741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: February 29, 2024, 07:47:24 PM
Most fans were happy to see that Tundra Esports were done on this DreamLeague season 22. I guess that team is just good because topson is there. Once topson leaves, who are they going to recruit?

They're no longer the roster that they've won with the TI title.

They're just too considerate with their team members and I felt bad when MC got kicked there on an actual tournament and got replaced quickly.

#4MC
742  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: From today; 28.02.2024 - How low do you think the coming BTC dip will be..?? on: February 29, 2024, 01:28:32 PM
Can set up to 50% if it is on this current run. But I doubt it that we will see that, we will see some slips but they're too minimal. Just as how we typically see it recover after a correction comes, that's being rebounded and haven't felt by everyone afterwards.

But why think of the dip if we're not yet on the bear market?

There's still a long way to go for this bullish market to thrive so enjoy every phase of it.
743  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the future of the cryptocurrency market? on: February 29, 2024, 11:54:36 AM
Of course on any markets, if there are winners, there will be those that have lose on their ends. I think that's what you mean by the predators.

Of course, I am also a bit neurotic,Worrying about things that have not happened yet, I might as well seize the opportunity to buy a few more tokens with development potential. Sad
Just don't worry with the things that you have no control. Whatever you think will happen, it might or might not happen. So, don't stress yourself out with it.
744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC profit taking strategies? on: February 29, 2024, 07:59:35 AM
Yeah, very reasonable and normal.

Just do it like what you are planning and all you have to do is to timing the moments you're about to sell. Not every week that you might planned to sell will be good to you so just expect the unexpected.

It's a cycle for this market and you're having a good plan. Good luck to both of you as it seemed that you're planned well.
745  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Question about futures on: February 29, 2024, 07:21:37 AM
You don't invest in futures but you are trading/gambling there. If I have that 100 euroes, I'll try to grow it even better and test my trading skill patiently. I don't care how long it will be but as long as it's growing, that's what matters for me.

And when everything is fine and grown, what I'd do is I will be putting everything that I have gained into Bitcoin and if possible, I'll take that cash as remembrance and will get out of the market.

Only if I'll be able to grow that.
746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Funds are SAFU": Here we go again, but with Coinbase! on: February 29, 2024, 06:54:42 AM
That's depressing when they've got thousands to even millions there, but wait, why keep that amount there?

Their similar answers will be, it's easy to store there, a trusted company and can easily dump it when you want to.

It won't justify any security matters and they understand that they have no private keys that they're holding there and yet, they're still there keeping their bitcoins on exchanges. Glad that it's just a glitch.
747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Support, do not criticize. on: February 29, 2024, 06:28:33 AM
Most addicts have been out of the system permanently, and that hasn't been as a result of anyone bugging them... They sometimes get into real, challenging situations and that's it for them.

Sandra 🧑‍🦰
And that's why they need a helping hand.
This is exactly my point and what I'm trying to say because criticism on addicts can be very tough, and we may even forget that some of these people have it in mind or have discussed with us sometime that they wish to change. When they start making efforts, we have to try to help them so that they keep going until they're able to achieve an addiction free life.
If you are a gambler and you are friends with some of these kinds of people trying to stop gambling because of the adverse effect on them, help them by not gambling in front of them, and not discussing gambling in a way that reveres it.
Yeah.

If seen that they're making a change and doing efforts as much as they can, they really should be given some help. They need someone to pat their back and support them at all cost because they're just starting out.

As long as there's the will that you can see from them, you're for sure not going to get tired of helping them.
748  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you think you found Satoshi? on: February 29, 2024, 05:57:59 AM
If I am sure that it is him/her, I'd just say a huge thank you. Because there's a tendency that they're going to deny that it is her/him as satoshi.

Well, what a sad truth that we'll never know who the real satoshi is.

A successful project with a perfect portrayal of privacy.
749  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Coinbase struggling to keep up with volume. on: February 28, 2024, 11:40:19 PM
It is just alarming really that a big platform like Coinbase struggles with a large amount of volume just makes me question how they are going to be when the real pumps come in a few months , just not ideal.
It's because of the visitors that are flocking on them. I've seen that even websites like coingecko had a paused because they can't take the volume of visitors.

Expect that many exchanges are going to be like this once bitcoin soar more.

That is the reason why many of these exchanges are being complained about for not showing any data and they have to improve their infrastructures regarding to these surges.

If you have a relative or an immediate family or friend that's dealing with this, and you're there to help.

Try to show them your one hand that you're there to help. But you have to make sure that you'll only help them in the means that you can.

Because there could be moments that these people might abuse your kindness so watch yourself too.
751  Economy / Gambling / Re: QuitGamble.com - Free Help for Problem Gamblers on: February 28, 2024, 10:09:40 PM
Gambling is not bad generally it is only when you form it a habit by allowing emotions attached to it, many goes to the extended of borrowing money to gamble or even gambling with the amount that they can not afford to loss and at some point making gambling to look like a crime while it is legalized.
Someone has got a serious problem when they are onto the point of life that they're borrowing money just to gamble. Not just that, they're selling random stuff that they own for them to sustain their gambling addiction.

