721  Other / Off-topic / Re: Teslas to incorporate Blockchain???? on: May 25, 2019, 01:24:45 AM
WOAH. What if Teslas were nodes and each car were to talk to each other and record everything on a public blockchain? This article blew my mind:

https://cryptotradernews.com/technology/how-tesla-can-incorporate-blockchain-into-its-cars/

Thoughts???
Based on this every device in the world is a part of blockchain to collect data, this is not something that is new like google has been doing this for a long time using our computers searchs personal info as a data to be collected and sold to companies, and this kind of what our modern world is about, and it would not be a surprise Tesla is really doing this as well through tracking your destinations through your car's gps than using it.
722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A New Bitcoin Rival Is Coming? on: May 24, 2019, 11:12:11 PM
It is true that the Facebook coin that will come out will have some value and many investors will go for it, since it is already a well established company with a large number of users it won't be a surprise if it had a partial success, i mean look at binance and how its coin took off just because it is a well know exchange in the crypto market, that being said i don't think that it will come even closer to competing with bitcoin and none is or will be, because there are a really large number of people using bitcoin that the people that are interested in using the Facebook coin to buy and sell thing on the Facebook marketplaces.
723  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit my job to do full-time crypto-trading on: May 24, 2019, 11:05:55 PM
Hey. I'm Mark. Shortly about myself: quit my major job to earn my way by trading and it exceeded my expectations. What I got from it that everything is possible, guys.

Here will be the deals I make, some of the stuff to continue the learning curve and anything I found interesting to share with you.
Disclaimer: None of this is financial advice, do your own research, share and earn.

[ 12 years in trading, 4 years in crypto trading ]

Here's one of them:

Each deal is a piece of art

Well quiting your job for anything is never a good idea, especially for trading since the market is really unpredictable and you could lose your investment at any moment, i don't really know what was your job and how much did it pay but even if trading pays more than it, it is still better to have a backbone and consistent flow of money,  to show how inconstant the market is recall when the price of bitcoin went to 19k and everyone thought that it is gonna keep going and it went down and so many people including me lost a lot, what makes you think that such as situation won't happen again.
724  Economy / Economics / Re: Problems In Chinas Economy & Escalating Trade War Will Cause Large Bitcoin Rally on: May 24, 2019, 10:10:44 PM
This economical war has been going on for quite some time, and it will still do china creates more cheaper products just to contests against the big companies that are US origin, i mean we recently have seen that google which is american based company banning Hawaii phones which is a Chinese from using the android OS for no reason at all other than it doing well and better than the others and it is taking over, and this is caring over to other companies, and this will really effect the Yen, which leads me to believe that many businesses mans will invest more into Bitcoin and they will pressure the government into reconsidering the Bitcoin mining ban.
725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 61-year Old Chinese Grandma Convicted For Stealing Electricity To Mine Bitcoin on: May 24, 2019, 09:41:38 PM
Quote
A Thursday report from China disclosed that the Kaiping District People’s Court of Tangshan City, Hebei Province has sentenced a 61-year-old woman to prison for stealing national power resources for the mining of bitcoin.

https://coinfomania.com/61-year-old-chinese-grandma-convicted-mining-bitcoin/

Just imagine seeing your grandma during holidays and asking, "what's keeping you busy?", and the responded will be, "mining bitcoin" Grin. That will be priceless.  Grin. So for 10 months, this old lady has been 'stealing electricity', but it look closely at the article, it looks like the profit is around $940 only. But she has to pay $1450 + jail time.
What surprises me the most is not how she was able to steal the power, is how was she able to come up with idea the planing for it knowing whether it is profitable or not, and most importantly is how she was able to set up miners and assemble the mining machine, i mean poeple around 30 and 20 don't even know what bitcoin is and struggle with anything related to computers, let even mining, which makes me think that she is not alone in this plan.
726  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: May 24, 2019, 08:51:53 PM
When we speak of investing , intention is to own an asset now and sell it at a higher price in future date. During this “holding” time period, you the investor own the time to himself. In other words, if you have to invest your time along with owning the asset it’s called a business and not an investment. Think of using amazon vs going to shopping on your own. What you save is time and happens to be your investment.
It is not just about time, there is a wide difference between a business and an investment, business requires work and effort and a lot of planing while investment is you put your money and wait for other to do the work for you and based on their work either you profit or you lose while in business your won effort is what defines that, and it is the same in the crypto market, as for where my money comes is that i work a full time job and what ever left of my salary i just put it on bitcoin.
727  Economy / Exchanges / Re: what do you make out of Binance hack on: May 24, 2019, 08:01:53 PM
The hack that happend to Binance was a mere pebble in their road, Binance probably makes like million if not billions a year and the money that was stolen during the hack only represent a very small portion, they stated that they are going to replace it and the security flaw was fixed, so nothing is going to out of the usual and no one is going to have his balance changed, if anything this shows how trustworthy they are and how big they are, and in terms of their binance coin it actually went up since that.
728  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: do technical actually work on: May 23, 2019, 11:18:46 PM
The 95% use a purely technical approach to speculation and investing, relying on articles written by their favourite crypto guru for their analysis. Bitcoin has been leading the crypto market higher over the last month, and as prices move higher so will the expectations of Bitcoin's future.

