If you use a VPN you have to trust them, because they know which sites you will be visiting.

Guarantee there's a few NSA VPN honeypots around.

783  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which operating system(s) do you use? on: May 11, 2015, 06:12:06 AM
Windows XP SP2 is currently my main OS since it's installed on my main laptop. The system restore disc only has SP2 installed (since SP3 wasn't around back then). I'll probably be updating it to SP3 soon.

For obvious reasons, I strongly recommended you don't connect that machine to the internet, keep it offline.
784  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: May 11, 2015, 05:32:03 AM
Wait, are you trying to find logic behind Muslim teachings?
Something which doesn't exist cannot be found.
Most of their rituals are opposite of what's done in other religions. They pray in different positions, they have unusual kind of beard, they wear short pants, they cook on inverted pans.
All they do is derived out of opposing what people of other religions do, there origin lies in this, they were formed by the barbaric outcast of the society who were barred from interfering in normal aspects of life cuz they were too cunning and evil minded.

We pray in the direction of Ka'ba.

Do you think there is certain style of beard Muslims? If yes, then it is a false information. We just want to wear beard and there is no certain style but the style should be good.

What do you mean by "cook on inverted pans"? There are many ways of cooking for various foods. So different food will be cooked in different ways in different regions.

Cause you do pray in a different position just for the sake of opposing what other religions predominantly did.
Also at least Sikhs have more clean and hygienic beards than a Muslim.
And people are clean shaved cause it it hygienic! Barbaric people wont ever know what hygiene is.

Not for the sake of opposing other religions. You just created a new one. It is for the sake of uniqueness. People praying in different directions isn't good. So we pray in one direction.

What do you mean by "Sikhs have more clean and beards than a Muslim"? You are essentially creating a new thing for hatred or are judging all Muslims by seing one or a few Muslims in your region.

Wearing beard have advantages. Only thing you need to do is wash it regularly which certainly happens either when bathing or when taking vulu(washing organs before praying).

• Prevents skin cancer

The sun has ultraviolet (UV) rays that harm your skin and cause you to develop skin cancer. While most of your body is shielded by your clothes, your face is always exposed, unless you wear a cap every time you go out in the sun. A beard is perfect because it covers the lower half of your face, thereby reducing the risk of skin cancer significantly.

• Reduces allergies

Just like the tiny hairs in your nose that prevent dust and pollen from entering your system, your beard also works as a filter that helps to keep these same allergens out of your nose and mouth.

• Retains natural moisture

When you shave, your skin is exposed to the sun in summer and cold air in winter. These elements dry out your skin, but if you have a beard to protect you then your skin can retain its moisture. Your skin also has sebaceous glands that keep it moisturised. When you shave, this moisture gets eroded, but when you have a beard it remains intact.

• Prevents illnesses

Having a beard can help you stave off wintertime illnesses like a cold or cough, because it keeps your face and neck warm. Your beard serves as insulation against the cold, trapping your body heat from escaping and protecting you from the cold.

• Prevents infections

People who shave regularly are prone to a lot of skin problems like rashes and infections. By giving up shaving, you don’t have to worry about rashes, bacterial infections or folliculitis, which in an infection of the hair follicles.

• Keeps your skin smooth

People who shave get a lot of blemishes, in-growths and cuts on their faces that ultimately mar the smoothness of their skin. When you stop shaving and grow a beard, you automatically get less blemishes and much smoother skin.

• Keeps you young

This is an ironic health benefit, since having a beard tends to make you look much older. But actually, by protecting your face from sun damage and blemishes, your beard keeps your skin much younger.

Woman don't like scratchy beards. It irritates the insides of their thighs when you go down on them. Cheesy
785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Permanently keeping the 1MB (anti-spam) restriction is a great idea ... on: May 10, 2015, 04:33:12 PM
There is no realistic scenario where a network capped permanently at 1MB can have meaningful adoption whilst still maintaining direct access to the blockchain by individuals.

there is no realistic scenario where plastic card with 1960 chip on it can have meaningfull adoption.

Exactly. Absolutely correct if the plastic card was stuck with an embarrassing 2.7tps like bitcoin.

However, if block size is increased, there's really no reason why most miners won't include as many transactions as possible, since it doesn't really cost them anything. Transactors will no longer be required to pay to have their transactions included in the blockchain, and eventually profit-seeking miners will leave.

It costs mining pools nothing *now* to process transactions.  And in fact they are not even required to fill blocks up with transactions, there are empty blocks produced all the time.

Minimum fees can be set regardless of block size.
I don't think, that is true. Looking at the last blocks, they all had transactions in them.
Could you show me one of this recent 0 transaction blocks?

https://blockchain.info/block/00000000000000001672c2c047085db722e577902c48d018cd88f1d46359fa28

Just an example. There is heaps of empty blocks. That's why anyone saying it would be urgent is a douchebag and likely has some other agenda.

