741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 21, 2020, 05:28:13 PM
Lahore was 41/0 after 4 overs and now they are 98/4 after 13. That means that they could manage just 57 runs in 9 overs (from 5th to 13th). The spinners made the difference for Multan, after a horrible performance form both the opening bowlers (Sohail Tanvir and Mohammad Irfan) proved very expensive.

BTW... Australia is batting first against South Africa and Steyn got Warner out in the first over.

Yes, we are missing out on other T20 matches which are going at the same time also with the league matches. It was an eventful first over by Steyn where he got one wicket but also conceded two fours, one before the wicket and other after the wicket.

Also today we had  the first Women T20 world cup match and India- W beat Australia - W comfortably. There were not able to chase 132 runs and were all out at 115.

SA after winning toss decided to bowl first and OZ are really batting well with 160/4 in 17 overs . If they can manage to reach 200 then it will be a really good score and SA would really need their openers to fire in first 6 overs else it would add pressure later on . Finch and Smith partnership helped them to get a good base initially.
742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: February 21, 2020, 08:04:47 AM
If someone let gambling to control their daily activities and keep losing their financial status means they don't have control over mind but we can't blame gambling for that since no one forces them to do so,all they were doing by themselves and getting addicted to it for wrong intentions.

It’s one self discipline and control in themself which helps them to stay away from any addiction or in gambling it’s very easy to be addicted as it’s involve money and humans are greedy about it . But moment it becomes a headache for someone the fun part becomes a threat for them and then has many effects of it .

NZ winning the toss and decided rightly to field and result is in front of us as they have picked 5 wickets for score of 122 runs . India would be very disappointed with this start as rain just helped them to take a beak else I think today they would have being all out . Jamieson spell was just amazing and picked 3 wickets out of 5.
744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: February 20, 2020, 05:19:18 PM
The main purpose of I consider is to have fun and enjoyment . But every individual is so different and since it involves money which every one wants to have maximum it has become a job or a routine form any to make as much money from it as possible . In this process they get addicted etc and this becomes a huge threat to them and to their family too because it has too many side effects too .
745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is easier, stop when you are winning or stop when you are losing? on: February 20, 2020, 07:47:50 AM
I like to know your opinion about the question because I believe every gambler has a different way of managing himself.

My answer to the question is I can easily stop when I am winning because I am afraid I might end up with nothing since I know to myself that I am not yet consistent enough to win in gambling, however, based on my experience, I can't easily stop when I am losing despite the fact that I already set up a limit to gamble in a certain day or a certain session.

Do we have the same attitude or not?

I find it much easier to stop then when I am winning a game, I am the kind of gambler that wants to enjoy my winnings by having a drinks or celebration, although I also have control when I am losing but stopping when winning is the hardest thing for me.

The major and hard thing for you is easy which is to stop in losses beacuse human are such that always want money back or play to recover those lost money and only if you have self control can stop it . While when you are winning at the max you lose that winning amount if you continue gambling and then you may stop once you lose all your winning so effectively you lost nothing from your capital side .
746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Assess your gambling addiction level. on: February 20, 2020, 07:24:11 AM
I am happy and content with being at Level 1 beacuse only gamble at time’s when really nothing to do or meeting some friends then we go and have fun. Also the intention is to have fun and enjoy and not to make money from it . If I win then it s a bonus but not dependent on it .
747  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best trading platform? on: February 19, 2020, 05:20:59 PM
Actually there are so many exchanges in market and if you want to got test that which exchanges is best you have to trade or work here. After Binance i basically work in Kucoin, IDEX, Latoken, Hitbtc, Marcatox, youbit...etc.

Binance is one of the highly used exchange by people due to its easy to use and understand , no KYC procedure upto a certain extent , minimal trading fees and also its get lesser when you use their BnB coin in trading fees, good security features make it more convenient to use and considered to be a one of reliable exchanges .
748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 19, 2020, 04:26:00 PM
I think they will have two pacer and two spinner for the first test. Spinners are very effective in test cricket and Newzealand batsmen are not good with spin balling. Though I am not sure who they will select for the first match.

