761  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be responsible for your coin on: December 12, 2022, 10:37:30 PM
I like the way how those CEOs gain attention from the public, it might I'm thinking now that most of them want attention from the public which is also what CZ did as the CEO of Binance.  We know that there's competition in a centralized exchange in a crypto space right now just for example the recent drama on FTX and Binance which is revealing their secrets to the public.  But this one is the right approach which is true, we should be responsible for our funds not holding for a long term on the exchange wallet.

Responsible users may start to think now that centralized exchange isn't good for storing Bitcoin, it's always good in a non-custodial wallet where no intermediaries will involve.  It's a good marketing strategy to increase their trust.
762  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price 2023 on: December 11, 2022, 11:59:30 PM
I have encountered so many times this kind of question until I realized that we should let it be what will happen, the future's not ours to see. (watch this)
We don't have a crystal ball to predict in the future but one thing that I can assure you, once we have a previous ATH it will for sure happen next in the future without any time frame.

If you invested today and keep watching the market, I may advise you to invest in a DCA way so that you will still have a chance to get a profit when there's a bull trend in the market.  If you believe in Bitcoin, you should have no doubt about it to keep investing and keep holding your portfolio.
763  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please be ready on: December 11, 2022, 11:31:05 PM
I just want to say hello. In a hundred+ years they will look back on what "Satoshi" did in absolute awe. We're here now ladies and gentlemen!!!! Just appreciate it!!! We are living through one of the most important times in human history. Bitcoin is a real store of interplanetary value.
It might also we're a part of the history since we're here in the forum which is the origin forum of Bitcoin and we're a part of the history.
Regret might be what they will feel when they look back on what satoshi did when the Bitcoin price will triple compared to a past all-time high.  Most likely people did store the value of Bitcoin and when everyone does the same, for sure the demand and supply will take effect.

I'm glad to see people like you who have inspiration like this, which seems I think you better understand Bitcoin very well.
Let's hope there are more people like you.
764  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful ! on: December 11, 2022, 11:15:49 PM
So it means when you have funds in Binance it's easy to steal from other people or if your account it's been compromised it could be hackers will be quickly withdrawn your fund.  Thanks for the reminder, but fortunately this wasn't happening on my account and I think that's a bug in their system when you activate that notification the security system didn't go through.

From the second image its clear that these security features are not deactivated so there is no chance for compromise here. So you had whitelisted your address which let you to withdraw without need of any authentication since the amount is small.
I didn't know this feature they have, so anyone can tell how much the maximum amount that allows you to withdraw without verification as long as you had been whitelisted, it could be dangerous to us even if that's a small amount.
765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest Scam History in the Cryptocurrency on: December 10, 2022, 11:59:31 PM
There are a lot of scams that happened in the past which are considered the biggest scam in history in crypto.

These aren't directly to the scam projects but in general, they would be considered the biggest scam too.
  • Bitcoin doublers
  • Social media celebrity hacked and scammed many followers

Easy money and greedy people was usually a victim of those scams.
766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My first sponsored Bitcoin seminar on: December 10, 2022, 11:51:06 PM
Great one there, but I hope you didn't force any of those viewers and learners to invest in Bitcoin.
Bitcoin should never be forced onto people. That's what the government is for - to force you to adapt to what suits them or what they call a greater cause. People are supposed to make the switch voluntarily and naturally after learning the difference between bitcoin and traditional finance. Understanding that you need nobody else but yourself to move money to any place in the world is a powerful message. All we can do is to educate and share information about the advantages of this alternative financial system. But like satoshi himself said in a post, "if you don't understand it, I have no time to explain it to you". I am sure I got the quote wrong, but it's something like that.
Here's a quote of what exactly satoshi said.
If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

I tend to agree with you, I also did the same as what you said.
I have a neighbor that willing to learn crypto, especially Bitcoin and I saw her interest to know more and explore what Bitcoin is.  On the other hand, it's the opposite of my cousin who doesn't like to know about crypto because of the scams that he heard about.  This tory the same as the OP shared which we didn't force anyone who didn't like to learn.
767  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I be an exchanger and is it allowed? on: December 10, 2022, 11:27:57 PM
I want to ask, is this kind of thing allowed in this forum?
Also, is there any way we can make our reputation good and be trusted by consumers?
Yes, it's allowed as people said above, this forum might be your stepping stone to achieving trust in the user or building your trust.
You can maybe gain your trust here while advertising your project, there are a lot of users here doing business while staying here in the forum, like lending services.  But of course, since you're a newbie here in the forum you need to be patient while running your service here.

Well, good luck with your business and be careful of a possible scams.
768  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Affiliate signature campaign on: December 10, 2022, 11:16:22 PM
How is this new experiment of affiliate signature campaign going on?
I would like to ask the participants if they've earned from affiliation since they joined that signature campaign.