Most find speculation and investing hard. It's because we are just not wired to be good at it. Almost everything we think we should do will hurt, and almost everything we believe will harm us won't.

This behaviour retells the same old story, over and over again. The majority, get caught up in the hype and excitement and buy, always late to the party, without any long term understanding of the actual risks they are taking, bouncing between exhilaration and despair, checking for tweets, posts, and updates from their trusted guru.
For me the people who just make their own decision based on others and just invest when they see prices come up and just flow others like lambs to slaughter, where they lose their money because of it, if are just following what others tell you to do than you are not cut for this industry, because you need to learn and know what it is all about in order to make your own decision and people are lazy and just want an easy road to success, and if you really do tahn you would know better than to just invest when the price is high and freak out when it starts going down.
729  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the real value of bitcoin and cryptocurrency on: May 23, 2019, 10:57:29 PM
Bitcoin when it was created and it was stated in its whitepaper is that it is supposed to be a more secure and decentralized alternative for using fiat money, but as time went on and due to the fact that it has limited supply its price went up and people started moving away from that idea of using bitcoin to buy and sell things to considering it a type of investment that needs to be stored and saved, the real value of bitcoin and cryptocurrency to me is a way for us to free ourselves from the control of the government and banks that they have put on us with the fiat that dominates everything in our lives, but people really forget what they are really about.
730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTW US Govt does NOT recognize anybody as Satoshi on: May 23, 2019, 09:30:42 PM
it seems like the "hype" has died as they are now done pumping the shitcoin known as BSV but in case you missed it US copyright office made an official announcement saying they do not recognize anybody, specifically Craig Wright, as Satoshi Nakamoto despite what lots of clickbait news sites have been saying a day ago when the shitcoin pump began.

link: https://www.copyright.gov/press-media-info/press-updates.html

Ultimately, for a coin to have sustained value it has to operate with integrity. Fooling the public with gimmicks such as the copyright registration above will only lead to temporary pumps that will be followed by dumps. Investors generally don't like liars.

A lot of times we have seen people come up and make false claims to being Satoshi, and time and time again we discover the truth that they are just doing so for attention and to their benefits, so at this point i blame it on the people for actually giving them the attention, so i hope that Craig gets sewed for false claiming in order to make and example from him so no other fools in future will think twice before lying publicly about being the creator of bitcoin.
731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1-Month Investment: ETH? BCH? on: May 23, 2019, 09:06:34 PM
Hey guys, new to the forum!
Thinking of doing a short-term investment for fun, about 1 month or so. Was thinking I should buy either Etherum or Bitcoin Cash. I use Gemini so not all coins are available. Wanted to get some opinions from you vets Smiley
We really can't tell what is going to go in a month for either Eth or BCH, for me i really think that eth has really good potential to rise in the future but not in the near future, and i don't know if btc cash will go up as well, but if you are really looking for some short term investments than i would highly consider bitcoin since it has more movements in terms of price than all the other currencies, i mean if you consider how it went from 3k to 8k in just tow months and probably will go up in the next month has well, so it is a good option.
732  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can I extract cash from exchanges without going through a bank? on: May 23, 2019, 08:32:39 PM
Maybe you should have a look at debit cards which you can load with bitcoin. You can then just easily get your money at a ATM. Guess that's the best way do cashout your earnings.
Most of the bitcoin debit cards right now are not functional or redirected to some countries since late 2017, and that was due to the fact that visa and mastercard  have stooped supporting those companies that issue them, besides using them will have more fees to load up the card and than cashing them from ATM, my suggestion is to find someone who is willing to exchange bitcoin to cash for peer to peer websites like localbitcoin, where there are a lot of cashing out method western union and money gram, but the best would be to find hand to hand cause you won't lose any fees while doing so.
733  Economy / Economics / Re: The Continuous Printing of Money on: May 23, 2019, 08:14:44 PM
Well obviously printing money is not going to help the economy at all, i mean it is going to lead to inflation and the local currency becoming useless and its value will go down significantly, i mean haven't they really learned from what happend to Zimbabwe  where they have a 1 trillion dollar bill that is worth 1 usd, that mean the the economy is domed and government issued currency is dead, now they are trading with currencies like usd and euro and other neighboring countries currency in order to keep the wheel going.
734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India on Bitcoin: Will the Newly Elected Indian Government Pass Crypto-Friendly on: May 23, 2019, 07:24:44 PM
The elections for the seat of power in the largest democracy of the world came to an end on 23rd May 2019. The current ruling political party won the elections again as the people of the nation chose Narendra Modi as their Prime Minister for the second time.
The election in India began on April 11th, 2019, since then India has been under ‘aachar sanhita’ or code of conduct, according to which the Government can pass no new law. Nevertheless, with the election results announced, the pending work of the lawmakers would also resume. Subsequently, cryptocurrency regulations can be expected soon as well.

