701  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] Block Erupter USB @ 0.20 BTC + parcel -> Shipping to anywhere! on: August 02, 2013, 07:33:45 PM
So since I've never bought anything from you I won't be able to buy some B.E.'s??  Sad

Not exactly now...

 Grin

But you have your order in place, so let's wait Friedcat response.
702  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] Block Erupter USB @ 0.20 BTC + parcel -> Shipping to anywhere! on: August 02, 2013, 06:43:51 PM
We can stop stressing, Asicminer has no stock till August 14: https://www.btcguild.com/index.php?page=home (should bring you to the news page).

Quote:
International Sales + Inventory Shortage
International sales will become available in the next 6-10 hours. Shipping prices will be split into two categories: No tracking and Tracking included. In both cases, BTC Guild takes no responsibility once the package has been shipped.

Unfortunately, I have been informed that ASICMINER is currently experiencing an inventory shortage, preventing me from ordering new inventory for approximately one week. This means new inventory cannot be ordered until Aug 9-12, delaying the shipment of any newly placed orders to August 14 or later.

Bad news...

Yes and accept order only from your buyers not just anyone...

All right, that is it. This is a good way to set a threshold. I am waiting a confirmation from Friedcat to know if he can guarantee up to 1000 units for me. So if that is not possible I will only allow:

- Max of 10 units per buyer
- Buyers which participate in my group buy
- Payment in BTC or Paypal

Sounds fair?
704  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] Block Erupter USB @ 0.20 BTC + parcel -> Shipping to anywhere! on: August 02, 2013, 05:02:10 PM
Oh, I forgot... The fee remains the same: 0.1 BTC per each device. No more, no less.

So just to clarify it is 0.1 BTC + 0.1 BTC = 0.2 BTC total per unit plus shipping cost.
Right?  Sounds good to me just want to make sure I understand.

Yes, right.
705  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSED] Block Erupter USB @ 2.10 BTC + parcel -> Shipping to anywhere! on: August 02, 2013, 04:51:21 PM
It is not going to be fair for the buyers whose get late to this topic. With just 11 buyers we will finish all the units 104 @ 0.2btc.

True!

There is one buyer which place an order for 500 units!

 Shocked

So, what to do now? To be fair with everyone I could wait up to 10th August to satisfy all buyers.
706  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSED] Block Erupter USB @ 2.10 BTC + parcel -> Shipping to anywhere! on: August 02, 2013, 03:37:23 PM

Here is the deal. Each buyer is only allowed at this moment to reserve up to 10 units. If we gather enough funds before 10th August, I am going to place an order with Friedcat. If not, I am going to let buyers to reserve more units.

So it means that if I ordered 3 sticks previously, now I can order up to 10?

Yes, because the 30% is over the total number of units I ordered, not over the individual number of units ordered by each buyer.
707  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] Block Erupter USB @ 0.20 BTC + parcel -> Shipping to anywhere! on: August 02, 2013, 02:55:56 PM
International shipping cost?

Yes, it depends what kind of delivery time you wish.

What is shipping cost for both normal and fast?

I am assuming to USA, right?

Convert the price in GBP to BTC (Mt.Gox) to have an approximate cost.

Fast:

Quote
globalexpress   Guaranteed from 1 day   Up to £200   Tracked   £49.99

Global Express

Normal:

Quote
Airsure Small Packets   Delivery aim 4 days   Up to £50   Delivery Confirmation   £8.90
708  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] Block Erupter USB @ 0.20 BTC + parcel -> Shipping to anywhere! on: August 02, 2013, 02:27:45 PM

Well, I will let you prepare funds and fill the form

Please, fill all fields carefully. Put your COMPLETE name and a valid email.

Do you plan to have a new Traders Book or use old one ?

The new Trader's Book will be very similar to the old one.
709  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSED] Block Erupter USB @ 2.10 BTC + parcel -> Shipping to anywhere! on: August 02, 2013, 02:01:29 PM
How much will the shipping and handling be?

