81  Economy / Economics / Re: WHY 21 MILLION BITCOIN CANNOT SERVE THE WHOLE WORLD on: August 18, 2019, 07:06:53 AM
Even if you don't fully understand how divisible bitcoin is, you might understand it by simply understanding the law of economics. It is simply just all about the demand and supply.

It is being discussed a lot of times, you can have 1 satoshi which is .00000001 and if the demand is purely high its value can be enough to supply the 7b people you were talking about. There is actually also no point in allocating bitcoin to each and every person.

I highly expect that the bitcoin user will never go up to a billion. I might be wrong but that is just I simply forsee it

84  Economy / Economics / Re: Decentralized Economy: What is it for? on: August 17, 2019, 07:20:34 AM
I think freelancing is the very good example of what we called decentralized Economy. And internet as the biggest tool while Cryptocurrency as it's main weapon.  To answer your question yes we are indeed heading to that certain point in this era.

Tho, It isn't for all the good thing about it is that people can now choose to either they stay being under observation by the government or to follow this new path.
85  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippine Basketball Association Finals Discussion on: August 17, 2019, 02:35:25 AM
Even tho, that is how the Philippine basketball works where a lot of taunting and physical contacts. What Erwin did really isn't good, what he said is true that he was just trying to win the game but then again it isn't right and ethical. I just wonder tho if Jones are going to react the same way when it's the TNT who have won the game?

Congrats to all who voted for SMB this current season
86  Economy / Services / Re: ▄■▀■▄ 🌟Bitvest.io🌟 - Plinko Signature Campaign (Member-Hero Accepted)(New2) on: August 17, 2019, 02:09:47 AM
I am going to clean house this weekend. We have had a lot of members both here and in 777Coin which have over 50 good reported posts against them (that's deleted posts), these members will no longer be part of this campaign and I will make sure that the serial spammers and/or low effort posters will no longer wear our signature and get paid for it.

This has been a long time coming and if you find yourself on the list, try and improve, that's all I can ask.

As of now I won't entertain any applications until we've revamped and removed these members.

It will never happen trust me, unless you are going to put some bars into most of the users who'm you think is abusing this campaign. I personally can't demand something but Lightlord should reconsider his terms as well. People are spamming because of the high max post count plus he even added that bonus when you can complete the maximum posts.

So if Lightlord is serious about this. You might want to consider discussing this matter. I suggest to  add the merit requirements and lowering down the maximum post counts.

87  Other / Archival / Re: I'm really leaving the U.S. for a 3rd world country because of politics on: August 17, 2019, 02:03:35 AM

You are full of shit.

The people in Mindanao want 'martial law'.  The government would rather be done with it because it's expensive and a lot of the military is tied up in Mindanao (and thus less able to deal with the communist insurgency which is all over the country.)

The people who are bitching are the so-called 'liberals' who are, in my opinion, largely funded and animated by the NWO crowd (that is, the global corporatists) and in favor all all the standard NWO methods (trans-gender fagotry, fake-ass 'environmental' issues, etc, etc.)  They largely _don't_ live in Mindanao.  Unsurprisingly what passes for 'liberals' tend to be unusually corrupt and they lost the last election big-time in part for this reason.  That is my analysis anyway.

I've spent significant time in Mindanao over the last year and even more time studying the security situation.  I have been through checkpoints numerous times.  The soldiers running them are professional and respectful.  At least to me.  This isn't (American puppet) Marco's 'martial law' where you stop at a checkpoint and they rape your wife.

That is actually true, the only threat you might want to consider being in the Mindanao area is if you will encounter some terrorist groups. It is actually a lot safer being watched by Army (most of them are actually more loyal, respectful and polite officials) rather than being in the urban places of the Philippines where there are more "Police" Officials who are abusing their powers which are called "police scalawag".
88  Other / Meta / Re: Spam Sections on: August 16, 2019, 03:42:54 AM

Wherever posts counted for bounties, campaigns, there are spammers. Serious campaigns often do not count posts in P & S section, but shit bounties count them all. They don't care where their supporters post. They just use stupid bot to count posts, or manually check posts in profile pages, and don't care to visit post history to see where supporters post (with or without signature display), and post-contents.
Another plus point that P & S section can be abused to spam is signature enabled to display.  Cheesy

But is that really happening right now? cause to be very honest  I find more posts in the PolSci much worthy to discuss than those from the Bitcoin Discussion. Or Is it maybe because I'm just keeping an eye to those threads that interests me.

