81  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Eclipse - Fuck Ledger on: May 15, 2024, 05:19:32 PM
A package for Eclipse came in the mail today.

Inside was a Nastyfans, .999 one ounce coin!

MASSIVE shoutout to OgNasty for donating one of his Nastyfans fine silver binary rounds to get BLOWN TO PIECES.

HUGE moment for forum culture, awsome day.

Any update on this?  I had hoped to see cheers from the crowd as one of my coins gets demolished for all to see.

I am waiting for insperation before I film the coin destruction video. I already filmed a single take version that I ended up scrapping due to it not being good enough / up to my standards. I work in sperts of insperation maybe I hear a song that provokes my creative emotions or I see something that wills me to create. The orignial fuck ledger video was filmed in a single take in less than two hours with about an hour of editing. I have the coin still in mint condition in an airtite. I am wating for the perfect moment to film it's destruction.

Mirrored reflection of silver bitcoin in the setting sun - silver is the most reflective metal on the entire periodic table.

Wow, that’s a really awesome photo. I can’t say that I’ve ever tried to do something like that but I’m impressed with how it turned out. Very cool to say the least. If you need some inspiration to blow up one of my coins I have quite a list of trolls here that could probably help. LOL. Just go through my negative trust feedback and ask those window lickers why they have ODS.

If denver somehow goes back-to-back it will officially be the beginning of a new dynasty in the NBA.

Feels like they’re already the new dynasty. Minnesota is no slouch either though. They’re a couple support pieces away from being the best team in the league.

Looking like today might be the last day of the season for Cleveland. Better not miss tonight’s game if you’re a fan because I don’t think there will be another one and with Mitchell leaving, who knows when they’ll reach the playoffs again.

65k in one hour  Cool

Edit: Confirmed

Bullish

The market is going wild today. I guess people are seeing the bad housing numbers and are ready for the government to start hitting the markets with stimulus again? Inflation isn’t even under control yet… This is 100% the worst financial state the country has been in during my lifetime. 2008 was bad but if you kept your job asset prices were a blessing. This time everyone is getting hurt by inflation and soon dropping home prices… Meanwhile the government debt is so out of control they will be forced to cut rates, further stoking inflation while home equity gets wiped out to pay for everyday items. Own nothing and be happy, or own Bitcoin and be stressed. LOL

The Denver Nuggets held on for the victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Nuggets were eating them up on both ends of the floor. Their defense was all over Anthony Edwards all night long doubling him on the perimeter and not letting him get up shots. On the other end they were making Gobert look like he couldn’t guard anyone, embarrassing the defensive player of the year.
85  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 15, 2024, 04:01:29 AM
I’m watching this Minnesota Timberwolves vs Denver Nuggets game and so far the Nuggets have done a good job at keeping Anthony Edwards in check. At the same time Joker is having a great game so the Timberwolves have an uphill battle to fight. They’re going to need Anthony Edwards to have a much better second half to win this one.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: May 14, 2024, 11:17:11 PM
I don’t like the way Mike seemed like he was joking around and having fun at their face off today. I don’t think he’s going to try and kill Jake. I think he’s glad to be getting one last monster payday and thankful to Jake for making it happen. I hope when fight night comes we see Tyson change back into the gladiator for one final show.

It's a bit crazy to see that Bronny James only measured at 6'1" for the NBA after being listed as 6'4" his entire adult career.  That makes me wonder a little bit if Bryce is really as tall as they say he is.  In any event, this is more bad news for Bronny's career.  He was just one of the worst players on a bad college team and now he's going to end up being a high draft pick in the hopes that LeBron will join him in the future.  I'll be surprised if Bronny ever plays in an NBA game during the actual season, but we're about to see how far the name James will take him.
The expectation is there because he's a son of Lebron James but stats wise, I am not into it but with what I have seen, he doesn't have good stats during his college days. But still, despite that he's already having a good life thanks to his dad, he's still trying to make up for himself and with the media does right now on him, it seems this NBA combine is giving him the exposure that he needs. I think that he's already prospected by some teams because whoever gets him, will get his dad probably for the last season. So it's gonna be a package but is it going to be worth it for them? I've heard that Atlanta is trying to make space for the two, I dunno or probably that was just an assumed comment by a stranger that I've remembered.

I don’t know if that Atlanta talk is real or not. I doubt any team will waste their first round pick on Bronny. He did show a bit of his athletic ability with the fourth highest vertical jump. So he isn’t a scrub or anything. I also
Saw he got a few buckets today in a scrimmage. If he goes to the NBA though, I think he’ll be a late pick for the Lakers, otherwise he’d probably go undrafted.
88  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 14, 2024, 10:50:23 PM
The market is so incredibly short Bitcoin right now. Any good sized move up will cause nearly $8,000,000,000 in liquidations. That will cause a massive candle by itself. With MSTR finding its way into indexes and pension funds scooping up BTC, it seems like only a matter of time now. I think we’ll see another month or two of sideways action and then a nice sized candle taking us to $85K at the end of the summer.
89  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: May 14, 2024, 10:48:05 PM
100 more push-ups in the books. It’s starting to heat up out here in the desert and I think that might have a negative impact on my ability to randomly do push-ups throughout the day. I might have to start being a little more diligent in my morning workouts to get my 100 in before I take a shower to avoid becoming a sweaty mess throughout the day.

