781  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price hitting 30k twice this year. on: June 22, 2023, 03:53:01 PM
~snip~
Do you you think it's going to plummet again or do better above 40k? Or is just one of a tempting rise to fall again even below the

Take a coin, pick heads or tails and flip it. It all comes down to guessing whether bulls or bears will have better luck in their intentions. For me personally, it's not the time for some big bull run, although it's obvious that something is brewing in the US kitchen, and the question is whether something will really happen or if the market just reacted to the news too optimistically.

Regardless of the enthusiasm with BlackRock, Fidelity or some other big company, I hope that people do not think that they are interested in Bitcoin because they consider it good and necessary, but are only interested in profit. Just as they have the power to pump up the price of BTC, they also have the power to do a lot of damage to the same.
I don't think the big companies will do any damage for bitcoin. It's not in their interest. Although they can undoubtedly drop the price for a while to get a chance to buy cheap coins. But now that they are here, they undoubtedly have a strong interest in bitcoin to make a profit. So in the future the prices will be much higher than they are now.
782  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for June on: June 22, 2023, 03:12:42 PM
Locked the poll as I think we have somewhat captured the ruling 'sentiment of the month' of the people who goes in this thread, which at the first couple weeks of the month, I mostly really agree with...

Now I think sentiment will slowly change to bullish the more BTC claws its way higher and slowly fights its way thru 30k - 32k resistance.  If it breaks out, I think we're looking at 36k - 37k resistance next.

I'm still sticking to my sideways vote Tongue

Now we are approaching the peak of previous resistance, I'm sceptical it'll break in the coming days or even next week. I also find it unlikely price will consolidate at this higher level until the end of the month at resistance, even if possible. I still think it's likely the month will end around $27K / $28K for a minor green candle, but a doji one generally signalling indecision/continuation ie "sideways" (down/up/down).

Don't get me wrong would be happy for price to clear the recent highs and reach $36K level, which would probably be the next immediate target, but after confirming the $30K area as one year long resistance, it might well take a few more weeks or months to finally get above it. If price action in March is anything to go by then the opposite is true, as this 6 month resistance was swiftly broken, but this is yet to be seen.

One thing I do find interesting is that so far this year's price action can be summarised as follows:

January to February: $15K to $25K (+$10K)
March to April: $20K to $31K (+$11K)
June to July?: $25K to $37K? (+$12K?)

Just a theory, but by next month price could certainly reach $35K to $37K if this years 6 month momentum simply continues...

Nono it's fine...  I'd like to see the price a lot higher than were it is too.  I mean who doesn't?  Wink  But we also can't just let go and say 'woohoo we at the bull market, to the moon'...  Lol.

As for 37k, I wanna see BTC break above 31k - 32k resistance then go down to test it as support.  If it's solid and it holds then that's another good spot to go long.
If you look at bitcoin's historical cycles, 15k was probably the bottom and the price will not return to that area again. Usually a bull market would happen about a year before the halving, but without reaching a new ATH. I think we will see a price increase in the next half year.
783  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for June on: June 21, 2023, 04:05:41 PM
From 26,000$ to almost 30,000$ in a single shot!

That has been an impressive bullish movement happening since yesterday. Now the challenge is to break the 30,000$ resistance level once again and remain stable above this line. I just feel regretful for selling BTC beforehand, due to believing on the predictions the price would fall once again after reading SEC is going to announce another raisement on interest rates of 0,25% for the next month and because there is going to be investment opportunities in USA on construction sector aiming to assist people in low financial standards.