What you were talking about really are a possibilities but as what I am currently seeing (There are still more nonsense threads being added in the Bitcoin Discussion Sections and even economics is much worse.
89  Other / Meta / Re: Spam Sections on: August 16, 2019, 02:58:06 AM
Imho Politics & Society and Speculation are more spammy than your list. But as said, it depends from one user to another how he perceives certain posts as spam.
All in all, most of the forum has big amounts of spam, unfortunately. Simply some manage to ignore it better than others.

I am not aware that Politics & society section are more spammy lol, Maybe because of those new idiots who started creating a lot of new threads but when you are going to look at the bitcoin discussion section. Most of the topics are repeated and getting ridiculously swarmed up. So I personally can't agree that the polsci section are more toxic than those sections that were stated above.

We all know that the main reason why those certain sections are having a huge trash posts because of the campaign and mostly polsci post is not counted.
90  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret of gambling? on: August 16, 2019, 02:31:41 AM
Gambling does not have any secret formula. However I am pretty certain that every system has a problem and loopholes. Being in the tech industry that's a pretty common statement (No such system is perfect).

And every gambling casino or game has a system. You should have to be very tech savvy in order for you to make an analysis in every game you are in. I am not saying tho that it is a pretty easy thing to discover, Unless you are given an access code but if you do able to find the game logic and it's pattern you might be able to win the house ( I am currently talking about the online gambling sites and not the traditional ones. cause obviously those has different tricks as well.)
91  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Employment is over rated (build your own empire). on: August 15, 2019, 02:25:34 PM

Well yes. But what I am getting to is that we will always look at the people who flourished through being an entrepreneur and we'll never look at the countless other people who have failed trying to become the next Zuckerberg.

I'm not taking a shot at you at all, as I think it is great (and vital) that we have people starting their own businesses and trying to innovate. Though we shouldn't force everyone down this path.

I completely do agree on that mate. Its about finding your hobbies that might feed you someday and not everyone is interested on having the same path. I am not seeing myself tho of becoming the next facebook founder.  The thing that I am trying to point out here as well is for you to follow your dream once in your life. Jack Ma for an instance became successful on his 30's so its never really too late to pursue your dreams.

People like to often cite stories like Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg as an example that anyone can do it.  They were both born rich with connections.  Jeff's parents gave him a 300k loan to help start Amazon.  How many people have that option available to them? not many

They indeed are on a different levels. Thats the reason why I don't personally admire them that much. Someone that started from the very bottom are the real deal for me.
Try searching the founder of WhatsApp who failed in trying to get into facebook. After that he got an Idea now whats App is worth $9b.
92  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Massive Dramatic Hongkong Protest Against Extradition Law on: August 15, 2019, 05:50:32 AM

I mean I don't know, if you told me that the Chinese government is going to try to get an extradition bill passed that could allow them to abuse this power to take people from Hong Kong into Chinese custody (which is notorious for some shady things) for simply not agreeing with the Chinese government, I think I'd be pretty angry too.

This is like saying: Why are you so mad that I didn't allow you to speak freely?

That is actually one of the reasons why this protests leads into a very disastrous acts because in the first place we all know how Hong Kong people usually criticizes the main land China's government. At first they are speaking out because they wanted to tell the Hong Kong government not to fall into the trap. But then it seems that they were being censored by the government that makes them more angry because of that "freedom of speech".

Quote
The Chinese government deserves all the hell that they're getting right now, and they deserve to have to succumb to the sheer force of numbers of the people in Hong Kong.
Actually this is not the cased right now. Hong Kong people are trying to ask help for the international community because their government wouldn't listen to them. Then Trump made a statement that this issue is only between HK and China which is actually a pretty bad sign for the Hong Kong people. In this case the Chinese government might be able to have a full control over HK then everyone who will try to oppose it might be in great trouble.
93  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Massive Dramatic Hongkong Protest Against Extradition Law on: August 15, 2019, 02:55:01 AM
Bump.

