance till this time. Byaern was able to win multiple trophies last season if naglesmann was not sacked, but it was only lucky because Dortmund missed the final game and it saved tuchel from being sacked even early. Bayern needs to transition from a bad coach to a good coach. Xabi Alonso has played in Bayern for a long time, and I believe he fully understands the club.
This is also my main reason for predicting that if he leaves Leverkusen to join Bayern, he will most likely do so in the future. Bayern must ensure that the club has a good coach who can perform better than the previous coaches, who have only turned the club into another flop.
It will be disastrous for Bayern if they sign the wrong coach again and club shall not repeat it again. Enough is enough for Bayern to be managed by a bad coach and it must move on, and the club requires someone who can play the game properly. I hope Bayern Munich will consider Xabi Alonso. Seriously, this guy is an excellent fit for the club and bayern needs to approach him as soon as possible.
He lacks experience, but Xabi knows Bayern very well, and I am confident he will achieve success with the club soon only if bayern munich will able to recruit him asap. Things are changing so quickly.

I believe he's still got good plans for the German team, which will still be manifested good.

Well it'll only be fair and an added advantage to the German club if their hit maker coach stays the next season with them to keep up with the positive differences he's trying impart to the club. Tuchel's presence in the team ought to make a significant impact to their endeavors all time and also Kane's performance needed to add a big advantage to them but so far, their recent games have turned out opposite of their normal and expected performance rate. It'll only mean that their journey this season to a top spot is threatened and no one can say exactly if they'll be able to scale through it. They've not been encouraging and it's quite appaling that they remain depreciated week after week.

Sadly though, Tuchel's stay in the club is seemingly threatened, his days are actually numbered and it's understandable that the management would want a switch for the coach position as they expected him to be better considering how much effort his put in recent times and even with flaws, they need not to keep overlooking it as it's unending. Well it'll only task them to find a proper hand that'll replace Tuchel's as so far they need not to take their chances and cause this to continue unto the next season. Alonso is being quested for and if they're able to secure him, well, hopefully he'll be able to take them out of the state they are. His records are speaking for him and so it's understandable that they see him as a proper prospect for the job ahead in the club.
690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 13, 2024, 08:44:42 PM

Currently, Juventus' performance is a bit disappointing because they have lost the opportunity to regain the title they have always won, even though they have a very big opportunity to win the league but Juventus are not able to take advantage of it well and are actually getting further away from Inter Milan who are at the top standings. I don't know what's wrong with Juventus this season. The mentality of the Juventus players doesn't seem to have the motivation to have the ambition to win the league title. They seem to play like players in general. We can see from the total goals scored by Juventus this season, they are not really like the Juventus we have known for a long time this is with the strong performance they have had over the years.

Indeed, seeing the appearance of Inter Milan, who seems to be playing very well this season, makes it a little difficult for Juventus to compete, but that doesn't mean that Juventus can't because if Juventus continues to put pressure on Inter Milan then Juventus still has a chance to win the title, but instead they lose points in several matches so making the distance with Inter Milan even further and now Juventus no longer has the opportunity to catch up, and currently Juventus' position is in 3rd place because the previous position has been taken over by Milan because Juventus only achieved a draw against Atalanta while Milan themselves took advantage of that moment to achieve victory and overtake Juventus.
The season hasn't been quite adventurous for Juventus as they've been indicted to not taking part in the Europa League. They've been focusing their strength on the domestic Serie A league and they've been doing excellently well in it. They've even got a greater chance of being far ahead in the standings than the likes of Inter Milan because for others, after the league games, they'd still have to play the continental tournament and this will definitely affect players' physical capabilities too.

Although, in as much as a lengthy gap is expected of them, Inter Milan has made it difficult because they've also been in their best form. At thesame time, it'll not be hard to stay in shape to earn a ticket to next season's European contests. They've been able to play resiliently and the results so far is fit to help them earn this ticket but the difficulty they may face this season is the trophy of the Serie A, the top contenders won't let it slip away from them, they're in their own way and end putting streanous efforts to ensure that they get the maximum number of points to keep the gaps and help them win the trophy.

There's really no time to make a difference but they themselves know it's not going to be as easy as it ought to be considering the intensity in games this season. Inter Milan are ahead with a reasonable point gap and undeniably, they're are proving to keep up with consistencies which if met, Juventus no matter what won't be able to catch up to them. Inter Milan are faced with the European contest and for Juventus, they've still got extra time to prepare ahead for the league games.