Sadly, it was just a clickbait to deceive investors. Good for those who kept holding and ignored such rumours.
Indeed, bitcoin has made a very good move. Over 15% in just a few days. There is a lot of news now about different etfs, so it is hard to determine what is true and what is false. But I don't like that this growth is happening with low volumes. If you look at the chart on Binance, the volumes in the last months are really low, despite the fact that there is now explosive growth.
784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: June 21, 2023, 03:33:09 PM
One of the results that surprised me yesterday was the defeat of Bosnia and Herzegovina.I was very surprised that the team, which was the heavy favorite against Luxembourg, was not able to score.I think that the team with such a pool of players should be at least in 2nd place in this group after 4 matches.Bosnia and Herzegovina has very good players but they had difficulty in reflecting this on the field.
Portugal, on the other hand, managed to beat their opponent with a single goal.We cannot say that it was an easy match for them, but they still managed to win.In the other match of the group, we can say that it was not a very difficult match for Slovakia, but they could not make the most of the goal positions they found. We can also say that they played a dominant football from the beginning to the end of the match.
I've looked at Luxembourg's game stats and probably yesterday's match was one of the best in recent memory for this national team. But sometimes they have stellar times when they suddenly show a great game. Last year they drew 3-3 against Turkey, which was also unexpected. Before that, they beat Montenegro 2-1.
785  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breaking out of 2 month downtrend on: June 21, 2023, 02:40:34 PM
A lot of development today which caused Bitcoin to gain around $2000 in price. Another Bitcoin etf and also another refiled Bitcoin etf. So far there are 3-4 different etfs in total this week alone.

Also some new crypto exchange went live which is owned by Citadel and Schwab, it was announced in Sept but went live this morning.

These development are the root cause of the strong rally we just had.
It seems to me that it is too early to talk about a rally. In these few days we have only seen momentum, which could potentially be a rally in the near future. There is indeed a lot of good news now and maybe the bitcoin price correction will end this June. It has been a long time since we had such good green candles on the chart.
786  Economy / Speculation / Re: FTX recovered $7.3B in Assets and is considering restarting! on: June 21, 2023, 01:50:56 PM
Not only can FTX continue to exist successfully. I read today that Sam Bankman will soon continue to live in peace because all charges against him have been dropped. I don't know if this is true or not, but I wouldn't be surprised if it actually happened. If so, it's a huge reason to think about the lawlessness going on among big officials in the US.
787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 21, 2023, 11:57:47 AM
...
We will also welcome some of the teams that will join Serie A this season from Serie B. And let's see if there will be any surprises from the teams that managed to move up from Serie B to Serie A. I personally see Frosinone might be a surprise in the coming season. but I doubt this team will compete in the top 10. but if they can compete in the top 10 then it will be an interesting surprise.
It is a really difficult thing for Serie B teams to even cling to the Serie A in their first season there after promotion. Lecce, Cremonese and Monza were the promoted teams this season and only Monza were really impressive. Because Monza finished the season at the 11th position despite coming from the Serie B playoffs stage to this league.
Cremonese are back in the Serie B again and Lecce were also nearly relegating from the Serie A as well. This time we are going to have Frosinone, Genoa and Cagliari here. Genoa and Cagliari have already a big history in the Serie A so for now I see them one step ahead of Frosinone to adapt to the environment.

Monza's performance has impressed everyone this season. The Monza team has performed well this season. They won 14 matches and drew 10 matches. The team was in good form. It was unthinkable that a team from Serie B would dominate Serie A like this. The performance of this group is quite stable. If the Monza team is able to strengthen their attack a bit next season, then I think they can be between 6-8 in the points table.

I look forward to seeing Frosinone's performance next season. I have seen the performances of Geona and Cagliari before. But the Frosinone team is completely new to me. Hopefully they can maintain stability in Serie A.
I also liked the way Monza have played this season. They were able to beat Napoli, win one match against Inter and draw the other. They didn't lose to Roma in a home game. For a Serie B club, these are very good results. It is surprising that they have been able to finish this season in the middle of the standings.
788  Economy / Speculation / Re: The low support level may still be tested during 2023. on: June 20, 2023, 05:17:07 PM
Good news is getting more and more coming and I'm sure the Bitcoin support level has been reached at the end of 2022 which reached $ 16k,
and now the bitcoin price is still above $ 20k I don't think this year has touched a new support level anymore but we in 2023 can reach this level resistance,
moreover Good news from China can be a booster for the crypto market.
I think you are thinking about the Bitcoin halving because we are getting closer to it and many people feel bullish about it. There are other good news too like the China re-allowing cryptos but I think that wasn't new anymore. As of now, we mostly get a bad news about the crypto regulations and targeted country was the US.

