781  Economy / Services / Re: Buy a Sponsored Tweet for only $1 - Over 18,500 Genuine Followers! on: November 21, 2018, 03:13:00 AM
You are breaking Rule #13 on this forum.

13. Bumps, "updates" are limited to once per 24 hours

Please visit FORUM RULES this link and read over the rules of the forum.

32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed.

It says ---> excluding the thread starter, which is ourselves.
Also just to be on the strict side, the previous bump is removed.

Have a good day!

It is different rules. It is not saying that the OP can give multiple bumps in one day. This is forbidden. What the rule says is that only the OP can write multiple posts in a row. If it goes longer than 24 hours between posts.
782  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: In case of a 51% attack, can the damage be reverted? on: November 21, 2018, 02:52:59 AM
I will make another question, as the one that starts the topic was already answered. In case of a 51% attack, the damage should be reverted?

Should it not be an even bigger problem to be able to roll back an action already done on the blockchain?

Bitcoin's political consensus is quite subjective. I mean, the voice of the community is something that depends on time. We do not have a voting system in Bitcoin where a result is clear. BTC is Bitcoin for being clear the choice of the majority. But in an event like such an attack, if it was of great proportions. One group could choose to revert and another group could choose not to. In the same way as with ETH and ETC.

So the question is not whether this is possible. But if this will be the majority choice in the long run.
783  Economy / Speculation / Re: $2000 prospective low for bitcoin says Bitmex CEO Arthur Hayes on: November 21, 2018, 12:18:52 AM
So far what we had were great dumps. Nothing was slow. 10 minutes of dump, some fights for the price to rise, plus 10 minutes of dump. In the same Bitmex the great players profited a lot in those last 24hrs. But they made little profit in the previous fall. To reach 2k we would have to have a trap. The price would have to rise a bit leaving opportunity for profit. But if it goes up, trust comes back and we'll enter a bull market.
784  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price dip a sign Institutional Investors are ready? on: November 20, 2018, 03:54:14 PM
The big problem is that so far we have not had disastrous news to justify this dump. Of course, we have several news that justify a dump, but they do not indicate a disaster. They do not indicate that the price should reach 1000USD.

Something like Japan prohibits trading. Last year we had CHINA banned and Bitcoin resisted. Many were expecting a drop below 1000USD, and they had reason to expect something like that, however, it only went up after a minor fix.

So, much more than great reasons, what we see is a demotivated market. Most people are thinking of selling while they still have some profit or to reduce their losses.

In that 1 year, Bitcoin only managed to correct errors that had, but did not advance to become a means of payment disruptive. And none of those thousands of ICOs and new projects was capable of anything really disruptive. No new niche has emerged. Increase in value just because a lot of people want is not a good justification for a new technology.

Investors will only invest if cryptocurrencies prove they will be used
785  Economy / Economics / What is the relationship between FAANG and cryptos? on: November 20, 2018, 05:30:21 AM
FAANG= Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix and Google.

Stocks have fallen sharply. And everything leads to believe that they can fall more. Facebook has fallen a lot from ATH. And everyone is betting that they are in a bear market. Do you believe that investors are putting a very large correlation between stocks of technology companies and the crypto in general?

Ethereum Genesis address have been completely emptied. It's all on Binance now ready to be sold.

lol. It's just one of the addresses of someone who invested during the ICO. Probably sent to Binance to save another project he invests.

Whoever wants to sell would not send it to Binance. He would send for an exchange where he can trade for fiat and run.

>>> "just relax maaan"

380,000 ETH. On an exchange.
Do you even realize what kind of consequences that can have on the price?
Also have a look at the other cryptos owned bt that account.. only one.. Vitalik backed Omisego.. nice coincidence isn't it.

OMG was airdroped. The other coins too.

65,000$ worth of OMG.. airdropped? Right.

it was 0.07 OMG for each ETH that he have on his wallet.

even memes may soon constitute copyright theft

Only in the EUSSR.

I did not know about it, so I have searched and found this article from BBC: Copyright law could put end to net memes

Memes, remixes and other user-generated content could disappear online if the EU's proposed rules on copyright become law, warn experts.

Digital rights groups are campaigning against the Copyright Directive, which the European Parliament will vote on later this month.

The legislation aims to protect rights-holders in the internet age.

And there is a campaign against this interpretation of this law: https://saveyourinternet.eu/

795  Economy / Speculation / Re: People are selling the wrong coins, because they are confused. lol on: November 16, 2018, 02:21:42 AM
Hmmm, no! Thinking people make financial decisions by being stupid is the first step in making a very stupid decision. The market allows you to profit from both the rising price and the falling price. And the politics and demonstration of power are very useful to make more profit. In addition, wars are expensive and it is not yet possible to subsidize a war using only BTC.
796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Error while forking a POS coin on: November 15, 2018, 06:12:43 PM
You should tell the currency name, perhaps comment on the topic of this currency you want to fork. I'm sure they would like to help, after all, you're only doing this for study, right?
797  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to eat cheap on: November 15, 2018, 06:04:06 PM
There are some great subreddits for find great meals at low prices.

https://www.reddit.com/r/EatCheapAndHealthy/
https://www.reddit.com/r/budgetfood/
https://www.reddit.com/r/studentfood/

But basically, you could buy those products:
Eggs, potatoes, pinto beans, lentils, Rice, carrot, flour, coffee.

You would have everything that you need for the lowest price.

798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi is a real asshole on: November 15, 2018, 04:42:17 PM
Satoshi was not a nice guy. Many who interacted with him said that he was a little obsessed and often exaggerated in the requests, which seemed to be orders.

Laszlo described him as "Bossy, Eccentric, and Kind of Weird." Sirius said Satoshi asked for things as if he were an employee, not just a collaborator.

The answer he gave Dan Larimer was not one that a cool guy would give, either.
"If you do not believe me or do not get it, I do not have time to try to convince you, sorry."

The only reason no one believes that fake satoshi is the creator of Bitcoin is because he is not.
799  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-14] Binance Volumes Down 90% from January, CZ Still Bullish on: November 15, 2018, 04:42:54 AM
This dump proves that the volume is very low on all exchanges. Maybe it's the first time bitcoin exchanges are so decentralized. Before this year, we had exchanges that were bigger, they concentrated more market. Now, with low volume and so much decentralization, we have days like today. Where some people found an opportunity to punch the market.
800  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Botting v manual trading on: November 15, 2018, 03:34:10 AM
Bot's main function is to profit by correcting some abnormalities in the patterns. It does not serve to make you very rich, after all, you are the one who will be responsible for tracing the strategies. It will help your actions, in the trade, by accurately reflect these previously thought you have.

In the Cryptomarket there are always opportunities in the BTC / Alt pair. It's a very big correlation. And in many cases, Trader exaggerates in a buy or sell order, this opens many opportunities. I think the most important thing is to choose the exchange that Bot will use. Binance seems to me the most used, so the opportunities may be smaller there than in other exchanges. But risking an exchange without volume and low reputation can be bad as well.

But Bot's biggest advantage is that he's cold and does whatever he's told to do. A manual trader can always have more confidence than he should and always try to earn a little more. And with that, end up losing everything.