It is very natural that Borussia Dortmund can win by only playing with 10 people because in reality the club that is their opponent in the match is not too tough an opponent. This season, Borussia Dortmund has shown a lot of decline and it is very unfortunate because they can no longer compete to become champions like last season. This season their position was replaced by Leverkusen and interestingly Leverkusen could even be better than them when competing for the title.

The next week will be more difficult for Borussia Dortmund because they will face a better club than their previous opponents, yes, that is Frankfurt who are also trying to break into the top 4 this season. They are only behind with a gap of 7 points, of course victory is the main target for Frankfurt because it will make their gap even closer, even though there is still Leipzig who is above them with a distance of 6 points. Borussia must prepare themselves to receive the attacks that Frankfurt will carry out, because in my opinion it is very likely that they will come out attacking in this match.
Dortmund in previous seasons have been very much active and eager to chase the trophy. Although at the moment the chase isn't off, they've still got every chance in store to prove themselves. They've had scaly strides from the start of the season up till now, they've managed to scale through in the UCL, no one knows their fate in the next round but there's certainty that there's difference in their performances now and then too. They're a good team that just needs to find back their balance, there confidence level has dropped big and corrections needs to be made soon enough too.

There's no time out to let go off winning chances, it'll keep drawing them back. Overtime, they've had good players in the team going off to other clubs and making wave which only notes that they're a team that builds and carves up players to be exceedingly top notch in performance. And it's acceptable that there are still players in the team that currently are capable of keeping the team ahead. Frankfurt hosted Hoffenheim over the weekend and the game ended with a convincing victory even though with very little margin of goals in favor of Frankfurt. The host has this season been a good competitor to teams and they've sometimes strived to surprise big teams too. They're a good side and they've been able to stay in shape in the league too even though not much of a buoyant stand on the league table.

One would expect that there'll be a heavy difference in their performances and this would cause them to finish very much well in a couple of weeks to come but as it stands, their performance rate so far has been fair and it's best they stay at that pace. Few weeks left and not much impact can be made other than maintaining the tempo and not going below it. Their next league encounter with Dortmund is anticipated too and the odds are shaky as both teams have in the passing weeks being a bit consistent at thesame level of performances. The final league result for the season is very much crucial to teams and they need not to cause any form of jeopardy in the process to it.
692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 13, 2024, 08:13:42 PM

We haven't seen who the opponents they will face in the quarter-finals are, but what is clear is that the opponents they will face are much stronger than the opponents they faced in the round of 16. With facts like that, it is very clear that they have to prepare themselves as best as possible before playing their match in the Champions League quarter-finals. They can do rotations in Ligue 1, because in Ligue 1 they are quite safe and they can avoid the risk of injury by resting some of their players for the Champions League matches.

Every season, winning the Champions League is the main target for Paris Saint Germain, but unfortunately they always fail. They are not that strong when competing in the Champions League which is occupied by the best teams from the top leagues in Europe, so their task is not like in Ligue 1 where they can dominate the league freely. In my opinion, their mentality in the Champions League is still not very well formed, because one of the factors that will influence a team's game is mentality.
Mbappe is one big player who’s set to make wave when he completes his move to Real Madrid which is hos dream club as he’s been on this transfer for over two seasons. He’s now set to leave PSG and he’s leaving for free. This is a big loss to the French club and yes Enrique in his wisdom knows the effect of learning to play without him early and that’s what I think is going down as even Luis also made the statement after he was subbed off against Monaco 2 weeks ago.

Yes a lot might argue and think Enrique is doing this to keep him in shape for the UCL, but I don’t see this as true though even if I know how much Enrique is using all strategies to see if the club can get anything at UCL stage. Well the sub yes, is having effects as you can see they’re not performing optimally without Kylian. I think every change needs time to get effective and this kind of change will sure get effective and I know Enrique knows what’s best for the club as he’s a great tactical coach.  Not using him for league matches is because he’s already won the league and knows he’s in a safe place with him trying to play without Kylian.

We know how much players like Kylian to add to a team and how much it could mean if this thing tried by Enrique backfires, well I think the fans should understand and give him some breathing space as he’s doing this for the future as that’s the bigger picture in this method being used by the coach. Getting a replacement might be pretty hard, so what’s best is trying to make all the players involved and it’s great he’s trying it very early and as such I’m fully in support of Enrique and any decision he takes.

