Are you dumb slow inflation high inflation never heard about that? At the end paycon wil dissepear delete from exchange and then develop another shitcoin. Thats gonna happen 100% mark my words no argue about that.

It is the highest volume Coin on C-Cex, also on Yobit and Cryptopia which has it's own marketplace so you can also buy and sell stuff in CON. 7 major releases in 6 months, including a massive list of new features, design revamps, security and Staking improvements and most recently full TOR integration.

Original wallet

New wallet including theme's

Also full interactive Block Explorer.

and marketcap continually increasing over time.

paycon sucks dont buy this crap  POS coins you never will make money its worser then gambling.
Ive seen  it to in snowballs mmxiv and other crap pos coins reallly i was 3 months in that. and lost alot btc.

That is because those Coins have uncapped, high interest over 1000% so the money supply compounds along with the interest and inflates faster and faster over time. PayCon has a Static reward of 30 Coins per block so the inflation is no different than the same way BTC operates except you have much less sell pressure and Staking is more profitable for holders since it doesn't require massive energy bills. The amount of Coins produced per day is 43,200 and as time goes on that amount in relation to the money supply means that interest reduces over time.

The wallet on this thread won't work with the current network, it is version 1.0.2 and current wallet version is 2.0.0

I like the challenge of debate and you are welcome to head over to the newest thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=937480.0

Yeah thats right! Spots coins died quik paycon gonna died slowly!

Why?
743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Profits More Important Than Decentralization? on: July 17, 2015, 07:05:37 AM

I'm not sure if you ever can have a truly decentralized Cryptocurrency because you need to be able to trust whoever managing the codebase

unless you, as stakeholders could vote on weather or not to change the codebase, and how.  Imagine the bitcoin blocksize debate happening over the course of a month or so as bitcoin holders voted either for or against the change the next time they logged into their wallets.  Simple.  Painless.

I'm not sure it would be any more painless when it comes to Bitcoin, I imagine you would still have people complaining about the voting and how it is unfair.

Sorry, I meant on blockchain voting (as a function within your wallet)(1 satoshi = 1 vote)

Anyone who owns bitcoin knows that you cannot argue with the blockchain (or honey badgers).

Yes and that is what I was referring to because then people would complain because large Bitcoin holders can outvote them. I think this is a good idea though and could be refined a bit, I think this is the first time I've heard someone suggest a solution instead of a problem regarding the Block size debate.

745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Operation Shitcoin Cleanout and Clean Up Has Begun- Join the Revolution- Re-open on: July 17, 2015, 06:13:24 AM
Spoetnik suggested in another thread about some kind of super-dox thread where peoples pictures are associated with their alias's.

What are your opinions on this?

Also, something I think the Bitcointalk forums could do is some kind of thread rating system by long-term members or do what the Gethashing forums does with their threads and if there are claims that are not being verified then they move the thread to the watchlist section.

I understand that accounts are bought and sold but I don't think that would have a big impact to rating threads.

I want to start a big topic with links to all these guys picture in crypto and we can start with Monero guys !

a who's who topic.. where we can list their alias's and then have a pic of them beside their name !
a Super Doxx topic of sorts Smiley

Hey, that's a great idea!

Did you know I live in the same city as you do, we can take a picture together!
748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TRUST] TRUSTplus [PoD5x2][PoR][BitTrex][Casheer][Android][Shopify] on: July 17, 2015, 02:16:26 AM
What was this I heard about some bot on the market and then about having a massive GPU farm during the launch and then having purchased these Coins on the market (which could be from yourself), there were threats made that anyone who withdrew Coins would be Blacklisted and lose their Coins. Does this mean that you have enough Stake on the network in order to blacklist anyones Coins at any time if they do not heed to your demands?

It has not been an easy street.  Many of our organic supporters on BCT left because of all the bickering about Bots, Miners and Travis Mitchell's personal life.