1x 0.1 BTC + Fee + Shipping?
2x 0.1 BTC + Fee + Shipping?
3x 0.1 BTC + Fee + Shipping?

etc?

Oh, I forgot... The fee remains the same: 0.1 BTC per each device. No more, no less.

...and, of course, you all have refund and compensation guaranteed by myself as did happen with the previous orders.
710  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSED] Block Erupter USB @ 2.10 BTC + parcel -> Shipping to anywhere! on: August 02, 2013, 01:53:24 PM
Hi everyone!

I am sorry for the delay, I have been busy preparing myself for a job next month. However I did not forgot you, my loyal buyers!

 Grin

GOOD NEWS.

Friedcat meant that he can only guarantee up to 30% of the total number of Block Erupter USB ordered by my group buy:

347 * 0.3  = 104.1

So I can only order up to 104 units.

But this only apply up to 10th August. So after that Friedcat told me that I could order up to 100% of the total number of Block Erupter USB ordered previously.

Well, I will let you prepare funds and fill the form:

Please, fill all fields carefully. Put your COMPLETE name and a valid email.

Let's see what happens during the weekend.
711  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSED] Block Erupter USB @ 2.10 BTC + parcel -> Shipping to anywhere! on: August 01, 2013, 12:07:24 PM
Sorry to say that but I don't belive that Augusto will actually do something to receive and redistribute those units.

Well, I already did. I contacted Friedcat and he told I can order Block Erupter USBs to my buyer for 0.1 BTC. However Friedcat told me that he can only guarantee up 30 % of my buyers (I am not sure if that was his answer, so I am waiting a confirmation from him). He also told me that from 10th August he could guarantee that all buyers will get the Block Erupter USB for 0.1 BTC.

So, there is anyone interested?

Ok, I have to admit I'm starting to become genuinely curious with KNC.

I've been quietly skeptical, mostly due to a lack of solid information coming out about the project, and am hugely suspicious of any 28nm ASIC right now due to costs involved, but I have to admit that seeing the Paypal payment option as enticing, mainly for their consumer protection mechanisms.

Shipping end of September huh ? Guess I'll place my order near end of August and cross my fingers.

Good luck gentlemen. Pulling for you folks. Will be quite the technical achievement should this project come to fruition.

WOW!

I just had to troll the thread a la BFL to raise sales and guarantee more pre-orders!

Hey Xian01, if you buy from KnC could you please give them my reference code:

713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: July 31, 2013, 12:06:44 AM
You really are daft, aren't you. Paypal is their CC processor. I'm sure there are people here who paid with CC and can verify it works.

And I've read this entire thread and seen nothing to indicate Bitcoinorama is shilling. Your attack is nonsensical and without evidence.

Payments through Paypal and similar services

There are some transactions where the company that deals with your credit card payment is not the same as the one that provides the goods or service - such as Paypal.

If you use your credit card to pay for something through PayPal and the funds go direct to the seller, then as long as the company you're buying from has a 'Commercial Entity Agreement' with Paypal you may still be able to claim under Section 75 for any misrepresentation or breach of contract.

PayPal offers its own buyer protection scheme, called PayPal Buyer Protection, so it's worth checking if you'd be covered by that if you have a problem with your purchase.

Sorry to interrupt the fight but one thing I consider important is details on power supply required so that upon delivery we can all have one ready to go.
Time is going to be crucial especially in the first month with diff increases etc. , you don't want to lose time hashing waiting for an item like that do you?
Personally I'd like to be shopping for mine now and be sure it's the right one.

Hey, not a problem! There is a "large Technical announcement coming next week":

Hi Guys

Sorry for butting in in your discussion but don't buy any power supplies yet.

We will have a large Technical announcement coming next week. Where we will give even more accurate Power figures and GH/s.

It will be a significant announcement which I hope will make all of our customers happy. and no before you ask I wont reveal any details before that newsletter goes out Smiley

again please don't buy a 1200W power supply you simply will not need one that powerful or expensive.

