If what you are saying is true, then it will be interesting to watch the current odds of the match.
At the toss and before the rain, the odds were clearing favoring the Indians. Would like to know if things have changed because of the rain  Huh
2 and a half hours are already gone. The pitch is still not ready yet. Now, I am doubting if we'll have a play today and I'm waiting for the official announcement  Undecided

These are really awesome memes from where do you get those? Incredibly most of them suggest what we are thinking now. Good work!

Guess, you missed the last part  Tongue

The pitch has got wet now let's see what happens. This happened while removing the covers, very bad stadium staff. Super sucker can remove it. But, it will play a spoil sports.
Will there be a reduction in overs, if the pitch is wet because of the inadequacies of the staff members i am sure their job is on the line, hope the match will start as i have made my bet on India to win and with the rain chasing is the right option as India already won the toss. If i am not wrong the match was supposed to start a couple of hours back and the match is not yet started and if there will be a reduced over per side or they will play the entire game is to be seen.
An hour has already passed from the original schedule. So most probably we'll have reduced overs. The rain has been ON and OFF for quite some time now. Presently, the rain has stopped. If there is no further rain, I believe we'll have a T10 match most likely or few more extra overs.
803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 05, 2020, 12:42:14 PM
Am still rooting for SA even though they missed a golden opportunity right here. If they somehow manage to dismiss England within 250, they still have a shot at winning this one.
It will be a difficult game for South Africa to win from this situation, England already have a 114 run lead and they just lost one wicket in the second innings and they can score 200 plus runs from this situation and take the lead over 300 runs and I do not see any good batsman for South Africa that can help them chase this score.
Yeah, it's true that England has a lead of 132 runs now at the cost of 1 wicket. But, you forgot the fact that ENG specializes in unexpected turns of events. But SA should have to find a breakthrough at the earliest before it's too late to come back into the game.
804  Economy / Speculation / Re: Halving, who's closest with actual Nrs TAKE A CHANCE on the LIST !!! on: January 03, 2020, 05:01:03 PM
$10850-$10900 $10851-$10900

Not a TA guy, but I believe that the price will range around 9k and 10k this April. So when I looked for an open slot around the price range which isn't already taken, this was what came into my mind.

Few rules required to participate;

-Must have at least 25 EARNED merits.
-Must have at least 50 activity
-Mainly cause of o_e_l_e_o we found a new way to chose a price (been voted here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5213423.0)
We will guess prices in boxes of 50$ ranges, looks as follow

Mic, Looks like some members on the list, doesn't qualify the requirements -
9851-9900          heslo            Earned Merits 14
10201-10250      inanilujimi     Earned Merits 5
10101-10150      Lanatsa         Earned Merits 24

Edit: Had to adjust the price  Wink Hope it's Ok

806  Other / Meta / Re: JSON API for merit data on: January 02, 2020, 05:57:08 PM
Here's a userscript that utilizes my API do display earned merit of every poster just bellow their total merit score.

Code:
-skip-
[img]https://i.imgur.com/wOHHo8P.png[/img]

I think the data provided by the userscript is wrong for almost all users. Take your profile for example:

It shows Merit = 1040, eMerit = 529, that means the airdropped merit is 1040-529=511, which is not possible.

My Profile shows Merit = 220, eMerit = 210, so Airdropped Merits = 10, but that's not the case, I started with 0 merits

Is the mention option still working? Because I was quoted in a post yesterday, but didn't get notified by the bot. However, LoyceV's maggidromo alternative caught it.

Hey akhjob, Thanks for showing interest in these initiatives always. Please do note that this topic is a discussion topic rather than a being a raffle topic. This topic will serve as a topic where we can discuss about these raffles, future ideas of this board and other ways of improving the population of this board etc.

Rather the first raffle topic will be created only on January 1st and the rest of the month raffles will be created on a particular date which commemorates one of the important events in bitcoin history. Sorry for not mentioning this prior in the OP.  Smiley

I thought you will take in participants from Dec 29th till Jan 1 and will roll on Jan 1. My bad 🤦‍♂️
Anyways nice to see that things get rolling.. 👍 Hope we could attract more Indians towards the forum.

One doubt i have is whether it is a first come first serve. Its a newbie question but since i never participated no idea about it.

Most raffles are first come first serve.

Nice to see that the initiative has come live. Let me be the first to join.

816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Amount Of Available Dice Rolls Per Day on: December 29, 2019, 03:28:50 PM
Dices are the best place to lose your money if you are careless. But if you automate things, then you are destined to lose loads of money.. You always need a keen eye on the rolls to get bigger hit.
That's not true, automated or not you'll still lose no matter what happens. Using auto bet for dice is preference and could be convenient if you're using a certain strategy that takes time you'd rather use one than click hundreds of times for a few minutes. The process is only much faster that's why others lose a lot but some auto bets have features where you can stop it at a certain point.
I think I didn't explain clearly, I'm not saying that autobet options are not convenient when we're watching the rolls.. Infact they are the preferred way in dice. I'm just against using bots to make bets on our behalf as it is a dumb idea.
I normally play dice at 100x in autobet mode.. So when I don't see a high or low for too long say 200-300 rolls.. I just increase my bet amount and autobet high or low as it's mostly likely to happen within a short duration.. If you are not watching your rolls, you won't be able to identify such instances. This is key to stay in profits.

I believe that it was a good thing that I cashed out my bet on SA early at 1.5x. Considering the current scenario, I believe that ENG now have a chance to win this match.
Damn shouldn't have closed the bet early it was an easy 2.3x profit Undecided Anyways, happy that I didn't lose anything in this one.
Anybody made a bet on SA to win this match?
819  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New experience about posting behaviour on: December 29, 2019, 09:39:57 AM
Not a campaign manager myself, but I believe you can easily identify such people before accepting them for your campaign. While checking for their posting quality, check if they had posted enough in the last month. In your case, if you are looking for someone who makes a minimum of 25 posts per week, check if he had made 120 posts or higher in the last month, that's approximately 30 posts per week. This idea can be combined with the ideas provided earlier by joniboini and AverageGlabella.
Or you can change the payments from Pay per Week to Pay per Post like the Bitvest and 777 Campaigns, that might attract users to post more.
820  Local / India / Re: Interesting update from South East Delhi about crypto FIR on: December 29, 2019, 08:30:23 AM
They must not be entertaining any FIR and since there is a bank ban, I doubt anyone would go about filing any FIT of being cheated in P2P transactions. When this bank ban was not introduced, the police refused to file even my FIR and had to complain to the higher authorities who advised me to be more careful rather than arresting the culprit who was an Indian.

The main reason why the Police are not entertaining crypto-related FIRs is that there is no clear picture as to how the Law sees Cryptocurrencies. Media claims that Bitcoin is Ponzi, RBI bans crypto-related transactions. These are the things that the general Police are aware of. And, when you get scammed by someone and go to them to file a complaint, they see you as a Ponzi promoter and a violator of the RBI rules. So, they'll advise you rather than take your case. This situation will prevail until the Govt comes with some sort of regulation  Undecided

But police department is relatively less smart and educated (no offence) and it is really hard to train police officers regarding legality/illegality of cryptos and different situations.

I disagree with this part. When you educate them with outdated information and train them with outdated tech, they'll be obviously less smart. It all depends on how you train your employees after you recruit them and how often you use a specific set of skill to solve a problem.