Complete Crypto-Ban or Stringent Regulations?
Reportedly, an economic committee under the Indian Government has drafted a bill the “Banning of Cryptocurrencies and Regulation of Official Digital Currencies Bill 2019.” The discussion on the bill is being held between the various branched of the Government. The bill will be introduced in the parliament for approval if sanctioned by the departments.

The idea of accepting and regulating bitcon has been discussion before hand during the same guy's period being a prime minister, and with him being reelected what makes you think that they will rethink their decision and accept it, my personal opinion toward bitcoin regulation in India and any other country is there must be a new people in the seat of power, people with vision and with knowledge what bitcoin is capable of, in order to make progress and development and bring the future to the next era.
735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big Merchants Now Accepting Bitcoin on: May 19, 2019, 02:14:47 AM
The problem here is it being a 3rd party, meaning that you will lose a lot of fees between transferring from your wallet to their wallet and than to seller plus their interest, which many people are discouraged about, it is great that companies are accepting cypto but it sucks to have to pay a lot of fees, like you used to be able to buy from any site using a bitcoin debit card but the problem is as always are the fees, why couldn't the transfer happen directly from one wallet to another ?.
736  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trader don't speculate? on: May 19, 2019, 01:43:39 AM
No, don't speculate... that is what they always tell us but FOMO aside, what's the fun if there is no emotional speculation!

I feel we as traders could be considered as speculative consumers, and if that is partly the truth wouldn't it be cool if the digital asset that we are speculating on was something we had whole ownership of?

I am building a game inspired by trading crypto, in the form of digital racehorse ownership on the blockchain. Haven't you always wanted to own your own racehorse any way?

There is nothing wrong with speculation, but don't just go throwing them around social media and forums, because people who are not that experienced with trading will see that and think that it is true and they go ahead and either sell or trade based on the those which will lead to losses, and that is basically what the big people and the influences do these days, they go around misleading people in an attempt of manipulate the market and change it to whatever is in their interest.
737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you are regretting not encashing read this ' on: May 19, 2019, 01:29:06 AM
The reasons behind the odd behavior of the market is unclear, like we can think of a million reasons why the price has gone up and down, if you are in it just for the money and you are trying to think so hard about all of this and keep speculating than you are just gonna keep making bad decisions, bitcoin will always keep on going up and it never stops to surprise us, like back in 2017 no one in their mind though that bitcoin was going to be able to go from 6k to almost 20k in just a couple of months, and these couple of month bitcoin went from 3k to 8k so obviously you would be a fool if you are thinking of cashing out at this period of time right when it is about to make a run for the high prices.
738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain is giving everyone 25$ worth Stellar coins for free on: May 19, 2019, 01:13:08 AM
Free cash, claimed it myself, only sign up, verify your id and that's it.

More info:

https://www.pokcas.com/News/?p=blockchain-is-giving-everyone-25-worth-stellar-coins-for-free
This is true but it is only available for people who are living in the US, but the problem here is that they give 25$ worth of steller that you really can't do much with them, the coin is not popular and it is not being used anywhere so you can spend it and you can't exchange it, so it will just sti there in you account until you forget about it while its price keeps one going down, until the 25$ becomes 0.25$, it is the same thing that happens when they make a bitcoin gold fork, you claim it but its value keeps on going down.
739  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: start trading again carefully and don't be too ambitious to get big profits ...! on: May 19, 2019, 01:05:27 AM
let us trade well without ambition to get big profits, the desire to get big profits in trading is very reasonable, of course, but for example we are very ambitious and not careful in trading your day, it will all cause us will be trapped, and in trading avoid panic for example there will be a decline, because you have to think that prices will be able to rise again, let's trade with our self-speculation which of course can be even better again.
I totally agree, but one of the most important thing is that you have to know what you are doing, most of the comers and the ones who are trying to make money from trading at first, they just get jumpy and they get impatient and overwhelmed by the the information, and greed drives and lose their money quickly, and also they just tend to believe any predictions and anyone out there that is telling people either to buy or sell, and all of this because they lack knowledge, trading needs deep understanding and patient in order to make profit.
740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Same thing happens to everyone who tries that! on: May 19, 2019, 12:33:47 AM
This message is to anyone who think being on a mission to kill Bitcoin is a "wise" decision. Use Craig Wright as a case study and compare it to the life he'd have if he were to focus on building his own platform and promoting it in his own way.

Secondly, take a look at all those so-called "Bitcoin killer coins" and look at their fate without Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the most loved asset in this ecosystem and so it's meaningless to try to make it your hunting mission. Together, Bitcoin lovers are stronger than anyone or any coin.

So next time you think about killing Bitcoin, remember you'll be "dead and forgotten" before you even start.

Have a nice evening!!!
Bitcoin was the first of its kind, the start of the future and its success was for a reason and the people that supported it are doing so because they believe in it, for me i think that all of the coins that came after bitcoin are just obvious copy cats that are trying to make profit and they promote them by giving false hopes and false dreams of being bitcoin killers and changing the crypto seance, and they all end up either being a pump and dump or a scam.
