761  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis like 1930 it's impossible now we are use to with good life on: September 01, 2023, 06:11:27 PM
I get to understand the point of what you're saying. We're living in the modern day so basically life is truly better than of 30's.

With vast opportunity and with the help of modern technology, anyone can do the impossible before like working for someone who's from offshore and just stay at home and work all day long sitting in front of his computer in his bed room.

But you know what's the problem these days aside from economic status of each individual? The stress has gotten bigger than before. And that's like a stress reliever when someone eat out and treat themselves to release the stress hormones.

Although it's not that as luxury as what you're saying, typical living is still enough for someone but can't afford a luxurious life. We tend to be more grateful these days as we've gone through a lot.

I feel bad for Blacklist, they're almost there on the 3rd map but SMG managed to comeback.

I feel that too but SMG is consistent and persistent.
Yeah, if we're going to talk about team work. Well, they've done that very well and that's something new that we've seen with SMG because with their old roster, that's not how they play and they were having hard time in closing a game even if they're leading it.

Still good finish for a team on its first year in competitive DOTA. Maybe they will do better next  year.
Not bad but feeling bad.

Hopefully that they won't just disband as they're like a favorite team in the SEA but they're not just good enough. I wish them too that they should be better on the next season.

I'd like to greet Betcoin for celebrating their 10th year anniversary. That's such a long period of time of operation and you're still rocking it while I've witnessed the others that have been gone out of business so this is really an achievement that must be celebrated.

Congratulations.

There will be September 4-16, we just need to log in and claim the daily free bets
Thanks, @everyone do not forget to about this.  Wink

Leaderboard Competitions? need to adjust the minimum bet hahahaa
It's gonna be a 4-week long leaderboards competition. I'll advise everyone to check the link about the bonuses for their 10th year anniversary promos. A lot of prizes to be given away.

But it seems that SMG will win on this 2nd map that they're with. The KDA is 14-3 in favor of SMG.

SMG qualified for the SEA region and kinda unexpected that Noone moved to SEA then somehow qualified to TI with it, this guy cant even carry Old G in the 2nd division but he was doing pretty well in SMG. I guess there is a whole lot of difference in playing in the toughest region compared to the other region. Lost my bet on this, I thought it would be pretty close of atleast over 3.5 maps

Now I need Secret to win the next game against Quest
Well done for Team SMG and noone. It's a blessing in disguise that the Old G won't proceed because Ceb has played for OG and unluckily, OG has been out of the qualifier.

While his new team, SMG, they did well into this qualifier. Despite being a team that has new qualifiers, they've proven themselves to be a worthy of this spot.

I feel bad for Blacklist, they're almost there on the 3rd map but SMG managed to comeback.
765  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: NEWBIES: Balancing security risk. on: August 31, 2023, 09:36:36 AM
IMHO, you don't have to do complex things just to protect yourself, your coins and seeds. What you need to focus with is the way you monitor your daily browsing and activities using your devices.

Being aware of the risk and having a basic knowledge on how to protect yourself from the attacks and how you can potentially be hacked would be a good start.

I do understand why many does complex things because of the history that they've been. But yeah, simplicity is beauty as they say and if it's related to security.
766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: August 31, 2023, 07:51:57 AM
In the SEA qualifiers, I want to take Geek Fam but I changed it to over 2.5 @1.88 because almost all of their series in the lower brackets have gone 2-1 and then possibly roll everything over on SMG to win the finals once the lines are up.
It's on the finals now.

Blacklist won against Geek Fam in the lower bracket and now we're in the grand finals, it's BLR against SMG. SMG won the first game and then, it's on the second game now.

But it seems that SMG will win on this 2nd map that they're with. The KDA is 14-3 in favor of SMG.
767  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Today marks 9 years since the death of Bitcoin first pioneer Hal Finney on: August 30, 2023, 09:40:32 PM
Yeah so many persons has it that he is the real satoshi
And if that ever may be, that's why we're not going to see satoshi anymore and have been successfully retain his privacy and anonymity.

but  to me is all based on assumptions because no actual proof that he is the one, so until then nobody knows his real identity, so may soul rest in peace
No proof but he's truly the closest one to be hiding in that alias/pseudonym. And one reality is that, we'll never know who the real satoshi is and we'll never see Hal again.  Sad
768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [JUST IN] Grayscale wins lawsuit against the SEC on: August 30, 2023, 08:37:41 PM
Oh, that's why I'm surprised to see that there's a sudden push and green on the charts. Thanks!

I hope that this is just the start of the signal for the bull run. And upon winning the lawsuit against SEC, the chance and positivity of having a Bitcoin ETF from other applicants are also likely to get pushed.