Hong Kong protests are still ongoing. China's pretty evil.

It is indeed still happening just of yesterday, the protesters were very desperate about how they wanted to regain their freedom of speech that are being taken away from them. Sad to say but they've been quite very aggressive this time. I mean I personally do not know the whole  story yet but according to "News" the riot started when some of the protesters started hitting 2 people from the mainland China during their protest in the Hong Kong International Airport.

The protesters tho apologized to the affected passengers last night and they are asking for forgiveness cause again they emphasized how they really wanted to show how desperately they've wanted to have the said freedom of speech that might be taken away from them after this bill is passed.

But can we actually really blame them? I have gathered as much references as I could so you can try to check the different sides of this story.

Here is a quite on point debate from an austrilian guy that you might wanna checked out
https://twitter.com/globaltimesnews/status/1160977102591496192

A statement coming from Beijing that this protest are showing "signs of Terrorism". Are they really are? or China "might" be obviously using this card so they can use their power to Hong Kong citizens?
https://twitter.com/tictoc/status/1160869145669459968

According to  Ai Weiwei an Artist probably from Hong Kong, the  future of Hong Kong is "pretty dark". After Trump said that he will not going to interfere with this the police authorities started to being more aggressive and shutting down every protesters as possible.
https://twitter.com/tictoc/status/1160947814681251841

We may see again the scenario of the student demonstration breakdown in 1989.

I am personally hoping that it will not going to happen anymore.
94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippine Basketball Association Finals Discussion on: August 15, 2019, 02:07:21 AM
Woooowwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!

Despite the multiple possessions of TNT with 1 point lead, they could not convert. Kudos to Standhardinger for putting up a great defense on Jones. SMB experience was evident in this game, they kept their composure after being down by as much as 16 points.
this is what I was talking about. TNT is pretty strong right now because of their import and this game only shows how crucial it is to stop this monster Jones so Kuddos indeed to Standhardinger for doing a job on the last minutes of game 5.

He is really one of those underrated guys in PBA, he is already 30 years old but only got recognized during 2017 when he got the first overall drop pick of SMB.
95  Other / Politics & Society / Re: HarmonyOS 1.0 by Huawei : Breaking free from the american Shackels on: August 14, 2019, 11:32:35 AM
It actually doesn't matter if how good can this they called "Open-Source OS" which in fact they didn't even provide the code. Huawei can still be a pure threat no matter how I hate US from getting your information I am still  very conscious and scared when China is the one practicing it.

Harmony OS just recently launched and already had that "Privacy" issue that we can't just ignore.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BLOCKCHAIN IN THE FUTURE on: August 14, 2019, 08:45:51 AM
Lets get a High IQ thread going here.

What will blockchain look like in 2030? What will have failed? What will still be in existence? What portion of govs will utilize the blockchain? What things do you think will happen that might surprise us?

@pooya is right some of the post here thinks that blockchain and crypto is the same lol ( I wonder where was the high IQ you were actually talking about.

Going back to the topic.

We know how strong can the blockchain technology when it comes to keeping your data safe and this can be the main reason why it might grow even bigger in the future years.
2030 can be long enough for a massive blockchain growth being widely used mainly in the Database system in probably almost all tech companies around the world. This tech might also be a standard studies in most universities.

I cannot foresee this one tho, If how can it affect the crypto industry
97  Economy / Economics / Re: Advice on how best to protect your capital on: August 14, 2019, 04:45:38 AM
My advice would be to just ignore that whole space entirely.  I've never invested in an ICO and never will.

Definitely having the same thoughts here. ICO's mostly are scam projects and even if they are doing something good by now they will surely die later on, so in the first place what's the point of being skeptical if you can actually "Skip" from it's destruction.