Let's just hope that it won't escalate from banning the cryptos there because that will make the price dump even more. Each year, there will always be a support level for the crypto prices. In 2022, it was $16k but this year I think it was $27k so far although this might change later on because we still have more months left to finish the 2023.
In the last few days there has been talk everywhere about blackrock and new etf. I think that is the best good news in a while. These guys have been buying cheap bitcoin and will soon be selling it at inflated prices. The price has bounced back nicely today. If buying volumes show up soon, we can expect a new rally for bitcoin. There is really a lot of positive news so far.
789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 20, 2023, 02:16:31 PM
In this season's transfer market, it seems that AC Milan is one of the teams that has yet to bring new players to the club from the ongoing transfer market. And AC Milan has also not recorded releasing many players. Only Zlatan Ibrahimovic has decided to retire and has said goodbye from AC Milan.

Meanwhile, Napoli have now got 2 additional players to their club in the transfer market which actually only opened in the last few days. The 2 players are Giacomo Raspadori and Giovanni Simeone. It seems that the transfer market this time is not too hot for Serie A clubs.
Even though other teams are starting to spend on players to strengthen the squad for next season, it seems like Milan are still looking for alternative new players and chances are they won't be left behind before the summer transfer market closes. On the other hand, Napoli managed to reach a permanent agreement with the two players namely Raspadori from Sassuolo and Simeone from Hellas Verona, we know both of them are important players who led Napoli to win the Scudetto this season. Raspadori and Simeone were brought in on loan at the start of last season, but Napoli finally put their trust in these two players and made the transfer permanent.

One of the trustworthy players for Napoli last season was Simeone, and by buying Napoli he did what was best for them and for themselves. I think Raspadori and Simeone were two players who deserved to be in the Napoli squad and this decision made me happy.
Also opening for Napoli this season has been Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Simeone is also good, but his performance is far less than that of Khvicha. In Italy, they have already started to call Khvica the new Diego Maradonna. But so far, Osimhen has no competition among attacking players.
790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: June 20, 2023, 12:36:30 PM
As we discussed before, Kazakhstan were understimated without a reason and they won against Northern Ireland away. In other game Finland achieved 6:0 win against San Marino and now are leading group together with Kazakhstan, while Denmark is just 3rd. But it's to early to make conclusions.
Turkey pushed really hard, it took them for a while to score, but their win against 10 men Wales is deserved. Belarus won against Kosovo a bit unexpected and it's their 1st win in more than 2 years. While Kosovo also failing to win official games for a while.
I didn't expected that North Macedonia will cause problems for England, but it was difficult to see 70:0 coming, after all this team played in EURO 2020 Israel struggled against Andorra and won just 2:1. Believe it or not, but Andorra scored a goal 3rd game in a row.

I have to say, the quality of football in Europe when it comes to national teams is kind of low. There's so much gap between the big teams and the small teams. In Europe you'll see teams like San Marino, Luxemburg, Gibraltar and co that have had only a couple of wins in like 2 years. Foot in Europe should have gone beyond that level. Europe is like the center of football an things like this shouldn't be so frequent.
Something like this cannot be possible in South America. There are big teams and there are small teams, but that doesn't mean the small team doesn't stand a chance against the giant team.
Europe has more countries than South America, so some teams play worse or better than others. In South America almost all countries play football, in Europe this is not the case. There are many countries that play hockey because winter lasts much longer than summer. I don't think it is correct to compare Europe and America.
791  Economy / Speculation / Re: SEC Lawsuit Against Binance Is Likely To Hit Bitcoin Price on: June 20, 2023, 11:51:52 AM
I think it's quite obvious that it's not going to be easy to keep the price this low, I get that people sold and got out and this news was a bad news but that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with a terrible result just because of this news, it's not going to stay.

Do you know how many bitcoins need to be sold every single day to keep the price this low? Sure, when a bad news like this happens we have that and more, but when there is no bad news, or the bad news is now old news, it's not going to be that simple, we are not going to see it happen that frequently. So, this is why sustaining a low price at bitcoin world is the hardest thing and it will eventually go up. We need to focus on doing a lot better and it will happen only if we wait.
I think the price is so low not because someone is selling a lot, but because not many people want to buy bitcoin right now. The exchanges have small buying volumes, so you only have to sell a few times before the price starts to fall even lower. There is a lot of noise around exchanges right now, so it will probably stay that way for a while.
792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Cardano still a good investment? on: June 19, 2023, 03:52:42 PM
I bought my first 600 Cardano last week at £0.19 as felt it was great price and too good to miss.