What's next for the market? $30k to $100k? I miss the people that talks about the moon lol.
I was also very surprised, because I just saw the Bitcoin price hit 28k before and maybe a few hours ago I saw it was still 26k. And this is really surprising and exciting news after Grayscale finally officially won their lawsuit, and this news will make Bitcoin price continue to rise up to 30k in the near future.
and Victory against SEC is one of the good news for investors and regain their faith in Bitcoin, and their doubts have cleared and will come back to collect more Bitcoin to continue 100k.
It will be back to $30k but for now, it's starting a bit of overwhelmed so it has to correct a little. While this lawsuit that has won against SEC for the ETF, other companies prolly have taken a huge chance and have more hope on this one.

Obviously I miss it too but this is simply because it is not the right time yet for this to happen, a bull run is not made by a single event, instead it is a combination of factors, and the starting signal for this to happen is the halving, so while this is a positive news I do not think this is going to signal the start of long and sustained upward trend, however it is nice to see the price recovering as with this the bitcoin I bought a week ago is already producing profits for me.
Yeah, there will be more of this and we need more of that. The combination of these events will push the price after the halving. And that's the factor that will have everything signalled.

If we've been in the drop recently, it won't last and there's going to be some recovery needed.
769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Constant wins in the casino for several days, then constant losses. Noticed?! on: August 30, 2023, 07:30:53 PM
But when the winning session comes, on this day many slots give you a solid win, it is impossible to lose. This successful session can last several days.
As soon as this ends, absolutely all slots begin to take money.

How do you win and lose?
If this happened to you then that's nice that you're able to prove that it's unlikely to lose. But as what the majority is saying, you just can be on the part of having an impossible way of losing because no matter what you do, you'll still lose at the end of it.

What you're probably saying is about the winning streak. And yes, that's just a streak and there will be an end for it but you'll not know unless you see and losses.

Though your OG bet is looking good. OG is destroying the Ancient Tribe. They have dominated the first map right from the draft and the lanes. They have snowballed and are now in a comfortable 17K gold lead. I do not think Ancient Alliance will be able to turn this around. They drafted very poorly and now OG is punishing them for that.
Those two games of OG and Ancient Tribe were like consolation for the OG, easy games to be honest.

Watching the qualifiers again on WEU with Team Secret and Entity. Entity has dominated the game one but it's a good match to watch. It's currently on game 2 and maybe Secret will recover and have their revenge game.

Luna Galaxy beat Quest Esports. LG is now in the finals of the upper bracket. Wow!
772  Economy / Speculation / Re: How passionate are you buying Bitcoin now? on: August 29, 2023, 10:59:05 AM
I draw my inspiration from the saying: "you will regret more for opportunities you never took than those you took and they went bad"
We hear these from the old folks that have regret in the past and didn't follow what they think is right. And for us, Bitcoin has came as once in a life opportunity so we better take the risk or just watch it grow together with those people that have risked what they've got for it.

We don't have to be that passionate about it whether we buy or not. Although at some point of our lives, we're like that and we don't notice that. The fact that we're holders and we're believing to its future is already a way to say that we're passionate on it.

While for OP that he's buying it not with his spare money, it is like the majority that's buying Bitcoin with their hard earned money and that's how everyone can be said to be passionate about buying it.
773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Gambling to the society on: August 28, 2023, 04:32:18 PM
Gambling is able to generate revenue for many countries where gambling is legal but not for all countries.  Because in the country where a gambling is conducted gamblers lose when they gamble. then the money goes to that country.  People from all over the world gamble especially in online casinos. So the money of different countries goes to that country. It may play an important role for that country but not for the society. Gambling perversely destroys a society.
IMO, all countries that gambling is allowed are generating money from taxes so that makes it as the lifeblood of the country especially if their main source of service is gambling like Monaco, Macao and other cities that have became a gambling hub.

While for the society, you said the truth about it. As we see the benefit for the majority or for the country itself, the impact of it also has a recoil not for the economy directly but for its citizens that are experiencing gambling addiction and losses a lot of money. So they also lose their purchasing and consumption power.
774  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is greeting important in your culture? on: August 28, 2023, 03:21:52 PM
In my culture greeting is important, it is a sign of respect and humility. What about in your culture?
The same goes with mine. It feels like that you're connected to the person that you greet whether they're strangers or by standers that you're passing by.

It also shows that you're an approachable person if you're the one who's greeting.