Bots can be bought for profit trading, I have four on coins I believe have potential (ARCH, XMG, MINT, DMD) I use my mining farm to support TRUST, by the way its much bigger now. Each Bank of those miners costs $300 a month to run.  At that time I had four banks.  I invested in Solar Power to prevent that from ever happening again.

I did mine Trust with 24 R9 280X for the sum of 50k TRUST.  I have not purchased TRUST, with the exception of buying and selling 1.4 BTC worth to pay Bittrex and contests.  Anything else would be a conflict of interest.

We were able to establish which possible wallets mined massive amounts of TRUST and dumped hard.  I asked the community to let me know which addresses were theirs.  Many people emailed me and we  had a working list.  The hunt was successful and we were able to open a line of communication. If my intention was to scam, I would just run off with the pre-mine and not spend any electricity.  I have had to answer this question about a dozen times, only one person came up with this conspiracy theory, and its just plain false.

There are six addresses that members reported their coins were stolen or scammed,  these addresses are black listed too me and have trackers on them in-case they try to wash the addresses and sell.  All I can do inform people after the transaction and try to get information to help the original owner.  I personally will not accept them.

If I was capable of unwinding coins, I still would not do it.  TRUST is not about policing like Card Services.  I would help collect information for both parties to help resolve the conflict.  Most of the time the offending party is anon or a ghost.  This is the largest coin I will not accept https://chainz.cryptoid.info/trust/address.dws?TCh6Xij6pcGz2gSfQHfvCbq5jWvqVbK9aN.htm

It is completely possible to create a new chain, abandon the old one, and not honoring certain addresses.  MintPal is an example.  If we plan on doing that, we will make sure we have paper wallets available when someones cold wallet was forgotten about.  Sigs would be used to verify wallet ownership.

There isn't a scam story here.  There is no future scam.  There are people working really hard finding investors to build confidence in TRUST.  There is only one person that cannot TRUST and he hopes everyone continues to be a slave to FIAT.

Ok thanks for answering my questions. I don't think it's positive to Blacklist addresses because they are trading with bots because they would have had to buy or mine those Coins in the first place so they lose their investment and then you always lose that trust in the network. It may have solved the problem at the moment but you have a conflict of interest and would have been better not to blacklist the addresses and allow that trading to happen so you aren't losing future investment. What is to say that someone else won't have their addresses blacklisted because they are not trading in the way you want?

I do think it's positive though that you've stuck around with it for so long and have some good stuff going, at the end of the day though the way you want to run it is up to you.
749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: July 16, 2015, 11:12:33 PM
whatever if scrypt.cc is not mining but it giving rewards right now ha?? if you guys can give me same rewards ill join you
for now You guys can .....  annd ........ and ......... soo beat it.

This is back to square 1... your argument is that since it's still paying out and has "better ROI" than other things, it's worth it to continue to invest?

All Ponzis pay out, until they don't any more. The reason KHS is cheap now isn't because of Cryptodevil and Crestington, or "FUD" of any kind, it's because KHS is a worthless non-commodity with no real value and ScryptCC is collapsing.

Yeah ROI is great until the site's gone again...

Well what do you suggest now? where should i invest? invest in shitcoins scamcoins scamdevelopers? right now scrypt.cc is running if it collapse
then bad Luckk. One Thing is sure every investment is risky.
but if you have a miner cheap electricity then you can make money. or else everything is gambling. and im not stupid i see whats going on.

There are a lot of Coins with legitimate developers. I do work on PayCon and work to keep it legit, Dooglus does work on Clams, Presstab does work on Hyperstake, Tranz has worked on Bottlecaps and Hobonickels, then you also have Rat4 who worked on BlackCoin, Cryptomommy who oversees MintCoin, Stan and Dan of Bitshares, the NXT community.

Do some research into different projects and ask questions, there is the general discussion as well and you could make a thread asking people for advice.

The problem here is that you do not have control over your own funds once you put money into Scrypt.cc, the owner of the site has control over those funds and if the mining is not real then it is a Ponzi scheme and can never be sustainable so it is gambling anyways.