I am debating if I should buy another 600 soon or wait to see if we fall lower  Huh

If all goes well for Cardano it should be a pretty easy 15x from current price next bull run.

Why did you choose cardano as an investment? I don't understand what they offer that other projects don't have. It seems to me that it is a dead project that has not done anything worthwhile in such a long time of development. It will take some time and it will be replaced by another newer project. I don't see the point in investing in old projects now. It's better to just save up money to buy something new a little later.
793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Nations League final four ⚽ on: June 19, 2023, 03:09:53 PM
So unlucky as they haven beaten in a penalty shootout! It's really heart-breaking to see Croatia come so close to victory yet fall short again. Their struggle is truly painful this UEFA Nations League edition. They truly deserved it because they've been trying hard for a long time. Despite not win the Nations League, they still have a great team. It's important for them to keep working hard and stay consistent, so this will pay off for the next generation of players. Congratulations to Spain for their win though.

Yea, and Spain also deserved it. Don't make it look like only one team deserved it. Spain also had to win their own matches and struggle to get to the final. Any team that would have won the final would have deserved it because they both played well.
Croatia can keep still fighting. They have a very good squad and they can prepare for the Euros next season. They have what it takes.

Let's see what's gonna be modric's decision regarding his career in international football.
Modric must also be aware if a young talented player shall also get a chance to play in the national team as well. His age is very old to play on the national team.

I would not like Modric to retire from the national team yet. He may be old but he's still very good and I would like him to lead his team to another international tournament one last time. The Euro will be a great opportunity to do that. He may not be strong enough to play 90 minutes in every match or 120 minutes as the case may be, but he's a great motivation and inspiration to the other players.
Croatia is really making its mark on international tournaments with what it has done lately. Croatia has participated in all major tournaments. He played in the final and semi-finals of the World Cup, showed good performances in the European championships, and played the final again today. A country of 4 million people can do this. It's great that Modric plays at such a high level at this age. He is physically old for his age, but he is a very good football player for his age. That is really admirable. There are only handful of players in any sport that can do this. He is no Lebron James but still great. In this match, I understood why Pep Guardiola wanted Kovavici. He is a player who will add a great dynamism in the midfield, even if he is not seen very much. If he hadn't suffered so many injuries, his level would have gone even higher. Both the quality of the pass and the brisk play between the two penalty areas are rare in football players... I've been a fan of Kovacic for years.
Croatia is a country of football talent. Modric is not the only player of age and quality. There are other players in the national team as good as Modric, such as Perisic. Many of the Croatian players play for top European clubs. Therefore, it is no wonder Croatia have been getting great results. It should be noted that for some reason they have been unlucky enough to win major trophies.
794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: June 19, 2023, 09:30:41 AM
I think you can make $100 every day in a casino if your daily deposit is $200. Otherwise, it is impossible to win money regularly and consistently in casinos. If it were possible, this kind of business wouldn't exist. Perhaps there are some forks of gambling where with a certain strategy you can make regular profits, for example from betting on sports or playing poker. But casinos rule out the possibility of making money on a regular basis.
795  Economy / Speculation / Re: The low support level may still be tested during 2023. on: June 18, 2023, 01:49:13 PM
Bitcoin can not get to $15500 again, but bitcoin can still get to $20000 once more before going to all-time-high. I am waiting for $20000 once again for me to buy more. If bitcoin do not fall to $20000 again, I will buy some weeks to halving.

I too will advice people to DCA. It is a good strategy. An excellent strategy when bitcoin has decreased very well.
How can you be so sure that Bitcoin won't fall as low as $15500 once again? We all know how unpredictable cryptocurrencies can be, especially Bitcoin which has always surprised everyone whether with its significant growths or with its unexpected drops. History can always repeat itself and we can't really be sure whether the price can drop to that level once again especially if there are so many bad things happening for cryptocurrencies.