IMO, they will go with 3 pacers and one spinner (plus Ravindra Jadeja, the spin-bowling all rounder). Going with two full-time spinners in addition to Jadeja sounds too much for me. Kiwi batsmen are not very comfortable against the spinners, but then we can't expect spin-friendly surfaces in New Zealand. So 3+1+1 would be a good combination as far as I am concerned.

The pitch I believe would be fast bowler friendly and NZ have good fast paced bowlers then the spinners . So they would like to go with past faces pitch which may trouble Indian batsman more than spinners , as India can play well against spinners. India would also go with 1 full time spinner and then Jadeja would be another option who can bat as well .
749  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency usage will boost economy or make it worst ? on: February 19, 2020, 06:25:24 AM
For me this is a big time revolution beacuse it can solve many problems like fast and easy payment anywhere in the world with minimal fees. It can create self employment as youth can start investing or trading with minimum capital and no need to depend on somebody else to provide them a job . We have seen in past how people have a become self millionaire in bitcoin era and it can continue to be same if government allows or make it legal and support this crypto currency.
750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among us here has been addicted but successfully cured addiction? on: February 19, 2020, 05:14:40 AM
I don't think that addicted gamblers exist in online casinos.
If you are addicted you are going to notice that when you spend a lot of hours in a traditional casino. Otherwise, when you are home in front of your pc you have a lot of distractions around you that can make you stop gambling. You are not going to find a lot of addicted gamblers in here.

I differ from your thought because their are people who are very much addicted to the online gambling and it could be anytime during the day they may gamble depending upon the time the are free. They may be gambling entire night when no one is around or day when people in office . But definite they do find out the time to gamble and do not leave this habit which is a sign that they are addicted .
751  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a leading currency? on: February 18, 2020, 12:15:12 PM
I don't think that bitcoin will become the leading currency. For me, bitcoin is an idea. It will be difficult to use bitcoin in real life. I think stablecoins are more suitable for this.

You are right but i feel it'll not be difficult if you recognize the way to use it properly. Bitcoin is that the first to exchange the market. Many coins have come after Bitcoin but cannot compete with Bitcoin. But hopefully, Bitcoin will still rise through the facility of electricity.

Btc is still the most preferred coin among investors and people who want to buy bitcoin. May be in coming years we would have some other coin which maybe close to bitcoin in terms of demand or so but for now one should always have the btc in their portfolio along with some other stable coins which will be individual’s choice.
752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: February 18, 2020, 12:10:42 PM
Not financial goal but once in my past I had tried to repay my loan through gambling.. I used to make very little money apart from the emi I have to pay and my other expenses.. I tried to gamble and won more than 2 months emi amount. I just cashed them out and saved it for the emi's. I want to try this again but afraid I may lose more than what I can afford.

If you are well balanced monetary wise then before then only you should take that risk else it is better to continue the way you are doing now because their is no guarantee that you would be able to win again like last time. It should not happen that you fall in trouble if you lose the money used to gamble and then have problem in paying EMI.
753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TIPS FOR NEWBIE GAMBLERS ! on: February 18, 2020, 08:18:07 AM
I only suggest that don't let their greed consume them quit while they are still ahead.
I also agree on the last tip gamble for fun most of us always forget that part.
We should enjoy it and don't let it stress us more.

My philosophy is that if you gamble for fun you are stress free and as soon as you start gambling to make money you start to live a stressful life. I mean this is the starting point to have stress because not all would end up making money in gambling. And more you gamble, more you may lose which may impact your financial conditions and you may have a health impact because of it.
754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Leave gambling, if it destroys you. on: February 18, 2020, 08:12:48 AM
Fun fact, you don't have to gamble just cover up your debt.

you wont believe what happen to me before.  before whenever i have a a debt , i always win something big   . take not i dont borrow money to gamble but i borrow money to be used on the house or as allowance because my salary is short   .

i also have a job so i dont depend on gambling to earn  but i only play gambling for fun  .  i just cant believe that i can win  .  ill then wd and pay my debts in advance but if i dont have a debt , i hardly win  . strange  .
It is just a coincident and I think it has nothing to do with your winnings.
I don't get it why would you gamble when you have a debt?
You could just pay your debt instead of gambling the money.

