its price have rebounded with remarkable price and even indicates that its growth may keep continue for whole year

I expect dump due to huge unlock that's coming in March [1], and more unlocks every 4 weeks after that. We are in bullish market and these unlocks have bearish impact, I'm not sure who will win here but I sold portion of ARB received from airdrop few days ago. It was surprisingly perfect moment to sell, cause it dumped shortly after.

One man show from Finn Allen, everyone else seemed to come and go leaving with ODI stats.

Fakhar Zaman should have stick to opening instead of changing to middle order, his aggressive batting style suits opening position more, and can give good headstart to the team that's desperately needed in matches like this. Babar Azam made decent contribution with good strike rate but for the total they were chasing neither was going to be enough, he needed hard-hitter on other side like their match against same team in ODIWC, it's good to Babar giving consistent performance in this series though, something or only thing for Pakistan dressing room to cheer for.

~~

You gave it 11 spaces.

This is spamming. Please stop it.

This was legitimate question. I tried removing this useless spaces by pressing delete button (android keyboard) while posting and while editing, sometimes it worked and sometimes it wouldn't, as I said in post.

But thank you, you have solved this query, quoting post allows me to remove blank spaces swiftly, I have edited post mentioned in op and locking the topic.

747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: What's on your bullish wishlist on: January 16, 2024, 11:37:09 PM
Some of my coins are up already and I would not suggest to buy them now, and few that haven't pumped much yet are Hive, Ethereum, BTC, Arbitrum, Atom and Pyth.

5: Linea
These are my current favorite gems. I think they have potential to 5x to 20x.
This is not a financial advice. invest on your own risk if you want to.

How do you suggest $LINEA when there is no token out?

I didn't make this thread self-moderated when I posted and now I want to as I feel there are few comments that shouldn't be there. Should op be allowed to make thread self-moderated after posting? I.e, able to edit thread later on to make it self-moderated, what do you think?

MagicEden airdrop speculation:

You can farm points for free on MagicEden NFT marketplace by claiming dailies, there are points for bidding and listing NFTs too, but if you don't wanna make that effort, it can be done for free. It has raised $130M, you never know if they do an airdrop and these points count, also it takes click to claim, so there is no effort involved whatsoever: https://magiceden.io/rewards

^ If it is mere TDS people want to save themselves off, they can use Colodax which has 0 TDS on selling since more than a year, that is if they are comfortable with selling prices there cause Colodax has huge spread between buy and sell price.

Scorchers v Sixers: Slow start from Scorchers, mere 60 something runs by 10 overs, then we see acceleration from Evans who made 72 (34), good finishing touches from Connolly 37(18)* and they put up a great total of 197 for Sixers to chase, total that was completely out of expectation at first.

Sixers had in mind what they were chasing, they played at 10 RPO throughout the chase, had terrific start by their openers mainly Huges, he played aggressive knock of 74(43), and lastly Henriques who made 43(19)* cemented the win on the last ball by hitting four (1 run was required).
753  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not use more than 2x leverage on: January 16, 2024, 12:57:36 PM
I agree with him and it tallies with my experience, when I open positions, I look at liquidation price I'm going to get, and right balance is usually found between 2-4x leverage. I have positions open with leverage in-between same numbers since long time. I tried going above that once (10x with LINK recently) I sensed liquidation price was too close, but I went ahead with it anyway cause FOMO of bull market it didn't turn out well.

Just don't use leverage will give you best.

Bitmex Advanced Margin Trading Guide 2020. Margin enthusiasts will feel more scary after reading the guide. I don't share the guide to hook newbies to margin trading because it is always risky to use leverage, even just 2x leverage like Vitalik advised, just don't.

The guide can help newbies to know why their leveraged positions get liquidated by exchanges and know more about the risk, to avoid leverage.

Because they can understand the formula of liquidation, make calculation and think with 2x leverage, price will not crash to liquidation price but if price falls a bit, one round of liquidation will trigger another and more rounds of liquidations, then eventually price will hit to liquidation price of their open position which in their calculation should be safe. In reality it is not safe in market crash.

I'm of the opinion that margin trading is not bad, it is a good tool reap huge profits in short amount of time in bullish market, even if you are low on capital.
754  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Maybe future trade is gambling on: January 16, 2024, 12:37:00 PM
I consider futures to be a double edged sword. As long you know what you are doing and stick with less than 5x leverage, futures can be a handy tool especially when you are low on capital and want to take advantage of particularly bullish market, however trading at high leverage is sheer gambling.

Also one thing that helped me lot in my life, is to stay away from thing unless you understand it completely, it saves you from lot of misfortunes. Will definitely be helpful for your friend.

Now my question is futures trade is actually gambling? Or how did he lose all his dollars?

How did he lose all his dollars? Have you traded in futures? You should give it a try with $10 capital and 100x leverage, you will know. Lol.

the shitcoinstalk forum, which has seen a business opportunity in this and makes it easier for people to go there "teleporting" which is to keep the rank they have here by simply creating an account with the same name.