Code:
Rigon
electronicash
karabiber
impulese709
avp2306
Ararbermas
Freeveto
Subbir
Dubaian

Just wondering if that campaign successfully working or just a win-win situation for the casino but zero benefits for the participants.
769  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Coin mixing vs coin joining vs Monero converting on: December 10, 2022, 03:36:47 PM
You can include a P2P exchange for this which I believed it's safe and effective to cover your anonymity.
As long as you're using a decentralized exchange no one can track your identity.

theymos created this thread [Guide] Decent mixing methods which I think will give you an insight into anonymity comparison between monero and coinjoin or mixing coin.

However, not only a single transaction will make your transactions becomes anonymous which is my choice IMO in Monero converting.
Just sell your Bitcoin to Monero multiple times using different amounts or split your Bitcoin into different transactions with different (x) amounts and buy Monero and when you have Monero, just sell it for Bitcoin.  It might that would be solved the anonymity case, IMO.
770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Here Another Reason Why Bitcoin Is So Important To Humanity on: December 08, 2022, 11:46:27 PM
Ain't know how Bitcoin will solve this problem when you're a business, which seems a bank account is very important when you have a business.
Though Bitcoin is really helpful to alternate fiat, it doesn't you can rely on it, the government will always ask about your taxation which is IRS recommends having a bank account to make it easier to keep records.  AFAIK, every bank has different fee structures and features such as business and personal have different limitations which as business accounts typically have higher fees and minimum balance requirements.

My advice is always to separate your personal bank account from your business account.

It might you can keep some of your assets in Bitcoin and that would the case can help Bitcoin us but if your main purpose is to use Bitcoin and replace it with fiat, there's nothing you can do.
771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One Month of Accepting Bitcoin for Payment on: December 06, 2022, 11:59:17 PM
For any kind of business, Bitcoin acceptance is always a good decision, but first, you need to understand first the consequences of it.  For example, when the price were drop, you need to have patience in holding your coin in your wallet not exchange it for fiat.

Congratulations on your business that came up with Bitcoin acceptance, I've in my mind now also accept Bitcoin in my small business the same as yours but still thinking about what payment processor I use.  Also thinking if in it is an off-chain transaction is good or a Lighting Network.
772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase wallet stops support for XRP, ETC, XLM and BCH on: December 06, 2022, 11:50:26 PM
this is obvious decision coming from big platform like coinbase these coins that gets delisted are quite literally just losing their volume slowly but sure, I think eventually the other platform like kucoin and binance gonna do the same if they listed the coin in the first place, it's certainly better that someone should ditch this coin and invest in newer coins that's basically guarantees more return instead of holding the coin that just losing its fame and popularity.
Yes, because of the citing low usage but it doesn't mean you can't use these 4 coins once delisted.
It's only on the Coinbase wallet but still you can purchase it on Coinbase pro.  Just only removing support, doesn't mean you can't access it.

Sometimes this really happens on exchange when there's low usage or has minimal trading volume on that coins.

Another reason could be these.
  • XRP - SEC issue
  • BCH, XLM and ETC --fork coin issue
773  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My Questions about Bitcoin investment and Mining. on: December 06, 2022, 11:13:42 PM
Hello everyone Being in this forum and reading through the various conversations there made me very happy. I can see a lot of discussions about investing in bitcoin and the current bear market. A lot of people are making comments about the bear market, which was brought on by the crashes of some coins like FTX and Luna. I'm curious as to what sets Bitcoin apart from these other coins. Considering that it's been said that Bitcoin won't be impacted and will continue to grow, what are the key difference between the two Bitcoin and other coins?
You mixed up the name of the failure exchange and the shitcoin, it might there's an FTX token but not a coin.
You're right about what you've heard, the Bitcoin price won't impact what happens to those shitcoins.  You should stick to Bitcoin, not altcoins or shitcoins which is a perfect example is LUNA, many people trust this project but now they're failures.

Quote
The second is about Bitcoin mining; what is the difference between investing in bitcoin and mining bitcoin, or are they interchangeable? If you do not wish to purchase, will you mine your own Bitcoin?
Please accept my apologies if the question appears unclear; I am very confused, which is why I ask. Thank you very much.
You can mine Bitcoin but think first about the cost and the expenses before you will own a Bitcoin, it's must own a big initial capital before you can operate mining.  While on the other hand Bitcoin investing, all you need to do is to keep your wallet safe and hold it for a long period of time.
774  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BASIC TRADING UNDERSTANDING on: December 06, 2022, 10:58:35 PM
There are a lot of people who say, trading is very easy to study and give analysis but when it's actual trading, it's tougher than we expected.
Trading isn't for everyone and those people who haven't passionate about trading won't really understand what's trading though you teach them what is basic in trading.