That being said, it is always better to simply do DCA instead of waiting for the perfect spot to buy because you will barely be able to achieve that successfully, and who knows what the price would be some weeks before the halving? It might be higher than the current price which will be a bad deal for you obviously.
No one knows where bitcoin can fall, but still there is a lot of negative news from sec and binance right now, but bitcoin didn't fall much because of that and even bounced back from support around 25k. Just the fact that bitcoin hardly reacts to negative news tells me that we are unlikely to see 15k again. That would be very good for those who didn't have time to buy in January. So I don't see the logic for the price to fall that low again.
796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any advice for invest my first 600$ in altcoins? on: June 18, 2023, 12:42:55 PM

With that much capital, of course you are better off investing in altcoins,
because altcoins can make you achieve high profits when the bullish season arrives,
we are still in the bear season and with only $ 500 or $ 1000 capital it is very suitable for investment now,
you don't have to worry about losing your capital , as long as you know about altcoin fundamental analysis,
and my recommendation for you is Chromia (CHR) because this altcoin has dropped from -92% ATH,
so it is very suitable for investment.
I watched chromia in the last bull run and this project gave a very big profit for early investors. As a rule altcoins don't survive after one or more cycles, especially this project didn't become very well known, despite huge growth in 2021. It seems to me that this investment could be very risky.
797  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for June on: June 18, 2023, 11:10:40 AM
-snip-
Bitcoin did make a nice bounce on Friday, but if you look at the larger timeframes, it could be looking like a downtrending highs. You are correct in saying that for a subsequent uptrend it needs to break resistance, but so far it looks like a local downtrend.
Local downtrend - what do you mean?

The downtrend should have ended if you do the analysis on 1 month TF. The market has gone through a long bearish period at the last year or over 13 months - but I think the bullish start to the recovery process has been there since 2023. However, bitcoin broke through the $31k resistance in April albeit only moments before being followed by a two month long correction. But I believe that resistance will be tested again during June or July, so keep your optimism well.
The global down trend ended last December when the price was around 15k. But now I see a local downtrend on the weekly and four-day charts. You can clearly see that the highs of the price have been declining since April. That is, the price has been declining for two months now, which could be called a local downtrend rather than a correction.
798  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for June on: June 17, 2023, 07:09:55 PM
Clearly Im a trading god, or possibly it just bounced in a fairly predictable area after some slightly more positive news and a dollar index moving down.   All factors which can help but to complete this move in a proper way not just a ping pong back and forth action we really need to recover above and confirm the 50 day average regularly as below BTC price action.  At present we are capped by prior negative action and that is not dispelled by one day especially.

799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: June 17, 2023, 05:52:49 PM
Türkiye won the match with a last minute goal. This is a characteristic feature of the Turkish national team. I wish we played our matches with the same discipline from start to finish. But in general we are far from this understanding.

Today in Group J, Portugal will play against Bosnia. Ronaldo will return to Europe after a long time with this match. This match should have a special significance for him. Because with this match, he will have played for the national team for the 200th time. The clear favorite of the match is Portugal in my opinion. They started well in group matches. I think they will continue to play the same game.

Turkey had a difficult match, it seemed that the opponent was not so strong and it should have been an easy match, at the end of the match we had to be nervous when Latvia equalized the score in extra time, but everything ended well for Turkey.

Portugal is a favorite in this match, Ronaldo will once again want to prove to everyone that he is in great shape, and of course he will try to score. Coming back to your home is always a very pleasant experience, and Ronaldo can feel it even more when he is so far away from Europe.
To be honest, I was very surprised that Turkey had problems with Latvia. The Turks have always played good football and have many good players who play for famous clubs. But now that team must be having a crisis, because it's strange how they've started to have problems with the underdogs.
800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you invest in a project that might take years to outshine the market?? on: June 17, 2023, 12:59:31 PM
I agree with you. Many people are too impatient and expect quick returns from their investments.
This is hard to change for most of the investors that are only here for the quick profits. That's why they're looking for those projects that are hype and making a noise because they can make quick profits from it.

They don’t realize that building a successful project takes time and effort. They should have a long-term vision and support the project they believe in.
Actually, everyone knows that building a good and working project takes time. But you can't beat the system that everybody also thinks about one thing, making money.
You are right in saying that in the cryptocurrency market everyone is trying to get quick profits, and many end up losing money and becoming disillusioned with cryptocurrency. I also agree with you that a good project needs development, which sometimes takes more than a year or two. But there is a paradox here. While one project is developing and making a product, several other projects may appear in its place. In the crypto world, projects don't live long; technologies become obsolete very quickly and something new is constantly emerging. There is a lot of competition.