No one can stop them but hard realization that they're doing too much and they're no longer in their sanity.

Gamble responsibily by only gambling with what you can afford to lose and still remain yourself.
And never borrow money to gamble because you'd be paying a lot of interest on top of the borrowed amount.

So, just don't gamble at all when you don't have money to place for your bets. Don't be pushy with it.
752  Other / Off-topic / Re: Making cool money online, with your phone. on: February 28, 2024, 09:40:43 PM
Well the best thing I have done before with my phone for making money is doing the surveys. I had some app on there and it would let me do surveys to earn just small profits.
I do not think it was worth it for my energy to do them. What it does it send some money to your paypal but I remember paypal did not like me doing that.
And then I did try to mine coins from my phone. And again this did not work even just a small bit.
Me too and with my name itself, the paid to clicks.

They're too easy to do with phones and that's why they're interesting before. This time, interest was gone with those and going with the traditional money earning setup is still the best.

The surveys were interesting honestly. They're the ones that giving more rewards when you finish one of them depending on your location.
753  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any recommended Crypto Airdrops in 2024? on: February 27, 2024, 11:42:00 PM
I don't recommend any of them but you have to use your own time doing it and we've got a section on the forum that has these airdrops if you ever are interested on them.

It's on the Bounties --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0

There are bounties and airdrops there so it's kind of a mixed up section if you want to check each of them.

Thanks for directing me to the right place man
You are welcome.

Check there every now and then because there are too many of them.

But that doesn't mean that each of them are going to be successful.
754  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coin suspension on: February 27, 2024, 10:38:16 PM
Well, it can be a sign that when a coin is suspended then it is likely soon that it will be delisted.

I dont have these coins that have been suspended by Binance but typically, that it is not a good sign and you cannot do anything with that because you cannot even withdraw it even you have to.

Asking the support wont help as well because they wont give you timeframe when it may be fixed.
755  Other / Off-topic / Re: Deisel price hike in crude oil producing companies and exporting conundrums on: February 27, 2024, 09:56:35 PM
Those countries where they sell their oil to, doesn't have anything to do because they're just buyers and can't do anything with it.

Thanks to OPEC for limiting the daily supply that they produce as this really controlled the price. And also the sanction that's been made to Russia where they are one of the source of oil have affected a lot globally.

While them in Russia, it's said that they're not too problematic about oil price hikes.
756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A lot of gambling sites are scams ! on: February 27, 2024, 09:15:39 PM
You're in the right forum to ask that, despite that this is a bitcoin forum. Looking for the crypto casinos that are reliable are also here.

That's why good casinos are taking their time to build their ann threads as that's one way for them and their community to exchange their concerns from time to time.

Just dedicate your time in researching what type of casino from here that you want to gamble and see how they're friendly with their customers and how they build rapport with them.
757  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would u get 1 BTC or 52k CASH ? on: February 27, 2024, 08:45:20 PM
I guess everyone's thought have changed and I just realized mine as well. So, if it's $52k cash or 1 BTC.

Upon receiving that 1 BTC at the value of $52k, now it's $57k. Easy $5k profit on an instant without doing that much effort and pressure.

That's probably why it's always been the best choice to choose Bitcoin but again, it depends on the situation per se.
758  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Isn't trading almost like gambling? on: February 27, 2024, 08:12:35 PM
Who's believing that in trading, there's also luck? If yes, then that means that there's really no difference at all. They've got their own nature but they've got their similarities too.

So, as trading with luck and gambling having that too.

As explained about making analysis with trading and gambling, you're doing always the same thing when the mother nature of both is all about taking risk of our money.
759  Other / Off-topic / Re: Easy Success from YouTube on: February 27, 2024, 07:46:41 PM
I think that YouTube has updated their terms with these type of channels. I've read it somewhere that it's not as easy as that with those contents to make money anymore.

I don't know, maybe try to look for those contents explaining that it's not it used to be anymore when YT has updated their policies regarding these contents that are monetizable.

Chinese teams cum back?  Grin

Honestly, they're really strong this time. But let's see on TI or even in the next big tournaments like was it Riyadh Masters where the prize pool is high? Those tournaments do matters.
The Chinese teams are indeed on the rise, at least the top 3 (Xtreme Gaming, Azure Ray, and G2.IG), as they mostly have veteran players who recently returned to the scene.
Don't forget about LGD gaming but yeah, most of them are in a rise again and with the Dream League season 22 it seems that they're not doing good in the group stages but only Xtreme gaming.

Yeah, that's now the points system that they have. Actually, it doesn't really have any difference at all and just the name was changed. It's still the same format that teams get these EPT points and that will be their ticket to a grander tournament by EPT.

There are alot of significance on the current system. Well aside from the points received, I think the huge difference lies on the roster change. There was a huge penalty for team that switch their members throughout the season last year and iirc it carries to negative point eventhough your team is already on 0 point while current any team with 0 point could use unlimited roster exchange whenever they feel the teams are not working as it should be
That's true about roster changes. Look at how tundra esports replaced MC before their match. That's terrible if the organizers are allowing this to happen.

And Timado also shared his thought about it because he came from Tundra too that he's replaced too at the very last minute. Good thing that OG took him as standin.