I'd just like to add that teleporting thing was added long back in 2020, it's not a new thing.

Yes, but I understand they made it easier now, right? Or is that link at the top of the page, of all the forum pages, actually, that says:

Quote
» To teleport your account from Bitcointalk, click here

has been there since 2020? I ask because I don't know but I would be surprised, because also the possibility of teleporting was there since then but it was not exclusive to Bitcointalk, also to other forums.

I don't know that either. But, you are probably right, banner specifically mentions about Bitcointalk so it must have happened after mixer ban here.
757  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto: a place where everyone makes money, but few secure it on: January 16, 2024, 09:59:39 AM
I have heard of a lot of smart people who lack financial knowledge but remain successful because they are wise in other aspects. For instance, I have heard of individuals who made a huge profit from Bitcoin, and because they couldn't handle it, they just employed people to teach them or help them invest, and these experts helped them maintain this wealth, so they didn't fall back to square one. The fact is, even if one is not money-wise, they should be wise in other aspects.
I am not comfortable believing this story of yours you told. If someone had invested in Bitcoin and made huge amount of money he should be considered financially literate and not to meet any other person to teach him another type of investment in order not to return to poverty. I put it to you that anyone who is able to invest in Bitcoin and have good returns has already known the methods of investment and does not actually need to employ any other person to teach him where again to invest.

..and I disagree with your statement, I don't think holding BTC, making profits from it makes anyone even remotely financially literate. There are people who came across BTC first, got their feet wet here first before even having a bank account because they weren't aged enough to have it and BTC/Crypto is the only thing they know, nothing about investments in other sector whatsoever.
758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Confessions on: January 16, 2024, 09:41:15 AM
I wish people were transparent and share the same when asked directly but they won't and if they share it when asked directly it would help everyone to take the right decision at the first go itself

Some things are better off being private, or at least confined to few close people you trust. You can still learn from these confessions posted anonymously and learn to not repeat same. In my experience, people are honest when they are anonymous, being certain personality limits you on what you can share and there are insecurities how other party will react, posting anonymously frees you from this.

it has to be something that could encourage to invest. they are shilling BONK and this is x page is supported by @rollbitcom

BTW Where are they Shilling BONK? I scrolled down until a month older tweets but didn't saw any tweet shilling BONKs.

He's likely talking about this Tweet.

No one would want tell you all of that directly. People don’t want to look like they are a loser of even admit that they’ve made such a mistake before. Even when they make profit, many people just want to hide the truth.

I think it's better to hide one's financials anyway, it's good for one's own security.

I saw people complaining about their loss to their mentor or the influencer they were following when making their investment.

Technically, it's still their own fault to follow mentor/infleuncer, but yes it does make things easier to pass around when there is another person involved.
759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Layerzero Speculation airdrop on: January 16, 2024, 12:18:53 AM
^  Pretty sure all wallets that haven't reached some level of volume will be out...  Some that have could be checked if they're active enough in other aspects like staking STG and LP'ing in Stargate which is Layer Zero's baby.  The devs at Layer Zero Labs built it afaik.

But yeah, I think I have all my bases covered now.  Got the volume, the staking and the LP down.  All I could do now is wait and hope for the best.

The way Layerzero is massively farmed, I feel they will invent some new method to filter out sybils, and we we'll only know that when they publish the criteria, or if they go with something generic farmers gonna receive peanuts. I drift towards former more tho.

Also I feel, Layerzero is farming the farmers.

As of the current combination, it looks like there is no place for KL Rahul and Gill in playing XI.
Though, I sense Jaiswal and Rinku have guaranteed spot in squad.
There is fierce competition between Jaiswal and Gill for the opening slot. I am confident about these two making it into the team, but I am unsure whether they will be part of the playing squad. Rinku should be part of the team down the order and I am now unsure whether Hardik Pandya would be part of the team if Shivam Dubey continues to play in the same manner. The best way to evaluate these two would be IPL and considering the long period in which the IPL would be played the selectors would be able to evaluate correctly and find the right guy suited at that position. I somehow feel that Rohit Sharma would be the captain of the team playing in the T20 World Cup.

From looks of it Jaiswal looks better choice, Gill hasn't been in form since long, yes he did make 90 something in ODIWC other than that nothing much, appears he has been distracted with the glamour that has been showered upon him lately, Gill can play one-down slot as he did in test series but sounds unlikely, and it might mess things further up for player positions, there will also be Surya coming at third position and Kohli there. So yeah, either Jaiswal or Gill only of them is going to be in playing 11.

Hardik is definitely going to be there unless injured. One of best all rounders there is.

Rohit hasn't been performing well since WC loss, I dunno if they should may be make Kohli captain, someone who doesn't carry past burden along with him. I know I'm going along the lines that Rohit said in press conference after ODIWC final loss, "now I'll be bad captain" — but well this is how I feeel.