Honestly, I am the type of person that don't really greet at all but it seems that this action is contagious and it's like that you have to pass it on whenever it does and do it.
775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Not your keys, not your coins", What's the threshold before it fails? on: August 28, 2023, 11:49:36 AM
Let us say that it represents the entire world and that survey has been made for many respondents, being in 81% was already a lot of percentage for those people that are trusting the cold storage of the banks instead of keeping it on their own.

I guess we still got some faith on the other side that won't move their bitcoins and will eventually change when some news about hacks do happen.

As long as there's 1% or more that are going in the right path, we can't say that bitcoin has failed.
776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Still not a safe practice even if it works on: August 28, 2023, 09:49:38 AM
I have seen a few pieces of content online that are saying Stake, Fortune Jack, Casino Gap and few others are VPN-friendly.

Are users on here agreeing on these few mentioned online casino? I am asking this because I believe those who still use VPN on these casinos are not safe.

Because using a VPN is not openly acceptable by these online casinos, there is no where it's written on their website, I know readers might feel like, why would they wrote such on their website when the law isn't permitting such?

Well, what will stop them from using this against you too as a gambler? Bypassing restrictions is not the problem, but it was never allowed officially, meaning you should accept whatever will be thrown in your face.

What do you think?
Much better to read their TOS or ask them directly if they're allowing that. Having that clarification will give you the idea if that's really allowed or not.

And when they does then those influencers are right. If not, then that means that you just saved yourself from obtaining misinformation and you're able to clear it before you even does.

Some of them aren't really allowing it but I know that there are those that allows it, it's just all about checking it actually from those casinos per se.

This is often the problem with newbies creating topics, most of them run off after opening them. If they were online, they would've seen that blunder and corrected same immediately. Since opening this thread, OP hasn't come back to read and assimilate what's said here. They disappeared online barely four minutes after making that post. Perhaps they've missed their way here or they merely posted for the sake of it for what it's.
Well, I can't agree more.

A lot of them creates thread and then never come back or give engagement to the topic that they've made. I just wish that he's enjoying the weekend and will be back on this weekdays.

A day has passed so I'm still hopeful that he'd be back and get to see the replies to this thread he made.
778  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am I using the right plan? on: August 27, 2023, 09:41:32 PM
As long as you've been vocal to them and have expressed your thoughts that they should be careful on what they've discovered then you shouldn't be feel any guilt anymore.

Sometimes people have to learn the harshes and most expensive way when they've been warned and yet, they have never listened to the people that were just concerned about them.

I've got personal experiences the same as yours and warn friends of mine when they seem to be optimistic about it. When I step in and tells them that they have to avoid these easy money schemes, it's like I'm kicked out of the friendship but that's fine and it doesn't matter to me.
779  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Careless Trading on: August 26, 2023, 10:55:02 PM
When you go into the market you are actually going against these guys. Like I said they have their interest and are bent to achieve it. You cannot just go into the market without understanding what these persons are doing or what position they are taking. This in-turn we shape your trading and give you informed decision that we make you profit.
That's why you need to play by their books and at the same time, you need to prioritize your concern at most times which is to make a profit regardless of these factors.

It is carelessness to trade without a plan as the financial market is too risky.
Well, for those experienced traders, sometimes they make trades without even planning it. They just look on their day to day charts and market then decides what to buy.

Wait for a few minutes to see the liquidity of what they've bought and just do whatever is necessary. But yeah, having no plans is like throwing and wasting money in trading, be it in the crypto market or any other markets.

The Eastern Europe Qualifier seems to be easy for Virtus Pro, there's not that much competition for them there. It's only NaVi that have put stain on their record for beating them once.

But majority of their matches have been a sweep and in finals, it's 3-0 for them against One Move. Seems easy.

Congratulations!

Congratulations to them, they really dominated that region. It is good to see that they are back in TI.
They did and that's because some of their toughest possible competition and opponent were already qualified through DPC points. If it's not for the DPC points, they won't get in but they deserve to be in so again, they did well and good game to them and as well as One Move.

South America is about to end their Regional Qualifiers as well. It is now the Lower Bracket Semifinals between Thunder Awaken and Mad Kings. Mad Kings got the first win on the first map of their series. It was a long game because Thunder Awaken was able to give good defense and Mad Kings cannot attack the high ground. The second map will be interesting if Thunder Awaken is able to tie the series.

On the Lower Bracket finals, Acatsuki is already waiting. Acatsuki was dropped to lower bracket by Keyd Stars yesterday. Keyd Stars are already qualified for TI. Another slot is available for the winner of the Lower Bracket finals.
While for this region, Keyd Stars is already qualified so another congratulations to them. And for the other slot is being competed by Acatsuki and Thunder Awaken.

First win belongs to Thunder Awaken.