The picture is indeed great so I wanted to share in a post of mine also.  Cheesy

I have seen the current odds for the PL championship like this:

- Manchester City - 2.10
- Liverpool - 3.00
- Arsenal - 3.50

Arsenal are in the lead maybe but they are the team with least chance given. Wouldn't it actually be nice to bet on Liverpool or Arsenal with some money now to make the remaining match weeks more exciting to follow?  Grin  I wouldn't bet on Manchester City while I'm wishing to not see them being the champions.  Tongue
We’re now approaching the final games of the EPL and we have just one point separating the 3 teams who’re in a race for the EPL title and this we must say is a very big credit to the league superiority in Europe. This kind of close points makes all team be on their toes and want to be better than the other. This is the kind of competition I wish other league across Europe will try to have as this is what makes a league fierce and also as the league gets fierce, clubs in the league will be forced to sit up and try to achieve something or build their squad well to be able to challenge.

After the draw at Anfield against Manchester City , the final 10 games for the EPL will be week in and out full of excitement for football lovers especially. As Liverpool are tied on points to Arsenal and are separated by just goal difference and both teams leading city with just 1 point. City have won 5 of the last 6 league titles and they were interrupted by Liverpool’s triumph in 19/20 season. In 18/19 and 21/22 season, we saw this kind of fierceness playing out and City got the league with a 1 point gap to Klopp’s Liverpool.

This season they have both been at loggerheads at both ends of their matches with Klopp leaving at the end of the season, his H2H record against Pep stands at 6 wins to 5 with 7 draws between them. Both teams have performed excellently in this 2nd half of the season but City have scored more goals. Liverpool major regret is going to be the draw at Anfield to city and loss to Arsenal. Arsenal have shown massive improvement as to how they performed last year when they lost the chase for the league. With all these points, Liverpool are my favorites to win the league again this season and I think with 3 more matches to go, then it’ll be clear victory for Liverpool.
694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 13, 2024, 04:04:28 PM

These three teams are in their best performance and are on their best trend. Even though several Liverpool players were injured, Klopp was able to overcome them. The real proof, when facing Man City, they were able to hold a draw even though Man City appeared at full strength. Arsenal this season seems to have learned from last season, they don't want to be careless again in the remaining matches this season. All opponents should not be underestimated.

Looking at the current EPL league standings, this season the EPL league is very tense and every week's matches are important for the three teams. Moreover, the competition involves three teams, Arsenal Liverpool and Man City, the slightest mistake could be a disaster, losing or drawing will definitely affect the players' mentality. This season's EPl League could be said to be very interesting, not only is the fight for the EPL league trophy, but the fight for 4th place for UCL tickets is also no less exciting, namely between Aston Villa and Tottenham. and Manchester United.
The EPL being talked about as the best league across Europe still holds enough value especially as the competition to winning the league is always very fierce season in and out. This season is having no exception as we see how teams are real struggling to win that league. We’ve seen teams like Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool all testing no. 1 spot in the league and we can see how changes occurred in spots after every match week. The season is coming to an end with About 10 matches to go and our title challenge is slimmed down to 3 teams.

Yes Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City as these 3 teams have been able to keep up the challenge level and try to gather maximum points to still be in the challenge for the league. This is what makes a league look very fierce and as such makes the team very tough across Europe. Looking at these 3 teams, you’ll see that both Liverpool and City have all been hit with injuries and that to an extent affected the team’s performance in one way or the other. The tactical level of these coaches have been tested more especially with these injuries and they still managed to still come out top.

With about 10 matches to go, I think the league still has everything to play for especially Arsenal who’re just leading the league with about 6-7 goal difference. All thanks to the very productive attack of this Arsenal squad that helped the team in scoring over 30+ goals in 7 matches. Any mistake at this point will result in that team dropping points and that could mean bye bye to getting the league. At this point, I’ll have to say this that I’m backing Liverpool majorly because they’re favorites as compared to Arsenal who still have some big fixtures to play and I’m worried if they’ll be able to get maximum 3 points in all of the remaining 10 fixtures. Liverpool are favorites to end city’s dominance and this will be a perfect farewell gift to JK who’s set to leave at the end of the season.
695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: March 13, 2024, 03:38:11 PM

To be honest, even one match from last night's match didn't live up to my expectations. but as a supporter I am quite happy, in the end Arsenal was able to move on to the next phase. one of these teams is my favorite team that competed last night. no different from Barcelona, one of my favorite teams in La Liga. Barcelona was lucky against Napoli, because if they played against another team their probability would be very low. that doesn't mean Napoli is a bad team, but their performance is more unstable than Barcelona. last night's match, only Barcelona matched my predictions. for Arsenal, I initially thought there would be at least three goals in the normal 90 minutes. however, this is football.

