ok guys, trust me on this one.. if ur going to do an algorithm change.. use groestl algo. it will be better for the coin's value. also Magi team if you remember me from when you first made this coin.. i suggested you try to implement POS technology. i still stand by this suggestion. it will help your currency attract more investors and exchanges.
the x11 protocol has been exploited via a method found to submit fake shares. and x13 is much more heat intensive than x11 and less efficient. groestl is the best and coolest running algorith atm.

well, whats weird is trading on bittrex for veil seems healthy and strong and the mining has not slowed,,, matter of fact crypto trader tweets buy veil for th e next 24 hrs. and make 30-50 %? lol maybe our pool should switch to veil, x13 mod tho,,,,

For what its worth this is my tuppence worth:
1) Irrespective of whether other exchanges list Minerals I hope people still stand by C-CEX.
2) Should other exchanges do see the light I hope Minerals believers continue to hold and not dump on those exchanges if price jumps.
3) This could and should be a watershed moment in the altcoin arena with Minerals being the pioneering gold standard of FDC.
im holding and buying more atm. i see no reason to sell this late in the 2000 satoshi sales. we going up guys. regarding decentralized in-wallet exchange we could vote as a community for it to be coded in such a way that the dev collects a small trading fee for all trades that take place using the wallet. that way he can get some decent recompense for his work. we can decide if this fee will go to him personally or if it can be at least partly used to go into an address reerved as the community development fund. I like that idea btw, and speaking of dev I hope he is enjoying a Sunday afternoon away from his PC , he deserves a break,, but just for today lol, back to work tomorrow! j/k  indeed. we will do our best to reward him as a community for his work. but i sense he is the type to be taking some initiative and working on getting a headstart on some of our most demanded projects. we will do them all.. anon, wallet services, tournaments and betting as well as decentralized exchange. and let's also keep in mind encrypted messaging.. due to veil's failure as a scamcoin we still have an opportunity to be the first coin with encrypted voicechat. |

A lot of persons paid astronomical prices for a coin just created, without infrastructures, without informations, immediatly listed in the exchanges with nothing as value. Only the rush for a blind, quickly profit. If this coin is a scam, then I think that the only person with a brain here is the dev
i hear you... saying that the only reason ppl bought this coin is because theyre stupid and didnt do their due dilligence. u support the scam behaviour and monopolizing of crypto by pool owners and their crypto mafia. it will all come tumbling down. |

Things are changing fast in the world of Altcoins, Ive been browsing the litecoin thread.
People saying litecoin is dead etc.
I look at bittrex, buy orders and sell orders for litecoin are in the fractions of a litecoin.
What the hell is going on in Crypto.
1) Litecoin Dead or at least flatlining.
2) Bittrex behaving badly and not adding minerals.
3) Pumping and Dumping continues despite 90% of the Crypto community getting burnt (they keep coming back for more punishment)
4) Whales hold all the BTC.
.... I could go on but what Im trying to do is work out the best thing for Minerals right now.
Sure its great as an e-gaming betting currency but what about using it to transfer funds?
Meditate on this, I will.
yeah i bailed on my litecoin stash. its got nothing going on. old outdated technology. i was planning to hold it but decided id be better off just reinvesting the btc somewhere else. and well.. so said.. so done. i think we need to stop saying that word now. forget about the "bittrex". we have other things we can do. let that society of 150 play to become overlords of crypto.. their days are numbered. i will consider releasing my fair solo mining info to crypto. this allows small hash to mine amongst much larger hash whilst still being able to gain a share without the need for pools. so everyone can just solomine. no more pools.. no more of any kind of centralization. very interesting.... Keeping an eye out for that  well atm i am holding it for the development of the coin project in the link in my signature. it is part of a superior distribution than minerals. one that doesnt have any hash limiting etc. asics can get coins, gpus can get coins and even cellphones can get coins. Put me down for that, it certainly cant be any worse than what Im seeing right now. IPO? LOL! considering the coin also receives the same negativity and resistance and it hasnt even been formed yet im sure you all will recognize my reasons for not wanting to release pioneering technology in the wild. click the link in my signature to see the thread and show your support. no there wont be a formal ipo structure. but i am considering to reward initial investors who actually helped get the coin coded and brought to the release plate with a pre-calculated pre-mine that should be fair based on their investment. |

veil just launched and is now listed on bittrex in less than 24hrs since launch. all based on just the promise of encrypted voicechat. to compete in this market minerals must also aspire to include all demanded technologies with concurrent projects.

no one is begging? I don't care if they ever list it, I hope they don't,, screw em! lol, and I hope they wont list any future FDC coins either. Let the lines get drawn now and lets start building up MIN for starters and more like it will follow. and lets all support the exchanges that have supported us here. I'm excited about the prospects of a new avenue for miners. Folks can make there choices, yes and even the big farms can participate to a degree with FDC's and point the rest of their miners at the other guys if they must, I know they have to make money on their investments to,,, I kinda have a small fortune wrapped up in various mining gear also, but I am an ethical person that is driven by principle not greed ill keep voting on mintpal and maybe next monday we can have at least a position among the top contenders to be listed. think we may have to plan for the next cycle and not this one. which is fine. because i estimate min to be 4k+ by then. hopefully polo lists it and i can vote there too. i think our dev is here for the long haul. those of us who mined the coin dont have a problem with it.. and everyone got a chance to mine the coin. that was the point. everyone who wanted some coin got a fair chance to mine some. and if that's not fair well i dont know english anymore. anyway.. i support the sports betting thing i see it has alot in the community interested in it. and it looks like the community almost equally recognizes the need for anonymity. we could at least do both of them ;p i've already got some plans and routes for merchant acceptance but i will wait a bit until the coin has some more rigid infrastructure to support it. |

but i had thought up these features completely independently.
Yes, and i am Mr Nakamoto. no need for that. i voiced these technologies back in late december early january on various trollboxes. but mostly on coinex.pw it was a very active trollbox and i wouldnt be surprised to see a dev picked up on them. at the time, everyone was still giddy with scryptcoins and .1btc per day per mh mining profitability. that's just how forward i think. i still have more unnamed technology and this coin will be built like no other. if someone does release a coin that uses my design(someone else could think it up maybe same way they did for encrypted text and voicechat.) i will post it to this thread. there are technologies i didnt think up myself which carry high demand in crypto. such as anonimized transactions. but all coins will struggle much harder if the distribution is unfairly balanced for all involved. and also, as asic power grows.. larger farms will have the ability to suck even more investment out of asic-mineable coins driving their value even lower. my coin solves this problem.. allowing the asics to mine at max potential whilst the value of the coin is still allowed to grow. u understand this coin couldve been the first coin to announce voicechat. and there is still the opportunity to announce more before someone else figures out the same idea. as coins come out with technologies that i planned to implement into this coin i will reveal them in this thread. however, i highly doubt anyone will be able to match my distribution model. making this coin the strongest. |
