I'm still not understanding you, but if you edit your worker, you can set whatever PPS you want.  If GPUMAX can pay you what you set, you mine for them, if they can't pay that much, they pass it through to your private pool.
I had no idea that I can set my PPS on GPUMAX.Thanks for helping me understand more about GPUMAX and how it works.I just wish I got an invite so I can try it out.
782  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: February 26, 2012, 07:40:29 PM
I want to be paid more per share for my work (I get paid about ~0.00042???.BTC as I cant remember the exact amout  as it keeps changing sometimes. If I get paid more than this and it was constant,I'd happily point all my miners to your servce)

Raise your PPS?

Yes I mean that. What I didn't make clear in my last reply to this topic was that, I feel that if GPUMAX opens me up to the wider markets (free markets) that can offer me more or less than what I get,I can then have the freedom to choose what I'm happy to work with as that's how free markets work (As far as I can understand).GPUMAX is a great idea because i'm not limited by my pools PPS rate and that I have access to the free market as well (where they can pay more as well as less) which I feel is important to me.

784  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: The miner with IP 0.0.0.0 is close to 50% on: February 26, 2012, 07:06:26 PM
This is all very odd.Maybe it's a US multinational or a university (as I was taught in computing that the low range IP addresses were reserved for US academic institutions/multinationals). I wouldn't rule out a multinational/university trying with BTC mining. As more people become aware of mining (BTC for profit),more and more entities will be getting in on the act.

I checked the IP with this :http://www.techzoom.net/tools/check-ip.en
I typed in 0.0.0.0 and this is what showed up:

Question is what business does ICANN have with mining bitcoins? Maybe they're trying to obtain them or a possible imposter using an IP mask to hide the fact that he's hogging the network.

It wasn't funny, it was hilarious   ....

Anyway..  The word you gave fits the rules IF the example by Fordy was part of the game....
It's all good then thanks farfiman.
786  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you want free bitcoin:) on: February 26, 2012, 01:27:20 AM
I'd like a free Amazon UK gift card (as I'm in UK,not US). Whats the value? If it's £10 or more, sign me up. Also how does all this work exactly? Sounds a little odd. What info is required from me? Will I be spammed if I give my email to your service?
787  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Word Game: 0.1 BTC for 7 words (0.7 BTC on twitter) - animals on: February 26, 2012, 01:25:54 AM
Whats so funny? It's a bird,it's an animal and it follows the rule :"Probably the most important rule is that whatever letter a word ends with, the next word must start with. Cat ends in "t", so the next word, must start with a "t". "
788  Economy / Services / Re: Webmaster partner programs on: February 25, 2012, 11:11:33 AM
I'd like to benefit from these programs (I know they don't pay much but as long as I have a steady amount of bitcoins then I'll be happy. Also I hear that the older your site is,the more it's worth to have these ads on)
789  Other / MultiBit / Re: MultiBit on: February 25, 2012, 10:27:29 AM
The 0.3.0beta3 on the website should be connecting to the bitcoin network ok.
Let me know if it is not.

I've tested this and this works fine. For those of you having issues with blocks not downloading, please use Multibit V0.30 beta 3 to rectify the issue that cropped up from 20/2/2012 onwards.Thanks.

791  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Can you run more than 4 amd gpus in windows now? on: February 25, 2012, 01:24:26 AM
I'm glad that the 4 GPU in win 7 limit is now gone.I just wish that AMD would stop coding in limits that decide how many gpus you can have in your system though.
792  Other / MultiBit / Re: MultiBit on: February 25, 2012, 01:00:34 AM
Can you please fix the bug where Multibit won't connect or download the blockchain since 20/2/2012? I really want to move my BTC to the main client as the official client tends to be more stable thanks.

794  Economy / Services / Re: Advertise on www.film2240.wordpress.com on: February 25, 2012, 12:49:29 AM
Sorry I've been a little slow with info but I've been given a lot of work for another film crew recently.Anyways the info is as follows (estimates)
Typical 60 hits per month (usually more if there's a highly rated article on there)
Pricing info is on here: http://bit.ly/xRrn49 (link will redirect to the proper link on another site I own)
Do note that the 2 banners you see on that page are test ads, those don't count and have nothing to do with this offer.

Even though the date on the other site says the offer expires 15/1/2012,I will still honour the stated price/offer until I say so on this thread as this will be more up to date. Hope that answers your question.
795  Economy / Services / Re: JL421 Productions - Mining Contracts - Point Hashes to Any Pool on: February 25, 2012, 12:40:57 AM
What's your rep? If it's good and the price is low for a little extra hash power,I'll consider business.

796  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [460 GH] Ozcoin Pooled Mining Pty Ltd DGM [BIP16] Fee Free Port80 MM on: February 24, 2012, 09:25:21 PM
P.S. film2240 I think I saw you on freenode irc - feel free to drop into #ozcoin and say hi sometime, and of course anyone else that would like to Smiley
I was certainly on freenode irc the other day.I wanted to try it out and see if I got help faster. Id like to try the IRC in Ozcoin pool though. I guess being on freenode irc kinda makes you a mini celebrity or something, which is still nice.As a filmmaker ,the more famous you get, the better things get. Smiley

799  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Did the dollar suddenly devalue vs. used 5970's? on: February 22, 2012, 11:17:31 PM
I just looked at prices of HD5970 in UK :http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_trkparms=65%253A12%257C66%253A2%257C39%253A1%257C72%253A5788&rt=nc&_nkw=HD5970&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_sop=2&_sc=1

They tend to start from over £260 (it sounds cheap when you convert to USD compared to the US ebay site mentioned in this thread.)

Still those cards are pretty damn expensive. The prices include 20% VAT (tax) as well.

You can try buying them from UK and shipping them over (even with the added shipping fee from UK,it's be cheaper than the US eBay links the OP mentioned I think)
800  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series Specs Revealed in Leak on: February 22, 2012, 11:03:13 PM
Very interesting info guys. Didn't see the HD7890 coming though (but I guess it's like AMDs old HD4890 gpus they made a few years ago). That (HD7890) has the same no of shaders as my unlocked HD6950 which makes me question the need to upgrade so soon for me as it's mainly the price and the lack of dual GPUs coming from the HD7xxx at the moment (that will be released later this year).

I wonder how an unlocked HD6950 would compare with an HD7890 since they both have the same no of shaders? I wonder how big the difference would be if they were compared for mining performance (as the no of shadersseems to really affect things).

Good find guys :-)
