Hi all!

Can anyone tell me why I often see Litecoin Giveaways on Twitter?

Because scammers never sleep Wink
702  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] KRAKEN.COM - Exchange with USD EUR GBP JPY CAD BTC LTC XRP NMC XDG STR ETH on: February 02, 2018, 09:06:58 AM

Never had any delays with EUR myself. Same or next business day every single time.

Once I'm actually able to login into the site and click my way through the withdrawal process. This part that used to take a minute or two can now take the better part of a day. Truly legendary!

Hi Totscha. I'm sorry to hear that there's an issue with clicking through our website. Could you please open a ticket here and decribe the issue in as much detail as you can? Please also escalate your ticket using this form. Thank you for letting us know.

It's nothing a support ticket will solve. It has everything to do with intermittent performance/availability issues your website still faces. I'll grant you that it has gotten a lot better since the upgrade but it is still not reliable. A far cry from the performance of Kraken I enjoyed back in 2013.

The thing is, you have this security feature that prevents me from reloading a page using F5. So when I get a 5xx error I have to reload the previous page first by pressing back. Then I have to pray that page loads and then click on the button for the next page. So when the chance of getting a 5xx error is 50% you have to try this back and forth action dozens of times before you get a lucky streak and are able to advance one page forward. To be able to go through 5 pages (Funding>Withdraw>EUR>Enter details>Confirm) without an error is practically a miracle during these times.

Kraken down when you just have open short position around the bottom. Reminds me of 6 months ago when a flash crash happened where a lot of people lost everything due to account liquidation.
If this happens again, I'm going to join the law suit as well. You better have disabled all trading and positions. Totally unacceptable.

Any half decent exchange would halt all trading until they are able to provide a decent service. They just say: "Our TOS clearly states that you hold all risk using our service. We never promised anything is actually going to work."

My USD withdrawal is still processing after an entire week. It has never taken this long. I submitted a support ticket a few days ago and haven't heard anything back.

If this will be a regular thing please let me know so I can switch to a different exchange.

This exchange has issues since quite a while already, it looks like they have no intention to solve them any time soon Undecided

Well it was earlier this month it only took 1-2 days for my withdrawal. All last year it only took 1-3 days.

Never had any delays with EUR myself. Same or next business day every single time.

Once I'm actually able to login into the site and click my way through the withdrawal process. This part that used to take a minute or two can now take the better part of a day. Truly legendary!

Somewhere I saw information, I do not remember where that the fork of this coin is expected soon. Anybody on this occasion knows nothing?

There is always a chance that someone will make a fork of any coin. I haven't however noticed anything worth mentioning being planned. There are about 3 scams per week claiming to be a fork of LTC, but I tend to ignore those.

That being said, there is a SOFT fork of Litecoin planned to reduce the transaction fees. But a soft fork is a non-event. There is no chance for the chain to actually split in two.

Still purchasing empty LTC addresses that were in use on May 12, 2014!

https://freebitcoins.com/clamchecker/dig/

Hi, can't get it. What is the sense in  buying  empty LTC addresses that were in use on May 12, 2014. What have I missed that time?

https://freebitcoins.com/faq/

TL;DR
"Clamcoin was initially distributed to every Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Dogecoin address that had non-dust funds on May 12, 2014. Each qualifying BTC, LTC and DOGE address was given 4.60545574 CLAMS free regardless of the address's balance, as long as it was above a "dust" (an amount too small to use) threshold."

Hi everybody,
I think I made a bad mistake, can you help me clarify this, It may help new BitcoinZ miner too.
I only had experience with ethereum and nicehash so I'm not aware of the "t and z" address principle...
I mine around 1000 coin on a "t" address generated by the Wallet 1.1.0.4 but I don't see the coin even if they are confirmed...
I have read that freshly mined coin should be mine to 'z' address, but when I try, the server doesn't accept the address.
Coinomi address seems to be 't' type too.
Can someone help me to clarify that please.
Thank you,
I'd like to continue mining on this project, and contribute in a pool that donate...

Just an idea. Do you wait for the wallet to sync the blockchain or do you just close it immediately?

But its going down on the top10 market.

So is everything else. It's still #4 (#3 if we exclude the BCash scam coin). What's your point?

711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - Blockchains Interoperability with SmartBridge 🔹 ARK on OKEX 🔹 on: January 26, 2018, 09:25:35 AM
so ARK is POS
how can I join to steak for profit?
does anyone have fully instruction??? thank you

Ark is DPOS. Delegated POS. This means you vote for 1 delegate and you receive a portion of the Ark they forge(create/mine/...). But you have to vote for a delegate that is active and will actually pay.

Sure. This a good starting point for all information related to voting and delegates (see anwser 5.):

I don't have the hardware resources to do mining anymore.  Would anyone know if there's still a way to mine for LTC given this constraint. For example, is there any reputable site allowing us to join and mine?

No. Buying mining contracts (cloud mining) was never profitable. It has the same price/difficulty risks as mining with your own hardware. Plus you cannot sell the hardware if you want to get out.

I see. Thanks. So, it seems the best way/only way to get LTC now is by buying. Is that right?

If mining with your own hardware is not an option, buying is the only way to get them, yes.

Holy jumping shitballs! Do you guys understand that those are market prices? If there's no one willing to buy at a certain price, you won't be able to sell. Exchanges with lower volume have very different prices than larger exchanges. What else do you expect!?