This will similarly applies to "Cloud Mining", "HYIP" and any other obvious "Scam" scheme projects. The key to protecting your assets is by putting it in the right place, considering the fact that even the most legit ways of earning a profit does not guarantee a 100% how much more if the said assets are being put into those "Scam" category. scheme.
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling habits that will cost you on: August 14, 2019, 03:11:19 AM
I would say that you have made a very great decision and  frankly investing is safer and better than gambling directly even though the profit might be small. I got to know about this after I had lost too much to gambling. It was at that point a friend told me about gambling investment I have no single regret about this.

This doesn’t stop me from gambling, but I only play for fun and its occasional. The mistake we make as gamblers is playing directly for profit, knowing fully well that making huge profit is impossible since the house is and will always remain the winner, at least we all know that the odds are in favor of the house, so wisdom will direct to invest directly in the sites to enjoy shares from their profits.
Statements like this are only made by gamblers that are not willing to learn the required skills in each game. If we hear stories of gamblers winning million dollars from gambling, what stops us from believing we can also achieve this? I read something on the news last week about a guy that won over 50BTC from one of the gambling sites and according to the news, he had never won a dime before that time. Sometimes patience and a heart that is opened to learning is all we need to succeed in the game.

The percentage gambling investors get is nothing compared to what they make from playing directly on the site. So why invest when you can as well play and even make more profit? Just cancel fear, go for more knowledge and be determined to make money from the game and you will surely make it.

There is actually nothing wrong about dreaming but do you have what it takes? cause if you don't then understand reality it won't hurt you anyways. That's the thing that the guy above is trying to emphasize. Gambling is supposedly made to entertainment humans not to directly make a huge profit from this(although it is possible). Why invest? because it is obviously much safer.

Let me ask you a question have you done the thing you pointed out on that statement? Cause I highly doubted that you are also practicing what you were actually saying
99  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Employment is over rated (build your own empire). on: August 13, 2019, 03:02:50 PM
But lets be real : This sort of thing is not for everyone. Plus, when you're saying that the reason that the vast majority of people become uber wealthy is due to the fact that they've started their own companies -- that's true, but it doesn't look at everything.

It should still be for everyone who dreamed of. You are right that in reality most persons who tries to build there own empire are broke. I myself is one of that right now. I am trying to build my own business from scratch having zero budget. I am only getting  slight amount from here and from doing sideline freelancing jobs locally. It is pretty hard for me because I am still young having only a few years of experience. Doing all the stuffs, Making a logo for my branding, UI/UX designs, been studying programming languages for awhile specifically JS Angular Framework for my front end and Node.js for the backend part. I might fail but atleast I tried.

However I  am still very determined to continue doing this because I know for a fact that I am happy doing it even if It is still not yet finished and I am currently not earning even a single penny from it. If I can no longer put a food on my plate thats the time that I might "Pause" this for awhile and find some stable job but then I am surely going back.

I am the type of guy before who doesn't care about dreaming of making a living doing things that i loved which is online gaming. After I got sick tho, I realized that I am not happy with my job and I am too tired dealing with my co employees and employer. Thats the time where you will realize that it is still never too late to do it.

A once philosopher said
"One of the biggest regrets of a dying person is not about the things he have done but those things that he never did".
100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs. Donaire WBSS Bantamweight Final on: August 13, 2019, 02:30:51 PM

Yeah Donaire is a good fighter but he lacks the determination and the patience in the fight. He always wants to end the game early but when the match goes beyond 5rounds, he losses his composue and his stamina started to take toll. Now if he is determined to get back his glory days, he should double his training and also train hard for his stamina for 12 rounds of boxing.

He actually comes out aggressive on his every fights. That is his fight style and which makes it quite entertaining. I think he still has that determination dude it's just that you also have to consider his not getting younger not he is not Pacman at all. There is a good reason why he is currently in the finals, A lucky won from Burnett because of his injury. In fact he did KO Young during the 6th round which only means that he can still be very dangerous even after round 5.

However his opponent is just a pure monster. A perfect record and a Round 1 KO from quarter finals plus a round 2 KO for semi finals against one of the toughest fighter in this division(Rodriguez)  is just so much incredible that might be too much for Donaire.

The only thing that Donaire might possibly win this fight is to use his "Ring Savvy" skill. He has more experienced and against that monster you should not stand in front of him and never ever dare to encounter a slug feast.