All series are tied except for Boston and Cleveland. Boston will win game 5 for sure, just like they did against the Miami Heat. It's hard to predict whether the Pacers or Knicks will win their series, but either team will be easy for the Celtics to beat. I think the Celtics can sweep either the Pacers or the Knicks.

Sadly for Cleveland, If only Mitchell is not injured they might possibly extend this series for a potential game 7 since their current roster still gives Boston a hard time. Cleveland only lacks the ability to play efficiently on crucial quarter that’s why they can’t finish the game with W.

There’s talk now that LeBron’s appearance at Cleveland’s last game was a recruitment visit. There’s also talk that with Donovan Mitchell’s injury he has potentially played his final game in a Cavaliers uniform. The Los Angeles Lakers have supposedly placed Mitchell at the top of their wishlist for this offseason to replace Russell.

Today I see the teams I want to win are both underdogs, so I'm taking them with the spread and hoping for some close games.  Both will be on TNT tonight (soon to be a thing of the past) but I'll probably only catch the Timberwolves/Nuggets matchup, which if we're being honest is basically the NBA Finals as those are the 2 best teams in the league.  I'm glad it's all tied up at 2-2 as well, as I'd love to see that one go 7 games considering it is the best series we're going to see this postseason.

New York Knicks - Indiana Pacers
Handicap (Incl. Overtime)
Indiana Pacers (5.5)

Denver Nuggets - Minnesota Timberwolves
Handicap (Incl. Overtime)
Minnesota Timberwolves (6.5)

Odds
2.54

Looks like NBA on TNT is about to be no more. It’s being reported that the NBA has reached a deal with NBC to take the NBA away from Turner Sports. That means no more Ernie, Shaq, and Charles. End of an era. The news is expected to be made public after the playoffs. Sad news for NBA fans.

95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: May 13, 2024, 05:16:12 PM
Mike Tyson has been seeming pretty confident in his podcast appearances as of late.  I'm not sure why though...  He looks good training, but damn is he getting old and it's clear from watching him speak.  I really hope he gets a massive payday because if he has to keep fighting until he dies it will be a horrible way for such a legend to end his life.  I just hope it's a short fight.  Seeing such an old man have to get back in the ring is genuinely depressing and while Mike is the greatest fighter ever and Jake is barely a professional, this age gap is going to show itself during the fight.  I hope I'm wrong...
96  Economy / Goods / Re: Buying a TESLA CYBERTRUCK with BITCOIN on: May 13, 2024, 05:13:03 PM
I'm starting to see people selling their Cybertrucks for barely more than they paid now.  It seems like the economy along with the allure of owning one of these early is wearing off.  I suspect we'll probably see lower conversion rates going forward of preorders as the reality of this economy takes hold.  Looking at recent preorder conversions, it appears I'm about 130K preorders down the line.  I've heard their conversion rate is as low at 5%.  With them making 1,000 per week now, that puts me about 6-7 weeks away from placing an order and another 6-7 weeks until delivery.  So there is legitimate hope that I'll have one of these by the end of the year.  Possibly as early as September, but I'm crossing my fingers for a Christmas present this year...  Definitely better have mine by this time next year.  Most people don't own their cars as long as I've waited for this one.
97  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 13, 2024, 05:07:29 PM
I can't really say why other than a feeling, but I feel like we're about to make the next move up.  I think we see the 4th of July holiday weekend with Bitcoin's price in the 80's with a slow climb to end the year at $100K.  Maybe wishful thinking, but I still believe that won't even be the big rally.  The big rally juiced by FOMO and get rich quick chasers should be in 2025 and take BTC up around $200K.  Just one man's prediction, but I feel like there's a good chance it becomes reality.
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: May 13, 2024, 05:05:32 PM
Feeling good about yesterday's big win but not too excited about the action today.  So I'm taking a wuss bet and picking the Boston Celtics to win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.  This should be an easy win but you never know.  The odds make it to where you probably shouldn't make this bet, but the playoffs are about halfway over already so you gotta get the fun while the getting is good.  Smiley

Cleveland Cavaliers - Boston Celtics
Winner (Incl. Overtime)
Boston Celtics

Odds
1.28
99  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: May 12, 2024, 02:11:40 PM
The freaking Cleveland Cavaliers couldn’t even keep the game to within 10 points. I’m a little bit bummed about that but it’s ok. I’ll be glad when this round of the playoffs is over and we’re on to better matchups. I am excited about the Denver Nuggets vs Minnesota Timberwolves game later today but I’m not sure which way I’ll bet that one yet.

I’m not sure something like this is really even worth preparing for. I think the biggest factor would likely be luck. However, there are some universal truths when it comes to surviving in any situation. Making sure your body is strong and you’ve been trained in different areas is always a great thing. Preparing yourself for anything usually pays dividends.