Talking about Real Madrid, I actually don't want to say what you said. although, I also feel that Madrid did not show their best performance in this competition. but what is certain is that I am absolutely sure that Don Carlo really knows and is aware of his squad, both in terms of weaknesses and weaknesses. well, because Real Madrid didn't play a good game against Leipzig, that doesn't mean they will play the same when they meet their opponents in the next phase. at least as a seasoned coach with a wealth of experience, Ancelotti will do what is best for his squad. moreover, Real Madrid has a winning mentality as an elite team in this competition. Let's see how Don Carlo takes his team when they play in this competition.
The UCL is now shaping up and we’re having about 6 teams already secured a spot in the UCL last 8. The competition is now getting very fierce as we now have some top teams in the last 8. This is a norm in every competition Beacause as the competition grows fierce, some top teams will be let put due to silly mistakes and this is always an occurrence in every UCL stage. As the competition slims down to the final, we always have that one team we look to be the winner.

My main team who I’m rooting so much for is Real Madrid. This team despite not having a great 2nd leg in the UCL Round of 16 against Liepzig already shown how much of a strong squad they can be, they have the squad depth and the required determination from the players. You can’t also deny the fact that their coach, Ancelotti is a tactical genius and is very good when it comes to European competitions. At their current state, I think not even Man City will be able to stop them.

Yes this is because of the pressure Man City is facing in the English League as they’re in a fierce competition with Liverpool and Arsenal and it’s unlike last season that they were already leading the league with comfortable 6-8 points when they faced each other. Talking abput Arsenal too, I’m also worried for them because with their performance yesterday, then I think they might be eliminated after this last 8 stage and might not be able to go through to the last 4. Real Madrid, Man City and Inter Milan still remains the top 3 clubs on the radar and I have huge confidence on Real Madrid being able to win this trophy even though I’m a strong supporter of English football. I can’t just ignore the works and tactics of Don Carlo as his tactics is very capable of taking any team down.

Al-Nassr already has good front line players. Even their level of goal productivity is also worthy of appreciation. but unfortunately their back lines are very different. Yes, Al-Nassr has a fatal weakness at the back. So they often fail to win matches simply because their opponents are always able to penetrate Al-Nassr's defense and score goals.

Even statistically it is clear that there is an imbalance between defense and attack. Where the attack line is very good but the back line is very bad. Just look, currently Al-Nassr is the second team that has scored the most goals, namely 65 goals so far in the SPL. Al-hilal is still in first place in terms of scoring goals with 70 goals. And yeah it's only 5 different from al-Nassr. But now we look at the number of goals scored against Al-Nassr. In fact, that is the same number as clubs that are considered not strong this season. So the problem here is in their defense.
A football team consists of different departments and each departments have to function above average to be considered as a great team. This is also effective in every organization and that’s why at each time there’s always An evaluation done. The same is required in a football team who have different departments especially among the 11 players on the field. It’s always in appropriate when one department of the football team seems not to be performing.

This makes the performance of the other departments looks as if they’re meaningless and most times go unnoticeable. This is the case for Al-Nassr who just got eliminated from the Asian Champions League. This elimination of Al-Nassr speaks quite a lot on how this team is placed and checking it, you wouldn’t want to blame the attack of the this team because they delivered on their duty but rather the defense line is the major challenge of this team. And when the defense of a team is poor, it makes the whole team be in shambles.

Yea, I think a small club without much training will be able to take on this Al-Nassr’s defense and destroy it. This should be a consideration for the current coach or maybe the new coach who’ll decide to come in. Even when you check them out in their league, yes you wouldn’t help but to see the work of the attackers because they’ve had over 65 goals scored for the team which is very commendable. When you check the goals conceded, then you understand there’s a major problem in this team. If the defense issue of this team is fixed then I think they’ll be one great team to challenge for the SPL title and I guess then they could even win the league too.

PSG's position at the top of the standings can no longer be disturbed by other teams in Ligue 1 because by collecting 56 points it can be ascertained that the league trophy and also one Champions League ticket are theirs, the competition at PSG has actually long ended in the fight for rank 1 and as usual PSG remains firmly at the top of the standings, currently an interesting competition only occurs between ranks 2 and 6 in the standings in grabbing the remaining two automatic tickets to qualify for the Champions League and also One playoff ticket.

