This isn't a trading thread per say. I've just been doing a lot of thinking lately about the state of BTC or crypto in general, and have found myself drifting into negativity regarding certain groups. Damn generalizations creeping in and harshly judging people without digging deeper - today it's the trading side of crypto.
So diving in, I am in the Pro "spend what you can when you can camp" ( No different than anything I still feel one needs to have some portion of savings) I think if we aren't spending crypto to encourage businesses to adopt it where is the endgame. I also feel like a lot of the crypto rich have abandoned creating a market environment for one that really only benefits "gains". There are so many trading platforms out there when you compare against say online marketplaces; or even attempts at marketplaces. My only issue really comes down to how does trading benefit the overall BTC and crypto ecosystem if trading is the only activity users are performing with their coins.
I'm not saying it's entirely bad. Trading has helped bring a lot of people seeking profits into the space, but are they doing anything else? So I'd like to know what you do with your trading gains, does it just roll into a larger bag, do you sell and cash out in Fiat, or are you trying to also spend coins when the opportunity presents itself. I'm open to all opinions, as I'm sure many people here see things differently. I've just had thoughts that this aspect of the overall economy has developed disproportionately to the marketplace portion, and feel it has a net negative effect.
Traders should spend their profits and enjoy their profits or use the profits to solve their financial worries. For this purpose they must convert some of bitcoins into local currency. Some people keep on investing the profit again and again in new trades to increase their portfolio but i do not think this is right. Because if the trader few trades goes wrong, the profit earned before could turn into loss very quickly. |

OP is stealing a bunch of these websites courses and reselling them. It definitely makes him a piece of shit and I'd never support someone doing that. That being said, the content being offered has insane value and the people saying you can learn to be a pro from Youtube videos are wrong.
How can you say so that OP is stealing and then selling the courses here ? If you have any proof, then you should tell us here. I have a question from OP. Whether these Poker courses teach you strategies to win the games or they tell you the details on how to play the games ? |

Both mentioned merit giveaways are dedicated for low rank accounts [full member and below] and should be run out by now.
Most of the merit giveaway threads are for Members and low ranked. There are very few giveaways for Sr. Member and above. People think that Low rank members requires more merit than the higher ranks, which is not right. Merits should be given on the basis of good posts and not on the basis of low ranked good posts. |

The way you are thinking to get the merits , you will end up with none merit. Getting merits is not easy and begging merits is even more worse. I am sure when you will get few or less merits in few weeks, you will leave and give up. The best thing for a newbie is to learn and write without thinking about the merits and ranks. This way you will be able to rank up much quickly and also you will be able to write better and natural, when merits are not at the back of your mind. |

I could understand everything written which is rather more than can be said for many a poster. As long as I'm not left scratching my head I'm not bothered if someone's English is a bit broken. the server of the website is used for multiple websites by many websites that appear to be scammers.
This mean that if any site is offering NO KYC, we should be more careful as they can scam by attracting customers on this NO KYC thing and then scam later once they got a lot of customers. Hey I'm back. haven't been on the forum for 1.5 yrs. Been on Twitter. But yeh 2019 was a good year for me in crypto. 1. I had too much in alt coins ,tron, and didn't gain much of it. My stack went all the way up. From btc. Then I saw my stack crashed down lol. It was amazing. But yeh still got a chunk back from hodling in 2017. I have been buying the whole year from 11k down. Little by little. I stayed for the 2020, 100k price well that didn't happen. Let's see the halvening now. Also stayed for the 1 million price prediction. I feel stocks is running n gunning at a good pace. But I'm still stacking satoshis.
The good thing is that you collected lots of bitcoins in different price ranges below 11K. I hope you bought majority of the coins between 7- 8K and keep on holding them. I see that 7000-7200$ is the bottom for bitcoin and it will remain above this price. Halving and other events may pump the price so you are in a good position to grab the profits in near future. |

I often hear people quoting that some country (most of the times China) is positive towards blockchain and are thinking to using it in their country, so they are also positive towards Bitcoin.
This is just a myth. To be honest Bitcoin and Blockchain are separable. Blockchain can sustain without crypto but crypto cannot without blockchain.
In recent times Bitcoin moved from 7k range to more than 10k may be with the news of China president talking about blockchain. Then people were saying that China is positive towards crypto but things were not that good. And now things are on the same page again.
So burst this myth that where blockchain is Bitcoin will also be there.
More strange thing is why people relate bitcoin development with china adoption ? The thing is that even if china is negative about bitcoins ,this should have no effect on the bitcoin price and market. Bitcoin is independent of china adoption and should not be influenced by it. |

We dont know if this would have snowball effect and be considered with other countries as well but i would say that this wont really be
good into their sight.
This percentage for taxation is not realistic by any means and no business can be run which they know that they have to give this much big amount as a tax. If the governments wants everyone to pay the tax they should lower the taxable percentage else either no one will pay the tax or gambling business will just die away as no one will be starting this business in dutch. |

Everyone is do believe in bitcoin and still investing. the price of bitcoin will never vanish because bitcoin is the only one investment that any of us will earn too much money, unlike gold that still in stable price. if we didn't reach to new ATH them it is not a big deal, we can aim it in other years if we practice patient always. it will happen again if everyone recognize bitcoin. Even if bitcoin does not reach all time high again, i will not be disappointed because i have already made a lot of profits from the trading. Also if you compare all the bitcoins and altcoins, you will see that bitcoin is the only major digital currency and no altcoins didn't even came close to bitcoins. So there is major chance that bitcoin will cross its all time high again sooner. |

This will happen not only in theory but also practically. If you have seen the last two halving you will clearly know how the bitcoin prices moves after the halving. If you were not known to bitcoins from that time, just watch the charts for 2013 and 2017. These two years were the true bull run years and both bull happened after sometime after the halving. Everyone is excepting the same this time also. |

There is a certain point why people do gambling. Most of the time, people gamble just for leisure and not just to make money "which I don't think it's a good idea". As for my own, I gamble during my free time but if I am too busy, I set aside gambling to free my mind on what to prioritize. If your purpose is not earning money, then it s better you spend your free time in games which do not involve money. Why you want to take the risk when you even don't need any financial benefits from money. I think the primary purpose of gambling is to make money and i do not feel anything wrong with it. |

In my experience only Americans believe that number 13 is an unlucky number. That is not something that is common in many parts of the world. Most people know about it from movies and the stories surrounding Friday the 13th.
Someone mentioned there is no Floor #13 in buildings. This is true.
When I stayed in US hotels you would have floors 11, 12, 14, 15 etc. And also no room #13 anywhere.
So whats the reason for this ? There must be a series of unpleasant events associated with the number 13 and you exclude them from the floor numbering. But again we still have 13th day in a month, so that will be an unlucky day ? I do not believe in superstitions but need to know how true are the people believes on such things. |