750  Other / Meta / Re: Mods should not decide what is off-topic to post! on: July 16, 2015, 10:35:57 PM
I wish people would stop calling it my Coin as I only do work on the codebase along with other people.

The post in question was a reply in which they said it was a fake Coin and I should make a Scrypt.cc Coin so I posted why it is infact a real Coin and what should be done to prove the claims being made because I can and do prove everything cryptographically. I did not say to buy it and they wouldn't anyways nor are the instant gratification types beneficial to any real project. My point in this thread here was that my post was deleted as being off-topic but everyone promotes the projects they are interested in and in the same thread were also promotions for hashnest, bitgold and all kinds of other Staking Coins as alternatives and those were not deleted.

If you are going to moderate and decide what is alright to post then why not moderate and shut down the scams that won't prove the claims they are making?

The Gethashing forums has a watchlist section and if a service is posting but cannot prove the claims they are making then they move the thread there, that would be a fairly easy solution without directly shutting down threads.

You could also do a type of rating system for threads based on weight a person has (number of posts, forum ranking, time spent) and let people rank threads. I am aware of the market for buying and selling accounts but that would not have enough of an impact compared to the amount of people that hold onto their accounts.

Do we need to set up anything different for staking with the new wallet? I installed mine yesterday and am staking about 1/3 of what I was before. (I'm pretty clueless about all of this, so any hints would be appreciated)
Might be bad luck, or it might be that 3 mil added network stake weight that i noticed today midday, it vanished now. Or the fact that diff is rising, dunno. But i'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with tor integration.

You could have setup a VPS or another instance of the wallets somewhere to Stake where you could have access to, I have some guides on setting up a fairly secure VPS in the guide dump on the Gethashing forums. With your own hosted VPS or connection to your private server you can connect even through the command line and daemon.
CrownCloud vps is really nice, i've got 8 cpu cores ffs

You can play around with the hashsettings and see if you can gain some better result and that will help me with fine tuning of the defaults.

// presstab HyperStake
Value hashsettings(const Array& params, bool fHelp)

    if (fHelp || params.size() > 2 || params.size() == 0)
        throw runtime_error(
            "hashsettings <drift/interval><seconds>\n"
"ex: 'hashsettings drift' will return the current drift settings\n"
"ex: 'hashsettings interval' will return the current interval settings\n"
         "ex: hashsettings drift 45\n"
         "ex: hashsettings interval 20\n"
"ex: 'hashsettings default' returns the settings to default\n"
"hashdrift is how many second into the future your wallet will stake in one hashing burst\n"
"interval is how often your client will search for new hashes\n"
"if you set your hashdrift to 45, then your client will create 45 unique proof of stake hashes, the only thing changing the hash result is the timestamp included, thus you hash 45 seconds into the future.\n"
"Each hash is an attempt to meet the staking target. If you don't hit the staking target, your client will pause staking for the set interval. \n"
"If the interval is 22 seconds, the wallet will create 45 hashes, wait 22 seconds, then create 45 hashes. Approximately 23 of those hashes will be identical as the previous rounds hashes.\n"
              "WARNING: timedrift allowance is 60 seconds too high of a hash drift will cause orphans");

I think those charts are a bit off. I moderate at WeMineLTC, and we are reporting 17.6GH/s for our traffic.

Careful your logic might crash and burn his little brain. He can't wrap his head around the fact that an "estimated net hash" is not a firm number. It is a number derived from block times and difficulty. Not the other way around. He has an agenda, who knows what it is. He is a lonely child that needs this attention we give him to feel important.

I await a snarky, WELL thought out, response from the elite crypto folks as I send this poolside. hahaha.

Your beloved admin needs to come here and prove everything such as identity, mining stats (past and present), mining farm, and all payouts. If he was in fact mining with all that hashrate then he could prove it cryptographically and mathematically and because he can't and won't, it makes Scrypt.cc a

SCAM.