So far there are still 5 teams competing namely brest (2), monaco (3), lille (4), lens (5), and Nice who are ranked 6, at this time maybe many of us think Nice have been out of competition due to their poor performance in recent weeks, but in fact they are currently still very strong 6th place with 40 points and only 6 points behind brest, I think by being 1 or 2 points apart from one team to another, it is certain that the competition for Champions League tickets is certainly very interesting than seeing PSG run alone towards the championship trophy this season in Ligue 1.

The season started and some teams showed greAt strengths on how they can perform especially giving PSG some challenges and we thought we’ll be seeing a big threat to PSG dominance. Well poor formation of the club has resulted in this team dropping down to around 5th. PSG still remains very dominant of the league and is leading the league with over 10 points with about 12 matches to go to end the league. This is one reason why this league is considered a farmers league because the competition to throw off psg as league champions isn’t there.

This season we are throwing our light there as we’re having one interesting competition of who will be going to the UCL next season happening there. We can see how the teAms between 2nd to 5th are having similar points. This is the kind of competition we wish would be happening between league leaders PSG And other clubs to end it’s dominance but it’s quite impressive as it’s a step in the right direction. One thing the clubs must do is after this kind of challenge, they should brace themselves up for next season as they can be able to deal with PSG and challenge for the title.

For the battle for the UCL spot it’s quite a fierce one and I have my predictions on who will join. I also have to say that the teams after getting the ticket, they should endeavor on building a great squad that will be able to challenge in that competition. The teams that are good to go through are Brest and either Monaco or Lille. Either Monaco or Lille or both of them will be great participants of the UCL next season and they have the experience too and I hope them being in the Ucl Will be a boost for them to build a great squad next season. As building a great squad will also help them to challenge Psg for the league title next season.

I see a complicated problem where Al-Nassr's chances are uncertain, especially after conceding 2 goals first, making them much more under pressure and making the aggregate difference to 0-3 from Al-Ain. But fortunately, before the first half was over, Ghareeb scored a goal which made the position 1-2 and again cut the aggregate to 1-3. Here it is clear that Al-Nassr are still 2 goals short of equalizing the aggregate position and what happened surprised me where they were able to make a comeback and managed to win within 90 minutes with a score of 3-2 which made the aggregate equal to 3-3 so it had to be continued to extra time.

It didn't stop there, the two teams scored another goal in extra time which made the aggregate score end at 4-4 and here Ronaldo scored the deciding goal to take the match to a penalty shootout. But unfortunately Al-Nassr's efforts from the first half to the penalty shootout felt in vain because they had to be eliminated from the penalty shootout against Al-Ain after 3 of their players, namely Brozovic, Telles and Otavio, failed to execute the penalty and only Ronaldo succeeded in taking the kick.

Al-Ain assured progress to the next round of the Asian Champions League after going through the drama of the match against Al-Nassr and it must be admitted that they are a difficult opponent for Al-Nassr in this competition. I can't believe that there are so many miracles that the drama that occurred in Al-Nassr failed to progress to the next stage.
Ronaldo and teammates crash out of the Asian Champions League in quaterfinals after they lost on penalties to Al-Ain despite Ronaldo pulling a come back. This can be very painful especially for Ronaldo who’s still in search of a title at Saudi Arabia. Al-Nassr went into the game trailing by a goal defeat they incured in the first leg, they came very confident in this second leg but were met with early goals again by Al-Ain thereby increasing the aggregate to 0-3. This was a big one but the motivation between the Al-Nassr players never went low as they made efforts.

Al-Nassr pulled of one back moment just before half time to get a goal in this match as Sadio Mane’s goal helped to up the confidence of this Al-Nassr side. They came into the 2nd half and were very hard with the attack. This sure paid off for them as they aimed at the goalkeeper with wide shots and in the 51st minute they had another goal with brought the aggregate to 2-3 and they were still very much in the game. Ronaldo made a big miss but that still didn’t draw down the determination of this team.

Talisca got a freekick amd scored the goal in 72nd minute that got them all leveled up and have completed a comeback . The final whistle came and they went straight into extra time. In the extra time, their player got a red card and that was a huge loss as they were dropped to 10 men which is a player short Al-Ain squad and trust  Ain to take advantage of this and get a goal from open play in about 15 minutes lett to play. It seemed all lost for Al-Nassr till Ronaldo was brought down in the box and he was able to convert within the last 3 minutes. Al-Nassr had 3 players lose out on the penalty shootouts and this was real bad as Al-Ain had a good shootout and were able to go through.

