I've noticed something interesting, mods will take down individual responses to threads I flag as spam bumps but so far have not taken action against the OP even though they were mentioned here in the past multiple times and proven to be using a spam bumping service. Threads are deleted only rarely. However, mods act quickly when it comes to delete posts reported for such spam. I deleted all the first posts made yesterday and all are already deleted. Now I reported also the ones made meanwhile. |

As far as I understand, this was done in order to save space in the navigation bar. I understand the reason but, however, this will not help too much if other translations will appear, right? In any case, I think there's still a lot of space remaining for not using those abbreviations and also for future translations to be listed. After watching all the past days (weeks?), I've really tried to give Ratimov the benefit of doubt here that the whole issue will be settled in a nice way. But after these past actions, it's pretty clear that the outcome is not satisfying and as a logical conclusion, I've no different choice from distrusting ~Ratimov. There are just too many incidents. But what do you think about miners? Aren’t they that very third party which only wants a sat from any possible transaction? I see professional mining as a move away from the concept of intermediary-free transactions. I would prefer a digital cash system where every user is also a miner. Nobody stops you from being a miner. And no, miners are not third parties. They are part of the core of Bitcoin's functionality. |