You have no idea what you are talking about and are only making assumptions, only the person running the operation could prove it beyond reasonable doubt.

Oh thank you I really appreciate that.

I think of PayCon as the project at which many other Coins will be measured against. I have worked hard to help bring the vision of what I have imagined PayCon to be and that will pay off, not just for me but for the absolute best people around. I want PayCon to be a multi-billion dollar Cryptocurrency, do you feel that hunger? because I do and we will make that happen. PayCon is hands down one of the best Cryptocurrencies the world over and people will see that and do see that when they take the time to look.

I have been thinking a lot about lately about how we can do mobile integration. My caveat with android and mobile has been that in order to do mobile that you need to store the entire chain as well as update Android or IOS wallets with any update but that is not really something that would be beneficial because that would be memory and space intensive. I think that the best bet for mobile would be to focus more on the cloud and private VPS in which you can connect securely because if you can connect securely to a wallet in which can Stake then there can always be full connections and can connect to multiple Coins rather than just one, the space and CPU load then is based upon where it is hosted rather than on the specific device.

Will be payment service with mobile and desktop apps, exchange and trading to 130 fiat money, some  cryptos, complimentary currencys, merchant integration, and more

When will be launched  i will post you,if you will like i can try to get Con listed there

I'm not sure I understand what you mean, at the moment it is just an idea of the ideal way mobile and online wallets could be handled.

Well hopefully you don't get burned too bad but this thread has been very entertaining. You should think about some of the recommendations people have left over the past 10-20 pages and look into a number of those things. In the end the trolls are always right so it's good to listen to what people are saying and take them with a grain of salt and make your own decisions. There are lots of good people who are trying to help people make better decisions and there is no glory in dancing on other peoples misfortune but there is a learning aspect as well and for the most part everyone tends to get burned a little at some point.

Cryptsy hasn't added a coin since April If i recall correctly. To me this would be an attractive addition as you guys are working your socks off and bringing new features all the time.

Cracking job once again

I had talked to Horus about getting PayCon added about a month and a half ago and I'd like to get it added to Cryptsy. It should be something they would want to add because they mentioned that they think of their market in terms of that it costs them about $900 in costs of adding a Coin so they only want to add something in which would have recoup those costs over the life of the Coin and CON would recoup those costs considering it has been the highest volume market on C-Cex since it's inception (average per day) and has everything they are looking for in a Coin like constant evolution, good distribution, no major premine, good communication and community. I'll see if I can get in contact with BitJohn or Mullick, I talked to them a fair bit last year about all kinds of stuff so maybe it might help persuade them to add it to the exchange.

I recently found this site:

https://stakeminers.com/

I guess I would need to invest a considerable sum if I wanted to see some profits...

What's your opinion about it?

Looks nice and easy, almost too good to be true... Wink To be honest at first look this Stakeminers stuff looks like a HYIP or ponzi scheme for me, but maybe I'm wrong. In addition I'd be careful with doing business on the Philippines, but perhaps I'm just overcautious and too conservative.

I think they are probably on the line, maybe this thread on the Gethashing forums will be of help in your research. Lots of replies but would be worth it to read through all of it and ask questions there or the thread on BCT.

760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Profits More Important Than Decentralization? on: July 16, 2015, 01:34:10 AM
I'm not sure if you ever can have a truly decentralized Cryptocurrency because you need to be able to trust whoever managing the codebase and people naturally want someone to make the decisions for them and provide updates so in any system you will have some kind of centralized authority that would have the final say but that doesn't mean that people do not have a say or have no opinion because you can still have cohesion of ideas. I think you can have a profitable system that is largely decentralized because people want to trade, Stake and sell Coins for profit and you want to have people to continually sell and distribute the Coins because that creates greater decentralization. The problem is not inflation because people will continue to buy Coins as long as the code is advancing, the problem is when inflation grows at a faster rate than investment can ever come in (compounding interest with no cap and interest more than 1000%).

I am quite interested in the subject of decentralization and profitability because it is the main reason why everyone is here.