I think Liverpool really learned how to beat Manchester City by shutting down Haaland throughout the game, I saw when there is a team that can trouble Manchester City is when that team can keep Haalan's movement tight, I quite remember when during the Arsenal vs Manchester City match in the first game of the season when Saliba managed to keep Haalaand tight and Haalaand was even quite frustrated because he couldn't score In that match and finally made Arsenal win 1-0, the same thing we saw also in last night's match how Van Djik managed to kill Haaland's movement and even Van Djik managed to stick and disturb Haaland when Haaland was only left one-on-one with Kelleher.

Looking at the game of the two teams yesterday obviously a draw is a fair result for both teams, I think now we will see the competition for the championship will be tighter because the three teams only have 1 point difference between them, the three teams still have a chance to change positions especially in the next two weeks another bigmatch match will also occur again in the Premier League between Manchester City and Arsenal.
Erling who is the main man for this Manchester City was bought at a great fee and all through last season, we saw him disturbing the league as he ended the season with over 50 goals + as compared to how quiet he’s being this season. This is his 2nd season at the club and he’s having just about 18 goals with over 28 matches.Well he’s having very low stat even though to an extent we can put much of the blame on the injury which sidelined him out for over 2 months. Against Liverpool during the weekend, the forward was once again kept quiet as he had just one shot and about 21-22 touched in the game which is very poor for his kind of player.

This now brings us to heaping praises on the defense line of Liverpool and we feel that the major player in the Liverpool defense is Virgil Van Dijk who we saw at some occasions always making sure Erling doesn’t get his way in that match. He was a colossus and came out on top against Erling and he real earned the praises of him being a better defender than Erling is a forward. The rest of the Liverpool backline deserves her praises too as we saw how they managed to make sure the Man City attackers like Phil and KDB doesn’t have their usual way around like they always did. This alone was a big effort from the defense of Liverpool and is worthy of commendation.

I think Liverpool still remains the only team who’s got the strength to be able to make this Man City team struggle to get possession of the ball, maintain the possession or create something off their possession. Klopp will greatly be missed especially in matches like this in future especially if an experienced coach isn’t brought to take charge. The draw was worth is as both teams showed real strength and determination on how much they both needed the points in this game and as such were able t share points which now means more pressure for Arsenal as the league challenge is still very open between the 3 teams.
700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: March 12, 2024, 04:56:31 PM

English soccer structure is also the biggest problem for the many teams while they usually fail to give their best in UEFA events and their performance is never been ideal in these events even they are having enough quality same happening with Brighton which is good club but sadly fail to give their best in UEFA Europa League and concede 4 goals into their first leg game in Rome with now most chances they will be not able to give performance which will bring them back into this event here usually English teams are happy to give their best in domestic cups with these are much profitable and manageable for them instead of going into UEFA.

We have West Ham which is doing good for the years and having good success as well, but we need same level performance from the many others which will surely increase their quality and give them better results as well but for this all we need few changes into their structure as well.
As it stands, the team would have to find a major focus and personally, I'd suggest that they put in more strength to the UEL as they've been able to gain grounds in the EPL even if not solid as it ought to considering the intensity of the league. The EPL is competitive too and so focus should be put in it but the UEL trophy to me would actually have more worth than the EPL. The UEL journey may not necessarily be stressful for them as Liverpool tends to be better than the teams in the tournament, their tough counterpart will definitely be Leverkusen because they've had more or less same domestic league results as Liverpool and the team is everly eager to strive to win games and they're aiming for the trophy.

It's good that the both of them are in the same condition and then also have the same goal and target in the domestic and continental tournaments too. This is an entirely different opinion for middle classed teams in the EPL too, they don't have as much competitive strength and power as the big teams in the league to face continental contests. Yes so far they've been able to match the intensity that the UEL and UCL brings but all thesame, their odds to succeed in it are very much less.

The continental competition only gives them the experience they'd need for futuristic goals and plans. It's not a mere or shade talk but in the EPL, even in its competitive nature, there are teams that can't stand the intensity of the continental contests. Well, it's only a matter of time before they gradually build up to the standard of the big teams. Goodnews is that they're striving to stay relevant regardless so far this season and it's an optimistic approach towards a big aim for the teams.