715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / By no way my opinion is an attack. on: July 30, 2013, 08:41:29 PM
No, 100% you're right, for that part I'll apologise to Augusto despite the attack on me. His past is none of my business.

I did not attack you. By no way my opinion is an attack. It is just an opinion about your profile in this forum. I do not know who you are outside this forum. Even if I was aware of who you are, by no means I would bring details of your personal life into the discussion. However after I gladly left my opinion, you just pop up with some random photos from my past background. That indicates you were very affected by my opinion. To substantiate my opinion I presented some evidence which indicates you could be working for KnC. Then you became more infuriated and brought more false statements about my personal life, when you should bring evidence to prove my opinion wrong.

Well, at least you recognize that my past background has nothing to do with the subject discussed in this topic. Do it better than that and perhaps I will reward you with another 0.10 BTC.

Far from it I've insisted you pay by credit card and call your issuing bank and ensure they will cover your ass after the Paypal 45 day window shuts. Mine will. I rang Barclays and recorded the lady in the fraud department on loudspeaker to be super sure. If anything I was instrumental in ensuring KnC accepted card payments. Read the damn thread.

Oh really, so would you share that with all us? I will be glad to hear such conversation.

Our payment system will allow the following payment methods:

 PayPal

 Bitcoin via Bitpay

 Bank transfer

By the way, why KnC did not included "credit card" in their list of accepted payment method if 'was instrumental in ensuring KnC accepted card payments'?

FYI, just a bit of info on y'days resident expert(troll), Augusto Croppo who was throwing his weight around.

Figured seeing as he gave his name and an about me in his link tells us he is a 'freelance' IT expert originally from South America, now living in London, it might be easy enough to glean some further info about him and the expertise he brings to the table with respect to the unsubstantiated claims he was making, well apparently he likes breaking into houses and not paying rent;

Doesn't inspire me with confidence...

Still throwing crap around without reading up thoroughly.

For starters I entered this forum to check out ASICrigs, as they claimed to be from the UK, and claimed they would accept a visit, go check my posting history out it's all in there, would be a bit of a labourious shilling work around if my ultimate goal was to promote KnC. This was then followed by having a great deal of fun in the Cedartec thread, by far the most amusing thread in this forum. Again go take a look, I exposed them as a scam, you might learn a thing, or two...

I actually planned on doing the same to KnC, until they partnered with ORSoC and started checking out (something you've not bothered to do), they were also willing to accept a visit, unlike ASICrigs they actually meant it, and not exclusively to me. Several forum members went (again something you've failed to do, but then that's not free is it?).

Onto your other embarrassing ruse, an SKU is hardly indicative of insider knowledge, and what's more amusing was I wasn't the first to clear that up, KS was a loooong time before in this very thread, my answer to the query above was merely a reiteration of his answer to the same question posted earlier.

Clearly I've hit a nerve, surprising that someone who breaks and enters, and helps himself to houses that don't belong to him would so overtly publicise who he is and what he's been doing. Looks like you enjoy our 'free' healthcare without paying as well;

http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3073/2312278663_7abd8232ca.jpg

Don't forget you owe apologies to many once KnC deliver, to be fair I couldn't care less if you apologise to me, but I will certainly be reminding you, until then you're on ignore.

Adios.

Quotes for the future.

Thought you said you were going away? Missed your deadline dude. Tut tut.

I thought that as well, but I could not predict that someone would bring up my past background after I left. Why you do not ask Bitcoinorama why he posted something about my background after I stop to post and after KnC's announcement? I am sure he must have a clever answer to explain how photos of my past history proves that KnC will deliver as promised.

I am not the one here holding a massive quantity of customers funds with promises to deliver an unproven product by September October.

 Cheesy

Hey, I am sure KnC customers are more interested to see photos from the promised product rather than photos from random homeless people published in some newspaper in 2008.