Even I would do the same that first clear off the debt and then only gamble, because I know that if I play in anticipation that I will win and then I can clear off the debt might not happen and eventually I may also loose the money I had it would put me more trouble for me. Instead whatever amount I get every month will pay and clear the debt and once all is cleared then I can gamble if I wish to do it.
755  Economy / Economics / Re: Goverments creating digital currencies - Threat or Opportunity? on: February 17, 2020, 02:27:14 PM
Become an opportunity if government created cryptocurrency and go ahead with listing in bigger exchange market or have own market, then keep continue promoting and looking best partnership for government coin, I think this way will make many investor love and want invest there with higher amount.

This actually gives an opportunity to their country's citizen because it means government would be making it legal or it is legal already and such coins in long term would definitely do better as it is backed by government and in coming times government would be bringing it as a mode of payment for various business and would encourage other people also to make the digital payment. This would boost the demand of such coins and price will rise.

756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't be a hypocrite and admit that you are a gambler on: February 17, 2020, 02:23:35 PM
I don't get it why others would deny it I mean they chose it so why not be proud of it?
There is nothing wrong from being a gambler as long as it wouldn't affect the people around you.

It should not affect to people where in countries it is legal, or their religion does allow to gamble. People who may hide would be the ones where they are not supposed to gamble to due to various reason and still gambling those would be the people who would hide it. Also, I feel that some of them who want’s to remain anonymous to this may hide from their friends and families.

757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crowded Casinos - Play or not? on: February 17, 2020, 10:48:33 AM
Realistically, if a casino isn't crowded, then they're doing something wrong.

This could either mean they're not in a popular location, or they don't play fair.

Also, it could mean that their house edge is too high.

Likewise, having too few punters could force the casino to drive its house edge up, thereby making it less desirable to play at.

I'd avoid a place that isn't crowded tbh.

I think there are quite a few factors which decide in which casinos people gamble. It could be the near to someone residence that may help him to play in that casinos. Second maybe it people may find it luck as they would be winning from that casinos irrespective if it is crowded or not people will continue to go where they considered it lucky for them. People who are just not comfortable with crowd or not able to play properly due to large crowd may not visit such places where they do not enjoy themself.

758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Site's Investing (Is it worth it?) on: February 17, 2020, 06:01:51 AM
If you would gain profit from it then it is worth it,
No matter how small it is a profit is a profit.
It wouldn't be worth it if you could earn more in some other way and in much secure way.

The very first thing that comes to the mind is that how secure it is or is it really trustworthy then one can definitely think about investing in it. Start with the limited capital so that you can be rest assured that you get your returns on time and it is worth investing in it and do invest in the well-known sites which does not run away taking your money in long term.

759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Can Seriously Diminish The Quality Of Your Life. on: February 17, 2020, 05:37:44 AM
Indeed, gambling addiction reduces the quality of life ... Therefore, you should always be able to stop on time!
The same applies to regular trading ... Wink

For people who are addicted to gambling, just cannot resists without it and longer the time one continues to play higher the chances that bets placed would be ending on a loss and not in profits. This means financially one will also lose money, it will hamper the health as well and also in relationship it would be a barrier as you would not be able to give your time.

760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 16, 2020, 04:13:37 PM
There is no way England could loose this match now, South Africa dropped some catches in the field and that is not going to help them, if they want to win matches they need to step up their fielding standards, at one point of time they were the epitome of fielding standards but now i am seeing many dropped chances by their fielders and Eoin Morgan played a match winnings innings after a long time as he was scoring boundaries with ease and now they won the series and all the matches were really close and entertaining.

England won the match with 5 balls to spare.

We have witnessed some of the scintillating batting by bairstow, butler and Morgan who had hit the boundaries all across the park and never allowed SA bowlers to settle down . England were always on the top inspite of losing an early wicket of Roy . England won the series by 2-1.