I would rather go into investing because I feel safe in that way and less risky than trading, all you've to do is to wait until the bull market comes though the profit isn't determined in exact time.

There are a lot of tutorials now in trading that you can simply understand on Youtube, I prefer watching tutorials to reading articles.
775  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Price Hit $23,000 in Q1 2023? on: December 05, 2022, 11:59:35 PM
Though no one knows what exactly happen by next year but based on what I've witnessed in the past few years, during that time Bitcoin isn't in a bull season.  From the Chinese new year which commonly people spending their Bitcoin and it might be converted into fiat, and also there are a lot of activities that people make spend their Bitcoin for other reasons in spending their Bitcoin.

It could be in the second quarter which is also based on my observation Bitcoin price increase until 3rd quarter.  I think that time most commonly Bitcoin increases the price.

So IMO, the chances of a Bitcoin price that will reach that amount might unlikely happen.
776  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Safest Exchanges in the World on: December 05, 2022, 11:35:25 PM
I almost put money in FTX. Glad i did not.
Thank god. It is FTX turn this time, who knows what happen in the future. Your sentence can easily change to "I almost put money in Binance. Glad I did not."
I think there's no problem if your intention is to trade and then withdraw them all later after your session on exchange but storing it in a long term isn't a good decision.

People or traders embraced CEX just because of these pros.
  • High Liquidity
  • High Trading Volume
  • High Trasaction Speed

But storing your fund in CEXs for the long term isn't ideal.
777  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Day Trading on: December 05, 2022, 11:10:23 PM
Maybe we have here on Sythe some experienced traders who could share some tips or couch a little bit?
There are too many groups now in crypto trading but to tell you, I quit joining them because sometimes they give misleading information.
I would rather have my own research that won't distract my own analysis because too many ideas and opinions which becomes you'll confuse which of them you'll follow.

Quote
Also, would someone be interested to make a Discord server together and do analysis, learn and improve in trading together? I believe that would be easier.
That's not easy as that.
But it's up to you if you're willing to spend time listening to them even though you know they're also speculating the market the same as yours.

Quote
Even if I lose my entire account over and over again I keep coming back in a crypto trading, because that's the only thing I'm really curious and passionate about.
Learn those mistakes that will happen again in the future.  Trading isn't all about gaining profit, sometimes we need this experience to learn and become better in the next trading session.
778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should be my fear? on: December 05, 2022, 10:49:40 PM
As a newbie who has a little knowledge of cryptocurrency but much interest in purchasing bitcoin for a long time Hodl, since the purchasing capital is not included in my spendable budget and the price of bitcoin is not very high at the moment 16k, what should be my fear?

Pls, advise me.
It could be when the time comes you need most of your funds but the price of Bitcoin was still below $16k.
That was the most common young investors fear when they will sell their Bitcoin at a cheaper price because they can't able to hold it long enough because they also need money.

Invest only that you can afford the amount because if you believe that Bitcoin will reach $60k back by next year, it's really possible to happen because we've been there before.  Anytime soon Bitcoin price will make another all-time high which is we don't know the exact time frame.  That's why holding in the long term and aiming your goal of making a profit would be an ideal way of holding Bitcoin.
779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone know anything about YoBit? The exchange? on: December 04, 2022, 11:59:14 PM
I tend to agree with most replies above, we have a lot of threads here against them, a scam accusation, and their shitty activities.
A house of scams and shitcoins that shouldn't trust.

A little bit off-topic but it's related to Yobit.
I've joined a group in my local that used my local wallet (Coins.ph) they said, their account now has been banned and restricted to transact funds because they are receiving crypto that comes from the Yobit exchange.  So it's possible that their wallet has been a red flag from other custodial exchanges?

Apparently they’ve never been hacked?
They've never been hacked but are full of shit.

Quote
Anyone in the community know more about YoBit? Has anyone done any due diligence on them? Are they trustworthy?
They're very well-known here for being an untrustworthy exchange.
780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Phase two(2) : Bitcoin Promotion and Adoption in my locality. on: December 04, 2022, 11:40:47 PM
I taught him how to set up a bitcoin wallet, the easiest to be precise so he could easily understand and do it himself, copy and send his wallet address to his customers for payment. As earlier mentioned above, I also told and showed him the difference between private keys, public keys  and transaction harsh so he could get acquainted to them all.
This is a very crucial part if they didn't know how to create a good wallet to store their Bitcoin because it isn't enough for them to learn only for Bitcoin usage and earning, it should be how to protect their asset from scammers and possibly scams.

That's a good initiative, if you keep the right way how to use and how to keep Bitcoin, there are more people who become educated to avoid those negative consequences ahead, because of these scams that still exist in the crypto space it gives a shit on the image of Bitcoin or the entire crypto market.