That's because the miner chose to not include any transactions in the block, except the coinbase one of course. It doesn't mean there wasn't any waiting in the memory pool.

Yes we (Muslims) are better than non muslims...

No wonder there's so many problems in the world with that sort of delusional mentally.  Roll Eyes
Let's hope it's just a small unimportant handful.

Stephen William Hawking was born in 8 January 1942 and Allah exist when their is nothing in the universe. How he can say that Allah doesn't exist.

Because he's not Muslim.
Because he didn't live in a country that severely punished apostasy.  In such a place he would never have made the astonishing deep scientific progress that he did make.

That's actually an extremely interesting point, I've never thought of that before now.
But what if there's another Hawkings type character out there? What if he's on a higher intelligence level than Hawking's could ever imagine? What if he's could give so much to mankind?
(And no I'm not speaking about god before someone plays that card.)

But....

He was born in a society that forced him to believe in a religion by his peers. (Which incidentally is never true faith if you are forced.)
Cannot speak out his ideas without persecution.

What a great lose for the whole of mankind if that person is forced to conceal the truth, all due to the chains of religion.

Terrible.

What exactly are the benefits for setting up a full node?

It gives the world bitcoin.
No nodes, no bitcoin.

I am trying to pull my head out of the sand.

This is clearly a cry for help.

As fellow bitcoiners we will help you anyway we can. You are a victim of lies and propaganda from a religion that pushed your head deep into the sand, and holds it there with false promises. We will get you through this.
792  Other / Off-topic / Re: When did you first get on the internet? on: May 08, 2015, 09:36:45 PM
For me it was early 1995.  (Can anyone beat that?)

How you must wish you'd registered "sex.com" domain name. (As well as many others.)

The flood happened around 1,600 years after the creation.

This is false. Planet earth didn't exist 13.798 billion years ago.

There you go, suggesting that you have the knowledge of God. Who do you think you are?

Smiley

Firstly, how can I, or anybody else for that matter, have any knowledge of god when nobody has the foggiest idea if he exists or not?
Secondly, what's this got to do with me correcting your error? A distraction I'm presuming.

Since I have presented strong evidence for the existence of God here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=737322.msg10718395#msg10718395, evidence which many people accept as truth, and since there is additional evidence for God that one can find if one looks, anybody who doesn't have the foggiest about the existence of God is intentionally remaining in ignorance.

Your correction is a far worse error than any error that I might have made.

Smiley

"The Joint" has shot you down into a smoldering plane wreck with solid sound logic over that silly proof link thingy of yours. But your still pretending your flying high above the clouds unharmed. When are you going to learn? Your goal of becoming the "bitcointalk god guru" just isn't working out for you. It has failed.
We've all tried to help you stop embarassing yourself anymore than you have already, but like a small child that keeps wanting to play with the bleach bottles under the kitchen sink after mummy has said "no, it's for your own good", you keep going back after we've dragged you away, "because mummy is bad and you know best."

I think we are all running out of ideas what's left to do with you really. But we won't give up trying to help a fellow bitcoiner.

796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yay or Nay to Increasing Block Size to 20mb? on: May 08, 2015, 06:54:47 PM
The other option would be to change the block time to 2 minutes.
I'm not sure why that wasn't discussed more.

The block time set to 10 minutes is permanent so changing that would be infinitely harder than changing the 1mb cap which has always been a temporary measure from the start.
Change something permanent and you open Pandora's box to future permanent things changing. Then nothing is permanent, and nobody trusts bitcoin anymore, and becomes worthless.

Notice that the God of the Bible only destroys those who are against Him.

A god that rules by anger and fear, is not worthy of my worship.

He must fear me, because I'm still here, not destroyed.

God rules in love. sometimes the love expresses itself by showing anger. After all, we children are all going to die. God lives forever. It doesn't do anything to Him when we die. However, His love causes Him to discipline with the appearance of anger which makes us fear, so that we get serious about our impending doom, and do the things that allow us to be saved >>> believe in the salvation of Jesus, God's Son.

Smiley

Not worthy.

- snip-

P.S. Many Muslims including me are against ISIS. I don't like what they are doing and essentially creating a new religion for their political benefits and pushing all Muslims into danger and forcing all Muslims and non-Muslims to be a victim of the danger. ISIS has killed number of Muslims too but still what they are claiming is being represented than what the reality is. Sad

- snip -
Sorry? They don't create any new religion. Look their flag, what does the first text say? La ilaha illallah! The second text is Allah, Rasul, and Muhammad. Their god is Allah, and their prophet is Muhammad SAW. Is that a new religion?

They ain't following Islam. Islam tells not to even tease other religions or people, they are doing much worse than that. Islam tells not to compell others to become Muslims, they are doing it. They just claim they are Muslims but not follow Islam. How they are Muslims if they don't follow Islam?

Unfortunately the fanatics have taken Islam away from you. They have changed it to their liking. They are now firmly in charge of it.

If you want it back you'll have to fight for it.

The inconvenient truth.
